The sister stood side by side as their father stood next to him and Commodore Norrington stood beside him as the Official was reading a proclamation. Jack Sparrow , be it known that you have…" Madelyn looked at Jack as he mumbled something she couldn't make out as the Official continued. "For your willful commission of crimes against the crown. Said crimes being numerous in quantity and sinister in nature, the most egregious of these to be cited herewith, piracy, smuggling…

"This is wrong." Elizabeth said.

"It is." Madelyn agreed.

"Commodore Norrington is bound by the law. As are we all." Their father told them.

"Impersonating an officer of the Spanish Royal Navy, impersonating a cleric of the Church of England?" The Official continued to speak. "Sailing under false colors, arson, kidnapping, looting, poaching, brigandage, pilfering, depravity, depredation, and general lawlessness. And for these crimes you have been sentenced to be, on this day, hung by the neck until dead. May God have mercy on your soul."

Then Will came towards them as greeted them. "Governor Swann. Commodore. Madelyn. Elizabeth. I should have told you every day from the moment I met you. I love you." Will confessed as then he walked away as the noose is put around Jack's neck.

Then the sisters noticed the Cotton's parrot as Elizabeth gasped. "I can't breathe." She falls backwards as they could hear the drums.

"Elizabeth." Their father gasped as he and the Commodore Norrington help her, Madelyn knew already that it was fake, but kneeled still beside her sister.

"Move!" Will shouted as the drums stopped and he throws sword as Jack falls through, the sword sticks in the wood and Jack has a foothold. Then he fights to the gallows and there cuts Jack free. They fight all the way up to a tower where they are cornered by Commodore Norrington's men.

Commodore Norrington walked forwards to Will. "I thought we might have to endure some manner of ill-conceived escape attempt but not from you."

"On our return to Port Royal, I granted you clemency." Governor Swann spoke to Will. "And this is how you thank me? By throwing in your lot with him? He's a pirate!"

"And a good man." Will dropped his sword as Jack points to himself proudly, mouths 'That's me.' "If all I have achieved here is that the hangman will earn two pairs of boots instead of one, so be it. At least my conscience will be clear."

"You forget your place, Turner." Commodore Norrington snarled.

"It's right here. Between you and Jack." Will told him, determinedly.

"As is mine." Madelyn stepped forwards and stood by the boys.

"Madelyn." Governor Swann gasped.

"As is mine." Elizabeth also stepped forwards and stood next to Will.

"Elizabeth!" Governor Swann gasped again as then he told to Commodore Norrington's men. "Lower your weapons. For goodness sake put them down!" The men put down their weapons.

"So this is where your heart truly lies, then?" Commodore Norrington looked at Elizabeth.

"It is." Elizabeth nodded to him.

Then Jack noticed the parrot. "Well! I'm actually feeling rather good about this." Then he looked at Governor Swann. "I think we've all arrived at a very special place, eh? Spiritually? Ecumenically? Grammatically?" Then he looked at Commodore Norrington. "I want you to know that I was rooting for you, mate. Know that." Then he looked at Madelyn. "Come with me." He offered her.

Madelyn looked surprised at him as then she looked at her father, who sighed knowing what she would do and he nodded to her. Then she looked back at Jack. "I will." She stepped beside him, she had made her decision.

Then he looked at Elizabeth. "Elizabeth, it would never have worked between us, darling." He told her as Elizabeth rolled with her eyes. "I'm sorry." Then he looked at Will. "Will, nice hat." He pulled Madelyn with him. "Friends! This is the day that you will always remember as the day that…" Just then they fall over battlement and into the water.

Then they saw the Black Pearl and they went to swum to it. Then they landed with a thud on deck, the force of the crew's heave on the lifeline to then having them right out of the water and up high into the air. Madelyn stood quickly up as she was still in her dress and hoped for others clothes to put on soon as Jack gathered his bearings and looked at Gibbs. " I thought you were supposed to keep to the Code." He stated.

"We figured they were more actual… Guidelines." Gibbs told him as then he helped him up.

Madelyn muttered to herself. "Freedom." Then she looked around to ship and smiled to herself.

Cotton handed him his hat. "Thank you." Jack told him.

"Captain Sparrow." Anamaria put his coat around his shoulders. "The Black Pearl is yours."

Jack walked over to the helm and looks around fondly. "On deck, you scabrous dogs! Man the braces! Let down and haul to run free." He ordered them as he let Madelyn stand beside him as she had much to learn for on the ship. "Now...bring me that horizon." He muttered to himself, then he hummed and takes out his compass. "And really bad eggs." He said as he looked at it and had his heading as then he smirked. "Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho."
