Chapter 10: The Interlude

An announcement will be made at the end of this chapter.

The days in Chaldea were going back to normal. At long last they fought back against the Mage Association and called out their bull. Keeping Chaldea to the fun place it is. Where as of the moment, with no danger being detected, life resumed for Chaldea. With the only thing missing were none other than the two Masters of Chaldea. Though to be fair, they weren't gone for good. Just going back home to their family and friends. After all, they did have a life before Chaldea. Thus leaving the staff and Servants here for the time being.

"And here it is." Da Vinci said as she held a helmet device. Revealing it to a crowd of female Servants before her. "A device that is based off the helmet Edison and Tesla made. With my own panted genius of course."

"Why would you make such a thing?" Atalanta raised a brow.

"True." Helena tilts her head. "I don't see a reason for such a thing to even be made."

"Seems like a knock-off." Circe smirks as she thinks little of the device.

"Hm." Da Vinci then turns her head. "Please. Unlike Edison and Tesla, I made improvements."

"Wasn't that only because you were able to learn it through that world we saw?" Scathach thn states, as Da Vinci got the idea and improvement ideas because of that world. "In any case, what is the point of even making it?"

"For fun." Plus, because Da Vinci had nothing better to do.

"Makes sense." Mordred nods. "Without the Masters we got nothing to do here while they're visiting family."

"Indeed." Altria (Lily) nods. "On the bright side, maybe this can be fun." She then leans forward to grab it, with Medea (Lily) also feeling the same.

"Woah there." Da Vinci grabs the helmet before the young Servants can take it. "While I made improvements, this was made for more...mature women." The two pouted, feeling they've been cheated. "Moving on, who wants to try it first?" Da Vinci asked the fine ladies here. Granted, they were rather hesitant. Yet one decided to try it out.

"May as well." Scathach then grabbed it, and placed it on her head. "I have nothing better to do anyway." Once she covered it, she then saw the lights blinking, and soon everything pixelated and became realistic. The Lancer was rather impressed as she found herself in a training room. "Points on details."

"It is, isn't it." She then heard a familiar voice, and saw none other than her student Cu inside. "Heya teach."

"Ah, Sétanta." Scathach smiled. "I see you're here. Or rather, an artificial version of my student."

"Eh, true." Cu says with a shrug, but doesn't seem to care much. "I'm just here since I got a close connection to you and all." He then swung his spear, the one she gifted him. "But enough talk, time for battle."

Scathach agreed. "Very well." She then summoned her own spears. Their deadly pointed ends glinting in the artificial light. "It'll be nice to go a round here in this place."

"Oh. You think I meant that kind of fight, huh." Cu grinned as his spear then vanished. Causing his teacher to become rather confused. "I meant the other fight. The one who'll be a dominant one."

"You mean fists." Scathach didn't mind that she supposed.

"Oh no. I'm still going to use my spear." Suddenly, his outfit fell off him. With the 'spear' good and ready to go. "Just the one that matters. So, what do you say?"

Most women might scream, either joy or embarrassment.

"...Hm." With a smile and a slight redness in her cheeks, Scatach dematerialized her own weapons and her hands grabbed her own outfit. "Well then. It would be rude for me to not comply with the challengers demands. Though let it be known 'boy'," Scathach then gave a sensual walk as she went towards her student. "Those who enter and become 'men' always be the subservient one."

"Oh. We'll see about that." With a grin, Scathach began getting ready and began peeling off her own outfit.

"Woah there!" Suddenly the entire area glitched and soon Scathach found herself back in Chaldea. Where she had been in the process of taking off her top with the women around her either blushing like the Lily Servants, or being interested like Circe and Mordred. The former giggling herself. As for Da Vinci, she held the helmet and just looked at her in surprise.

"Just what did you see?" She asked, having not expected Scathach to do that.

"Tch." Instead, she got a click from her tongue as the Lancer left the group in disatisfaction. "Third wheel." Best to find the actual Cu anyway. Licking her lips, she realized it has indeed been a long time since she actually did the deed. Time to have some fun now that she's summoned. Wiggling her hips and butt a bit with the women watching in surprise.

"Gatcha!" With Altria (Lily) quickly taking the helmet and putting it on. "Huh." Then spoke in confusion. "Merlin. Why are you here? And why are you taking your robe off-...Gah!"

"Hm. Did you hear that?" Hans asked Shakespear as the two were busy writing down future stories.

"I don't think so." Shakespear responds before shrugging. "Must be our imagination."

"Or it could be trouble." EMIYA Archer tells them, as currently the three and a few others are in the kitchen. The Archer himself did some cooking while the two writers did their thing. Serving some warm drinks to the human workers before going back to do his job. "Regardless, it sure is quiet here."

"Umu." Nero, who is nearby, says with a nod. "With the Masters gone back home, it sure feels like there's no adventure."

"Yes." Tamano sips some warm hot chocolate. "While they're not Hakuno, I admit to missing them for a bit."

