Hi! I am back again, I just want to let you know that the start of our second semester is on Feb. 8 so I still have a lot of time to write. Anddd to that someone who said Sakura become more timid, I reread this and found nothing wrong. I only made her quiet and not herself the day when she found out about the three who died for her in which she made herself guilty for every reason (I don't want to say it one by one, so reread it, carefully) but! She's already back to herself from the last chapter when she helped Alexis' mother to recover from her sickness. Anyways, I hoped you will enjoy this chapter!

CHAPTER 9
"You! Who the fuck are you?!" Sakura gulped as the creepy looking man named Keith Shadis brought his face close to hers, the eye bags under his eyes were very concerning her. She leaned back because of disgust when his saliva dropped to her face like a rain droplets, calming herself down to kick him on the gut, because the one in front of her is their commandant, and she wants to have a good impression.
His shout echoed through the entire place that can be heard upto the other cadets that was formed in perfect alignment in front of her. She is wearing the assigned uniform for the training corps that was given to her by Sandra once they got home yesterday night. Honestly, those belts that was clinging to her body right now is making her uncomfortable.
It was seven o'clock in the morning and they were on their morning formation, but she was on the front facing the others. Today is the day of her first day on training corps so she needs to introduce herself.
"Sakura Haruno, from Krolva district Sir!" She shouted back, suppressing her disgust expression from the commandant.
While Sakura and Sandra were traveling to the camp, she was told to lie that she was living in the West of wall Rose, it is to hide the fact that she came from out of nowhere and have no any background informations to give. She was sure that they already taken care of her fake informations to join the training corps. And besides all that, all she knew was to say that she was from the Krolva district, so she didn't really have any idea on what she exactly have to do.
"Why are you here cadet?!" Keith shouted. Sakura once again, shut her eyes tight from disgust, and slightly glared at the man due to annoyance.
"I want to join the Scouting Legion, Sir!" She shouted while she stand there stiffly with her hands on both sides. She watched as Keith stared at her from up to down and smirked that kinda made her nervous. He leaned back and put his hands behind him.
"I see... Then tell me how the hell a pathetic weak girl like you managed to convinced Commander Erwin to let you join here when you can't even perform a fucking salute! Do you take this as a fucking joke?!" Sakura's face came from confused to horror.
'How am I supposed to know when to do that?!' She panicky thought, then remembered why Sandra was smirking for the whole time earlier. A burning rage crept up to her soul and swear to get a sweet revenge for her loving friend.
She peeked at the other cadets behind the commandant that was blocking her view, and saw that they were standing there with their hands on their back in a restful manner and feet apart from each other. She can also see some of them smirking from the scene that made her face turned red like a tomato.
'I don't know how to salute!' She shouted from her thoughts as she looked at Keith with an apologetic eyes that only made the man more angry than before.
"A-ah!" A sound escape her mouth when suddenly a small part of her memory came to her mind. The day when her skills got tested by Erwin, Levi and Hange, where she saw Sandra saluted at them three. So she mimicked it as fast as possible.
"I apologize for my rudeness, Sir!"
"I don't need a fucking apology! Give me a laps until the sun sets! Now!" He shouted from the top of his lungs and brought his face to hers again while pointing at the very wide field. Sakura once again closed her eyes from disgust.
"Sir, yes sir!" Then she started to ran away from him with a face still red from embarrassment. Now she can feel the gazes of the other cadets to her as she needs to ran in circles around them.
"What the hell are you looking at?! Do you want to end up like her?!" Keith shouted again, but this time he was facing the other trainees who flinched by surprised.
"Sir, no sir!" They shouted in unison.
Sakura tsked. Once she was finally behind them, even if it's four meters apart, it's still enough to make her hidden by sight from everyone. So she took the chance to finally wiped her face from the disgusting saliva with her sleeves.
"Then pay attention and get yourselves a partner and spar until you collapse!"
"Sir, yes sir!" Then they all scatter until the space between her and them became close down to half a meter, but she continued to ran nonetheless and watched them with interest as some of them bring out a knife.
Then she noticed the piercing gaze coming from Keith Shadis as she was about to finished her first lap, so she hardened her gaze and looked at her front as she passed him by.
"Wait, I don't get it... Why would Commander Erwin let her join in the first place? We trained for almost three years now, we are about to graduate soon and yet she's here to train for the remaining three months. That's really unfair!" Sakura looked at the source of voice and found the a girl who was staring at her with annoyance.
She sighed. Of course she already expected this, so she just focused on her path with a straight face as she passed them.
"Maybe they already saw potential from her?" The other girl said which made her smirked a little.
