Nunca sera lo mismo otra vez
Freddy said while coming out from the record room: nahi sir…kuch nahi mila….
Daya who was doing something in his computer said: mujhe bhi…
Vivek said: is ka matlab hai…koi connection nahi…
And he saw Abhijeet entering inside so said: good evening sir…
Abhijeet nodded, Daya glanced at him, he was wearing the formal clothes only with no upper or jacket or anything. Daya gritted his teeth in anger
Abhijeet totally ignore his glare and asked
kuch or pata chala tum logon ko
Freddy stated explaining
They had gone through their late ACP's profile to search weather he have any connection to Harsh (the kidnapped man with no virus) and Rohit (shot by Abhijeet). They found a man name Rohit who studied in Yuva National college and arrested by ACP Pradyuman during a case but then he was released after the trial. They search Victim Rohit profile but his record didn't match with YNC. They are two different persons
And ACP sir didn't have any connection with Harsh
After listening Abhijeet said
To…in short hum ye keh saktey hain k….ACP sir ke past mein humein…is Rohit ka koi connection nahi mila…or Harsh naam ke kisi insaan se sir ka koi bhi wasta kabhie para hi nahi…
Daya and Freddy nodded in agreement
Abhijeet continued further as; ab humein…sheher mein aisi jaghon ka pata lagana ho ga…jahan ase kisi bhi khatarnaak virus per research ki ja sakti ho…wo bhi safely…or..
But he has to stop because Rajat and Purvi entered inside. They are returning from Rohit's funeral
Daya noticed Redness in Purvi's eyes and Rajat was also looking bit disturbed
The asked casually or we can say tried to be casual
Ho gaya na sab…
Purvi averted her gaze and Rajat nodded silently.
Abhijeet move to his desk and turn on his PC
Daya looked at both of them and asked

Purvi bit her lip and choose to be silent
Rajat said
Sir…actually…aaj Rohit ka aik neighbor mila tha…us ne bataya ke…kidnap honey se theek pehle…Rohit ne usey call kiya tha….per baat kartey kartey achanaq..Rohit ne kisi ko kaha k…arey..tum yahan… aisa laga…ke usey us ka koi janney wala mil gaya…or us ne apne neighbor ko kaha ke baad mein baat karta hun..us ke baad se hi phone switch off ho gaya or….phir humein wo phone Rohit ke kidnapping ke area mein mila…to ho sakta hai…k wohi janney wala…ya janney wali…is gang se juri ho..
Daya nods and Rajat said after some silence
Me Mrs. Rohit se baat karne ki soch raha tha…per un ki haalat theek nahi hai…
Abhijeet looked up from screen with
Han…haalat theek nahi hai…per baat to ho hi sakti thi…clue mil jaye shayad kuch….
Daya gave him a look but he didn't bother to look at him and started working again when Purvi said in a stubborn or somewhat unfamiliar tone
Nahi sir….wo hospitalized hain…shayad unhe miscarriage hua hai…
Abhijeet's hand working on the computer so fastly now stopped suddenly
Purvi controlled her voice as much as she can with
Wo teen mahiney Pregnant thin….
And she marched out of the hall wiping his eyes and Vivek followed her
Daya looked at her disappearing figure then towards two other officers. Freddy is looking at Abhijeet as if trying to study him and Rajat is studying the file with extreme concentration
Daya then turned to Abhijeet who was typing something over the keyboard without looking at anything as if without feeling anything
Daya didn't expect this, at least something should be there in his eyes. Those ever expressive eyes which Daya knew too well. Is he hiding those feelings?. It is understandable that he is accustomed in hiding his feelings but not from Daya. He is always able to read him
Is it Daya's failure? Or Abhijeet becoming the better actor ? or is he really not feeling anything?
They used to say that ACP Pradyuman is stone hearted but even his eyes were expressive more than this. These eyes are like dead and cold
Daya was lost in his thoughts when heard Rajat calling
Sir….
Han Rajat…
Rajat didn't look up from the file or looked around pointed to some points
Sir ye dekhiye….ye jo gang hai…
Daya was not paying attention to the points but studying Rajat's face. It looks like he was dealing with huge lava of anger burning inside him. Then he turned to Freddy who is now moved back to the file in his hands. Then again to Abhijeet who is now frowning at the information on the computer screen…Daya closed his eyes for making his mind focus, but a scene flashed in his mind
Abhijeet standing still with the gun pointed forward and Rohit's body on the street. Devastated expression on Abhijeet's face will never let his mind to rest
He opened his eyes and concentrated on Rajat's points may be he understands what his friend is feeling
After the whole tiring day at bureau, officers visit Dr Salunkhe at his lab.
He was examining something through microscope
Abhijeet started without any informal or formal greetings
Dr sahib aap ko kuch mila?
