Anthony's POV
I couldn't believe it, just when I thought we would have more time the bloody covenant is here but I'm not sure if this is the covenant we know or not but we have to get Lizbeth back to her mother then get Shepard & her team to take care of the Thorian while my team handle to covenant
The Mako was speeding up & the Rookie was having his suit weapons ready for a fight of our lives then I heard comms come to life as Shepard spoke through comms "[What the hell is going on?]"
Kaiser answered that "[Its the Covenant but I can only spot about 3 of their ships so must be a recon group]"
Garrus also spoke "[Recon group?! You see the size of those ships! There like dreadnoughts! How did you guys win the war?]" I smiled behind my helmet knowing his shock
Sepia then said "[uhh Wolf-1... You know a Imperial admiral by the name of..Si'Varis?]" I looked at her as that name sounded familiar but I couldn't remember so then I just nod then she continued "[Well he's here along with a Suro'Orkata]"
Prime replied "[Hey Wolf-1 you don't think that these are the same guys right?]"
I went ahead & said "Prime if it's the same ones the we'll need to be very careful" right now it's been quiet as we reached the hole with those ExoGeni survivors Lizbeth & everyone heard Juliana on comms & we stopped right at the hole & she got out
Everyone got out as well except for the Rookie again as we approached we made sure to stay stealthy & get our weapons ready as I heard Jeong say "Everyone shut up! Let me think!"
Lizbeth came up next to us & asked "What's going on?"
Juliana seemed pretty piss as she spoke "You won't get away with this."
A guard came up to her & pulled her away as Jeong said "Get her out of here!" Now I really am going to kill him
Lizbeth was definitely not military because she got out of cover & ran up to them "Get away from her, you son of a bitch!"
Juliana was able to get free & run over to her as Jeong called out to us "Damn it! Come out where I can see you! All of you!" my team except Kaiser activated our camouflage as he followed Shepard, Garrus, & Ashley as Jeong said "Hah, Shepard. Damn it! I knew it was too much to hope the Geth would kill you. But thankfully they took care of your metal machines"
I wasn't paying any other attention to the conversation as we got our weapons ready & got close to our targets except I was going to just use my fists, Ruby was going to use her sword, Prime was gonna do the same, Sepia was gonna spike the hell out of the mother fucker but then we heard Jeong say "communications are back up. ExoGeni wants this place purged"
I made a mental note to find any dirty secrets on ExoGeni & expose them as payback for this shit as I heard Lizbeth reply "This is a human colony, Jeong. You can't just repurpose us."
God damn I just tuned him out & waited for a pacific key words in order to give the go for everyone to kill their targets but then I heard Shepard go on the paragon path & I got ghost to send a message to the rest of the team letting them know to stand down as we holstered our weapons & decloaked scaring the crap out of them
I looked at Shepard "Right now we need to go take care of the Thorian either through peace or extinction & we also need to try to get everyone to evacuate"
Juliana then asked "Evacuate? What are you talking about?"
Prime answered that "The covenant is here & they will glass this planet & they will kill everyone that isn't Covenant" that seemed to shock everyone except for Shepard's team as Prime continued "We can try to hold them back giving everyone enough time to get out of here but I can't guarantee that everyone will make it out alive but I'll be damn if I'm going to let that happen"
That seemed to give people some hope that they'll make it out alive but then the rookie came on the comms & yell out "[The covenant is here! I repeat the covenant is here!]" I also heard a firefight going on so that's when me & my team got our weapons out then run up to his location quickly to see a army of all the species of the covenants & there was blood & bodies of the covenant made from the Rookie
I saw Shepard coming to look but I gave her a order "Shepard, you & your team will get Sparks & head back to the colony to take care of the Thorian. Don't mind knocking the colonists out because the others probably took care of that for us. We'll make a path for you to go through then after that you'll be on your own"
She wanted to argue but she understood the logic to the plan & got into the Mako as I pulled out my Plasma Rifles, Prime got out his Assault Rifle, Kaiser pulled out his Incineration cannon ready, Sepia got her sniper ready, & Ruby got her beam rifle out as we saw the Rookie clear a path for the Mako to drive through by rushing through the covenant & the Mako made a run for it as Sepia & Ruby started sniping anyone that tried to shoot at the Mako as myself, Kaiser, & Prime charged
Kaiser fired a shot aiming at a brute killing it along with 5 Jackals & 4 Grunts & Prime was running & gunning as he was killing a few Elites then jumped onto a Hunter & shot at its neck then jumped on the other as he pulled out a grenade & stuck it into its neck & he jumped off just as it blew up & I was doing a similar way to what Prime was doing & I was running a little quicker as I activated the sword function on my plasma rifles as I started slicing & dicing any unfortunate Grunt or Jackal or Skirmisher that got to close to me the I saw a minor come at me as I side stepped him & stay one blade into his leg then another into his neck killing him
A Brute was about to hit me with his brute shot until Ruby came out of nowhere yelling out "Leroy Jenkins!" And just tackle the Brute & rip its head off as I was horrified on how brutal she was to the covenant & threw it hard at a hunter causing it to stagger & miss a shot aimed at Kaiser as she said "Man I missed this!"
