World's Strongest Mysterious Cat Man
Jigoku and Tao are clashing each other with their swords and claws as the hooded cat girl is moving around fast to dodge and hit Jigoku managing to get a few good hits, but the wolf boy was able to trip Tao making her lose balance just for a few seconds for him to tackle her with his shoulder. Tao was able to quickly recover before her back could touch the ground and charge at Jigoku for a slashing barrage which he parries them with his sword, he went for an uppercut after dodging a slash attack. However, Tao's reaction time is faster than Jigoku as she leans backward a little to dodge the fist and jump with both legs bending to the chest and then launch for a double kick to the chest sending Jigoku several feet away.
"Damn, you don't skip leg day, do you?" Jigoku chuckled.
"Yep, Tao's legs are strong for Tao jump high and run fast! Also' what's leg day?" Tao asked making Jigoku sweatdrop.
"Just focus on the sparring match." Jigoku said before charging at Tao.
Jigoku starts spinning around fast like a spinning top with his sword outward to slash at Tao who jumps over him, but he saw that coming and immediately stop spinning and reach out his hand to grab Tao by the tail and starts swinging her around like a rag towel and threw her to a tree. Tao land on the length of the tree with her feet and hiss as she decided to show her boyfriend who serious she can be by leaping on the tree and blitz toward Jigoku with her fastest speed, Jigoku quickly brought up his sword as a shield to block Tao quick, incoming attack though Tao kept on attacking in all directions until Jigoku was force on one knee.
"Okay, now you're asking for it." Jigoku growled, decided to get serious as well and closes his eyes to concentrate to find his power and felt it.
"Blazblue!" Jigoku shouted bursting blue aura.
"Oh, you're so shiny and awesome. Meow!" Tao squealed.
"And you're about to taste the fishy smell of defeat." Jigoku declared.
Jigoku blitzes with one fist aiming for the face as Tao is able to dodge that and a sword slash attack, soon the couple enter a speed barrage clash of sword vs claws creating some shockwaves around them and they seems to be evenly match in speed but it appears Jigoku has the strength advantage as he is pushing Tao back a foot or two from each blow. One last strike from Jigoku made Tao stumble back and fell on her butt, she saw Jigoku was still coming at her with another attack and roll out of the way for the sword to pierce the ground.
"Chaos Blade" Jigoku unleashed the dark-red flying slash attack as Tao manages to dodge it.
Jigoku appear next to Tao swinging his sword at her as she does her best to dodge them though there are four cut holes on her outfit now and one attack was narrowly close to her face.
"Uh, Good-Wolvy, Tao thinks you're taking this training a little too serious." Tao exclaimed.
"Or maybe you're just goofing off like an idiot." Jigoku growled as his eyes glow a little red.
Jigoku charges at Tao with clash his sword against Tao's razor-sharp claws forcing her on the defense as she tries to fend off the onslaught, notices something a little different with Jigoku as he fights almost like the way he is fighting is like he's a monster or something. Then Tao got sent flying and crashing to a tree when Jigoku land a fatal attack on her, Tao groans in pain as she tries to get back up but flinches from the pain of her right arm.
"Ow, that really hurt. Meow." Tao winced.
Jigoku saw the blood coming from Tao's arm and his eyes widen realizing that he did that to his girlfriend and look down at his sword seeing a small stain of Tao's blood, he drops the sword and run to Tao and the Blazblue power quickly disappear.
"Tao, I am so sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you so much!" Jigoku apologized as he hugs Tao a little tightly.
"It's okay. Tao knows Good-Wolvy didn't mean to go crazy in sparring match, Tao's arm hurt but it's only a little scratch." Tao assured to her lover that she is okay.
"Damn, that Blazblue power is an amazing power but it gets me into the fight too much like all I want to do was fight and nothing more. I better be careful of how I use that power or else I may end up hurting innocent people." Jigoku stated, looking at his sword and wonder just how strong this power really is.
"Good-Wolvy worry too much, Good-Wolvy needs to think of how much good that power can be use and how much more awesome is make you." Tao pointed out as she kisses him on the cheek.
"Now, let's go home because Tao is hungry, and Tao believes it's lunch time!" Tao smiled.
Jigoku laughs of seeing Tao always in her positive mood no matter how bad things may get, she somehow always knows how to cheer him up whenever he feels in a bad mood and such. He's really glad to have that crazy, funny cat girl as his girlfriend because he wasn't sure how his life would be if they never met and to be honest, he doesn't want to know as the mere thought scares him.