Dr Salunkhe looked up. He was looking too old and worn out, his eyes were sunken and a well groomed hairs are now haphazard. He has a Five o clock shadow over his face
He said in a tired tone
Nahi…abhie nahi…me ne teen cheezein try ki hain…result 72 ghantey mein aa jaye ga….ager theek na hua to phir se kuch karna parey ga…
Abhijeet said in extreme irritated tone: humarey pass 72 ghantey nahi hain…hum utna wait nahi kar paein ge…ager phir se kisi ko virus inject kiya gaya phir hum….
Dr Salunkhe left his place and said angrily
To kia karein haan? Ye jaantey huey bhi…ke ye logon ko maar sakta hai…ye inject kartey phirein? K…chalo…virus se to marna hi hai..to kyun na us ko or dardnaak maut de dein….brain stroke de dein…ye koshish kartey phirein hum?
Abhijeet took a deep breath and said
Atleast is se virus us insaan tak hi rahey ga…kisi or tak phailey ga to nahi…
All the officers looked at Abhijeet with extreme shock when Daya just said
Kia keh rahey ho tum?
Daya baat ko logically socho…hum ye dawai usey na dein…tab bhi usey marna hi ho ga…ya to goli kha ke…ya injection se…jese Rohit mar gaya…jese ACP sir ko marna para…us ke baad us ki lash bhi logon ke liye khatra ho ga…is se at least…
He stopped and turned to Dr Salunkhe with
Sir..aap koshish kijiye ke jald se jald kuch ban jaye…(then looked at others) or tum sab log filhaal ghar jao…(then said to Freddy and Rajat)tum dono…apney khabriyon se regular contact mein raho…kisi gang ki koi harqat pata chale to turant inform karo..
And he marched outside
Daya looked at all others. He want to give some excuse he want to give some clarification in favor of his brother, but seriously he is not getting what to say
He just says
Wo bahut frustrated hai is liye…
Freddy opened his mouth with
Sir…frustrated to hum sab hain…or Abhijeet sir ko hum ne is se pehle bhi frustrated dekha hai… sir un ka ghussa bhi me ne dekha hai…saalon pehle us haadsey ke baad aap un ke saath they to me ne bhi un ko dekha hai…per sir…in Abhijeet sir ko hum nahi jaantey…sorry sir…hum ye nahi keh rahey ke wo ghalat hain…per hum unhe pehchaan nahi pa rahey…chaltey hain sir…chal Vivek…
Freddy and Vivek moved out without looking at Daya again. Purvi was looking awkward in herself said
Sir….me aik baar Mrs. Seema se…hospital mein mil ke…matlab humein jana chahiye na?
Daya looked out through the window and found Abhijeet talking to someone over phone near their car.
He wants to go with Purvi at least for that kid, but he also wants to be there for his brother. May be he will open up in the loneliness of their home
He looks at Purvi for few seconds then decided that Rohit's widow and that kid will have to cope up with Rajat and Purvi only.
He turned to Rajat
Rajat tum bi aik baar Rohit ke ghar ja ke dekh lo…Bacha ghar per hi hai…abhie us ne apney papa ko khoya…ab maa bhi aise hospital mein…apney dada dadi ke paas hai…tum dekho…kuch zarurat..
Rajat didn't let him finish but said
G sir…me dekh lun ga…chalo Purvi…
And he too marched out
Purvi says chalti hun sir (then glanced at Dr Salunkhe)aati hun Dr sahib
Daya was about to say something when Dr Salunkhe pat him with
Daya…me jaanta hun…Abhijeet pareshaan hai…us ne apne hathon se…tum aik baar us se baat karo please…Pradyuman hota to…wo daant ke hi usey seedhey rastey per le aata…tum aik baar…
Sir aap Abhijeet ki baat ka bura mat maniye…aap ko pata hai na…us ke liye har baat ka solution bas ghussa hi hai…aap…aap theek se research kijiye sir…warna pata nahi kitney bachey anath hon ge…sarey anath ko to…theek se guidance nahi milta na…
Dr Salunkhe looked at Daya, with eyes full of assurance.. Daya continued
pata hai sir…aaj jab me suspects ki profiles dekh raha tha..to us mein kitne aise they…jin ka baap mar gaya….ghar mein daana paani nahi…or beta criminal ban gaya…drug addict ban gaya…khooni ban gaya…
Daya looked as if his heart his lurching, dr Salunkhe pressed his shoulder
ye antidote banna bohat zaruri hai sir…warna ye log..aise hi virus phelaatey jaein ge…or na jaaney kitney bachey is andherey mein dhakailey jaein ge…aap ye antidote bana dije sir…warna...pata nahi…
dr Salunkhe tried to potray confidence but failed miserably, Daya got the matter easily, so gave a pleading look and then he too moved out leaving tensed Dr behind
