It was the afternoon on New Years Eve. Alexis had just arrived at the arena for a house show. She changed into her gear and was walking to catering. Suddenly she was pulled into another hallway.
"Hey." Randy said smiling.
"Hi."
"Give me a kiss." They kissed. "I've been thinking about that."
"Me to."
"Going to the bar later with everyone for New Years?"
"Yeah."
"Me to." "How was your time with your family?"
"Good." "Alison's really excited to come on the road with me."
"Do I get to meet her when she comes?"
"If you want to."
"I want to."
"Ok." "See you later."
"Bye." She walked away
A few hours later everyone was at the bar. They were all drunk. Alexis and Randy were playing pool. He was walking around her to take his shot, leaned down by her ear and whispered.
"I can't wait anymore baby, I need you."
"Now?"
"My car." "Still want my candy cane?"
"Oh yeah."
The ball was about to drop. Melina found Maria.
"Do you know where Alexis is?" She asked.
"No." "Come to think of it, I don't see Randy." "I wonder what they're doing."
"Probably each other." They laughed.
"Why are they torturing themselves?" "It's so obvious they want to be together."
"I know."
Alexis and Randy were in the backseat of the car having sex. He was sitting down. She was facing him. His hands were under her skirt squeezing her ass.
"A week without you, without this, I was going crazy." Randy said. "Fuck you feel so good." "Uhnn." He groaned.
"Oh my god, Randy, Randy, ohhhh." She moaned giving in.
"God damn, Alexis."
After a few seconds she got off of him.
"Have you seen my panties?"
"Right here." He said holding them up.
"Thanks.
After Randy did up his jeans he checked his watch. "We missed the ball drop."
"Whoops."
"Happy New Year."
"Happy New Year."
"Do you know what my resolution is?"
"What?"
"I'm gonna get you to spend the night with me."
"No you're not."
"Yes I am." He kissed her.
A few days later she was at a Starbucks getting a latte. She handed the cashier her debit card.
"It's taken care of." The cashier said.
"By who?"
"The police officer at that table." She said motioning.
Alexis went back to his table. He was in uniform. He was very tall. He had brown eyes and short blonde hair. He looked to be about her age.
"Thank you officer." She said.
"My pleasure." He said in a thick southern accent. "I'm a big fan." "My name's Lucas Warren." "It's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you to."
"Will you still be in town tomorrow night?"
"Yes."
"Would you like to go out to dinner?" "I know a great place."
Alexis immediately thought of Randy but they had agreed to see other people. "Sure." They exchanged numbers. "See you tomorrow night."
That night Alexis was in her her room hanging with Maria. Alexis got a text. It read.
I hope you and Maria are having fun. I'm going to bed. I just wanted to tell you goodnight. - Randy
She smiled.
"Randy?" Maria asked.
"Yeah."
"When are you guys gonna admit that your boyfriend and girlfriend?"
"We're not."
"Yeah right."
"We're not." "I have a date tomorrow night with a cop as a matter of fact."
"Alexis you can't do that to Randy."
"I'm not doing anything to him." "He's not my boyfriend."
"He's gonna be pissed."
"No he won't."
