Disclaimer: I do not own my Hero Academia.

Author's Note: Sorry for the late update! I had writer's block for this story for a while. I've been fleshing out my stories so I have a better idea of what I want from the stories. I was stuck deciding how to reintroduce Izuku and how the world has been affected by Monsters while he was gone. Thank you for waiting for me to update.

I've also had some personal issues to deal with the last couple months. I am glad I have the rating of M. This chapter speaks of death.

Anyway there is a Poll I have set up: What Monster should work with All for One? Dragon. Vampire. Witch. Another creature & why.

Timeline:

-Ten year old Izuku finds Grimoire, learns Magic, sees Monsters, Summons Moon Fang, Izuku starts collecting animals, Izuku meets Ochaco, Izuku argues with Katsuki about what spells to learn, a Monster finds Izuku and Izuku gets Katsuki to safety,

On to the story:

Inko Midoriya wept as she looked at her little boys grave stone. She remembered the argument she had with him about Magic. She remembered the black book she hadn't been able to read. She knew there was something wrong. Her eyes glistened and red streaks were on her face as tears leaked down into the now pouring rain. It seemed fitting that the sun wouldn't shine without her sons glowing smile on this day. There had been no body.

Inko was grabbed into a tight hug by Mitsuki. The green haired mother bawled into her friends chest. Slowly Mitsuki lead Inko to the Bakugou's car. They had offered the grieving mother a ride so she wouldn't have to drive on her own.

Masaru Bakugo put his hand on his sons shoulder. Softly, the father whispered in his ear. "Take your time. Say what you need to say. We'll be here for you."

The rain pelted the mans back as he walked away. Katsuki Bakugou's fist tightened. His jaw clenched and he stiffly walked up to the gravestone.

In bold letters were Izuku's tombstone.

Izuku Midoriya

A son, a brother, a nephew

He will be a Hero in our Hearts

xxxx-xxxx

Katsuki Bakugou crouched, lifted his hand and traced the name.

"I know your alive. I know whatever took you was Magic. I don't know why or how, but I know you won't give up. I don't know when you'll come back, but I'll wait, brother. I know that you'll make your own way. So, show what you're made of! If you can hear me somehow with Magic, then get stronger! You've got to come back. I can feel it in my bones. The Monsters you always talked about, the ones you warned me about, they're coming. I know it wasn't a fluke that one came upon us Izuku. So come home soon okay? I'll make sure Auntie Inko is safe for you too. Don't worry about us here." His voice trembled as he spoke. Red eyes glistened and his jaw softened. Rain hit his face and his body relaxed. "Survive."

With that, Katsuki stood and walked to his family car.

Ochaco Uraraka walked up to a lone gravestone after leaving her parents at the gate of the cemetery.

She had learned about the ceremony having happened only three days ago. She had only met him face to face once and spoke to him a few times over the past few days. The young girl only knew about it because a boy named Katsuki Bakugou had texted her by using Izuku's phone to ask her to call him. She had been told where to find his gravestone.

She inhaled deeply. The sky was black with dark clouds. A single tear drop fell to the ground as she stared at the name of her best friend. She had no friends before him. Her family was poor enough that everybody who learned about her seemed to just pity her. They would never really be her friends.

A single beep of her phone saw a single text message from the boy who had told her about Izuku.

Hey, R U goin Hero?

Inko looked into the red eyes of her godson. Mitsuki looked worriedly between the two. "What do you need Katsuki?"

Red eyes narrowed into hers. He frowned. "I need to go into Izuku's room."

"Why do you need to go into his room? You won't find anything in there." Inko frowned at the blonde.

Katsuki shook his head. He laughed. "Izuku had plans for plans. And he had even more plans for those plans. He had contingencies for everything. I may have broken my relationship with Izuku when he didn't have a Quirk, but I was there when he learned how to use Magic, even when you and my old hag couldn't accept it. I saw him Summon a Wolf with a drop of blood. I saw him reading and taking notes. I know how he found and had those animals accept him. I know he practiced Magic in the house when you talked to my mom about all the accidents in your house." Katsuki's smile turned small and a sad expression came across his face. "Even I don't know what he planned for, but I can bet he learned from both his Summons and The Grimoire."

Inko stood straight. Her eyes went wide. "Did you say The Grimoire?" She walked straight up to Katsuki and put both her hands on his shoulders. "Katsuki, what was the title of the book. Tell me it isn't!"

"It is Auntie!"

Inko stumbled back and walked in a daze to her living room couch. Numbly she sat and put her hands in her lap. "Auntie! What's wrong?"

Inko was pale and she started to pale. "Mitsuki. Can you go in my closet and look for a small wooden chest. Inside is a silver key with a small emerald at its base which is held by a silver chain. C-can you bring it to me? P-Please?"

A few minutes later Mitsuki came to the living room. Inko gently took the box and lifted the lid. Inko's mouth opened slightly and the Bakugou's could see tears in her eyes. "Come here Katsuki."

Inko stood. "I knew Magic was real. I always have." Her face dropped and tears were in her eyes. "I wish it wasn't. The tales. The stories. I tried to keep my Izuku safe." She put the chain around his neck. Both women looked at the key. The emerald gem shifted in shape and the color faded to clear and then it glowed red. In its place a crimson ruby took it's place.

A wistful expression came upon Inko. "Congratulations Katsuki. You're the new Warden of the Japan Monster Prisons."
