What if all the Decepticons were killed off during the battle in Egypt and now the autobots have to deal with being accepted by the humans and re learn how to live a civilian life? the President's call and the Autobot's meeting on the beach

Hi there folks, yes it's been a very long time that I even updated this story and one helluva time proof reading it before I posted it to a point that I'm posting it now as is! I hope now you all are still interested in it. THIS WAS POSTED THE OTHER DAY, I JUST CAME BACK TO IT AND MADE SOME MINOR ADJUSTMENTS.

We start Monday, a week later after Optimus and Rammer spent time on the beach along with Elita and are doing better since they spent time together and had a spark to spark talk. Beamer and Bounce also have also been getting alone with their father, Ratchet but, there too things are going to take time. Both sets of twins though have wasted no time getting back into trouble by pulling their pranks on base with either the humans or the Autobots. And it's beginning to frustrated the humans on base. Staylie, Ironhide and Chromia's daughter, has had a much easier time getting closer with her father and that it's no doubt due to Ironhides relationship with Major Lennox's daughter Annabelle who Staylie calls Annie for short.

To refresh and put everyone up to date on what's been going on before I start this chapter. I want to get the story back on line since it's been so long.

All the older Autobots have been remembering during their spare time which has been a lot lately; what their lives were before the war and have been spending this time rebuilding their bonds as a family and dear friends. The younglings have started to ease into the realization that the war is over and are adapting better than expected although some still are having flashbacks at night during their recharge time. Hound and Bulkhead have been spending time along and this past Sunday Prowl believed it was time to bring up this issue again to Prime. Optimus agreed and went on telling Prowl he knew it was time to intervene and talk to them about their isolation from others. See, Hound's sparkmate Tundra was hiding with other femme soldiers in abandon mine-shaft and they were ambushed by several of Soundwave's mine soldiers just days after Optimus and his team left Cybertron in search of the Allspark.

Later that afternoon Optimus did drive down to the far west side of the island where there was a long stretch of sand dunes. But at first Optimus just transform and watched as he stood by watching Bulkhead and Hound chasing around on the dunes bouncing up and down and having a blast. Optimus was happy to see them enjoying time together but as he slowly walked down the sand dune towards them they turned around and had transformed together and stood by as Optimus approached them. Optimus was the first to speak, Hound it's good to see you and Bulkhead having a good time spent together out here but, I think it's time we talk. Optimus paused as he saw Hound look over his shoulder trying to hold back the tears. Then Hound replied, Yes sir I know it's just we feel Tundra would be so happy out here with us having fun. It's here we feel her spirited with us. Hound stopped as he chocked back the emotions trying to be strong for Bulkhead but, it was to late as he turned around he saw Bulkhead walking away then set down on a dune facing away from he's father and Optimus. Optimus just then walked over to Bulkhead and sat down and talk to him, I understand how you feel, I do. I have not shared this with anyone except Ratchet but, before I was Prime I lost my mother. She worked at a factory making steel and was crushed to death. Optimus paused as it became hard for him but, he knew he now had to tell Bulkhead. Bulkhead turned around and saw a tear flow down Optimus face as he too felt the streams of tears flow down his. How did you ever learn to deal with her gone, Bulkhead asked. Optimus cleared his throat and said, I never really have but, the war has forced me to accept that fate rarely calls upon you at the moment of your chosen. My father was gone by the time I was born and shortly after she died Sentinel Prime took me in under his wing and raised me. Hound had just stood by as Optimus was talking to Bulkhead and was sadden to hear what he had heard but, never said anything. Bulkhead stood up and said so being on this planet now is my fate that I must bare? No son, Hound spoke up and said, it was by fate that we found Optimus and the others that were here. And Hound went on to say, that now our thoughts have shifted from war that consumed our every waking moment to civil life and the feelings have come back ten fold.

In other news, Kup has been granted permission to travel to Japan with Wheeljack and they have been gone for a little over a week and are due back Monday afternoon. Wheeljack is very fascinated with their technology and Kup their history and culture. Now Bluestreaker and Mirage have know each other for a long time and are best of friends but both have totally different personalities. But, Bluestreaker has been leading the build the huge hanger to give the already cramped living quarters some much needed relief. A section of the new hanger will be for the added storage for the Autobots and additional wash racks. The rest will be a rect room for the younglings and their private quarters Another part of that conversation Prowl had with Optimus on Sunday was about the tensions building between the Autobots and the humans on base and Optimus did talk with them yesterday.

