Hello, everyone. Your girl's back to update another chapter for you all. Kalego's researching any leads to his hidden past while Sicirue has a feeling that Sullivan and Opera may have something to do with his friend's memories being blocked. I don't own the canon characters as they rightfully belong to their real owners while I only own my OCS.

P.S. I've downloaded Grammarly to help with my writing.

"This is delicious! Thank you for taking me here, Grandpa, Opera-san!" Iruma said as he digs in his food.

The restaurant that his family took him is an all-you-can-eat restaurant. It didn't take long for Iruma to grab his plate and eat as much as he could. The food here was said to be delicious. Iruma could see why as it felt heavenly in his mouth. The restaurant is also said to be popular with demons who have eating problems. Iruma soon began to have many rounds as he ate more like he usually did before.

"I'm so glad you're enjoying yourself, Iruma-kun. Grandpa absolutely made sure the food here will be perfect for your tummy," Sullivan said with a smile.

The blue-haired boy ate a lot of the food with many of the waiters and other customers looking in complete shock at how a small boy like him could even manage to consume that much food within half of an hour since Lord Sullivan brought his grandson and butler here.

"How can a child that small could eat much?"

"I wonder if that's how his magic works?"

"He's going to eat the whole restaurant by the time any of us finish our first plates!"

"Well, this restaurant is said to be popular with anyone having trouble eating."

The blue-haired boy finishes his thirty-six plate before going back to the buffet to get more. Iruma enjoyed his dinner so much that it made him forget about his horrible parents. His grandfather and Opera knew him better than his own parents ever could. His adoptive family knew how to cheer him up after being so sad for a while. Iruma was glad that he had a new family that truly loves him for him no matter what.

"Mommy, can I have a piece of that cake for dessert?" A little girl asks her mother.

Iruma turns to his right to see a family of three sitting peacefully at their own table. There was a mother, a father, and a tiny daughter. They all look so happy together. It was just them alone in the world where no one else matters since they only have each other to love.

"Of course, honey. I think deserve it after eating all your vegetables," The mother said kindly to her daughter.

The little girl smile at her parents. Happy to have such wonderful parents who love and care about her no matter what.

For a belief second, Iruma saw himself as a small child with his parents all happy together. Imagining himself as a happy family with his parents at the dinner table while his parents laugh and smile like they normally would while Iruma listens to their laughter that was generally filled with joy and love for him and each other.

But the blue-haired boy was pulled back to the harsh reality of where his parents sold him for riches beyond their years. Iruma wondered why did he imagine such a world with his parents. They never took him to fancy restaurants to eat out for dinner. Nor did they took him out to eat dinner at all. Iruma began to worry that he might becoming selfish of wanting a happy life with his biological parents. He felt horrible for even wanting such a terrible wish since he already has his grandfather and Opera by his side no matter what.

"Iruma-sama, are you alright? You have been gone for a few minutes, sir," Opera said concerning for the boy.

Hearing Opera's voice, Iruma turns to look at them with a smile on his face to ease his beloved butler from worrying them any further out of guilt and shame. Iruma felt he didn't deserve the love and kindness that was given to him by Sullivan and Opera who opened their hearts and home to him without any hesitation. He was truly like his parents more than he thought.

"I'm fine, Opera-san. I was just thinking which ham I should try next," Iruma lied. He could feel his insides becoming tight after lying to Opera.

However, Opera can already tell that Iruma wasn't being honest with them. After all, they're helping their master in raising his grandchild, so they'll be able to tell when their beloved Iruma is lying.

But Opera wasn't mad. They knew the reason behind his lie. When they came to check on Iruma to see if he was doing alright after being gone for a while, Opera saw their tiny master looking at that family. They immediately knew what Iruma was thinking of. Despite them and Sullivan trying to create a loving and safe environment for Iruma, it's not enough to help him heal from the abuse he went through from his parents.

"Yes, I've heard their ham is very remarkable. Perhaps you should try the Hell-Red one. It's one of their best ones here, sir," Opera said as they led Iruma to the buffet, and away from the family.

Iruma followed his beloved butler and parental figure, only to look back at the happy family for the last time before leaving for the buffet.

