The next day, Tails and Sonic woke up to the sun rising.

"Uhh!" Tails groaned while stretching, "Uhh! Ooh!"

He looked around. "Aw, well. It's too bad we never found that perfect place. Why'd we ever listen to that crocodile."

"I think maybe you're giving up too soon, Tails." Sonic's eyes widened.

"Beyond what you see..." Sonic grabs his head and spins it around to face what he sees, "Huh?"

"Look little buddy!"

A gorgeous jungle panorama was everywhere: waterfalls, woods, distant mountains, lush lakes and rivers.

"Wow." Tails gasped, "Talk about 'beyond what you see'! Sonic, this is amazing!"

The fox pulled aside vines to demonstrate.

"Dramatic views!"

Tails then pulls vines taut for Sonic to swing in them.

"Our very own porch swing!"

Tails is relaxing in a pool which is bubbling merrily. "Hot tub and spa… wait a second." He looks up to see Sonic in a lounge chair. "Why aren't you in it?"

"Never liked the water, but I love relaxing." He took a sip from a drink.

"Suit yourself."

Then, they reach a cottage.

"A little cottage for us to live. And more along here if loads of guests come 'round."

Sonic breakdanced in the living room.

"Let's celebrate!"

Tails was now relaxing on a vine stretched across the water. "The crocodile was right. We found it: the perfect life." He dives into the water.

Sonic was now wearing a chef's hat; stacking some fruit on a skewer. "I'll just whip up a little something." He told Tails with a smile.

The fox dried himself with a towel, "He had the perfect name for it, too."

"Come and get it!" Smiled Sonic while tossing some salad in a bowl.

"Such a wonderful phrase." Tails tried to remember, "It had this rhythm:… Laduda Ladada..."

Sonic was holding out dish on a plate, "Try this... Hot tuna frittata."

"Hmm... No, that's not it." Tails was really paying mind.

Sonic added another bowl of food. "The spinach armada."

"Quiet, Sonic. I'm trying to think."

"A spoon of ricotta."

"Two words."

"A spaghetti pasta."

"Six syllables."

"Kahuna colada."

"Twelve letters."

"A tasty enchilada."

"Rhymes with..."

"Legumes on a platter."

"Think think think..."

Sonic sighed and poked one of the dishes he laid down. "This oughtta be hotter."

"I forget!" Tails groaned.

"I gotta lambada!"

Sonic starts dancing, walking sideways until he bumps into Tails; his hat rolls off. Tails grabs hold of his arm and yells.

"Hey!" He cried, "How can you dance at a time like this? I'm dyin' here!" He realizes he's gone a bit too far, he lets go and backs off, "Ooh. Sorry about that, bro."

"Hakuna Matata." Sonic said nonchalantly.

Tails shakes his head in confusion. "...Come again?"

"Hakuna Matata. It means 'no worries.' Eh—" the hedgehog realizes what he just said. "Ohhh."

Sonic and Tails celebrate as they swing from vines. As they're both in midair, the movie pauses.

"Hey, Tails." Sonic suggested, "I got an idea. Let's do a sing-along!"

"I love a karaoke, Sonic." Tails smiled as a ball came onscreen, "I'm there!"

{As the lyrics appear on the screen, over a montage of Sonic and Tails enjoying their carefree life, the ball hops from syllable to syllable as they sing the words.}

Both: Hakuna Matata
What a wonderful phrase
Hakuna Matata
Ain't no passin' craze

{The ball disappears after bouncing across "CRAZE"}

Tails: It means no worries, for the rest of your day—

(Song stops abruptly)

"Wait a second."

Tails pauses the movie. The fox is singing into a microphone; while Sonic's mic isn't connected.

"Sonic, what happened this time?"

"Err… the cable came loose."

Tails sighed and helped him plug the cable back in.

"Okay... but this time, show a little self-control."

(Song resumes)

(Tails resumes the movie as he and Sonic get into more antics of their carefree life, sliding down a slippery dip, bungee-jumping on jungle vines, parachuting on leaves, and eating chili dogs with Tails accidently squirting Sonic in the face with chili sauce.)

Tails: Hakuna Matata! Ha-haah!
{Both scream as they bungee-jump}
Both: It means no worries
For the rest of your days
It's our problem-free
Philosophy
Hakuna Matata

{It becomes a chant as they shuffle along the now-famous log, dancing and singing}

Both: Hakuna Matata
Hakuna Matata
Hakuna Matata
Hakuna Matata
Hakuna Matata
Hakuna Matata
Hakuna Matata...

(Song ends)
