With that, Sirius and Harry left the shop and headed back to Twilfitt and Tattings to get the robes, before they flooed back to Hogwarts using Madam Twilfitt's floo.

When they arrived back at Hogwarts by flooing into Remus' office, they were greeted by the sight of Dumbledore who was sitting in an armchair by Remus' table.

"Sirius, why did you bring Harry to Gringotts without my permission? I'm his guardian."

"It's Lord Black, Dumbledore. And I am his magical guardian now, not that you were ever his guardian legally. We unsealed James and Lily's will and there was a long list of guardians that Harry could have gone to, and it also specifically stated that Harry was not to be put with the Dursleys who abused him!"

"Now, now Sirius, I already told you why I did that. I didn't want any of the purebloods on the Wizengamot to be able to dispute the issue of his guardianship and for there to be a possibility of him being placed with a dark family," Dumbledore said, trying to placate Sirius, but failing miserably.

"James and Lily's will named members of the Bones and Greengrass families. I don't think anyone in the Wizengamot would have any objections to Harry's guardianship being given to members of a Most Ancient and Noble House, and even if they had, they would not have had enough political power to do anything about it either, not that many would dare go against it. Harry would've been safe and happy with them since they were close friends of Lily and James and till the time they went into hiding, James and Lily would organise playdates with Harry and their children, Neville, Susan, and Daphne, and no death eaters or anyone with bad intentions would have been able to get past the wards of the Most Ancient and Noble Houses."

"They could've voluntarily given Harry to the death eaters or dark families."

"They would never do that. The Most Ancient and Noble Houses have always been in the grey faction in the Wizengamot, and James, Lily and I personally know the people that James and Lily have assigned Harry's guardianship to. None of them have or ever will support the pureblood supremacists."

At this, Dumbledore paled, not having anything to say in retaliation. Noticing this, Sirius continued, taking advantage of the fact that Dumbledore had no sound arguments to whatever he was saying.

"Besides, it was said in their will that Pettigrew was the secret keeper, not me! If you had not chosen to seal the will just so you could have guardianship of Harry and place him with the Dursleys, it could have been read in the Wizengamot and it would have been obvious that I should not be in Azkaban and they would have released me or at least given me a trial instead of leaving me in there. Then, I could have gotten guardianship of Harry and no one would be able to say anything about it since I'm his magical godfather. Anyways, I've gotten that settled at Gringotts, and I am now his magical guardian, and they are currently filing the papers at the Ministry of Magic so that I'll be his guardian legally as well by tomorrow, for the Wizengamot meeting."

"Oh, and Dumbledore, I'll be bringing Harry to the Wizengamot meeting tomorrow to announce my intention of him being my heir, so he can accept the Heir Black ring, and as the Heir Potter. He accepted his role as Heir Potter this morning at Gringotts."

"Sirius! I told you that I did not want Harry to learn about his role when he's still so young. He already has so many burdens on him at such a young age."

"I don't believe it'll be a burden to him. He obviously wants to know more about his family and being Heir Potter will allow him to do that. On top of that, it will give him more political power and allow him to access the family library to gain more knowledge to help him fight against Voldemort. Besides, as I have repeatedly told you, most heirs of families on the Wizengamot are first taught about their role since they are five and at the latest, before they attend Hogwarts, they would have accepted their Heir ring and officially become the Heir of their family. It is not too much of a burden!"

Wanting to try another approach, Dumbledore turned to Harry, asking him, "Do you really want to be Heir Potter now? Don't you feel you have too many burdens already?"

"Professor Dumbledore, I want to be Heir Potter now, and being Heir Potter isn't a burden to me. I want to learn more about my family and my heritage, and Sirius is going to teach me all about it!"

Seeing that he had failed, Dumbledore turned back to face Sirius, frowning deeply.

"Dumbledore, there's nothing you can do. Besides, there's one more thing I have to talk to you about."

Rubbing his head and sighing, Dumbledore asked Sirius what it was about.

"Why did you create a marriage contract between Harry and Ginerva Weasley when he was not yet two years old? James and Lily would have wanted him to be able to find and marry the person he loved, and if necessary, create a marriage contract with her when they are both ready to marry."

"I… I didn't want the purebloods to be able to try and create a marriage contract between him and their children. It would be a way for them to control him."

"Dumbledore, they wouldn't be able to! You know that neither the Wizengamot nor the Ministry of Magic has any power over anyone who is a member of a House in the High Council of the Wizengamot, the Most Ancient and Noble Houses. No matter what, even if they were somehow able to convince most of the Wizengamot and the Minister, no one would be able to force a marriage contract between one of the children of those pureblood families and a member of a Most Ancient and Noble House through. Only if the legal guardian of the child of a Most Ancient and Noble House signs it, will it be able to hold and not get dissolved immediately. Anyways, I dissolved the marriage contract between Harry and Ginerva Weasley already, since you were only his legal guardian and not his magical guardian, I was able to do it easily."

"Now the pureblood families will be able to send Harry marriage contracts! He'll be bombarded with them and what is unknowingly, he agrees to one of them? It may have terrible results."

"I believe most of the families will not dare to do so, and I will be helping him screen his mail to ensure his safety. Besides, customarily, the marriage contracts will be sent to his guardian, me, and if you remember, I was raised a Black and I know more about magical contracts and the possible loopholes and tricks in them than any of them could ever hope to know. I would never sign a marriage contract for him unless he finds a girl he loves and asks me to arrange a marriage contract for him with her family."

"Fine."

"Oh, Dumbledore, I'll be bringing Harry with me to the Wizengamot tomorrow so he won't be in school or at his lessons. We should be back before dinner."

"I'm afraid he can't go, Sirius. Hogwarts doesn't allow students to leave school when there are lessons ongoing."

"Except when it's for a legal matter, and I'm bringing him to get him to be declared as Heir Potter and to appoint him as my Heir should anything happen to me. There's no way for you to stop me."

Overly annoyed by Dumbledore at this point, he pulled Harry out of Remus' office, leaving Dumbledore behind.

Passing the parcel of clothes to Harry, he instructed, "Wear the formal robe tomorrow and meet me at Remus' office at 7am. When you get back to your dormitory, change into one of the new robes we bought today. Remember, you have to dress like the Heir Potter from now on so that the pureblood families know you're taking your role seriously, so you'll have to wear these robes at Hogwarts whenever you're not wearing your Hogwarts uniform instead of wearing muggle clothing."

With that, Harry gave Sirius a hug, and walked back to his dormitory, mentally preparing himself to wear robes without anything else underneath from now on.
