Note: This chapter will only make since if you read my "What Happened: One Shot" book and the chapter titled, 'The Journal'. Just wanted to let you know so you understand what's going on.

Alexander Belos turned around and saw Luz standing there.

"Please don't tell me you've died." He said.

"No, I haven't died. I used a spell that you outlawed." Luz said, "But I might die if you don't help me."

"Wow, you are desperate. Asking the person you killed." He said, "Desperate, but focused. You get that from your mother and I. I'll let you decide from which parent each one comes from."

"You seem..."

"What? Sane? Being here caused me to regain my sanity." He walked closer to Luz. He kneeled down and placed hands on her shoulders, "You've grown so much."

Luz reached up and grabbed his mask. She slowly takes the mask off his face and dropped it on the floor. She looked at her father's face for the first time. He had light skin, brown hair with a brown beard, pointed ears, one gold eye and one eye covered with an eyepatch. This... this was her dad.

"Papá." Luz said with tears in her eyes.

"Luz." He pulled her in a hug, "I'm so sorry."

"I know, Mami and I read your journal."

He broke the hug and looked at her. He placed a glove hand on her cheek and wiped one of her tears away.

"You're just as beautiful as your mother." He said, tears forming in his eyes, "How is your mother?"

"She's... good. She's retired and lives a peaceful life. What is this place?"

"This is the Realm of the Dead. Anyone that set foot on the Isles will end up here when they die. Just like in the living world, I'm the Emperor of this place, only this time... I rule with a merciful ideology. I am not longer a tyrant, more of a peaceful King. Something tells me you didn't come by to catch up with your old man."

"You're right, I need your help."

"What, do I have to be a father and threaten someone that's flirting with you?"

"Honestly, I wish it was that simple. I need your help with someone trying to take over the Isles."

Belos walked over and grabbed his staff.

"Okay, who hurt my daughter?"

"The same man that made you blind in one eye."

Belos face dropped at the response.

"Nathaniel." He growled. He walked back to Luz, "What did he do to you?"

He started checking Luz's limbs for injuries.

"I am fine, it's my friends and family that he's hurt. He's been watching me and my cousin since we were kids. He ordered the Blights to perform experiments on humans and witches."

"What kind of experiments?"

"He replaced the hearts of three human girls with the hearts of witches. He used some of the demons you released to create toxic weapons."

Belos walked over and sat in the throne. He motioned for Luz to continue.

"The past couple of weeks, he's made his return. He's killed almost 5 dozen people, kidnapped my daughter, forced the child of two Coven leaders to help him by kidnapping her parents, one of which is still missing, and he cut my wife's arm off."

Alexander went into Emperor mode and started asking important questions.

"What have you done to secure the other Coven leaders? And which leaders were kidnapped?"

"I have placed around the clock security for the remaining Coven leaders, several of them are married to the girls that were experimented. The leaders that were kidnapped are the Potion and Plant leaders. At the moment, the Potion leader is in the medical wing and we are still searching for her wife."

"These girls you spoke of, the ones he experimented on, tell me about them."

"Tracey, Heather, and Emelina. They-"

"Emelina? As in Carmelo's daughter?"

"Y-yes. You've met her?"

"Once, she saw a newborn. Not only have I hurt my own daughter but my niece as well."

"What happened wasn't your fault. You thought he was dead."

"Tell me more."

"Tracey is married to the Construction Coven Leader; she owns a popular plant store and is a part of the Plant Coven... in a way, Coven rules have changed in the last two decades."

"You've changed a lot, Luz... like a true Emperor, you are putting the Isles before yourself. Continue."

"There's Heather, she is married to the Healing Coven leader as well as the Best Healer on the Isles, Kat's really good, she helped deliver my daughter; She's a part of the Illusion Coven and currently pregnant."

"So, she has two spouses, good for her. I wish her well in motherhood."

"Lastly, there's Emelina. She is the Oracle Coven leader as well as the Isles best Beast Trainer. She is married to a member of the Plant Coven and has twins."

Belos looked at his gloved hands.

"How could I let this happen? I should've made sure he was dead. Those poor girls."

"Dad, it's not your fault. I'm the Emperor, if anything it's mine."

"Luz... how can you forgive me so easily. I've done nothing for you except hurt you."

"I won't lie, it took a long time for me to forgive you. After I... after I murdered you-"

"Which was better than what I deserve."

"Quiet. After that, I was... not myself, I killed someone. I killed my own father; I hid it as well as I could but eventually, I caved. I hated you, for a long time I didn't even refer to you as my father, I just referred to you as the Former Emperor. Then it happened." Luz held her left hand up. She has her white gloves with the ring finger's cut off, Belos say it. The ring that he gave her, "You remembered my birthday. That journal proved that you were someone that was hurting as well. After that it still took me years to fully forgive you. But... I finally understood you."

"Then maybe..." He stood up and put a hand on Luz's shoulder, "Maybe it's time I finally do something good for once."

"So, you'll help me?"

"You're my daughter, I would fight the Titan for you. Now listen carefully, this is what you need to do."