Ultra Magnus and Nightspeed have been gone for two weeks with communications Sgt. Stout to Canada His family has 4 acers up in the far northwestern wilderness Where Ultra Magnus and Nightspeed can have privacy in a part of Sgt. Stout's property that a mountain range where there is a large underground cave they can stay. While Sgt. Stout spends shore leave with his family. But Monday afternoon they are expected to return to base And in two weeks there is talk of Ultra Magnus going with Optimus to attend an interview from a room full of reporters from at least ten news organizations around the world. A meeting that has Optimus wondering how it will go and just how it will be set up. Wheeljack was worked on improving their hologram programs before he left for Japan that Ratchet started years ago and the Autobots have liked the upgrades and are working on improving there holograms functions.

Okay the disclaimers the names Rammer, Staylie, Beamer and Bounce, Nightspeed , officer Philip and communication Sgt Charles Stout are the characters I made for this story along with the cities called Kacon and Facon but the rest of the names belong to Hasbro and others discussed in here Major Lennox, Epps and the General Moreshower are from Paramount movies transformers. One comment in here from Optimus came from Transformers the fallen.

ONE BIG NOTE HERE, THIS CHAPTER WILL BE SOME WHAT LONG, I GOT EAGERER TO WRITE AGAIN TO CATCH THE STORY UP. THERE WILL BE SOME FOUL LANGUAGE IN HERE BUT RATED AROUND PG13? SOME VERY EMOTIONAL FEELINGS ARE EXPRESSED IN THIS CHAPTER TOO.

On with the story, ready?

With the younglings home after their visit to the US last week a new week has begun. Today is Monday and Optimus was as usual in the command center promptly at 0700 hours for a briefing with Prowl, Major Lennox and Sgt. Epps and with Communication officer Philip who had relived Sgt Stout so he could take his two weeks of shore leave were in the meeting with Optimus and Lennox. Prowl started the meeting in his low and serious but, always a very calm voice. The next items need urgent attention today, they are as follows: the twins, completion of the hanger date, the meeting via the communication encrypted satellite with the President of the US schedule at 1300 hours today and the upcoming visit overseas. Commander, there is good press but there has been conversations between the ambassadors from the different nations who are meeting in New York at the headquarters of the United Nations. There is discussion that our involvement publicly needs to be keyed down. At this point our holograms could be a better choice to visit in public but, the range of our current holograms are about 10 to15 feet from of our auto mode. I'm sure this can be improved and soon. Cause it would go a long way in helping us transition. Now there's talk of a meeting with the press. But, one source is calling on the US to allow them access here where we are stationed which is and could be a breech of security due to the classified location of this US base. Just then everyone heard and saw Prowl cringed when he heard the twins roared pass by the command center. Just then Optimus slowly turned around and said Major excuse me, he then began to transformed so fast everyone around him blinked in owe something Lennox and his team have not seen him do it that fast in months. With in seconds Optimus started to pick up speed just as he exited the bay doors to the hanger and you could hear his tires scream as he sped off going flat out after both set of twins No one stayed in the command center in fact in minutes everyone on base was told or saw what was going on. About a thousand feet from the front main gates which is two miles from the hangers Optimus caught up with the twins who came to a squelching halt after hearing their commander raise his voice in a loud booming sound STOP YOU FOUR NOW!

