Class 1-A meets...
Chapter nine: Cool big bro
The audience that had been summoned by the Realmcrafter Talespinner69 had just finished watching the latest episode of the realm that they had been summoned to watch. Each episode saw class 1-A meet one of the members of one of their classmates, and all in all it has been a rather heartwarming show thus far, all things considered. Right now, everyone was settling down as they waited for Tale and Kotaro to get the next episode ready.
"Wow Baku-bro," Kirishima said to Bakugo, "Your dad seems like a pretty chill guy."
Bakugo gave an indifferent shrug. "...Well he's always been the more level-headed out of my parents, I have to admit."
"You wanna repeat that, brat?" Mitsuki snapped.
"Well considering that you blamed Katsuki getting kidnapped by villains on Katsuki himself," Inko began in a disappointed tone, "You can not honestly blame him for thinking so poorly of you." Inko then gave a gentle shake of her head. "Seriously, Mitsuki, that is one of the worst things I have ever heard you've done. Why, if Izuku was kidnapped by villains, I would be seeing said villains locked up while giving all the hugs Izuku needs to recover from such an ordeal."
Gesturing to Inko, La Brava said while looking at Mitsuki, "Now you see? That's what a mother should say about her son getting kidnapped."
"You make me sick," Stain growled at the ashy-haired woman.
Mitsuki would have complained about villains trash-talking her, but as if anticipating what Mitsuki was going to say, Toga said, "Both Stainy-kun and that girl midget were never members of the League of Villains."
Down in front of the big theater screen, Kotaro turned to regard Tale. "Wow, There's all sorts of people in the world, huh?"
Kotaro stopped short when he saw that Tale was on the phone. "Are you serious, Lego?" Tale said, "All of that really happened?"
"Hey, who are you talking to?" Aizawa asked from where he sat in the theater room.
Turning to look at the underground hero, Tale said, "I'm on the phone with Legomasterlord. You all remember him, right?"
"Didn't he appear during the show with the alternate versions of me and the other girls in the first year hero course?" Itsuka asked, a curious look on her face.
"He's not coming back here, is he?" Monoma asked, clearly worried.
"He's not coming here, but yeah he was the guy who showed up in one of the other shows," Tale replied. Going back to his call, Tale said, "Sorry, my audience was asking who I was on the phone with. Anywho, I'll take a look at the new info." Tale ended the call, put his phone away, took out a pad and began looking info up. The Realmcrafter made some cringing hisses as he looked at what all was coming up.
"...Well hot friggin' damn, he wasn't kidding," Tale said as he put his pad away.
"What happened?" Toshinori asked.
Shrugging, Tale let out a mildly bemused sigh as he said, "My kind just got a LOT of new info on the world you all came from, and it's looking none too good."
"Dare I ask what happened?" Nezu said, looking worried.
Tale sucked in a cringing breath. "...Yeah, most of you won't be liking this. Well first off, at least one city was horrifically wrecked during what could only be described as a total war between the villains and the pro heroes." Many in the audience gasped in shock at such a revelation, mostly the pro heroes. Even most villains in the audience looked troubled, with only Shigaraki being the only person that clearly wasn't bothered.
Nodding a few times, Tale went on, "Yeah. The destruction was so bad that it made at least one pro hero lose heart and decide to quit being a hero and find some other means of employment. And right in front of Uraraka, no less."
"Seriously?" Uraraka replied, looking troubled.
Nodding in confirmation, Tale went on, "Endeavor's reputation got shot to shit by Dabi."
"Yes!" Dabi cheered, "Hell fucking yes! At least there's one bit of good news!"
"Toya, why?!" Endeavor said, looking shocked his own son would be happy about ruining his reputation for real.
Continuing on, Tale said, "Several nomus were able to escape the fighting with Dabi, Spinner, Shigaraki and I think Skeptic, and the nomus are now getting directions from All For One via some sort of messaging quirk bullshit or whatever to head over to Tartarus to liberate him."
"All For One is going to be liberated from Tartarus?!" Toshinori exclaimed, alarming not just himself but most every good guy in the audience. Again, even a number of villains looked troubled by what was revealed, aside from Shigaraki who was actually cheering that his sensei was going to be free.
