"Do not resume your activities. Stay inside your own cabins for the meantime. This is about to get dangerous." Artemis declared. The campers nodded, and returned to the cabins as the winds picked up and it started to storm. Even with the camp's borders, some of the wind and rain droplets penetrated it, displaying just how dangerous it was to step out of the border at this time.
It wasn't going good for Camp Half-Blood.

Up in good old Olympus, Zeus and Perseus were both readying for their duel. Zeus boasting arrogantly to whoever would listen, and Perseus actually getting ready. Perseus had also talked to his father, whom he hadn't managed to talk properly to since his arrival back into the mortal world, something he admitted he regretted and should've done it long ago. Poseidon forgave him, though, and they father and son made amends by spending two hours just constantly talking and discussing his tactics to defeat Zeus.
Artemis had come up to Olympus and asked Percy to calm down, seeing as the tides in Long Island Sound were raging and getting worse by the minute. She also asked Poseidon to do his best to calm the storms in Zeus' domain, as he was the famous Stormbringer. Percy managed to calm down after seven kisses from Artemis, and Poseidon managed to calm the storms directly above Camp Half-Blood, but storms were still raging throughout America. Hurricanes formed in Texas, Louisiana, and Florida, destroying multiple cities.
The mortal governors were devastated, and it further proved the selfishness of Zeus. He didn't care for the mortal casualties, if Percy wanted to, he could subconsciously conjure a fifty-foot tsunami to drench the entire East Coast, from Maine to Florida, but as much as he wanted to, he didn't want to risk the lives of innocent mortals. He was caring and smart enough to hold back his rage, and funnel it to Zeus.

After a few hours of preparation, Zeus and Perseus were finally going head to head. Zeus was dressed in Imperial Gold armor. His chest plate depicted many scenes of him doing 'great things'. Perseus snickered when Poseidon told him what Zeus would most likely be wearing. The only 'great thing' that was on the piece of armor was him chopping up Kronos' remains and the Olympians fighting the father of monsters, Typhon. Even then, none of the aforementioned he did alone, and yet he claims both of them his doing. The rest were just him smiting foolish kings such as Salmoneus, and a bunch of other unjust kings.
Perseus was dresses in simple, yet strong Celestial Bronze armor. He had Anaklusmos readied at his hands. He would fight for the justice of Olympus, and bring the tyrant-king down to his knees.
All of the gods of the Greek Pantheon watched eagerly, most of them rooting for Perseus, but some occasional ones for Zeus. Most of the minor deities sided with Perseus, as he had been far kinder than Zeus has ever been to them. The Olympian Council was split apart yet again, as it had been millennia ago. Athena, Ares, Aphrodite, and Dionysus sided with Zeus. Poseidon, Hera, Demeter, Hermes, Apollo, Artemis, and Hephaestus sided with Percy. Hephaestus had tried to make amends with Percy by siding with him this time, as he claims Aphrodite charmspoke him into rooting for Zeus the first time.
Hades and Hestia also attended the duel, as with Persephone. Triton was invited, but declined respectfully, seeing as he had to run Atlantis in his father's absence. Even though Amphitrite had betrayed Poseidon, Triton had proved his loyalty unwavering to Poseidon and Poseidon only.
The major and minor gods of the Greek Pantheon teleported to the Arena of Olympus, south from the official Palace of Olympus. The arena itself was rectangular-shaped. It had a small, but quite deep pool in Percy's side and it didn't have a roof, that way, both of the gods would be at their domain. Zeus and Perseus stood in opposite corners of the arena, both facing each other's backs. Chiron got the front seat, seeing as he was the referee for the duel. The duel was either to death, or until someone submits to defeat.
"GODS AND GODDESSES OF OLYMPUS!" Chiron bellowed, getting everyone's attention. "Today we will attend the official duel of Lord Zeus, god of thunder against Lord Perseus, god of time. I have been sworn in as the referee on the river Styx and I will judge fairly and truthfully as my eyes see. Duelers, YOU MAY BEGIN!" The sound of a conch shell, similar to the one on Camp Half-Blood, only ten times louder, sounded, signaling the beginning of the duel.