'Potential hah? I'm basically one of their pawns now... Oh well, I was the one who suggested it from the first place anyway.'
"Dude she's not even cute!" A tick formed to her forehead as she looked at the one who said that with a creepy smile that made them flinched.
'How dare you say that to me when you looked like a donkey!' She angrily thought.
"Lower your voice, dumbass!"
"Her hair is so pretty!"
"I think I'm inlove.."
"What the hell dude?"
"She looks cool though."
Are some of the conversations that she heard while she do her second laps, in which she basically ignored and somehow it came to the commandants ear.
"Are you really testing my patience?!" He shouted while he rest his hands on his hips with a terrifying face that scared the hell out of the whole cadets except Sakura. Captain Yamato always do that to scare them so she was kinda used to it.
She passed the commandant again and she was now in her third laps, this time they were sparring without talking about her. She sighed.
'Congrats for the great first impression Sakura! You're the best!'

She is exhausted, hungry, and cold. Back from Konoha, she used to train like this, but doing it without a single break, or any water nor food is making her crazy. She can feel her legs aching and her stomach grumbling continuously that made her head throbbed.
It was her five hundred and ninety-eight laps by the way. An average trainees like them would have passed out on their three hundredth, but she's a kunoichi and this was 'supposed' to be nothing to her. But she really didn't think that no one would care if she's thirsty or hungry, even if the commandant ordered them to don't help her, it's still a responsibility of a fellow human to care for each other right? Or are they just that scared to their commandant?
It was already dinner time and some of them just finished eating so they decided to watched her from the terrace of the mess hall, where most of them are boys. But they were so far away so it's fine. She bet that Keith Shadis also known as wrinkly bald man intentionally forgot about her because she doesn't see him anymore after they finished sparring two hours ago. Not to mention that they all eat their lunch except her earlier.
She huffed and swallowed her saliva as she craved for water on her five hundredth and ninety-ninth laps. She jogged in a sluggish way to make an impression that she was really really tired to her watchers.
'Haa... It's already dark, this is my last then I'll stop... Ahhh, I really want to go inside..' She desperately thought, the sun irritated her and her jacket with the logo of training corps was making her feel like she was in a volcano, she was sweating bullets and she was sure that her face was red from the heat earlier in the afternoon. And now, the cold breeze of air was making her trembled and all the sweats from her body were now dry.
Then finally, her six hundredth laps. She collapse and fall on her knees with exasperation and count for one minute to rest before she decided to stand back up with her shaky legs.
"Hey! Let me help you!" Sakura looked at the girl with orange hair who is running towards her with a bottle of water in her hands, due to her great deal of thirst her eyes just focused on the bottle and waited there patiently while her hands are on her knees to support her body while out of breath. When the finally girl came, she quickly snatched it and took many gulps as possible so some of it drip to her neck down to her shirt but paid no mind.
"Ahhhh! Thank.. you.. very much!" She panted as she gave it back to her with almost empty water left. The girl awkwardly smiled.
"Can you walk?" The girl asked and watched her from head to toe.
"Ah- yes! I'm fine. By the way, what's your name?" Sakura scratched the side of her brows as they proceeded to walk slowly towards the mess hall while she slightly limped. The girl smiled and brought her hands for a hand shake in which she gladly shook.
"I'm Petra Ral. Nice to meet you Sakura!"
"Nice to meet you too, Petra. I really appreciate your help, I really thought I would die there." Sakura said while she fixed her hair.
"Next time, you didn't really need to stop until the sun sets, when Commander Shadis left earlier you should have take that opportunity because sometimes he doesn't remember the one that he punished. But.. since you're new, we knew that he is watching you from his office and observing on how long you will last. It happened to all of us on our first day too." Petra mentioned and Sakura just smiled awkwardly. So that's the reason.. she really thought that they hated her because of her special enlistment.
"I see..." A small pang of guilt filled up her chest for thinking that they don't really have nothing to do with a new comer like her.
"I'm shocked that you really made it till night without passing out! I remember we started at one in the afternoon and in two hours, we barely made it to our first hundredth. Some of us passed out, some quitted, and some are just acting tough. But you! You did it for eleven hours straight! Without food nor water! You're amazing!" Petra looked at her with a twinkle in her eyes. Sakura sweatdropped, she really overdid it. Big time.
"Hehe.. I was about to die though." She muttered while scratching the side of her brows. She is still panting and her heart was pounding hard from her chest.
"How many laps did you finished?!" They were now a few steps away from the location and she can already feel their gazes but she ignored them and just walk casually while climbing up the stairs with Petra. The people that was on the terrace was now looking at her up close that made her slightly annoyed, but kept it to herself. She sighed and walked in, but when she did, all the noises for the inside died down when she came into their view.