Nodding, Tale said, "Yeah, things have gotten really messed up in your world, folks." After a few moments passed, Tale had a look of remembrance on his face as he said, "Oh, and there are at least nineteen pro heroes confirmed killed, one of which being Nemuri."
"I WAS KILLED?!" the eighteen only hero exclaimed. Many of the heroes in the audience, pro or otherwise, all looked upset, with some of the hero course girls even starting to cry.
"Oh yeah, I bet this new info will impact a lot of the realms that Tale's kind will be crafting," Kotaro remarked, "Hell, it might find its way into the realm we're watching now."
"Speaking of, the next episode is ready to play," Tale said, prompting the audience to all turn to look at the big theater screen as the next episode in the realm began to play.
...
(Class 1-A meets Natsuo Todoroki (Shoto Todoroki's big brother)
"So we're meeting one of my two older brothers now," Todoroki in the audience remarked.
Sighing in a troubled tone, Endeavor said, "I know that Natsuo is by no means a fan of mine, so I bet he won't be too upset about Toya ruining my reputation."
"He and I might share a high five about it," Dabi remarked casually.
It was late afternoon in a forested area miles from UA high school. The country of Japan was still in a tizzy over how All For One, the most infamous villain in Japan's history, had been able to escape from his confinement in the deepest bowls of Tartarus. As for the villain himself, he was walking through that forested area, holding himself up against trees for support as he had panted in exhaustion.
"He..." Toshinori in the audience began, clearly looking troubled, "...He really did escape."
"Hells fucking yes!" Shigaraki cheered as he pumped a fist into the air, "Sensei is free! But why is he holding himself up against trees like that? What happened to him?"
Shrugging, Hound Dog said, "From the looks of it, I'd say he had just escaped from Tartarus, which is the most fortified and heavily guarded prison for villains in the country. No matter how strong he may be, he's bound to be on the edge of going down after such an ordeal."
Toshinori sighed slightly in relief. "Well there's one bit of good news. Now all that remains is how Endeavor's son Natsuo plays a role here."
"I can't believe that...all of the nomus who liberated me were killed in the process," All For One said as he panted with exhaustion, "I truly am all alone right now. I must regroup with my dear boy Tomura and his allies so that I can recover my strength in safety. Only after that can I take my revenge on All Might, then show Japan as a whole what-"
All For One was cut off when a random car driving through that portion of the forest quickly hit him on accident, running him over and crushing part of his person into some rather large rocks that were sticking out of the ground. After the car came to a stop, Natsuo Todoroki got out of the driver's seat, not even bothering to look at what was in front of him as his focus was solely on the car that pursued him into the woods.
"What the fuck?!" Shigaraki in the audience exclaimed, "Sensei was totally wrecked like a damn scrub?! The fuck is this supposed to be?!"
"I don't think that my little bro is even aware that he wrecked All For One," Dabi pointed out, "He is focused on the mooks that followed him into the woods."
Despite himself, Toshinori couldn't help but chuckle. "I normally do not condone killing, but if the target is All For One, I'd be willing to overlook it, considering what All For One has done."
"Yeah, given that man's reputation, i can't blame you for saying that," Nezu said, with a number of pro heroes nodding in agreement.
Two gang member punks got out of the car that chased Natsuo into the woods while Natsuo took out a pair of meter-long bokken to wield from the back seat of his car, clearly anticipating that he'd have to fight to get out of this mess. "Bring it on, you pussies!" Natsuo shouted angrily in a challenging manner.
"Yo man, just play nice and follow us," the first gangster said, "You can fetch us a nice price from your daddy, you know."
"As much as I'd enjoy seeing my dad get screwed out of a lot of money, like hell I'd give in without a fight!" Natsuo screamed right before he charged at the two gangsters attempting to kidnap him with the intention to hold him ransom for money from Endeavor.
...
