Chapter 9
No POV
When they reached Apollo's temple in Greece there was suprisingly no tourists.
"Weird..." Artemis whispered under her breath.
Suddenly a great beam of light eminated from the center of the temple.
The four immortals screamed, and covered their eyes.
When they opened their eyes standing before them was a godess bathed in golden light. She seemed to have the atributes of every god in existence.
She was as beutiful as Aphrodite, as scary as Ares, and she looked as smart as Athena. She had a golden laurel set in her dark brown hair. Her eyes were golden like Kronos's with the caramel skin tone of Gaea.
She was floating on air with a white dress fanning out around her, all while she was still eminating golden light.
The four immortals were stunned. There was only one goddess who was depicted like this, and she had only showed herself to others once, millenia ago when a god faded before his time. She brought him back.
"L-lady Chaos?" Artemis stuttered, immeditley going to her knees, her niece and nephews following sweet.
"Yes. It is I, the creator, the bringer of all life. Rise my children."They couldn't believe it. They truly couldn't believe it.
"I see that you got my message." They nodded numbly.
"Good, good, very good. Now it took me 700 years to realize, but this god entered my realm way before his time!" She snapped her fingers and another deity radiating golden lught appeared. Only no one had seen this god for hundreds of years.
"Now, I am here to correct it. He wasn't supposed to fade for at least another Milenia, and even when he does she will enter it with the moon goddess, and certainly not alone!
Now I must take my leave, but... stay safe my children."
And with that she dissapeared as myseteriouly as she came, leaving an uncouncious sun god in her wake.
All his family could do was look at his uncouncious form, ubsorbing what had just happened.
It was hours later that Apollo awoke in Asclepius's temple which also served as a healing center in the sun gods absence.
When Apollo woke up he was surrounded by his sister, and children.
"A-Art-y-y? A-A-Asc-sc-scle-pius? W-W-W-W-i-i-i-ll? K-K-Kay-yl-la? A-Au-Aus-Aust-Austi-Austin?" He rasped, his voice being sore for not being used in almost 700 years.
"What ha-happend?" He asked, as he sat up, holding his head.
Immeditaly his family enveloped him an a hug.
"You've been dead for 700 years." Artemis whispered, crying.
"I-I've... what?" He wondered if Artemis had hit her gead recently.
"It... it doesn't matter now. All that matters is that you're home safe." Kayla had her head buried in her fathers shoulder.
Everyone nodded, and finally, finally for the first time in a long while Artemis felt that everything would be okay.
