Chapter 9:- The Princess & her Pride

Luna: Noooooraaaaaaaaaa~~ *She called out loudly as she spun around on her computer chair as the light pink haired princess was in her large room. The girl would stop and head out to the balcony outside of her room and look out to see the sight of a massive forest and the massive city of Holographic could be seen from afar. The girl would look back into her room as she pouted as the sight of Marine was seen playing with the Nintendo Switch in Luna's room* Captain!
Marine: Hmm?
Luna: Where is Yuuya?
Marine: I don't know, he left this universe a few days ago. He has to save the other multiverse, why?
Luna: I wanted to play games with him, nora…
Marine: I can play with you.
Luna:...I miss him, nora…
Marine: Oi..
Luna: Do you think he'll come back?
Marine: Maybe? I don't know. Why don't you ask Mio-senpai?
Luna: Mio-senpai? Ah, I guess she might know him better than us, nanora.
Marine: Yup.
Luna: Maybe I'll call Ange-san, nanora.
Marine: Ange-san? Why would you call her?
Luna: She knows magic like Yuuya.
Marine: Just gonna call her for that sort of reason?!
Luna: Nanora!
As Luna said happily, a powerful gust of wind would blow into the room and blew a large leaf at Marine's face as the girl would then grab the leaf and put it down as she looked out at the balcony as she gasped and her eyes widened at the sight of a massive portal opening above the forest in front of Luna's castle. Marine would lightly tap Luna's lap as the girl was on the phone as the princess would smack Luna's hand away as Marine got irritated and poked the side of Luna's stomach, causing her to drop her phone from the sudden tickle.
Luna: Ahh! Haha! What are you doing, nora?!
Marine: Look outside you Peach! *As Marine shouted and grabbed Luna's head and turned her face outside, Luna's eyes widened at the sight of a massive mechanical silver and blue Elk coming through the portal as it had large numbers of "funnel" like weapons flying all around it as it stared at the castle* N-Not good…
The massive machine beast would gallop straight towards the castle as the two girls panicked but the beast would hit a barrier that is over the castle walls as it would then fire its beams from its funnels at the barrier. Marine and Luna would then quickly get out of the room as they ran and half way through as the two were running, Marine was losing her breath as Luna got frustrated and would grab hold of Marine's hand and drag her to the elevator and went down to the lower levels as the sight of Luna's knights along with Ange Katrina were seen fighting against the massive Elk from within the barrier as they were firing their long range weapons at the giant machine beast while Ange was firing powerful magical shots at the machine but the attacks were ineffective.
Ange: *She slapped her thigh as she got frustrated as her most powerful attacks could not even scratch the armour of the machine* Ahh! This is so irritating!
Kanae: Maybe you should watch Fullmetal Alchemist and learn a few things. *He said as he fired his gatling gun at the machine beast*
Ange: Shut up.
The elk's horns would slowly pierce through Ange's powerful barrier as everyone panicked and down at the entrance of the castle, the sight of Luna was seen as she gasped at the sight of her army of knights were doing little to no damage against the beast while Marine was slowly walking up to Luna from behind as she would then fall to the ground due to exhaustion. Luna panicked as she called out to all of the guards along with Ange and Kanae to fall back into the castle as everyone did as they were told and would run back into the castle as Kanae would then grab hold of Marine and run as he carried her as he had a struggled look on his face.
Kanae: J-Jeez! How much do you weigh?!
Marine: Wha-?! Well I'm sorry that I'm "fat"!
Kanae: Oh don't worry about it, I've handled them before.
Marine: *She blushed out of embarrassment as she lightly hit the man's head* Dummy!
A massive explosion would hit the back of the elk as Noel saw the sight of creatures within the air as they were attacking the machine beast's back as the girl then noticed that the monster in the air were Wargreymon, Metalgarurumon along with Paildramon and Rayquaza in its mega form.
Noel: Eh?! Digimon? W-What are they doing here?!
Knight: Ma'am! We need to evacuate the building!
Noel: R-Right! How's the barrier holding up?
Knight: It won't last any longer if it's just going to thrust its horns deeper into the castle!
Noel: I-I don't like the sound of that! Sounds erotic!
Knight: I realised what I just said but I'm not going to deny it, Ma'am!
Noel: Good for you!
On the other end of the forest, the sight of Yuuya was seen sitting on top of a tall tree branch as he was looking at the Elk pushing its horns into the barrier while it was being attacked by the Digimons and Pokemon.
Yuuya: As expected of the leader of the Machine Beast swarm The CandraSacredBeast Fanatech-Elk. Shan doesn't play around when he wants to accomplish his goals, but just because that thing has "Heavy Ultra Armour", doesn't mean it's as powerful as my Tiger. *As he said, the sight of Revol-Tiger Z was seen as the red armoured machine animal would charge towards the Elk and bite its neck as its cannons on its back would aim at the head of the machine beast and fired a powerful red beam of light that sliced through the Elk's head and completely destroyed it before it could enter the barrier* Done.
