Regent's Park, One-Shot

While the front gates were opened, Alvin led his brothers past the entrance into Regent's Park. Immediately after they entered the park, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore saw the cab park somewhere far away, the three chipmunks split up, beginning their search to find the girl who stole their book. They had reached a large fountain with a sculpture of a woman when Simon and Alvin disputed about who was the leader of their group.

"Alvin, you may be the eldest, but I am clearly the smartest," said Simon, defending himself.

Alvin complained, "Oh, sure you are! Meanwhile, I'm waiting for a rabbit's foot to…"

Theodore interrupted his brothers' argument, "Hey guys! Look, I think I might have found her!"

Confused, Simon asked as he joined Alvin and Theodore, "You found who?"

"The girl, Simon," said Theodore in excitement, "The same girl who took our book from that alley. Don't you remember?"

Simon shook his head. "Of course I do, Theo. That wasn't too long ago since…"

Alvin interrupted, growing excited. "I'm willing to snatch that book out of that girl's hands. Anyway, last one to the lake is road kill!"

"I'm in!" said Theodore, excitedly.

"Theodore, will you…" Simon let his voice drop, as he asked the air, "Doesn't anyone bother to listen to me for one second?" Aloud, he told Alvin and Theodore, "Hey guys! Wait for me!" He then chased after his two brothers in pursuit.

A few seconds after the three chipmunks fled under the same bench the girl was seated on, reading the same battered copy of The Fellowship of the Ring, Theodore sniffed the air and sneezed aloud. Alvin and Simon covered Theodore's mouth before he could say two words.

Just after the blonde haired girl was distracted by her sister, whose name was apparently Teresa, Theodore said aloud as Alvin and Simon uncovered his mouth, "Guys, thanks!"

Simon shushed Theodore, as he muttered, "Quiet Theo! Now, we need to find a way to get that girl's hands off from that book. It might be our only chance to escape London and return home to Dave."

"Wait a second, genius. You've forgotten the last book we fell into – it landed us here in the city of England!" Alvin snapped, now enraged.

Simon shushed his eldest brother this time. "Alvin, keep quiet!"

Alvin barked aloud, "I won't be quiet until you…"

"Guys, we might have company," said Theodore, nervously.

Quickly, the chipmunk brothers continued hiding under the bench until the blonde haired girl returned. Once the blonde haired girl, who they learned then was called Jessica, sat back down on the bench and set the battered book down on the long wooden seat, Alvin made his way up onto the bench's surface first, before he and Simon helped Theodore climb up on to the bench. While Jessica was distracted because of her fourteen-year-old sister, Teresa, the three chipmunks opened the book to the first two pages. Just then, a bright golden light appeared out of the book, sucking the chipmunk brothers into its pages. By the time Theodore caught Jessica staring back at him, he and his two brothers vanished into thin air.
