Hello, have fun with the chapter! It's short though.

Annabeth got out of her bed and checked her calendar, inside she found a pair of ice skates. As she was eating breakfast, her phone started to ring. It was an unknown number, but she answered anyway. "Hello?"

"Hey Annabeth, it's Luke."

"Om mey chuke." She said, through a mouthful of cereal.

"What?"

She swallowed, "Hi Luke. How you doing?"

"I'm good. How are you? You haven't come to your senses about our date yet have you?"

"I'm alright, and no, not yet." She laughed, putting her bowl in the dishwasher.

"Well that's good for me. Are you free this afternoon?"

"Yep."

"Great, can you meet me by the gazebo at 2?"

"Okay."

"Awesome, see you then." Annabeth hung up the phone and went upstairs to brush her teeth.

Annabeth stood, with her back leaning against the gazebo, as she waited for Luke. She spotted him walking towards her, so she wandered in his direction. "Hi."

"Hey." He smiled, "You ready to go?"

"Go where?"

"You'll find out when we get there." He smirked mischievously, as they started to head away from the centre of town. While they walked, Annabeth wracked her brains as to where they could be going, but she had nothing. She was absolutely clueless, which was not a feeling she was used to, nor did she enjoy it.

After around seven minutes of walking and your average first date chat, she finally gave in. "Okay seriously where are we going?"

"Right here." They turned a corner, and, in the Delphi park, an olympic size ice rink was set up, with a load of people skating on it. "You like skating?"

"How did I not know about this? I've lived in this town my entire life." Annabeth asked in disbelief.

"Well it's new. I know the person who set it up and he told me about it."

"Cool." She nodded as they each grabbed a pair of ice skates. "Fair warning though, I am not very good at this."

"I can teach you then."

"Good." She smiled, lacing up her skates.

They shuffled their way to the entrance, and slid onto the rink, where Annabeth immediately slipped and fell down. "Ow."

"Let me help you." Luke held out his hand, which she prominently grasped, and he pulled her up. She once again slipped, but rather than falling on her ass, she fell into Luke, who kept a hold of her and helped her to stand up. "Okay, hold onto the railing." Annabeth did as she was told, and clutched the metal railing around the side of the rink, using it to stop her from tumbling down again. "Good. Now just slide one foot forward, then the next, and use the railing to pull you along."

"I think I'm doing it." She said, moving at a speed of a meter a day.

"You are." Luke grinned, "Do you want to try it without holding on to the rail?"

"Yea-NOPE!" She yelled as she started to let go and instantly fall. Luke grabbed onto her arm to stop her from slipping, and she gratefully clung to his wrist. "Thank you."

"No problem."

After twenty minutes of that, Annabeth finally managed to let go and not fall. She slowly slid along the ice, gripping onto Luke's arm, before proudly releasing him and gliding two metres. Then she went back to holding the rails. "I did it!"

"Well done." He laughed, "Do you think you can make it the whole way over there?" He pointed to the opposite side of the ice rink. It was in the shape of a rectangle, and Annabeth was going to have to go along the long side.

"Imma try." She pushed off the edge, and making sure she was next to the wall the whole time, slid across the ice rink. The blonde was doing so well, and was almost at the end, but then someone cut in front of her, and she started to lose her balance. She crashed into the wall and fell onto her ass, whacking her elbow against the wall. "Fuck that hurt." She groaned, rubbing her elbow.

A shadow appeared over her head, "You alright down there?"

Annabeth looked up, and was met with Percy's half concerned, half amused face. "I'm just great." She pulled herself up using the railing, "Thanks for asking."

"Annabeth!" Luke skated over to them, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Just a little bit bruised." Understatement of the century.

"You sure?"

"Yup." She turned to the guy on the other side of the rail, "Percy, this is Luke, Luke, this is Percy, my unhelpful friend."

"Nice to meet you." Percy smirked, still slightly laughing at Annabeth.

"You too. Annabeth maybe it's time we call it a day? Go get some hot chocolate?"

"That sounds great." She agreed, excited at the thought of taking off her skates. "See you later Percy."

"See ya ice queen." He smirked, whilst Annabeth stuck her tongue out at him.

Alexandra Goddess of Heroes: Lol

dodoking666: And we are back to late updates. I'm not good at this. But oh well. I listen to pretty much anything lol. Just look at the songs I used for Love is Easy, that's a pretty accurate portrayal.

Kaden Flores: Glad you liked it. Yes I will continue College Roommates once this is over, the next chaoter will probably be sometime in January.

Yoshi133: Oh you think he's nice now? Just wait until you see where I'm going with College Roommates - he's a flipping saint. Well I maybe wouldn't go that far, but he's pretty nice. And the only reason he's a doctor is becasue of the movie this is inspried by - the alternate love interest is a doctor.

Poseidon1702: Indeed. Plus without something else going on I don't know how I would fill 25 days worth of story.

MilaKuhn: Thank you! I will go back and fix that.

joshannis12345: I know! I'm sorry! But the alternate love interest in the movie this is inspired by is a doctor so I'm just copying from that.

nothing could go wrong: Thank you!

ya67890: Thanks!

Anna Robbins: Get strapped in, there's a whole lot more Luke coming up.