"Good-Wolvy, come on! I'm going to eat your lunch if you don't get a move on!" Tao called out.
"Hey, save some grub for me." Jigoku smiled as he gets up and ran after Tao, making sure she doesn't eat more food which include his own lunch.
Unknown to him, a mysterious figure has been watching Jigoku from a higher view and watched the whole thing with Jigoku using his Blazblue power and how he almost hurt Tao badly like that.
"Umm, looks like that kid needs help in controlling that power." The man stated.
(Later)
"Aw, lunch sure was tasty today." Tao sighed as she rests her head on Jigoku's shoulder as they are sitting on a tree.
"It sure was." Jigoku nodded.
"Hey Good-Wolvy, what do you feel like doing today?" Tao asked.
"I'm not sure, for now let just take a little nap under this tree." Jigoku said.
"Okay, Tao will sleep now." Tao yawned and fell asleep.
Suddenly Jigoku's instinct kick in telling him that something strong and dangerous is nearby, he looks around trying to find this dangerous presence but couldn't find any sign of a person around here. So, Jigoku decided to go walk around the area to find it as he gentle take Tao off his shoulder and let her body rest on a tree so she can continue her nap, then gave her a quick peek on the lips before leaving to find the dangerous presence.
Jigoku look around the area behind some trees and rocks he could find though no sign of whatever this dangerous presence his instinct was warning him about.
"Hey, I know you're here! So, you might as well come out before I force you to come out myself." Jigoku demanded as his hand is close to Bloodedge, ready to fight.
"You know, you could have asked nicely." A man's voice said behind Jigoku.
Jigoku quickly reacted and swing his sword down to strike the strange but find that he only strikes the ground.
Jigoku was confuse at first until he look up seeing something coming at him from above, but was too late to react as he was hit hard by a pair of tails sending him flying a few feet away and on his back to the ground.
"You have good instinct, a very sharp one too, but your reaction time is slow." The man scolded.
"Who the fuck are you tell me if I'm slow?" Jigoku asked as he gets back up and got a good look at the stranger.
This man is a two tailed, black and white cat, who stands upright like a human being. He wears a jacket similar to the Kaka tribe's jacket, but with an Eastern motif and a cut in the back where his two tails poke out. He also wears an eyepatch on his right eye. He has two swords striped to his back.
"Uh, don't think I've seen a cat like you around here." Jigoku said.
"Because I don't actually live here, I just come by here once and a while to check on how everyone is doing. I heard word about this village taking in a demihuman wolverine who wants to fight the world's strongest and I wanted to see it for myself." The cat man explained.
"Yeah, well, you're giving off a dangerous scent right now and I don't think I can trust you like that." Jigoku glared.
"You'll have to forgive this old man for being caution when it comes to facing a new warrior, I can tell you got lots of potential though it makes me wonder how you intend to use that potential." The cat man said.
"I can tell you that I'm going to become the world's strongest and use that strength make sure no one would ever have to suffer through the same pain as I went through a year ago." Jigoku determined, pointing his sword at the cat man.
"Is that right? And you really think just brute strength alone will be enough to make you feel invincible?" The cat man asked.
"Why don't you prepare yourself and feel my strength firsthand, you damn cat." Jigoku taunted.
"Well, that's actually the reason why I'm here." The cat man smirked.
"And for your information, my name is Jubei." Jubei revealed his name.
"Like I give a damn about your name once I lay the smackdown on your face." Jigoku proclaimed.
"Bold words from a young man, come and show me what you got." Jubei dared.
Jigoku charges at Jubei with his sword down close to the ground and swings it upward to the head though Jubei easily lean sideway to dodge the attack, Jigoku swing his sword again though this time Jubei jumps back a few feet. Jigoku was getting a little angry and start swinging his sword at Jubei in a slashing barrage, but no matter how fast he was swinging his sword not one single attack is even touching Jubei in the slightest as the short cat man just dodges them with ease. The wolverine boy saw that he wasn't getting with this as he can tell this old cat man is more than what he appears to be, he tries to think of a different approach for his attack in hopes to get Jubei to drop his guard then he thought of an idea.
"Your swordsmanship is self-taught, and I got to say not half bad." Jubei commented as he jumps over Jigoku to the other side about five feet away.
"However, you still lack what it means to wield a weapon as you have make it like the extension of your body and more control in yourself." Jubei lectured.
"Oh yeah, how's this for control?" Jigoku asked sarcastically as he charge at Jubei.
