While the trio ran to quickly inform Dumbeldore about Draco Malfoy's plan, Genevieve had her own plan. She tossed her Slytherin robes into the rubbish bin before setting it ablaze and making her way to the seventh floor. As she walked past a few students, she shoved them aside and snatched a red apple from a student's hands.

"Hey!" the male called out, but Genevieve chuckled softly to herself. "You started this. Now, I'll finish it." she hissed, eyes narrowed in anger.

She had never felt so much anger before, anger of being betrayed, anger of being used. Nothing could measure how much fury she contained in her tiny body, not even when Draco shifted the blame of Daphne Greengrass's disfiguration onto her. Walking inside the Room of Requirement, Genevieve made her way to the Vanishing Cabinet before uncloaking it. She wasn't sure how it worked nor how it's supposed to work, so she tested a few theories. Placing a little trinket inside the cabinet, she closed it, waited a minute and reopened it. Nothing happened, the trinket was still inside. Next, she placed the Apple inside, closed it and waited. She opened the cabinet a few minutes later and took the apple out to see an evident chunk missing. Grabbing a piece of parchment, she scribbled 'G.A.B.' before slipping it inside and shutting the door. Suddenly a gust of dark, cold air whipped around the cabinet and the handle started to turn on its own. One by one, those who occupied the House of Black started to emerge in dark smoke.

"Oh?" a shrill voice spoke out before chuckling. "It's you. G.A.B. Genevieve Ariel Black. I should've known~."

Genevieve Black dipped lowly in an elegant curtsy before flashing a rather malicious smile, "Welcome...to Hogwarts."

A round of laughter filled the room as they watched the Young Mistress of House Black join their cause. Bellatrix rubbed her cheeks onto Genevieve's before holding her wand out as to say, let's go.

"Draco's in the Hospital Ward, take him back." Genevieve ordered while they made their way to the Astronomy tower. "You included Aunt Bella. I'll take care of Dumbledore myself." This was the first time that any of the Death Eaters had seen Genevieve take charge. And...truth be told, it was quite refreshing. Bellatrix rolled her eyes before making her way towards the Hospital wing where Draco still laid unconscious. The young girl made her way up to the Astronomy tower to see Dumbledore standing there nonchalantly.

"Ah Miss Black…" Dumbledore greeted, "What brings you here?"

Genevieve twirled Draco's wand in her hand, eyeing the elderly male up and down. "Hello Professor. I suppose they've told you already? The three buffoons, where are they?"

Dumbledore chuckled, feigning innocence, "I'm not quite sure what you mean young one."

"Ah...so that's where they learned it from? The art of playing stupid." Genevieve spat, pointing the wand at Dumbledore. "I suppose people like you don't really care for others except yourselves."

Dumbledore stared at Genevieve all knowingly, "Genevieve, this is not who you are. You're only acting impulsively because of your anger."

Genevieve belted a laugh of amusement, holding her stomach as she continued to laugh. Suddenly, her face returned to normal and she ceased to laugh, "Don't you know, the more angry you are, the more impulsive you become. Right now, I want nothing more, than to see all those efforts come crashing down in front of their faces. They called me a Death Eater, fine, I'll show them what a Death Eater does."

"Genevieve, let me help you. You're letting anger taint your mind." Dumbledore approached the girl, trying to calm her. "Put down that wand and we can talk. I can help you."

"Tell me that before you used me." the girl whispered, a smile forming on her lips. "You see, unlike Draco. I'm not scared to kill you. I've no friends, no family, no one I care for anymore. I couldn't care who the Ministry blames for your death and I wouldn't care who the Dark Lord threatens me with."

Bellatrix's loud footsteps could be heard thumping up the Astronomy Tower when soon the door swung open with a loud clunk. Her cackles filled the air as she took her place next to Genevieve. Draco, who had his arms slung over Greyback's shoulder, stared at Genevieve in horror. Dumbledore whipped out his wand at the uninvited guests, waiting to see who would strike first.

"My wand…" Draco croaked out, clenching his sides in pain.

"Expelliarmus." Genevieve quickly casted, knocking Dumbledore's wand away. It felt weird using Draco's wand, it felt much weaker and heavier.

"Stop it Vivi." Draco whispered almost inaudible. "Give me my wand back."

"You don't have to do this, Genevieve." Dumbledore ushered, eyes wavering between his two students and the death eaters that have gathered. "You still have one. Draco."

Genevieve stared at Draco, seeing how he had deteriorated over the years because of this task. "No. Not even Draco." As she started doing the wand movements for the killing curse, a hand suddenly pushed hers down, dispelling the incantation. Severus Snape stood in front of her protectively while glancing at Draco who was clinging onto Greyback with as much power as he could muster.

"Severus." Dumbledore called out. "Please…"

"Avada. Kedavra." Snape called, a green light emitted out of Snape's wand and struck Dumbledore. The man froze in his spot before falling, plummeting to his death down the Astronomy tower. Genevieve took one look at Dumbledore just as he was about to fall, seeing that all life had already left him and that it seemed to be a painless death. She didn't feel remorse for his death nor did she feel happy, she just felt hollow and empty.

"Take Draco back, he must not be standing for so long." Snape ordered, before snapping his head towards Genevieve and gripping her shoulder. "And why...why are you here?"

Genevieve slapped the male's hand, ignoring his question before assisting Draco. "Come on Dragon. We're going home."