Zeus smirked arrogantly, and fired a lightning bolt at Perseus, who blocked it easily with Anaklusmos. Percy manipulated the time around him, slowing him down tremendously, and stabbing him right through the gut, sending him backwards. Zeus stumbled back a few feet as he coughed up ichor, and a gash appeared on his stomach, but was already starting to fade, due to his godly powers.
Zeus charged his Master Bolt, and hurled it towards Perseus, the sheer strength of it even forced him to stumble back a few inches. It came charging straight for Perseus, but using his time manipulation powers, he just froze it in time and dodged it.
Zeus sent bolt after bolt after bolt, but Percy either dodged it, or blocked it. Anaklusmos was a powerful and ancient blade. It could easily withstand an explosion from Zeus' Master Bolt, so it stood no chance against his normal bolts.
The god of thunder finally realized he was out of his domain, so he started to fly, and sent waves of wind towards Percy's direction. It sent Percy flying backwards, into his pool. Perseus rose out of the pool in his own personal water-tornado. He charged Zeus with water tendrils, and froze him in time, forcing him to take a powerful blast of water, that would blur his vision for a while, and sent jets of water up his nostrils, which wasn't fatal, but wasn't pleasant.
Zeus fell down from the sky, and shook his head, getting the water off. While he did that, Perseus charged Anaklusmos at him, and using the flat of his blade, pinned him to the wall of the edge of the arena.
"Surrender, Zeus?" he taunted.
"Not to a weakling like you, minor." He retorted.
The insult of being called a minor god really pissed off Percy, and he flung Zeus up in the air, before pulling him down again and slamming him into the earth with a tendril of water.
"You want to see the true power of a minor god, Zeus?" he threatened. For a moment, a flash of fear came into Zeus' eyes, before he regained his usual, arrogant, prideful façade.
Perseus' eyes glowed a faint light blue, and he slammed Zeus backwards will all his godly strength, the same slam he used on Atlas. Since it sent Atlas flying back, Zeus didn't stand a chance. He was flung back and slammed his spine on the edge of the arena.
Zeus was crumpled in the floor by the sheer impact of Percy's slam. He stood up drowsily and tried to heal some of his injuries. He sent a super-charged Master Bolt blast straight to Perseus' face. He didn't block it in time, so he stumbled backwards a few feet.
Perseus used all his power to summon a huge, gigantic, ball of water and wrap it around Zeus' body. He kept it floating just a few feet above the ground and managed to hold it for four minutes (A/N: Yes, this is a Harry Potter reference, for those who don't understand, in the duel of Dumbledore against Voldemort in book five, at the Ministry of Magic, Dumbledore wrapped Voldemort in some sort of water-cocoon. Just imagine that happening to good ol' Zeusie. And yes, I'm a Potterhead.*switches to fake British accent* I fancy myself as a Slytherin, but the good kind of course, and I'll bloody fight Draco any day.)
Percy dropped the cocoon as Zeus summoned lightning to strike him. A bolt of lightning descended from the sky, and hit Perseus. HE stmbled back, exhausted from the efforts of the water-ball, and smoking from the lightning blast. Zeus wasn't in a good place either. His vision was blurry, he could barely hear with the amount of water in his ears, his nose was filled with water, and he was soaking wet from top to bottom.
Both panted, exhausted from each other's efforts. Percy recovered faster, and came running to Zeus, Anaklusmos unsheathed for a close-range battle. Zeus barely dodged, and Percy manage to open a cut in his back, ichor flowing slowly.
Zeus did the only thing he could do left, he ran and dodged Percy's attacks. Percy wasn't swinging wildly, and he was aware of what Zeus was doing. Zeus was trying to tire him out, and strike when he was down. Percy used as little energy as he could, and he rarely attacked. Once he attacked, it would be calculated and precise, almost always nailing Zeus.
Eventually, Zeus was the one who tired out, not only by running around, but also by powerful and calculated strikes and attacks of Anaklusmos. Percy managed to pin him down to the floor of the arena. At this point, all of the gods were sitting on the edge of their seats, eager to see the outcome of the battle.