Jigoku thrust his sword at Jubei's head hoping to give the cat guy a second eyepatch, but Jubei move his head aside though that's what Jigoku was hoping for as he lean his body down and swipe kick Jubei's leg to make him trip. However, that plan prove to fail as Jubei jump over Jigoku's leg and spin his body around once to smack Jigoku's face with his tail.
"A good attempt to catch an opponent off guard if he wasn't a more experience fighter with a level head." Jubei lectured again.
"Okay, now you're just pissing me off." Jigoku slashed at Jubei again only to be slashing air as the cat man keeps on dodging him.
"Why don't you fucking fight back! I thought you wanted to see how strong I am!" Jigoku angered.
"You're gonna have to try and make me fight you seriously and so far, your strength isn't that impressive." Jubei mocked before he headbutt Jigoku making the teenager fighter stumble back.
"Okay, maybe this will make you take me serious." Jigoku growled as his body starts to glow.
"(Here is comes.)" Jubei thought smirked.
"Blazblue!" Jigoku shouted, activating his power again.
"Okay, old man, let see if this will wake you up." Jigoku taunted before charging at Jubei again.
Jigoku swing his sword at Jubei and the impact causes a big explosion of a dirt cloud, the dust settle a moment or two later and Jigoku gasp upon seeing that Jubei has actually block the attack with one of his swords and hadn't move an inch from the spot he is standing on as they are in the center of a crater.
"Hmm, not bad. You certainly got power, but I can sense the lack of control." Jubei said before pushing Jigoku away.
"Okay, that was unexpected." Jigoku admitted that he didn't think about anyone being able to block that attack.
"Life is always full of unexpected things, kid. You never know what kind of people you'll meet or how big the world really is, it's always important to prepare yourself what the worst." Jubei stated as he points his sword at Jigoku.
"You also have to be sure your mind is calm in any situation even when things look grim and something bad is happening, you must never let the negative emotions cloud your judgement. A lot of good men died that way." Jubei explained.
"Oh, don't worry, I only got one thing on my mind right now and that is to make you into a fur coat!" Jigoku roared.
"Kids these days." Jubei sighed.
"Alright, come and give me your best shot." Jubei dared.
"You ask for it, old man!" Jigoku charged at Jubei.
Jigoku clash his sword against Jubei and start swinging wild with both hands holding onto the handle as Jubei only blocks each and every attack with his sword with one hand only, the collusion between Jigoku furious offense verse Jubei greatly defense has cause shockwaves to burst from the two and the crater having cracks in it as well.
"How about this?" Jigoku stabbed his sword to the ground close to Jubei.
"Dark Eruption" Jigoku blasted a dark-blue aura blast from the ground right under Jubei's feet that sent him flying in the air.
Jigoku quickly went after him not wanting to give his opponent the chance to recover as he reel his arm back and swing his sword at Jubei slicing him in two, or at least he thought he did when Jubei suddenly fades away into nothing right before Jigoku's eyes.
"What the…?" Jigoku shocked.
"Afterimage, pretty cool technique for quick evasion." Jubei explained, appearing right behind Jigoku.
"A good way to distract your opponent when they less expected." Jubei said and strike Jigoku down as his body slams face first to the ground.
"Okay, you're just pissing me off!" Jigoku pushed himself up and unleash some flying slash attacks at Jubei.
Jubei easily dodges them in midair and made his way toward Jigoku then blitz right behind him.
"It's over, kid." Jubei said.
"Huh?" Jigoku puzzled of what the old cat man said.
Then suddenly his body slash pain as he is being attack by dozens and dozens of blade attacks all over as he screams in pain, then he fell forward as the dark blue aura disappear that the Blazblue power deactivate.
"Damn it, how are you so strong?" Jigoku asked groaning in pain.
"Because I've been training through most of my life, and we got a lot of work to do." Jubei said as he walks away.
"What… what do you mean?" Jigoku confused.
"Man, you're slow. What I mean is that I'll be training you in combat for quite some time, the fight we just had was just a test to see what I'll be working with." Jubei explained shocking Jigoku.
"Well, see you tomorrow, bright and early." Jubei said walking away.
"Okay, that happen." Jigoku said.

Well, it looks like Jigoku is going to be trained by the legendary cat warrior Jubei and the training this kitty cat has in mind will definitely push Jigoku through the limits as it will be painful and he'll be sweating a lot too. Jigoku will see that having Jubei train him will be a good thing as he'll need every chance to get stronger for the future danger against Carol.
Next chapter will be a little interesting as Jigoku will visit Doctor Litchi Faye Ling for a medical checkup, and something more will happen between them too.