We saw that the Covenant were now focusing on us I started to listen in on them speaking "It's the Demons, the Speed Demon is here as well" I should of guess they would say my name again but I knew we wouldn't be able to kill them all until I saw a Imperial Admiral & a Field marshal who looked like he survived a ship blowing up & the realization hit me on who we were fighting
Prime seems to know who it was as the Field marshal held up a sword that was just like Prime's except it was adapted to the Covenant as he said "Demon! I do hope you remember because if not then it would be pitiful to find out you don't remember all those years ago"
We both remembered that mission as it was a simple snatch & grab as it also involves explosions then I looked at the Imperial Admiral as he got his swords ready & there was one thing I knew what was gonna happen "Kill the Demons!" I heard the order call out as the entire covenant charged right at us as we charged as well into the war that went for nearly 30 years
Location: Skyway Zhu's Hope elevator
343 Guilty Spark
I was unaware that I was pulled into this failed experiment as this universe has made element Zero so important that it will lead to their destruction, thankfully the reclaimers are here once again to help
Now as the vehicle stopped I exited the vehicle & floated high enough to see a massive army of the covenant who blindly follow the San'Shyuum's who think the Halo rings will lead to their salvation & next I saw the Reclaimers who are fighting the for their survival once again & I was picking up a UNSC frequency which led me to send out a distress signal by using the vehicles communications & I could only hope that the ship could arrive to help deal with the Covenant before we have another Flood crisis
After I sent the message I saw more Reclaimers coming through but I soon noticed a organism stand up resembling to be human as it was going to attack the substitute reclaimer until I activated one of my functions to lift the vehicle & call out to the reclaimer "Behind you" the reclaimers got out of the way as I moved the vehicle right into the creature then soon more started coming as I quickly swept them away & I let go of the vehicle & looked at the group
The female known as Shepard asked me "What the hell was that? & how the hell did you do that?"
I answered "That was 1 of my functions as the monitor of Installation 04. Now we must hurry & find this Thorian before it causes more harm"
I saw a reclaimer wielding the covenant weapon know as a Brute shot say "Why the hell is the covenant here? Also how the fuck is Spark here?!"
I soon then saw the reclaimer known as Shepard look at him & say "Covenant first then we can talk" they seemed to understand as the Substitute reclaimer led her team & I followed them into the elevator as I soon saw three more species that my creators found before & now I had so many questions to ask about their history, the advancements in their culture, & I would need I evaluate their tech tier to see where they are
Prime's POV
I was finally out of ammo for my rifle as I holstered it & got my sword out & soon I saw the field marshal charge at me with some weird sword as my eyes widen I realized it was the same one as mine except it's been modified as we then clashed swords a energy field surrounded us as we were pushing each other back then it explodes sending us away from each other including everyone else & sent some of the covenant off the bridge
Once I stood back up I saw him swing his sword sending out a energy wave at me as I rolled out of the way & soon I saw the spot it landed at start growing Needler crystals then it exploded sending me back & sent some shrapnel at me but thanks to my armor I lived through it then he grabbed my neck & threw me close to the edge of the bridge
I was able to stop myself by grabbing onto a hunter body & I got back up to see him charging at me as I got some music going in my helmet as I selected the song »Incoming Blast Bots from the Jak 3 Soundtrack« which then I got into my music as I got started on weaving around him as he tries to slice me but I just keep being a dodgy bastard which made a opening as I sliced his side & soon I got behind him & sliced his back
I smiled seeing that it was easy but then the cuts I made were healing up as he laughed darkly & turn to face me then said "This is the gift of the gods for my devotion & undying loyalty to them. I shall make you watch as my blade pierces your heart!" I should of figured that this wasn't going to be easy
Anthony's POV
I was panting heavily seeing that I had some marks from Si'Varis as he only had to recharge his shield then said "I'm impressed. But what makes me curious is why those humans go to leave their demons to die & I'm more curious as to where that blasted Preston Cole went"
I was shocked to here that name but that must of tipped him off as he quickly pulled out his gravity hammer & smack me across the face as I got sent flying right into a hunter as it tried to squish me but was saved by Sepia who shot it in the face & again Si'Varis got another opening on me as he kicked me accord the face & grab my arm & threw me over his shoulder & onto the ground hard "I'm now disappointed to be frighten of the speed demon who has slain thousands of warriors" I was getting tired of this as he then kicked me hard as I skidded over to a dead Brute & as I got up I could see that he was advancing towards me as I then holstered my Plasma rifle/Energy Swords then got out my sniper as I changed it to the energy sword function & blocked a gravity hammer strike with it just in time as I then kick him in the torso pushing him back some as he then now got both a plasma rifle & gravity hammer ready
I was gonna try to make a attack until I saw him looking up at the sky as I did the same to see the mother fucking Everest attacking the Covenant ships & just when it was about to be fired upon the Everest pulled off a jump into slipspace quickly which caused the ships to accidentally fire on their own ship destroying it as the Everest came out of slipspace away from the other ships
Then I see Si'Varis call his forces back to the ships as he gets on to a phantom along with the field marshal Suro'Orkata as everyone regrouped to me I could see that those two were eyeing me & Prime as if we were going to have a rematch soon & they left as quickly as they came & soon their ships made a jump to slipspace which I feared that this planet would be seeing the covenant soon
Me & my team were picking up comms from Nihlus as he then said "[Wolfpack! Mind telling me what's going on & give me a report on what in the spirits just happened?!]" I smiled then I got started looking around at the massacre that we caused & I gotta saw we did a number on them
We then heard Cole speak through the comms "[Attention does anyone read me, this is Preston Cole vice admiral of the Everest please respond?]"
