Chapter 20

The morning flew by fairly quickly for the group and the rest of the as well. Soon Darjeeling was getting ready for her date with Kay. She put on a jacket over her blue t-shirt and had a pair of black jeans on. She made her way out of the building and met up with Assam who was waiting.

"You look good in normal clothes, commander" Assam said with a small giggle.

"Thank you." Darjeeling said gratefully

"Well they should be on their way."

"Right. Let's head down there and greet them."

They made their way down to the area where ships were allowed to dock and let people off. They arrived just in time to see the two Saunder girls arriving. Kay was the first off followed by Naomi. Naomi hugged Assam and the two disappeared, leaving the two Blondes alone to themselves.

"So you ready for our date Darjeeling?"

"Yeah, how about you?"

"Hmmm, let me see. Getting to spend time with the most beautiful girl on the face of the earth. Yes I am ready" Kay said as she closed the distance between her and Darjeeling.

"Then let's go." Darjeeling said blushing

"Alright, what is the plan?"

"I had planned to go to a cafe and let you try some tea."

"Cool. Last time I tried tea I didn't care for it, but that was a long time ago. It'll be fun to try it again. This time with you." Kay said giving Darjeeling a generous hug.

They headed towards the cafe that Assam had told Darjeeling about. On their way Kay and Darjeelings hands were intertwined. They reached the cafe and sat down. The waiter came over and asked what they were having. Darjeeling ordered a few kinds of tea confusing the waiter. "This is her first time trying tea." Darjeeling explained

Once the waiter got the idea she went back to get the tea and the scones that Darjeeling ordered. "How's school going Kay?" Darjeeling asked

"It's been slow the past few days. I couldn't stop thinking about tonight."

"Kay. You don't have to keep trying to win me over. I want to be with you."

"What can't I compliment you? Besides we are here to relax and get to know each other better."

"Alright, what do you want to know about me?"

"What is your favorite color?"

"Blue, and yours?"

"Red."

The time they spent talking, trying tea, and eating scones was filled with laughter and happiness. Once they finished everything Kay offered to pay for everything, but Darjeeling insisted by saying that a proper lady pays for the food. They took their leave and headed for the door. Kay held the door for her girlfriend. They walked around the ship and continued to talk. They reached the observation deck and looked out over the ocean.

"This is such a beautiful view. It looks just like your eyes. Blue and peaceful." Kay said leaning against the handrail.

"Thank you Kay. Tonight was fun. I had a good time." Darjeeling said as Kay stood up and looked at her.

"Me too. We should do this again. The tea was also really good." Kay said, closing the distance between the two. Darjeeling finished by pressing her lips against Kays. Kay returned, using her tongue she ran along Darjeeling's bottom lip. Darjeeling allowed it access. The two held each other. They broke the kiss when Darjeeling stopped for air. Once the kiss was broken they turned their attention back towards the waves.

"Hey. What are plans after graduation?" Kay asked without looking away.

"I am planning on studying abroad and going to England. What about you?" Darjeeling said looking at her new girlfriend.

"I don't know. I mean my grades are good enough to go to a good college, but I want to go to one that has a tankery course. I know the All star university has one. Then again I also want to be with you."

"Kay. Do what you want, if you want to keep doing tankery then you will find a place that has tankery. Don't miss out on something fun for anyone. I know that's not really what you wanted to hear, but I still stand by it. Also it's too early to make any decisions based on our relationship. It's getting late. If you want you can crash at my place."

"Thank you."