You could have heard a pin drop right there but no one approached to find out. Optimus transformed and sounded a little out of breathe as he then said sternly Autobots transform we need to talk. All four did transform at the same time, and stood inline facing their commander and saluted him and remained quite. Optimus looking around only briefly then said, Mudflap, skids Sideswipe and Sunstreaker I have had it up to here with you antics, you are grown mechs now and are seriously causing relations with the humans here to grow increasingly difficult. You have pull pranks on me and the other Autobots and at times in recent weeks we all have had a good laugh but, lately you have pushed it to a point where it's now irritating the humans who now are not find your pranks funny any more. Listen it's not they don't want to have time with us but remember this is a working base. They have full time jobs taking care of their tasks here on the island. The war is over for us and many of us including me are relieved more with each passing month, yet I still feel battle ready as we all will for some time to come, frag maybe we always will to some degree. Optimus just then stopped talking and took a ragged breathe because he had just flat out ran him self so fast trying to catch up with the twins and they saw that and was starting to feel really bad for the way they been behaving. Optimus knew for sure that when he got back to the hanger he was going to hear it from Ratchet. Now, Optimus said to the twins. Our human friends have tried to be patient with you all and do you not remember that I have just spoken to all four you separately this past Saturday? If you want to clown around as the humans call it KEEP IT OFF BASE ! Now you four are to remain on base in separate projects and no communication with each other or anyone else unless spoken to first by either I, Ratchet or Prowl for the following month. You will begin now; Sideswipe go and clean the wash racks, Sunstreaker go clean the rect room. Mudflap go clean your quarters you beg six months ago to have all to yourself and Skids last but never least, go work on completing the installation of the facets in the new wash racks if you have any question about what to do ASK ME first! As you four know the completion of the new hanger will relive our living quarters and then I know we all will be able to settle down into thinking about the direction we want to take in our lives now. Autobots dismissed. The whole base saw Optimus talking to the twins for what seemed like a long time but a few of the Autobots could see and hear that Optimus was livid, he was pointing at them then pointed his hand in another direction for one and another direction for the other and so on. A few minutes later the twins started heading back to the hangers and the rest that were standing around watching went back into the hanger then a few minutes later Optimus could be could be heard him close then saw him drive in the hanger then slowly transform. and he looked like he was in pain somewhat as he transformed looking still annoyed but he kept his usual and steady voice; Prowl, the first item on list is resolved. Ratchet and Elita and the older Autobots there saw that Prime was in pain and was struggling to hide it but, Optimus walked back up to the catwalk and faced Lennox and give a slight bow of his head then faced Prowl and said to him, as you were. Prowl went on for another 20 minutes then the meeting was over. The other Autobots there were walking out while Ratchet, Elita, Chromia and Ironhide walked over towards Optimus who by then had sat down at his desk next to the catwalk and Ratchet was at his desk first and said, my clinic now! Ratchet was really the only one that could pull medical rank, that could give Optimus an order. The younglings had left out and some had got to work on the projects in the new hanger or found something to do. It was the first time they saw Prime that way because he normally is very calm and composed and so they were not necessarily frighten but it was very clear right then and there that Optimus finally had enough of the twins notorious and down right irritating pranks just as everyone else had. Even Staylie yesterday got into it with Mudflap and skids and I'm not sure they are on talking terms right now.

Optimus after seeing the hanger cleared out got up and went quietly on to Ratchet's clinic and Ratchet was right on his heels and by the time those two got in the clinic Ratchet had slammed the bay door and lucky for Prowl, Elita,Chromia and Ironhide they were about ten feet from the bay door when it slammed and they all stopped mid stride and looked at each other and immediately and simultaneously decided to set this one out in the waiting room next door. They all could heard Ratchet talking to Optimus but thirty minutes later they heard the Bay doors open then were slammed again this time by Optimus and they see Prime leaving out very mad. Optimus, Elita called out as she quickly left the room to catch up with him. Optimus didn't hesitate he turned around and said, yes my love. What happened in there? Elita desperately asked while standing there holding on to his arm. Ratchet's just his usual cranky way and worried too much about some stuff as usual but I did over do it a bit chasing after them twins, frag they just as fast as Bee is and I just had enough of dealing with their antics. Elita had a serious but a worried concern look on her face and almost started to ask what it was that had Ratchet that mad but Optimus just leaned over and kissed her on the top of her head but she didn't ask but instead she giggled to which Optimus then just cocked his head sideways at her then said, what's so funny? I remember those years and how fast Bee was and how the older set of twins had such a hard time controlling their speed and not run into things! And with that they both laughed. Ironhide and Chromia who was standing by also started laughing all in all it was just another memory that was good to talk about again.

Hours later the alarm went off at 1230 hours at the main command center notifying both Prowl and Major Lennox of an incoming conference call at 1300 hours as planned from the President of the United States. Prowl immediately told Optimus who told his Autobots and Major Lennox told his soldiers respectfully that in 30 minutes to be in the main command center and to be there in formation at 1250 hours. The humans were still on active duty here on the base and the Autobots were to remain here for sometime to come. Plus their holograms that Wheeljack upon he's return this afternoon will start resume work on programming. At 1250 hours everyone was there, Optimus Elita, Rammer Ironhide, Chromia, Staylie Hound, Bulkhead, Ratchet, Moonracer Bounce, Beamer, Mirage and Bluestreaker and both sets of the twins came through the bay doors and one by one transformed and formed a line facing the big screen in the command center Optimus was standing next to Major. Lennox who was already upon the catwalk who was watching everyone take their place and ten mintues later the call came through. Major Lennox as the incoming call alarm sounded told officer Philip pull the call up on the main screen and for the first time the President of the United States face was on the big screen and saw the faces of the Autobots for the first time.
