"Does it hurt?" Cassie asked Sickness. Her bruised and cut hands were now bandaged up, the nurse had helped everyone except Dboy who simply refused to be touched by her. The heater had been put on full blast in the lobby in hopes every one would dry up faster. Sickness looked at her gauzed little hands sadly. "No it doesn't hurt anymore. Thank you Cassie." She gave a small smile and look over to Eff who was sitting next to a vent.
"How are you feeling Vincent?" She asked Eff. He smiled, "I'm feeling fine Cassie thank you. But I think my friend Roman might need some help." Eff pointed to Reverend who was having rubbing his ankle too much.
" How are you Roman?" The nurse asked.
Reverend looked down to the floor with his hands still rubbing his ankle, his stature and overweight physique troubled her in this case. Cassie feared he won't be able to walk longer than normal. " I think it's just sore, I hope it's not badly damaged." Cassie smiles slightly and hoped for the best for all of them. She looked over to Vincent's brother who hadn't introduced himself not wanted any help with his wounds. He seemed troubled by something almost disappointed. Being at her job for so long helped cassie to sense a person's mood to get a better understanding and felt he was the type to just need extra space.
"Don't mind my brother," Eff or rather Vincent said, "he's a little shaken up but he'll be alright eventually. Has a little bit of an attitude problem as well so please, don't take it to heart." He smiled at her giving Cassie some butterflies. She couldn't help but feel conflicted however as both brothers being attactive both gave her an off feeling. Though Vincent seemed nice enough she gave him the benefit of the doubt. Still, the girl with the bandaged hands, Devi, was mulling in one corner of the room upset, so was Roman. They seemed to be close and Cassie wondered how they all knew each other. More importantly what the hell were they doing outside so extreme it got them caught in the river?
"Say Cassie?" It was Vincent. He pull the brunette aside and whispered, "Do you think you can show me to the restroom, doll?" He then gave a charming smile which gleamed his brown eyes. Cassie blushed and lead him down the empty hall, thats when she started to feel uneasy. The hall was large enough to have Vincent walk next to her but instead he trailed right behind her. As they arrived Vincent shoved her through the door and thats when things turned. Dragging her by the wrists toward a bathroom stall he tried to pull off her skirt and while she struggled Vincent only punched her twice in the face which was enough to settle her and proceeded to pull off her clothes.
Leaving her in her underwear, blood trickled out of her broken nose as she sobbed loudy to Eff not to hurt her. Eff began ripping her clothes long enough to tie her wrists together around the toilet.
"I'll be back to check on you, but if I catch you trying to leave beautiful..." He paused looking into her grey eyes with such insanity it made her heart stop for a moment, "You dont wanna know what I'll do." He grinned a maniac type of smile that his charm was trying to hide. Eff left her there shaking and crying in fear and made use of some furniture to block the outside of the bathroom door. Eff whitsled down the hall to rejoin his group in search of answers.

"So what know?" He asked leaning against the door.

"Fuck knows," Dboy said bluntly, "We have to wait the storm out here in this nut house until sunrise. Still..." he paused looking around.

"I know you all feel what I sense here." He said.

Staring down a corridor, they all knew what he was talking about. The air in the place had been thick, the voices of misery whetted their appetites, in this asylum their were many people that were ripe for the taking. Ones whose minds they were tempted to sweep up. However, they all suspected there were no flushers here that they could escape to. They knew they could never go back to what they once were.

"Yeah...should we have a look around?" Sickness asked in a curious voice.

All 3 men looked to each other and knew they couldn't resist the temptation to look. All 4 decided to make their way down the halls to find the rooms where many humans lost their minds in. It seemed alien to Dboy in contrast to the other 3 reactions to peeking in through the small windows of the doors to see the people trapped. Their gaze marveled at the possibility to gain what little power they had in their minds in such a weakened state. But all knew it would be impossible. Dboy had no interest however.

"You think even if they're not flushes we can still get a hold of em? I mean I know you doughboys managed to communicate to others than Nny. How is this any different?" Sickness asked as she kept peeking at inmates.

"It was all powering through which subsided after Nny died the first time. We're much stronger now so I dont doubt the ability to get into any of these fuckers head. Still, it feels weirdly sordid. Even for me." Eff answered.

"I feel the same way," Reverend said, "Its like something that's too easy to get but in the end is not worth the time."

"I think you all are looking at this the wrong way." Dboy spoke up.

"What do you mean?" Sickness asked.

Looking around as they went through another hall, Dboy felt something was watching them.

"What I mean is, theres something being covered up here. The tremors I felt when I first approached this building have been saturated in my senses. I know there's something in here that is deeper than these lunatics. Some thing that doesn't want to be found out by us - or maybe that's the front."

Eff groaned at his speculations, "Well if that's the case then I dont mind walking around this whole facility to find what you're talking about. Besides I'm already getting bored so let's have a treasure hunt then." He grinned.

Shrugging, Reverend, Sickness and Dboy went along with it.

Cassie arms grew tired and her skin went cold. She knew she hadn't been tied up for too long but couldn't stand this torture any longer. Her mind kept racing the thought that Vincent would be back any minute to hurt her and thought of ways to get out her binds. Trying to reach the middle knot between her hands she tried prying the knot loose little by little. It was on tight but she knew she can eventually get it off. Slowly but surely Cassie went to work, when suddenly an intrusive but familiar voice surged in her head.

She knew who it was.

"What happened?"

"A man bounded me. I'm scared he'll hurt me. I dont know where they are. Tell Todd."

The voice disappeared. She knew over time to trust the thing that stuck with Todd, even though this thing frightened her. Hopefully, this thing will be able to come to her aid soon.
