As Glitchy headed to her next destination, a Hiker came out of a cave and ran into her. Fearing he may have harmed her, he gave her HM04 which contained strength then left. She arrived in Mahogany Town but, after doing some research found a Pokémon on a route further on she decided she would like to add to her party. However when she tried to leave a man jumped her and 'suggested' she buy one of his 'yummy' Rage Candy Bars for three hundred. She declined but found he wouldn't let her pass so she caved in and bought one. She then tried again to go pass but again he wouldn't let her pass claiming she hadn't seen enough of Johto yet and should slow down and sightsee. He suggested she visit the Lighthouse in Olivine City and the Pharmacy in Cianwood City. Glitchy had to hold back the urge to get Tidus to throw the annoying human roadblock into the nearest tree.
Glitchy reluctantly turned around, gave up on her quest to catch a Skarmory for now and headed back to Ecruteak City to make her way to Olivine City to look at the stupid Lighthouse.
Not long after arriving in Olivine City, Glitchy saw Foxy leave the gym which meant he would have to talk to her about how weak Pokémon suck and Team Rocket suck. Foxy started by saying 'you again' which if Glitchy could get a word in she would have responded with 'well duh Sherlock, we're both aiming for gym badges what did you expect'. He reassured her he wasn't going to battle a wimp like her, a wimp who has defeated his entire team several times with ease, not as if Glitchy cared at this point as she just wanted him to leave. He then went on to talk about the wimpy gym leader who wasn't in the gym but instead at the Lighthouse taking care of a sick Pokémon. She stopped listening to his rant of how weaklings suck for a moment to question how the gym in Mahogany knew visiting the Lighthouse was important. Had he made the Pokémon sick or was this just a coincidence. She snapped out of her train of thoughts when Foxy suggested the gym leader should just let the sick Pokémon die as it was now worthless in his eyes. She held back the urge to deck him in the face twice, once for suggesting the Pokémon in the Lighthouse should die and again for suggesting she train in the Lighthouse to strengthen her team. He pushed her aside and left, Glitchy couldn't wait for the next time he challenged her so she could demolish his team with her weak Pokémon.
Glitchy headed to the Lighthouse and made her way up. Her team battled and defeated the trainers who got in her way on the way to the top of the Lighthouse. They didn't seem to notice how important it was for her to see their gym leader and the sick Pokémon. Reaching the top she found the gym leader, Jasmine, taking care of the sick Pokémon who had been keeping the Lighthouse lit up at the night, the Pokémon being a Ampharos named Amphy. Jasmine asked Glitchy if she would go to the Pharmacy in Cianwood City to retrieve the medicine needed to heal Amphy. Glitchy agreed and made her was back down the Lighthouse to go to Cianwood City.
Tidus helped take Glitchy to Cianwood City using Surf. Arriving at Cianwood City, she headed into the Pharmacy to obtain the medicine Amphy needed. She received the Secret Potion which Glitchy took back to Olivine City to give to Jasmine. Right after exploring a cave just outside the city. Turned out there was nothing there and it was being turned into a Safari Zone so she left.
Upon returning to Olivine City, Glitchy headed back to the Lighthouse and used the elevator to get back to the top floor. She handed Jasmine the Secret Potion to help cure Amphy of their illness. Jasmine gave Amphy the medicine as they wouldn't take anything from anyone but her. The medicine helped Amphy recover and the Lighthouse lit up once more. Jasmine was able to return to her gym now that Amphy had fully recovered. Job well done, Glitchy left the Lighthouse. Once outside she immediately received a phone call from Baoba, a strange man who insisted she take his phone number during her travels to Olivine City. He informed her the Safari Zone in Cianwood City was now open for business should she want to have a little visit. Giving that she was planning on heading back to Cianwood City to explore a little more now that Amphy had recovered she decided she may as well. She left Olivine City and headed back to Cianwood City.