I quickly responded to him & said "This is Spartan S115 In charge of Wolfpack, we read you & I would like to ask how did you find us sir?"
I heard a sigh in relief as he then answered "[We heard your distress signal & came here as fast as we could but I would like a sit-rep on where we are & what's going on?]"
I got started walking back to Zhu's hope along with everyone as I said "Sir I think it'll be best if we talked face to face" I then started seeing some flashes coming into my head but I quickly shook my head not knowing what it was but I quickly hurried to Zhu's hope so we can go meet Cold
-1 hour & 40 minutes later-
Location: Everest hangar, Normandy
We just got finished hearing Shepard's part on killing the Thorian & gaining some insight on the beacon which could explain why got some flashes going through my head as everyone except for Chakwas, Joker, Spyglass, The Rookie & The Prometheans would be going to meet the crew & help explain what is going on
As soon as the Normandy doors open I quickly saw a our marines ready to escort us to Admiral Cole but apparently the alien allies we got were given a whole lot of weird looks & would also make this a first contact scenario which I was able to give Cole a heads up on & he cleared it with the crew upon our arrival which they were going to keep their weapons lowered
We reached the elevator to see the Rookie out of his suit as he nodded to us & everyone gone into a room which was apparently a meeting room with Cole sitting down at the table as myself & my team along with the ODST's gone ahead & stood at attention then gave him a salute as he saluted us back & said "At ease soldiers, right now before we talk about anything else, I want to know the new contacts & I would like to know if they are going to be a danger for the crew"
I knew who he was referring to as Halsey spoke "Cole I will tell you that the species that you see before you are part of this galaxy. The blue female is known as Asari which have a long lifespan, next are the large reptilian bipeds are called Krogan who also have a long lifespan but not as long as the Asari but have been able to survive extreme environments, the third is the Turians are a militaristic society & their features are Avian & can only take Dextro-Proteins much like the final race here which are the Quarians-"
Tali stopped Halsey & continued for her "My people are a nomadic species who have been regarded as the best engineers in the galaxy & have been forced out homeworld by the our creations & the whole galaxy has looked down on us as beggars & thieves but what's worse is that we are forced to stay within our suits because of our weaken immune system"
Cole looked at her then asked "What is your name?" She looked up at him
She then answered "Tali'Zorah nar Rayya"
Cole smiled then continued "thank you, now Doctor Halsey mind sending any information you have along with the AI's on what happened while I was gone & everything on this universe" I saw Halsey nod then she walked out as he looked at my team & Shepards "Now mind telling me what is going on here?"
Nihlus went ahead & explained "We're looking for a Turian by the name of Saren who is responsible for nearly killing a fellow Spectre &-"
Cole put his hand up to stop him before saying "Spectre? What is that?"
Kaiden answered that question "Spectre's are a elite group selected from a number of different species, and their primary responsibility is to preserve galactic stability by whatever means necessary. In a way they can do whatever needs to be done to complete a mission a & make a recommendation on can join the Spectre's"
Prime then added "But from what we read they only have jurisdiction in the government called the Council & within its territory they can do anything but outside of that they aren't much of anything"
Cole seemed to understand all of that & looked at his data pad then said "That's all for now & you can find someone to give you a tour of the ship" everyone seemed to understand then walked on out but I knew that we would have to go to a meeting & Shepard is gonna have to talk to the council about the mission & I really really don't want to talk to them right now