"I suppose so, but this is good for them." Arturia herself agrees as the Saber eats some of EMIYA's cooking. "I mean, they spent so long fighting for the world. It's best they get some relaxation with their family."

"Not to mention Olga as well." Mash herself then spoke up. "I hear she left Chaldea to get a spa treatment. Apparently she's still feeling off after the voice aided her."

"Uh-hu, whatever." Kid Gil eats his candy. "All while blowing up a planet. Gotta admit, glad we're away from him after he kept us trapped there for so long."

"Amen to that." Martha agrees along with others who were vocal like her. As while the voice showed them many cool things, he did imprison them while showing so many strange worlds. Yikes.

"Oh, which reminds me." This time it's Holmes speaking while sipping some coffee. "I hear Chaldea will now get its new Director soon. Gordolf is his name." EMIYA narrowed his eyes, grabbing a knife. So he's finally coming.

"Why are we getting a new director again?" Arturia asks Holmes. "Isn't Da Vinci the Director." Who does a fine job, even if she is rather eccentric.

"She is, but the UN wants a human Director, not a Servant who could vanish if something were to happen." Holmes tells her before putting his pipe in his mouth. "The official story anyway."

"Guess we better just accept it then." Tamano relies. "Honestly, I suppose it's not such a big deal to be getting a new Director. Although, didn't that Sieg and Siegfried person alongside Jeanne act weird when they heard his last name? Something that started with an 'M' or whatever."

"They did act odd I suppose. "Holmes agrees, as when he told the three about the new Director and his last name, they looked shocked all of a sudden. Siegfried and Sieg the most in truth." Oh well, it's probably nothing.

"I just can't wait to see if he's as good a chef as his alternative we saw." Arturia smiles, thinking of the food he made in the show.

"Yes. Yes indeed." EMIYA darkly says as he then looks at his knife which had cut a tomato, now looking like it was bloody. EMIYA certainly couldn't wait for the new Director. Already he prepared good kitchen tools and food when he arrived. Then the moment would come. Certainly.

"Look Hans." Shakespeare then told his small companion. "It looks as if EMIYA is ready for war."

"Yeah. It does." Hans then found a smile on his face. "You think it'll end in tragedy, or some kind of relief for him?"

"Oh. Oh!" The Caster smiled while chuckling. "The 'Hero of Justice' vs the New Director. Hm. Who can say." Though it should make for a good show.

"Man." Olga whined with small tears in her eyes. "I can't believe I'm being replaced!" She then slammed her fist onto the bar, doing her best not to cry at all. "Even when I'm alive, my life sucks!"

"There, there, Director." A small hand patted her back. "Everything will be just fine."

"You...you think so?" Olga asked her little companion, who nodded.

"Of course. I'm sure you'll be fine." The companion answered.

"I...I guess so." Olga says before grabbing another drink. "It's just, being betrayed, trapped in some hellish-place, then being dragged away from that alien thing then taken to that theatre...It all got a little much."

"Which is why you're here relaxing." Her companion told her. "I mean, think of all the stress you've been through." She could. She didn't like it one bit. "Which is why you're taking a break from Chaldea, and travelling around while enjoying the spots. Getting your groove back."

"Yes. Yes, of course." Olga agreed, remembering the spa she was in and how wonderful it felt on her body. The way that man rubbed her shoulders relieving her of so much stress. "And going out and eating these foods is quite delicious." Not to mention the drinks. Soon enough Olga was smiling again. Ah. It felt so good for these vacation days. "I have to admit, you're right. Taking these vacations really will be wonderful."

"I know. After all, I am a genius."

"Of course, of course." Olga says as she then looks down at her small companion. "Although...did you always look like this, Da Vinci." Her companion, Rider-Class Servant, Da Vinci, just tilted her head in a cute manner. "My memories are rather...off, for some reason. But I can't help but feel you shrunk."

"Oh. It's nothing important." The child version of Da Vinci said while giggling. "Just enjoy yourself Olga. You deserve it." No need to explain that due to circumstances, she became separated from the original Da Vinci and all that. Olga needed relaxation, not more stress.

"Got it." Olga accepted it as it was. "Although, I am still worried. Aren't the Cryptor's up already. In fact, you never explained how they managed to awaken after the incident."

"Once we go back to Chaldea, I'll explain everything." Da Vinci told the former Director. "But for now, let's get ice cream." Now that Olga can agree on. The two girls getting up and leaving to get their frozen treats.

A very short Interlude, as I'd rather work on other chapters. In any case, as you've figured out this Interlude is in the future, after they've seen the other worlds. We'll get more of those later, but for now I have some news.

I've seen the reviews, and originally I was going to ignore them as it's usually suggestions or just whiners who want to see something. However, I realized that some of the reviewers weren't whiners, but constructive criticism. And I decided to take it's advice. For the next eight chapters, Chaldea will see different genuine worlds. One Punch Man. MHA. Gumball. Stuff I can think off and all. So none of their alternative selves-for now, because I will do them still, just later.
