Hi, this is my first fanfiction I just wanted to try out something new, I worked hard on this and had a lot of fun, so please read and I hope so enjoy
Disclaimer I do not own The Vampire Diaries, The Originals or their characters, only the plot and characters I have created.
This chapter contains slight gore, but not bad.
Olivia was in her room, wearing her robe and putting her hair up into a tight braided bun, and her makeup done very well to complement her features when she heard someone knocking on her door.
"Come in." She was hoping to see Klaus but saw Elijah.
"Hello." He leaned against the door post. "I am glad you chose to stop by, even after our history."
"You know I forgive you for trying to kill me all those times." She looked at him "You gave those people your word and I do come back."
"Thank you for your kindness."
"Of course, you know as well as anyone that I am nothing if not kind." He smiled at the ground.
"You look nice." He complimented as he left the room. She smiled and continued to tame her hair.
She walked down the hall and reached the top of the long winding staircase. Everyone turned their heads. Her eyes fell on Klaus who had a relaxed smile and wore a cream suit with gold accents. She smiled at him and descended the stairs.
Klaus looked up and saw her. He felt a pulling in his chest. She was gorgeous. Her hair pulled out of her face, to see her makeup that was done perfectly. And her body was covered with deep red fabric in an off the shoulder simple ball gown.
When she reached the bottom Klaus was waiting for her with his hand out to her. She took her arm in his and they walked into the room together. The music started to play and they walked into the middle of the room. The dance was slow and intimate, they did not break eye contact the entire time. Slowly others paired off and danced around them but Klaus and Olivia were in their own world together.
The song ended but they didn't move from each other's embrace. Olivia felt someone tap her shoulder breaking her from her thoughts. She turned around and saw Marcel smiling at her, she smiled back and excused herself from Klaus and he walked away.
"You look lovely." Marcel looked her up and down.
"You don't look bad yourself." Marcel was wearing a black tuxedo and a black tie.
"Would you walk with me?" She took his arm and followed him outside into the garden. The cold air bit at her skin. She shivered against him and he looked down at her with concern.
"I'm fine." She said seeing his worried expression. He slid his coat off and gave it to her. She took it over her bare shoulders and thanked him. They continued walking in silence for a while.
"Olivia," She looked up at him. "Klaus has told me a lot about you." She blushed a little.
"All good things I hope."
"I have someone I would like you to meet." She looked at him quizzically,
"Are they here."
"No, but I will take you to her tomorrow if that is ok with you."
"Great, I would love to meet your friend." She smiled at him. He opened his mouth as if to say something when one of the waiters called out to her. "Sorry, I have to go. Let's talk later." She handed him his coat, he nodded and walked away.
From a window in his room Klaus saw the two walking away from each other. He smiled to himself and left his view point.
"Hello miss Olivia. Klaus sent me to come find you." She thanked him and walked inside expecting to find Klaus but was cut off by a young man in a clean suit whom she did not know.
"Hello?" She looked at the stranger.
"Hi, I am a friend of Klaus and I saw you two dancing today so I wanted to say hello and offer you a drink." He handed her a champagne flute. She took it and took a sip.
"Thank you." But the second she drank it, she felt dizzy. He grabbed her shoulders and helped her into a room off to the side. She collapsed onto the floor, the whole room spinning.
"Just relax," He smirked at her. He grabbed her and ramed her into the wall. Her body fell limp against the wall.
"Wha-What." She could barely form a sentence. His teeth grew into fangs. "You, your a-a," He nodded. "N-no, get off." She struggled against his weight.
"Don't be afraid. Just stay still." He looked in her eyes and she stopped struggling.
"What are y-you gonna do."
"I'm hungry. I will feed on you until you have nothing left to give me." She breathed heavenly, then suddenly she smiled. He looked at her confused. She pushed him away and he smashed into the opposite wall.
She stood up and walked towards the middle of the room. "You really thought you could just drug me and kill me." He ran towards her. Without blinking she stopped him in his tracks and sat him down on the couch. "Sit, stay a while."
"What, who are you."
"I am someone who knows you aren't really a friend of Klaus." She walked around the room slowly.
"But I compelled you. Are you a vampire?"
"Ha, no." She leaned into him and looked in his eyes. "But you don't really care, do you?"
"No, I don't." She smiled and walked back to the middle of the room. Her back facing him.
"Good, then we can get to the important stuff." She turned around quickly, a knife came out of nowhere and his head dropped to the floor. Blood spilling onto the carpet. Just then the doors to the room flew open and she saw Klaus standing there furious.
"Are you ok?" He rushed to her.
"I'm fine, but your 'friend' here may need some help." She walked out of the room twirling the knife in her hand before setting it down on the dresser.