Draco allowed Greyback to carry him, but rather than feeling the pain from the Sectumsempra spell, he felt pain for Dumbledore's death. His face twisted in disgust as Bellatrix laid waste to the Great Hall and crucified the students who ran for their lives. Genevieve followed behind silently, noticing the looks she got from fellow classmates. If it was her before, she'd feel uncomfortable but she now could care less.

Drip Drop Drip Drop

The soft pattering of the rain drops against the windowsill was rather calming and serene, yet the Wizarding World was about to engulf in eternal flames. Genevieve Black brushed the golden locks out of Draco's face before dabbing his forehead from sweat. Draco looked up at the girl and for once he wasn't sure if simply going along with her was for her good or not.

"Why did you do it?" he asked.

Genevieve gently placed the washrag in the basin of water, "Because they were bad people."

"And we're not?" Draco took her hand in his before kissing the back of her hand, "What did they do to make you like this?"

"Why are you asking me this? Look what they've done to you." she replied angrily. "If Snape hadn't found us, you'd be dead already."

"But I'm not." he replied, trying to lighten the mood.

Genevieve sighed, unclasping her hands from his and wringing out the water from the cloth before placing it on Draco's head. "You knew they were using me, why didn't you stop me?"

"You said you were happy," he replied quietly. "I was willing to bet Weasel cared for you and once I finished my task. The Dark Lord would set you free. I was willing to bet that...I could make you happy in my own way."

"I don't understand you Draco." the girl muttered, standing up from her position and brushing out her clothing. "Rest well. I'll come visit another day."

Draco let his fingers linger on the hem of the other's sweater, wondering what would become of them from now on. As she left the room, Draco wished she hadn't. He wished….this was all a bad dream and once he woke up, everything would return back to how it was, back to their first year at Hogwarts.

"Lucius." Genevieve greeted, not caring for formalities as much towards the elder Malfoy who stood outside Draco's room. Lucius Malfoy let out a crooked smile towards the girl, thanking her for taking care of Draco.

"I've been meaning to ask Lucius. Where is my birth father?"

"It is best I not say. Just know you won't be able to find him." Lucius replied quietly. The entire Malfoy Family had deteriorated over the past few years, especially Lucius and Draco. He placed a gentle hand on top of the female's head and stroked her hair sadly. "I leave Draco in your hands, Vie."

Genevieve didn't understand Lucius's somber expression, it was as if he were going to pass away soon and left his only child in her hands. She chuckled out mockingly, slapping the male's hand away before putting her best haughty posture. "Oh? What happened to the high and almighty Lucius Malfoy? Lost your position and now you come begging? How utterly hilarious, Sir."

Lucius frowned at her tone, "Take it as you want. Your life will only get much harder from here on out."

"My life has already been hard, thanks to you." she mumbled. "I'll come visit Draco again soon. Well, good day to you."

With that Genevieve apparated out of the Malfoy Manor and back to the House of Black where Voldemort sat at the Head of the table. It seemed he didn't move much, if he wasn't sitting at the table, he was out at the Garden where Ursula Flint tended her flowers. Once seeing the young girl, Voldemort immediately smiled and motioned for her.

"Come come my child." he held out a luxurious looking box to the female. Upon opening it, it revealed Salazar Slytherin's Locket securely tucked within the velvet holster.

"My Lord?" she questioned curiously.

The Dark Lord took the necklace out of its case and clasped it around Genevieve's neck, much to her surprise. He tapped his chin, admiring the necklace around the young girl before giving an agreeing nod. "Keep it well. Let no harm befall it."

"Thank you." she mumbled, picking up the locket and eyeing it to see what was so special. 'Could this be...a horcrux?' she wondered to herself.

Voldemort motioned for the female to take a seat as Nagini sneaked herself onto the table, eyeing the younger up and down. "Genevieve, I believe I can trust you. You see, not too long ago I've lost my ring and now. The only remaining artifact of our Ancestors is with you. I do hope you won't let me down."

"I see…" she replied absentmindedly. There was something about the necklace, something strange, something dark. In her mind, it kept replaying how she was betrayed by her best friends, hated by her two parents and how Draco watched others kick her out of the house when it was snowing. She didn't understand why she couldn't block it out, it felt vivid, it felt...scary. "I don't feel too well...may I be excused." she questioned.

'Weeaaak…' Nagini hissed, nudging her head at Genevieve Black. Genevieve stared at the snake briefly before standing from her position.

Voldemort shooed her away, but caught a glimpse of her eyes flashing red, a red that matched his eyes. Genevieve walked up to her room but not before her Mother stopped her outside the doorway.

"Vie. We need to talk." she started. "I think it is best for you to stay with the Malfoy's for a while."

Genevieve didn't know why she was so upset by this, but she immediately yelled back at her mother for being insensitive. "You could at least tell me to my face if I'm not wanted! No need to wash your way around it!"

Ursula froze at her daughter's sudden outburst, "Vie. How dare you speak to your mother in that tone? Have you lost your mind? I was just...simply..."

"Just what? Huh!" Genevieve cut in, crossing her arms. "Just tired of seeing me around? I know I know. If it wasn't for me, Father would still love you? Father would treat you better? Well sorry. But at least Father still allowed you to stay here. At least you had a daughter that actually cared for you. I've got no one!" With that she entered her room and slammed the door in front of her mother's face. Everyone nearby watched the spectacle, chuckling to themselves before returning to what they originally were doing.

"She'll feel better after a while." Voldemort answered from down below, playing with Nagini who swiveled her tail around his bony fingers. "Maybe. Maybe not."