"Six hundred.." She stated that made everyone who heard gasped and the mess hall became noisy again. Did she said it out loud? She thought as she heard what they were whispering about. Guess she did. She was about to continue walking when she stopped herself.
'Wait, I have to introduce myself again, right?' She pondered when they just stare at her while gossiping to each other. Deciding to break the awkward aura, she bowed and started.
"Hello. I'm Sakura Haruno. Nice to meet you."
"Hey! Is it true that you and Commander Erwin are lovers?!" She immediately lift her head when a girl asked this to her loudly, so that everyone can hear. Her face came to a what-the-heck-look as she gawked at the girl. Seriously?!
"Of course not!" She shouted and sighed exasperatedly then brought her head to her palms and shake it slightly. Who the hell came up to that idea?
"Let's go there Sakura!" Petra half whispered as she pulled her to the further table to her left and seated. Sakura looked at the food and disappointment filled up her stomach. She's freaking sick and tired of bread and soup, she would rather eat ramen that is full of carbs with Naruto than this. Nevertheless, she's really hungry so she lifted up the spoon with soup and took a sip from it, grabbing the bread to take a big bite, and didn't dare to even washed her hands. She's that hungry and you can't blame her for that.
"Hey you bubblegum pink haired kid." Sakura's head snapped to the man who spoke who he have a dirty blonde hair and was looking at her intently. He was also seating beside Petra who was in front of her.
"Yes?" She asked while raising a brow and munching her food to her mouth.
"If you really didn't seduce the survey corps commander.. then what's the real reason on why you are here? I bet you didn't even know how to use a sword, let alone fighting a real titan." All the people from outside came in just to get involved from the hot topic about her. Sakura's face reddened from the word 'seduced' and wandered her eyes to all their faces only to see a mix of glares and curious from everyone of them. She sighed but she's really panicking from the inside.
What should she tell them?! She's not really prepared about these topics specially when Sandra didn't really say anything to her but 'It is up to you.', like really?! Should she just make up a believable story? And she seduced-- what the hell? She irked.
She scratched the side of her brows with her left hand while the other was holding a spoon as she slightly bowed her head because she couldn't looked at them in the eye.
"Well...I-... I'm a..." She trailed.
She can't think of any idea!
"I knew it! You're lovers don't deny it!" Sakura glared at the girl again with an annoyance. She's still meticulously searching for an answer and Sandra suddenly came up to her mind.
"I didn't seduced anyone! It's just that... they said I'm unique..." She said lowering her voice word after word. A silence came for a second then burst of laughter filled the entire room. Her face reddened.
"HAHAHA! I think you should go home kid!" The man from earlier shouted and everyone agreed in different ways. Sakura can't take the embarrassment anymore so she slumped her right hand on the table loud enough to get everyone's attention and clenched the spoon until it break in two parts. They all flinched in horror when they saw her terrifying face.
"I am tired... see you tomorrow." She said menacingly that made everyone froze on their seats. She stand and slurped the soup in one go and grabbed the bread before she leaves. Taking a big bite to the bread, as she darted away from that place.
Forcing her mind off of the embarrassing moment, she looked up the sky and let her mind wonder. She sighed.
'It's the best time to do that.' She thought as she referred to her plan. She dashed and finishes of the whole bread while finding their barracks where they are supposed to sleep in. After a few turn, she finally found it so she bolted in and locked the door. She formed a handsign and a faint poof can be heard as another pair of her came into existence.
"You already know what to do." Sakura's clone muttered a yes and she nodded. Sakura goes to the back door to make her escaped, looking around before readying herself to run with her chakra. Once the place is all clear, she ran at full speed towards the Trost district, the place that was nearest to their training camp.
'Naruto... I'm sorry for keeping you waiting, For some reason.. my guts told me that I am the only one that had been teleported to this hellish place but the other one told me the that you're here... I don't know what to do anymore. I'm trapped here...'
A fifty meter wall came to her view, she hardened her gazed to looked for the gate, only to found it closed and there was no other hole to let herself in. So she had no other choice but to ran all the way up to the wall. She focused her chakra to her feet and it gracefully stick to the wall like a glue.
Not a minute later, she's finally at the top and was amazed on how big the district actually was.
'Naruto.. I hope I don't find you here. You still have a war to win. You're our only hope. You should not be here... I wished you're safe.'
She thought for the last time before she step back for a few feets and ran, once her feet touched the edge of the wall, she bent her knees to use that force to jump.
'You better not be here with me, Naruto!'
