"Motherfucker." I said. Pulling out my scroll, I looked through my contacts. Fuck. Qrow is the only person who's number I have for Ozpin's faction. Grabbing Qrow's scroll I opened the emergency contacts. At the top was Winter who's name had two heart emoji and a snowflake after it. It wasn't even Winter, it was Snow Goddess… Oh I'm so using this as black mail. Copying the number into my scroll I called her.
"Hello? Who is this?" Winter said.
"Kiran. I have some stuff I need to talk to Ozpin about but Qrow is black out drunk." I said.
"I'll come pick you guys up. Do not tell anyone what you saw in Qrow's scroll." Winter said.
"All I got was the contact name. Why? Is there something else I should read?" I said. Putting in a few passwords to try and get into Qrow's scroll it beeped at me. Let's see Ruby's birthday? No. Yang's birthday? No. Raven's birthday? No. Winter's Birthday? Yes. Oh this is good.
"No." Winter said. The panic in her voice was almost tangible. Black mail time.
"These texts are interesting." I said. I'm not touching their texts with a ten foot pole but she doesn't know that. A dial tone greeted me. Huh. Sitting in the bar as Qrow snored on the table Winter eventually arrived.
"Do not tell anyone what you saw in those texts." Winter said.
"I'm not touching Qrow's texts with a twenty foot pole. And based on your reaction I'm glad I didn't. I doubt you want Ironwood to know that though." I said. Winter glared at me before sighing.
"Fine. Follow me. We'll go to Ozpin." Winter said. Nodding we walked to her airship which was parked not far from the bar. Putting my motorcycle in my inventory I hopped on the airship as Winter flew us to the academy's clock tower.
"You fly yourself?" I asked. She nodded.
"When I can. I don't like someone else being in control." Winter said.
"Make sense. From what I saw your childhood wasn't the best." I said. Winter flinched.
"When you said it doesn't show personal details… Would that count… Intimate moments?" Winter asked.
"Not usually. I saw a couple confessions and a few kisses but not much besides that. None of it was you and Qrow. I wasn't even looking for it. Qrow just blacked out and I didn't have any other way to contact you guys." I said.
"Hey about Weiss's summoning…" Winter said.
"She learns it after the beacon falls when she gets trapped with her father. She escapes using her new summoning abilities and a bit of luck. She gets caught by Raven's tribe after bribing a dust smuggler to fly her to Haven and they get caught by the Lancer Colony in the G field. It serves her well even if she tends to summon bigger stronger grimm instead of your horde approach." I said. Winter smiles. She really loves her sister doesn't she?
"Does she ever… Get a boyfriend?" Winter asked.
"She has a crush on a womanizer for a few weeks but she eventually got a girlfriend." I said.
"That checks out. She always gets crushes on guys who only hurt her. She had a girlfriend for a while but Jaques found out and refused to let her have one." Winter said. Why aren't I surprised?
"How much did I drink?" Qrow said from the back.
"Enough that a child has more Aura than you." I said. Qrow laughed.
"Definitely enough to have a good time." Qrow said.
"Also enough to forget that Salem has started to move drops of the Dark Fountain's Blood of Darkness out of the Dark Fountain and into Grimm to infect cities?" I asked. Qrow sat up fully sober at this point. Winter nearly crashed the ship as I observed Qrow.
Qrow Branwen
HP: 10,000
MP: 0
Aura: 100,000
A rare moment of sobriety for this useless drunk. His Aura has been permanently weakened by his constant consumption of alcohol. Don't fight him now he'll be drunk in minutes.
"What was that?" Qrow asked.
"The spell or the Dark Fountain thing?" I asked.
"The spell." Qrow said, narrowing his eyes.
"Oh that's just a basic observation spell. It allows me to judge how powerful each enemy I fight is." I said. Qrow sighed before leaning back and rubbing his eyes.
"What did it say?" Winter asked.
"A rare moment of sobriety for this useless drunk. His Aura has been permanently weakened by his constant consumption of alcohol. Don't fight him now he'll be drunk in minutes. It gave you about 100,000 points of Aura." I said.
"How much Aura do you have?" Qrow asked.
"1,450,000. For magic I have 43,000 points." I said. How strong is Winter? Observe.
Winter Schnee, Ironwoods Right Hand
HP: 10,000
MP: 10,000
Aura: 750,000
Oldest daughter of the Schnee family. Ran away multiple times as a child before eventually running away to Atlas Academy to become a hunter. She quickly rose through the ranks and became a specialist with her incredible control over her Semblance.
"That is creepy." Winter said.
"Zero magic. 750,000 Aura. Ironwood's Right Hand?" I said.
"She basically runs Atlas. She attends meetings for Jimmy." Qrow said. As we landed, Winter parked the ship before walking down the ramp and up the walkway to Beacon Academy. As we hopped in the elevator Qrow yawned and stretched as the elevator rose.
"Winter, Qrow… and Kiran. To what do I owe the pleasure?" Ozma said.
"Guess what I found~!" I said in a sing-song voice. Slapping my scroll down on the table it showed the picture of the Grimm with the Dark Fountain's Blood of Darkness dripping from its mouth. A pool of darkness covered the bottom of the photo.
"Is that what I think it is?" Ozma said.
"Grimm juice box. Sent with love straight from the nasty Queen herself." Qrow said.
