Chapter nine:

The host club has gathered at the location and are all sitting together.

"So how are we going to find Kao-Chan?" Hunny brings up as he holds Usa-Chan close to his chest.

"Well we need to figure out how we are supposed to get that Specter out of him." Kyouya points out adjusting his glasses that have the glare of the light shining off of them. "If we just go to find him right now we won't really be able to do anything without the information on how to separate them."

The others turn to the book that Haruhi is holding hoping for an answer.

Hikaru looks away to look to the stuff around them in the woods. He really has no idea what anything here really does so he can't tell if they're going to be helpful or not.

There is a sudden sound of a branch snapping causing almost all of those there to jump.

They turn to the direction where the sound came from and see a human shaped figure approaching them.

Tamaki stands up staring directly at the figure. "Who goes there?" He calls out as the figure continues to approach.

The person arrives to the spot where the host club currently is at. A woman stands before them who has a serious look on her face. She has sleek dark brown hair and sky-blue eyes. Her hair is pulled up into a ponytail, so the end of the ponytail reaches the top of the back of her neck, and she smiles in greeting to them. She is wearing a black dress with some pink flowers acting like large dots along it, her legs are replaced with black colored prosthetics, and she is wearing some light brown convers. Her skin looks delicate and pale.

Behind her another person comes over following the same path that she took and moves to stand beside her. He has grey hair with black strips in his hair, he appears to be about the same age as the female which is a young adult, his eyes are blue though his pupils are white instead of black, he has a blue jay feather attached to the left side of his ear length well taken care of hair, he is wearing a black t-shirt, jeans, and black convers. He is a little pale though it actually seems to compliment his appearance.

"Who are you? Why are you here? What is it you want?" Tamaki puffs out his chest trying to seem tough as the two link their hands together.

"We could ask you the same thing." The male tells them staring in their direction as though they have done something wrong but wont admit it.

"Jay. I am sure there is an explanation." The female turns to her companion then turns back to look to the host club. "Sorry about him. My name is Briar and this is my husband jay." She nods to the man standing next to her. "We were the ones who put all of this here." She explains and moves over to the log where she sits down. "Sorry. Even with the prosthetics I can still have trouble since my spine isn't in the best shape. We left my wheelchair in the car since we just came to do a check on this spot after all this time."

Jay stands by her and seems to be looking at nothing in particular. "I can take over." He assures her. "We summoned a Specter right here in this very spot." He doesn't get to say more as Hikaru speaks up.

"So it was you two who did all this in the first place!" Hikaru goes over to Jay and stands in front of him glaring right into his eyes, though the others eyes don't seem to focus on him at all. "How could you do such a thing!? Didn't you even take into account that someone else would come across this place?! And now my brother is possessed by one of those things you dared to summon!" He feels his anger flare up even more as Jay doesn't seem to be really looking at him. "Look at me you jerk!"

"I am blind." Jay responds with an unimpressed tone. "Jerk."

Hikaru pauses at this then he looks down as his hands clench into fists. "Fine. Then answer my questions."

"You really could do with some lessons on some patience. We were getting to that if you hadn't caught on." Jay sighs heavily before he continues. "We were young at the time. We were really interested in the whole magic stuff. So with the knowledge we had we set everything up."

"We also decided to trap what we would summon here." Briar adds and everyone turns to her. "Because we were young we thought that would be enough to keep it from getting out into the world. Youngsters can make miss some things that adults would be able to catch." She light shrugs. "And we talked to it for a bit though at the time we didn't have the information to send it away. So we left it there after getting information from it."

"And after we remembered having left that thing here quite a few years later." Jay picks the story back up. "We came back to this spot to check on things."

"If you came back then were you going to try to send it back to where it came from?" Hikaru pushes with hope that the two will know what to do in order to save his brother.

"Kaoru" takes a right turn as Night had told him that the left turn, the straight hall ended into two directions, lead to a dining room that was empty of people. He heads along the hallway that they are now in.

Twilight has gone up ahead to try to scout out any other directions that it might lead them.

Shade and Night are jumping in and out of doors checking each room since they can pass through them as well as not be noticed by anyone else.

"Don't you worry Kaoru" "Kaoru" talks to himself softly as he continues along down the hallway. He can feel everything the host has felt, remember everything the host has felt, as it helps out with being an imposter. "You won't ever have to worry about not being second place in anything ever again. Not being the heir to your family's business. Having to live in the shadow of your slightly older twin brother. None of that will matter after we are done with this."

Twilight comes racing over to "Kaoru" just as Night and Shade come out of a room reach. "I found the throne room!" He shares as the other two come over to him. "And the king is sitting in the throne right now."

"Excellent." "Kaoru" smiles upon hearing the good news.

AN:

Yes Briar and Jay are a little cameo from the Warriors series. Briarlight and Jayfeather. I adore thinking of them as a couple together. I decided to have Briarlight have prosthetics instead of only being in a wheelchair so she can get through the woods easier. It is just what I decided to do.
