Chapter 19
AN: There is abuse. Read at your own risk.
I honestly didn't know how long I was in this darkened room for. It could gave been just mere minutes or hours, but I thought days passed. That is what this room does to you. Makes you go insane. I curled up in the corner and drifted off to sleep.
I awoke to my stomach grumbling. Right...I never had anything the morning we were summoned. Wonder if Akito will bring some food. I sighed and stretched out on my back, now looking up into the darkness. I hope Yuki was alright. I hoped that Akito didn't punish him. I ended up thinking about the fun night all four of us had, the passionate kiss I received, I touched my lips softly, as I remembered. I smiled softly to myself and never even realized I had fallen asleep again. I heard the door slide open and I slowly opened my eyes to see a silhouette of a person, I thought was Yuki, standing there. "Yuki…" I whispered as they walked in and I sat up, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. "Yiu shouldn't…" I trailed off and my blood turned ice cold because it wasn't Yuki who was now almost nose to nose with me, but Akito. "Shouldn't what? What were you going to say, Kara?" His voice was so cold, that I shivered. I should have kept my mouth shut. Of course, it wouldn't have been Yuki. How could I be so stupid?
"You really should just forget about that stupid rat. He is my pet." He sneered and I tried to pull away but Akito held my head in place, still inches from his face. "Though it seems as if Yuki has already forgotten about you. He left, like a good boy, without a word or a fight." I shook my head. Akito was lying. He had to be. Yuki would try to fight for me…for us…wouldn't he? Akito laughed. "You're just as stupid as your brother, you know that?" I clenched my fists. I could feel the anger rising in me. "If I was as stupid as my brother, why do you even want to marry me? Wouldn't that make you stupid?" I could see the fury in Akito's eyes after I said that. He stood up, then grabbed my hair, yanking me out of the room and down the hall, ignoring my protests of pain. He didn't let go until we were in his room and he threw me on the bed. Oh no, not his bed. Not again. I started shaking. Akito looked down at me, smirking, his eyes were cold. He leaned towards me, resting his hands on my shoulders as he moved his lips to my ear, he whispered, "I want you so bad." He then bit my ear hard. I Jumped and cried out in pain, as I pushed him away. Realizing what I just did, once again sent shivers up my spine. "I'm- I'm…" I never got to finish because Akito slapped me hard across the face.
"You do not get to push me away. You will belong to me. I am the head of the household and my word is absolute. I do what I want when I want and you, nor anyone else has a say in the matter!" He grabbed my cheeks and I winced in pain as he forced me to look him in the eyes. "Do I make myself clear, Kara?" I nodded slowly and he smirked. "Good girl," he whispered, then kissed me as he pushed me back onto the bed. I shivered at his touch, at his groping; he thought it was me enjoying myself. I felt him come alive and I braced myself. He pulled my pants down and instantly put himself inside me. I cried, wanted to fight him off, but knowing in the end, Akito would still win. In the end, I laid there and when Akito was finished, he climbed off of me, fixed his kimono, and walked out of my line of vision. I just curled up and cried until I fell asleep.
Yuki was exhausted when he got home. All he wanted to do was just go to his room and be alone, but that irritating cat came running up to him. "Where is she?" he demanded. Yuki sighed. He really didn't want to put up with Kyo right now. "She…she won't be coming home any time soon," Yuki said quietly, trying to choose his words carefully. Kyo grabbed Yuki's shirt just as Tohru came running in to try and stop the two from what would be another fight.
"What the hell do you mean by that, you stupid rat?" Kyo said, angrily. Yuki glared at him. "Akito has decided to punish her, you stupid cat!" he said through gritted teeth as he shoved Kyo's hands away from him. "He's punishing me…" he said more so to himself than to them as he turned away and walked up the steps to the second floor, to where his room was. He closed the door, leaning against it, then slid to the floor, hugging his knees as he listened to Kyo ranting. "He should have tried harder!" Kyo yelled. "He just left her there for him to do god knows what!" Kyo punched the table. "You three did know something like this would happen…" Shigure said, calmly. "Please don't wreck my house." Tohru sighed. "C-can we not talk to Akito? W-we just have to tell him that I asked you to stay.." Kyo sighed and gently whacked Tohru on the head. "That would be lying and Akito knows when one lies, besides we were quite happy to keep you company." Tohru sighed. "This is my fault.. isn't it?"
"No idiot! It's Akito's fault, but that damn rat should have tried harder to protect her! He loves her does he not?" Kyo muttered under his breath quietly, but Yuki heard it and it sent a pang of pain through his heart as well as shivers up and down his spine. Yuki couldn't even save the one he loved, the one who was always so kind to him, the one who took his punishments for him the best she could. He stood up and walked over to his bed, flipping down on it. I'm sorry, Kara.
He stood watching as Akito yanked his only friend to the ground, pull something sharp out and stab it into her shoulder. He stood frozen to the spot and covered his ears in horror as he heard her screaming. What could he do? He couldn't do anything, especially against Akito. He was too scary. He watched as Hatori, now by Kara's side, say that she needed to get to his clinic quickly. He then looked from a terrified Yuki to the nonchalant boy and asked what happened. Yuki looked up at the older boy who shrug and said "She pissed me off." Hatori didn't question it anymore. He had to get the bleeding stopped.
When Hatori left, Akito smirked, then grabbed Yuki's sleeve and pulled him away, towards Akito's room. Once in his room, Yuki shivered. He didn't like Akito's room at all. His room was worse than the punishment room. "P-please don't…I'm sorry." Akito sighed. "You should have thought about that sooner, huh? Then poor stupid Kara wouldn't have had to get hurt," he said, quietly, as he brushed a hand against Yuki's cheek making him jump. "She's…Kara…is my friend. My only friend." he pleaded with the older boy. "We were just playing together. I was lonely. Please don't punish me."
"Don't you dare try to persuade me otherwise. My mind is made up. Besides, you're not lonely, you have me. I'm always here for my favorite little rat." Akito said again, running his fingers across Yuki's cheek, before walking over to the drawers. "Now, go lean over the bed Yuki." Yuki looked towards the bed, to Akito. "Please Akito. I'm sorry!" Yuki begged to try again, but Akito stormed over and his eyes burned fury as he slapped Yuki hard across the face, knocking the younger boy over. "You will obey me!" Akito spat. "We wouldn't want anything else to happen to Kara now, would we?"
Yuki froze at that. Of course, he didn't want anything else happening to her. He bit his lip and moved over to the bed. Akito smirked and watched as Yuki pulled his pants down. Yukio felt cold and extremely more vulnerable bent over as he could hear Akito walk over to the drawer and pulled out the riding crop. Yuki bit his lip and grabbed onto the sheets as he braced for the dreaded implement. Yuki cried out in pain as it collided with his bottom.
When Yuki tried not making any noises and just whimpered, Akito got mad and brought it down harder and harder, breaking the skin around his bottom, his lower back, and the bottom of his thighs. Yuki was in so much pain that he dropped his full weight onto the bed and cried. After a while longer, Akito's anger subsided. He sat on the bed next to Yuki. "A pitiful rat doesn't need to be making friends. Ever. I am your one and only friend Yuki. Do you understand?" Yuki just nodded. Akito ran his fingers slowly through Yuki's damp hair before getting up. "Do not move. I'll go get Hatori. I'm sure he's finished treating the monster's sister."
Yuki woke up with a start, in a cold sweat. A nightmare. He groaned. All he was, was useless. Will he always be useless towards the one he loved?