"Surrender, Zeus." Percy said. This time, it wasn't a taunt. It was an offer. They both knew what he would do next if Zeus didn't surrender, but the Lord of the Sky persisted. His hubris and ego was simply too much for him to submit defeat, and surrender. He didn't answer, simply, glaring back at Perseus.
Perseus shrugged, "Your funeral, not mine."
Percy stabbed Anaklusmos through Zeus' gut, and chopped him into large chunks; the head, 2 halves of the torso, two arms, and two legs, right before it turned to golden dust, signaling the defeat of the King of Olympus. Athena, Ares, and Dionysus stood up, furious at Percy who killed their father. But they were restrained by Poseidon, Hades, and Artemis. Hephaestus walked to them and cuffed them with celestial bronze cuffs.
"We'll have to appoint a new king of Olympus, and a new king of the sky." A bloodied Perseus said.
A flash could be seen in the arena, and Aether, the embodiment of the Upper Sky appeared. "Hello, Olympians. It has been a while."
"Hello, Lord Aether." Poseidon replied. "Indeed it has."
"I would like to take control of the sky, if you don't mind, Olympians. Though I will not take the domain of thunder and lightning." Aether said.
The Olympians had a silent conversation among themselves and it was decided. "Lord Aether, we, as the Olympian Council will happily grant you the domain of the full sky, and as king of the skies. From now, you shall be known as Aether, the god of winds and the lord of the skies." Poseidon announced.
"Thank you, Olympians, now I will leave you to discuss further." Aether replied, before he flashed away.
The Olympians turned to each other, and stared at each other warily as to who would take the throne, until Hades broke the tension. "I motion my dear sister Hestia gets the throne of Olympus."
"I second the motion." Poseidon said.
"I third it." Demeter mused.
One by one, the Olympians slowly agreed that Hestia, the goddess of hearth, family, and fire should be Queen of Olympus. Even Athena begrudgingly agreed, as Hestia was the eldest Olympian.
"Thank you, my family." Hestia thanked the Olympians.
"I suppose we will have the coronation tomorrow, sister? Perhaps we should let my son rest first, as rest ourselves first after the adrenaline-rushing duel." Poseidon asked.
Hestia nodded, and turned to Percy, who was still ichor-covered. Mostly Zeus', but he had a few cuts and marks here and there. "Rest up, Perseus. I want you fully energized by tomorrow, young man."
Percy mock-glared at Hestia, but smirked when he said, "Yes, my Queen."
A look of disgust dawned on Hestia's face, as she turned to the Olympians, "Please do not call me that, unless absolutely necessary."
The Olympians laughed and Hades said, "Of course, sister. We shall not view you any different from before."
"Thank you." She smiled sweetly.
And with that, the Olympians returned to their respective palaces, and Perseus teleported to camp with Artemis. He would rest up, until tomorrow, when the two would attend the coronation of Hestia, as the Queen of Olympus.
REVIEWS
Callum Runchman: I changed the prophecy up a bit, if I'm not wrong, I've changed the last line from 'and one shall perish by a parent's hand' to 'to save another from a parent's hand'. But, I guess you're kinda right, even with my revision of the prophecy. Nobody actually 'saved' Zoe from Atlas. I'll admit it, I was wrong lol.
BJack12: Of course, I'll always respond to these reviews if I can. It helps me a lot :)
Alexandra Goddess of Heroes: Thanks for the review! And yeah, if you've read Percy Jackson's Greek Gods, you'd know that even he's kinda grossed out. I mean, it is incest. But, to be fair to them, they didn't have anyone else to marry. If none of the Elder Six (Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, Zeus) married each other, they'd have to marry their uncles/aunts. I mean, Zeus+Hera are siblings, Poseidon+Amphitrite are cousins, Hades+Persephone are uncle and niece, and Demeter fucked Zeus and Poseidon (Poor Hades lol).
CommanderDuck14: Thanks, yeah I'd think 2k is pretty standard for 1 or 2 chapters/day.
HellRaiderS: Thank, HellRaiderS! :)
radarjackson12: Thank you, thank God none of my family has got covid-19, and I pray none will get it. All the best for you too, mate :)
A/N
