We are finally returning to Neptune. You could say Act 1 is over and Act 2 begins. You could say that the story is finally starting to take off.

Chapter 7

= place Grand Magic Zone: Ultime-Volcano Mountain Trail =

In the air, Neptune and Majekondo began to descend to the ground. On the way down, several volcanoes were seen spilling lava.

"We're falling! And I can't change! Majekondo, do something or we'll both drown in lava! Or we'll burn! Does anything happen to people who fall into LAVA!" - Neptune shouted to Majekondo.

"Speak for yourself." - Majekondo replied back in her basic form. - "I am not limited to share energy in terms of flying and fighting."

As she spoke, she sat down on her half-broom half-spear and began to fly on it. - "Have fun swimming in the lava. I would love to watch you die in it."

Although I don't remember any active volcanoes in Spade. Well, she won't survive anyway.

"Please do not! I don't want to die like this!" - Neptune shouted. - "Anybody help!"

But there was no one around to help her.

It's over. - she thought. And all her life flashed through her head.

"Do not give up." -the voice in her head said.

I hear voices now. Oh cool. Now I'm definitely dead.

"You do not hear voices, but I speak telepathically to you. Now concentrate and try to summon mana into your body, then imagine a springboard or barrier or whatever that will keep you from falling into the lava." - said the voice.

I don't even know what mana is.

"You've done this before. Just try it. I know you can do it."

What the hell, I'll try. Not that I have a better idea. - After which Neptune began to concentrate. She sensed all this mana and began to accumulate it. At the same time, she began to imagine a slide and it began to appear just above the lava. In the last second, it grew large enough that Neptune landed on the ground. Unfortunately, this did not reduce her speed, and during landing she destroyed her clothes and suffered several light wounds.

"Oww, oww. At least I'm alive. " - Neptune said to herself, getting up and dusting herself off the dust - "Now just find out how to get back home and it will be OK. I did something like that before."

"You don't think I'll let you do that." - Majekondo said, flying down on her broomstick.
"Do you want to get your butt again, Majekondo?"

"Ha-ha-ha-ha. It's so cute. Do you really think you have a chance with me? Now, without the power of a goddess, in my realm." - Then she opened her grimoire and started chanting a spell. - „Poison magic: poisonous spears" - and spears made of poison began to appear around her. With a wave of their hand, they all flew towards Neptune. She instinctively tried to summon her katana, but in this dimension she couldn't. When she understood this, she tried to avoid the attack eggs, but it was too late. The spears cut her right hand, left leg, left cheek and pierced her right side. There were purple poison marks around each wound. However, despite her injuries, she still stood.

The next moment she saw Majekondo flying towards her. This time, she decided to use the mane and created a barrier in front of her. This one, however, was quickly shattered and Neptune was thrown several meters back.

OK, lady, you contact me telepathically. Maybe you have some other advice because I WILL DIE soon! - Neptune thought trying to get up.

"Cover yourself with mana. This way you will increase your physical abilities and slow down the development of the poison in your body. Then run to the cave. I will guide you."

Neptune did as the mysterious voice said and felt an immediate surge of strength.

„Mana skin. But how?" - Majekondo said in surprise, lowering her guard, which Neptune used and ran to the cave.

"Come back here!" - Majekondo screamed.

"Be careful, or I'll listen to you." - Neptune replied, continuing towards the cave. The deeper she went, the hotter it got, her wounds stung, and she felt weaker and weaker by losing a lot of blood. During the escape, she headed where the mysterious voice of told her, Majekondo all the time was right behind her. She finally find-

a dead end!

"I must have made the wrong turn." - Neptune said. She tried to turn back immediately. Only to see Majkondo waiting with a smirk on his face.

"DID you turn the wrong turn depends on the perspective. It was very good for me. I can finally finish you off. And this time no miracle will save you anymore."

"Run towards the wall and don't stop."

And she ran towards the wall without thinking about the consequences. The moment she was about to hit the wall she passed through.

On the other side, she saw a white room with a pedestal on which stood a single book with the sign of Planeptune in the center.

„Hello Neptune. Long time no see."

"Who said that?" Neptune asked confused, looking around.

"On a pedestal. I am sealed in this book." - said the voice from the book.

"How do you know me?"

"I will explain, when the time will be good. Now you need to take the seal off me. This barrier will not last long, and in its current state you have no chance with Majekondo." - she said quickly.

At that moment the room shook. Without thinking, Neptune took the book in her hands and immediately four magic circles appeared from above the book. After a while one of them broke and the book lit up.

"Finished. Now you can use my powers." - the person from the book said.

"Just in time. But what is your name?"

"I am Grimoire."

"Wait, that's the name of the book Majkondo has."

"That's a lot to explain, I'll be happy to answer your questions once we're safe."

Then the room shook again and the ceiling began to crack.

"Hurry, the room is about to collapse!" - Grimoire shouted.

"Okay. What should I do?"

"Just send me the mana and I will transport us to a safe place."

"OKAY. I think." - then she began collecting mana and transferring it to the book.

After a while, Majekondo broke the barrier, screamed - "Poison magic: acid bomb" - and attacked Neptune. At the same time, Grimoire opened a portal. Neptune managed to jump into him before being hit by a spell.

After Majekondo's attack, the room was completely destroyed. The attack burned all walls to the ground.

"DAMN IT!" - Majekondo shouted when she realized that Neptune had escaped her. Then the anger on her face subsided and an ominous smirk appeared on her face instead.

"And so she just prolonged her torment. To cure herself of such poison, she would need at least zero healing skills. It's time to report that the mission was successful." - then jumped on a broom-spear and flew to her master.

A young elf, who looked about 15 years old, was out for a walk in the woods. She has light blue eyes, pink long hair, and a mark on her forehead. She wore a simple white dress tied at the waist and sandals. Her ears, like elves, were pointed. Suddenly she felt a movement in the mana and heard a bang in the distance. Instinctively, she ran in the direction the sound came from. There she found a young girl with purple hair. Her clothes were frayed and her body was full of wounds that were of unnatural color, suggesting that she had been poisoned. In her hands, she was holding a grimoire with a mark she had never seen before.

"Healing magic: Phoenix Feathers Robe" - she said and began to heal the little girl. After healing the most severe injuries, she put her on a piggyback and took her to the village.