"You remember that 'Haunted' bar? I bought it and after renovating it I went into the cellar to see that sticking out of the wall." I said. Ozma put his head in his hands then sighed.
"Salem's started expanding her base and building ones in the Four Kingdoms." Winter said. She pulled up a map on the window behind Ozma.
"Kiran, do you know where the Dark Fountain is?" Winter asked.
"I have a few theories but nothing concrete. I think it might be here-ish. Ozma?" I said, pointing to the eye would be on the head of the dragon looking continent.
"Unfortunately I can't confirm. The knowledge was hidden from me. The Light Fountain is here. It was sealed in a vault that needs all four maidens to unlock." Ozma said circling the area around the eye of the head of the dragon head connected to the continent of Sanus.
"What's at this dragon's eye?" I asked. The third dragon head connected to the continent of Anima. Ozma sighed.
"I have no clue. It has some sort of magic blocking anyone from nearing it, even Grimm." Ozma said. I hummed.
"I'll put it on my list." I said.
"Since I have you here, would you be willing to transfer the magic in Raven to Specialist Winter?" Ozma asked.
"I'll just take the magic with me." I said. Ozma blinked before sighing and walking over to the elevator. As we loaded up Qrow glanced over to me.
"Ya know kid whoever you give this power to is going to be a Grimm magnet." Qrow said.
"You know I'm going to be near them at all times right?" I said. Qrow sighed. How in the fuck am I going to take the magic with me? Thanatos?
Glad you finally decided to ask death. Once you get down there use the chalk I just put in your inventory to draw the alchemical symbol for the Philosopher's Stone. I'll do the rest.
Thank you death. As we reached the bottom Raven was in a stasis unit similar to the one they put Amber in after Cinder's ambush.
"Hey random question what happened to Cinder and Emerald?" I asked, pulling the chalk out of my inventory I drew out the Alchemical sign for Philosopher's Stone as a cold wind blew through the cavern.
"She's in Vacuo. Why?" Winter said.
"Be careful Champion. Curiosity kills the cat after all. Although you do have a get out of death free card." Thanatos said, rising from the chalked out symbol. He had two sets of jet black wings with his eyes piercing red. He had a runner's build with a slim body and long muscular limbs. He had a set of glowing blue chains on his wrists that he held in a menacing position. He wore a pair of jet black pants and an open black feather coat that reached his knees. Did he make that coat out of his own feathers?
"What is that? Did you summon a Grimm here?" Qrow said, drawing Harbinger.
"So rude. It's no wonder they left. Ah, Ozma. A pleasure to see you. Your constant brief moments of death before your curse activates are painful, yes?" Thanatos said.
"No, I did not summon a Grimm. This is Thanatos. He guides the dead to the Underworld for their eternal reward. Or punishment if you failed to be good in life. He hates Ozma because the brothers Grimm put a curse on him keeping him alive. Only problem is they didn't okay this with him first." I said. Thanatos walked over to the stasis pod, opening it.
"So this is where I die?" Raven asked, looking up at Thanatos.
"Not quite child of the hunt. Hold still. I need to remove the magic that lingers." Thanatos said, gesturing for Raven to stand as he tightened the chains around his wrist. Once Raven stood he wrapped her in his chains pulling them tight before chanting in some arcane language causing symbols to swirl around her. Raven's eyes lit up with magic as it was slowly pulled out of her and into a ball of green flame that flickered and swirled with almost life. Thanatos plucked it out of the air and handed it to me as Raven fell to her knees coughing.
"Have whomever you choose to be the next maiden crush this. The power will flow into them making them the next maiden." Thanatos said. I nodded putting it into my inventory.
"What do we do with Raven now?" Winter said. I wonder if I could put her in my inventory.
"No." Thanatos said looking at me.
"What were you thinking?" Qrow said.
"I was wondering if I could store her with Runes." I said. Ozma hummed.
"If you can find a way to do it go ahead." Ozma said. Grabbing a large roll of paper from my inventory I laid it out on the ground. Drawing ten stasis runes I connected them with a ten point star causing the center to light up with magic. Raven sighed and stepped into it, activating it causing her to get sucked into the parchment.
New spell created! Stasis Scroll!

"If you need me don't hesitate to summon me champion." Thanatos said. His form slowly turned to a black wind that swept through the hall before dispersing entirely.
"Could you put more people in stasis?" Ozma asked.
"It sucks me dry of magic. I could store maybe four more people. Even then I would have almost zero magic left. I would be running on my very limited reserves." I said.
"I'll talk to the other Headmasters. See what monsters need locked up." Ozma said.
"Who's the Headmaster of Vacuo?" I asked.
"There's two actually. General Amaya and General Janai. They are married." Ozma said.
"Noted. Anyways I need to get my bar ready for when it opens tomorrow. It's called the Dead Man's Drink. Stop by if you feel like it. I'm not giving you a discount Qrow." I said, walking out of the underground bunker. Leaving Beacon I drove back to the bar on my motorcycle and put the impromptu sealing scroll under my bed. I'm gonna need a carrying case for that thing.
AN: So begins the Dead Mans Drink. Some of you might know where I'm taking this location but some of you may not. I hope you enjoy this and the update of Magical Girl of Lordran I just put up. See you all soon.