An hour later, Natsuo was still in the woods as he talked to some police as he gave them his statement; there were a number of police in that area, as well as some paramedics as Natsuo beat up both of the gangsters that had chased him into the woods, and a few pro heroes as well. Aside from looking mildly banged up, Natsuo was no worse for ware.
"So Natsuo was able to save himself," Todoroki in the audience began, "Beat up his pursuers, and is now giving a statement to the police."
"He also ran over Sensei, the little bitch!" Shigaraki exclaimed.
Dabi, despite himself, couldn't help but laugh. "Hot damn, Natsuo is straight fucking fire in this realm."
After he was done being interviewed, Natsuo was approached by Detective Naomasa. "Excuse me, but that car against the rocks over there is yours, right?"
Looking over to where Naomasa was pointing, Natsuo said, "Yeah, It's mine. Why do you ask? Did I damage it because I was too focused on trying to shake the bastards who were trying to chase me down?"
"Umm, not exactly," Naomasa said, "But you did run what looks to be some homeless guy dressed in a suit into the rocks. You crushed his head and killed him."
"He really did do it, that fucker!" Shigaraki in the audience exclaimed angrily, "He killed Sensei!"
"And without even paying attention," Mr. Compress said, "Similar to how that detestable woman unknowingly killed Overhaul before killing you as well."
Aizawa, his eyes widening with alarm, said, "...Please don't tell me that the civilians in this realm are loads more dangerous than actual villains."
Shrugging, Tale said, "Oh please. I've seen crafted realms that are WAY more outlandish than what is being seen here."
Looking over, Natsuo saw a body laid under a white sheet, with the head area clearly looking crushed and flattened, even though Natsuo couldn't see what was lying under the sheet. Regardless, Natsuo gave a mildly disgusted sounding, "Euuuhhhh," as he saw what had been pointed out to him by Detective Naomasa.
...
Later, Natsuo was making his way over to UA; from what he had been told, he was being hired as a temporary Home Ec teacher, even though he was still a university student. He had been informed that a number of the pro heroes employed as teachers at UA were severely injured in a recent rampage caused by the giant villain Gigantomachia, so until things in that area were covered, Natsuo was essentially going to be watching some high school students.
It helped that Natsuo's university was giving him special credits that will count towards his degree he's trying to earn as part of the deal he was given to work at UA. Looking up at UA as he came to the front entry gate, Natsuo said, "...Wow. It's big."
"Gigantomachia was on a rampage that injured a number of pro heroes that worked at UA?!" Gran Torino in the audience cried out in alarm, looking mildly pissed as well.
"And Natsuo is going to teach Home Ec apparently," Todoroki remarked dryly, "Similar to how Fuyumi is now teaching Sex Ed."
Gesturing to the big screen, Toshinori said, "Although I'm relieved that All For One was dealt with, the reaction that Endeavor's son had to killing him doesn't seem realistic."
"Technically, Natsuo was never told specifically that he killed All For One somehow," Edgeshot pointed out, "In fact, from the looks of it, all of the police and others that were there mistook that most dangerous villain as some random homeless man living in the woods."
...
After making his way into the school, Natsuo was looking around, trying to find the Home Ec classroom. As he wandered, he bumped into two girls on accident, those being Mins and Yaoyorozu from class 1-A, although he had no idea who they were. "Oh, sorry girls," Natsuo said in an apologetic tone, "I'm just lost trying to find the Home Ec classroom."
"Oh yeah, the usual Home Ec teacher is one of the pro heroes who teaches here that got hurt when that giant villain went on a rampage," Yaoyorozu said, "I take it you're the substitute until a more permanent solution is found?"
Nodding once in the affirmative, Natsuo said, "Yeah. I don't suppose you girls can help me find my way?"
Nodding in agreement, Mina said, "Sure, no problem. Follow us." Natsuo nodded in agreement as he proceeded to follow the girls to the Home Ec classroom.
"So Mina and I are the first to meet Todoroki's older brother here," Yaoyorozu in the audience said, "And we're leading him to the Home Ec classroom."
"It was also mentioned that the usual Home Ec teacher was hurt in the rampage of that giant villain," Aizawa pointed out, "Said rampage isn't going to be related to what all that happened in our world as of late, will it?"