Town square

Iruma gasp in amazement as he look at the light that made the town square look very beautiful. Sullivan could sense that Iruma wasn't still happy, so he and Opera decided to take the boy to the heart of the town before he goes to bed.

"It's really pretty, Grandpa," Iruma said with a blush.

"But of course. Having a little night of the town at this time is something my precious grandson can enjoy," Sullivan said as he help his grandson out of the carriage.

"Thank you," Iruma said as he looks everywhere around him.

The lights around the town square made it look like something out of a picture of a dark novel. A few demons played some music with others dance to it. Iruma wanted to enjoy despite he has no idea of how to dance. There were even a few shops open for a few more hours before they officially closed for the night. Some children were playing. And finally, a few other demons were just enjoying the night.

"Moments like this, almost make me forget that this a world of demons where I'm the only human here. Seeing everyone like this, makes me realize how much humans and demons can more alike than I thought," Iruma thought as he walks around with his grandfather and Opera right behind him.

A few boys took a girl's doll from her and ran while laughing at her. However, they happen to run past Iruma who took the doll from them and return it to its' owner. The little girl smiles at Iruma and hugged him before returning to her family.

"Still, I wonder if there's a peaceful way to bring the two specials together. The only reason I can manage to get along with everyone here, it's only because not many of them know that I'm human," The blue-haired boy thought.

In the corner of his left eye, Iruma saw a shop with fruits at the front. Despite already having dinner and dessert, Iruma couldn't help but crave for a fruit.

"Hey, Grandpa, can I have a fruit from there?" Iruma asks, pointing at the shop.

"Of course, my lovely grandchild. Anything for you," Sullivan said as he lifted Iruma up in his arms.

Once they were close to the shop, Iruma had a hard time choosing which fruit to get. They all look so delicious to eat. However, he didn't keep the shopkeeper here all night, so he decided to pick one that was pink and had purple spots on it.

"Iruma-sama, are you sure you want that one?" Opera said concerning.

"Yes. Why? Has it gone bad, Opera-san?" Iruma asks them.

"No. It's actually a fruit that allows whoever that eats to remember what it was like in their mother's womb," Opera explain as carefully as possible.

Hearing this fruit can make him remember what it was like to be in his mother's womb before he was born, Iruma was having seconds thoughts about buying this. But he wanted to know if she had actually wanted him or not.

"Yes, I'm sure I want this one," Iruma said.

Both Sullivan and Opera look at each other since they didn't want their precious Iruma to be hurt by being reminded of the people who used to raised him didn't even want him in their lives. But if Iruma wanted to try to face the past, then they'll be by his side.

An hour later

Soon enough, Iruma was getting sleepily after being out all night. Sullivan stayed with Iruma while Opera went to get the carriage ready. The blue-haired boy had eaten his fruit that long ago, but he didn't show any signs of remembering his time in his mother's womb.

Some of the shops began to close and many demons soon turn in for the night as well. Given how late it is, Sullivan thought about giving his grandson a pardon for not showing up for school tomorrow if the boy didn't felt like it.

While they waited, Iruma had managed to finally fall asleep in his grandfather's arms. Slipping into the world of dreams.

Darkness was all around him. It was dark but warm at the same time. There's nothing here but him. He couldn't see what he looks like. But he wonders what's going to happen to him now. The place he's in has been getting smaller within time.

He kicked to feel if there's something else here with him.

Suddenly, he felt something on the other side. Something big but gentle. It was that big person. She sounds very nice. She's very warm whenever she does something like this. He loves her. He really wants to meet her for once and tell her much she means to him.

She hummed a lullaby for him to smooth him. Telling him it was alright and that he'll be okay once he enters the world and be with her.

"My little baby," She said in a sweet and gentle voice.

I hope you guys all enjoy this chapter. Iruma remembering what it was like to be in his mother's womb. Her singing a lullaby to him and telling how much she... Wait a minute. Did Iruma's mother actually cared about him? Hmm? Who knows? Anyway, thank you again for reading this. Also, Iruma and his real family going to the town square is actually inspired by the time me and my family would often go downtown and enjoy the time at night.