Shrugging, Hizashi said, "Who can say, Sho?"
...
Inside of the Home Ec classroom, Natsuo was standing at a stove counter as he was looking over a pot of chili that he was making. In the room with him were Mina and Yaoyorozu, as well as the other girls of class 1-A, plus Aizawa and Hizashi.
"Mmm, smells good," Hizashi said about the chili that Natsuo was cooking, while the loud pro hero rubbed his hands together in eager anticipation.
"Yeah, this is the sample pot of the recipe for chili that I intend to have the classes I teach here today do as their first assignment under me," Natsuo said, "By the way, which class will be the first for me to work with here again?"
"The first class you'll be teaching will be my students in the homeroom class I run here at UA," Aizawa explained, "Class 1-A of the hero course." Gesturing to the girls, Aizawa said, "These girls here are some of my students."
"So that's how everyone will be meeting my older brother here," Todoroki in the audience said, "And Natsuo will be teaching us to make chili."
"Well Home Ec classes do teach cooking skills," Nezu pointed out.
Clapping his hands together, Dabi said, "Well at least he's not flirting with any of Shoto's classmates, unlike what Fuyumi did."
"Luckily he didn't mistake any of the girls for being school staff members," Aizawa said dryly.
"Oh, you're the class 1-A homeroom teacher?" Natsuo said, "Then you ought to know-" Natsuo was cut off when the boys of 1-A all entered the classroom. Natsuo spotted Todoroki next to Izuku and Tenya. "Oi Shoto!" Natsuo called out, "How you bez, lil' bro?"
"Lil' bro?!" some of the other 1-A students exclaimed.
Nodding in the affirmative, Shoto said to his classmates while pointing at Natsuo, "Yeah, that's my older brother Natsuo."
"Well let's hope this older sibling won't try to make out with any of us," Dark Shadow said dryly as he popped out of Tokoyami.
"Dark Shadow, Todoroki's older sister has apologized on several occasions for making moves on Sato without realizing he's a student," Tokoyami scolded, "Now come on. From the looks of it Todoroki's older brother is going to have us make chili."
Pumping a fist into the air, some of the boys, as well as Dark Shadow and Hizashi, all let out happy and excited cheers.
FIN
"Well at least Natsuo is off to a better start than Fuyumi got," Dabi remarked dryly, "And hey. He's got them making chili. That's pretty dope."
Huffing in an annoyed tone, Endeavor said, "I'm still upset that you apparently ruin my reputation in our world."
"If it makes you feel any better," Dabi said with a hint of knowing sarcasm in his tone, "Me doing that is the only bit of news that I agree with."
"With all due respect Endeavor," Kotaro began, "Tale's kind as a whole isn't all that fond of you."
"I still can't believe that All For One might very well escape from Tartarus," Toshinori said in a troubled tone, "Not to mention what all else occurred." A lot of the audience all looked very much troubled by what had been made available to them, Nemuri especially so.
Turning to look at Kotaro, Tale said, "You know, a lot of what happened in their world leaves me feeling worried about the future, both for their world and for how crafted realms are going to be impacted by what all had occurred."
Nodding in grim agreement, Kotaro said, "Yeah, this isn't going to be pleasant."
END OF CHAPTER
Author's notes;
Yeah, chapter 296 of the manga changed up a LOT of stuff. Hell, it even changed up a lot of what I had planned for this story; I was originally going to do Tsuyu's dad Ganma for this chapter (so in a way fencer29 was right), but the new developments in the manga required me to redo a lot of what I had planned for the Ganma chapter.
The developments also changed a fair bit of what I have planned for future works, including one that focused on the villains, mainly Dabi, Spinner and Toga. But that won't come at least until I do the remaining named family members for this story, so Kyoka's mom, Todoroki's dad and other brother, and Tsuyu's family that hasn't been covered yet will have their time in the spotlight before I get started on that villain story.
Btw, Legomasterlord was okay with me featuring him here in this chapter, although it was only a mention and not a physical appearance. Anyway, anyone care to guess who will be next?