Within the passing moments as Luna's castle would return back to normal and the knights would try to remove the body of the Elk away from the walls, Yuuya was then seen walking on top of the Elk's body and was heading into the castle. As the boy entered the castle and jumped off of the machine beast's corpse, he landed right in front of Luna and the others as he snapped his fingers and the entire body of the Elk would then fall apart into small pieces that could be easily carried by Luna's knights.
Ange: Yuuya-kun, what was that thing?
Yuuya: What? You've never seen an Elk before?
Ange: Not one that seems like it was made for Monster Hunter.
Yuuya: Well that thing is one of the powerful leaders of the Machine Swarms that are out there in the multiverse. The Android Swarm was defeated a few years ago and that Elk right there was the last of its kind of the Machine Beast Swarm.
Kanae: What was their source?
Yuuya: Shan Vile. Merkava. The man who had almost taken control of the entire universe.
Luna: Is he dead?
Yuuya: Nope, couldn't kill him. He's that tough.
Marine: H-Hold up! If he's still alive then that means he'll come back!
Yuuya: The chances are there but he's locked up in the Underworld, the likelihood of him escaping from that realm is quite low. Security there is very high.
Luna: Will there be other attacks, nora?
Yuuya: Oh yes. The main objective of the Machine Swarm is to eradicate all life in all universes, if one faction of the swarm is unable to achieve such victory in one universe, they will head to a different universe and then return in a few years to that same universe that they failed to conquer, like right now.
Flare: Right now? What do you mean? *Yuuya then pointed up above as everyone would stare up into the sky and saw the sight of a massive black portal opening above Luna's castle. Everyone except Yuuya panicked as the sight of massive dragons that were armoured in bright silver and white armour were seen coming out of the portal*
Yuuya: Oh? Armour Dragons, huh? They finally sent out the Preservers.
Noel: Preservers?! Those things are dragons!
Yuuya: I know.
Noel: Why aren't you doing anything about them?!
Yuuya: It's fine.
Noel: How can you be so relaxed?!
Kanae: B-Because he doesn't care?
Yuuya: That's true.
Ange: Then care about it! Our lives are at stake here!
Luna: *She pouted and clicked her tongue multiple times as she lightly pulled Yuuya's sleeve and looked at the boy* Please take care of them, nora?
Yuuya: Sure thing, Princess. *He snapped his fingers as the portal would then close as the sight of the smaller Armoured Dragons that were flying around the castle would then get destroyed by piercing arrow shots that Yuuya fired out from his finger tips* Done.
Luna: Thank you so much, nanora~
Yuuya: *He sighed softly as he would then turn away and walk out of the castle* I'll be leaving then.
Luna: W-Where are you going?
Yuuya: To the city.
Luna: S-Stay here for a while, please?
Yuuya: Why?
Luna: To play games with me, nanora!
Yuuya: I hope you know that if I were to play games with you, you can't stream it.
Luna: Of course I know that!
Kanae: I'd want in on that. Let's play Apex.
Ange: You guys and your games.
Kanae: Says the one who groped me while I passed out during our last game session.
Ange: Hahaha! I did that as a joke and I wanted to try something!
Kanae: Sexual harassment!
Yuuya: You two, handle your flirting elsewhere or I'll tell Hoshikawa.
Kanae: Hoshikawa? Oh her. What does this have to do with her?
Yuuya: Just saying. *He said as he smirked at Kanae as he would enter the castle with Luna and Marine along with Noel and Flare as Ange and Kanae continued to argue outside. Within the passing moments, Noel and Flare would head to the cafeteria within the castle to get something to eat along with Marine while Luna and Yuuya were in Luna's spacious princess-like room and were playing Mario kart together on her Nintendo switch* So why me?
Luna: Hmm?
Yuuya: I'm sure you would have enjoyed gaming with the other girls but yet you chose me. I'm not that great in games. *As he said, the boy got first place in the race as Link*
Luna: Tsk Tsk Tsk! *She clicked her tongue multiple times as she got 5th place from the race* Dummy!
Yuuya: Eh?
Luna: Can't you tell, nora?
Yuuya: Tell what?
Luna: You don't often come here and you know...It'd be nice to be able to spend some time with you, nanora..
Yuuya: Hime..You know that you could've just called. *He said as he took out his phone and showed her the screen as he was calling her on his phone as Luna would then look to the side and grab hold of her phone and noticed that Yuuya was calling her*
Luna: That's not what I meant, nora.
Yuuya: I know what you meant, it's just a little hard for me to continuously come over and visit if I have to save the other worlds from harm.
Luna: I-I know but… *As Luna got depressed, Yuuya would place a hand on the girl's head lightly as the two would teleport to the bed as the two were lying down on the bed together and as Luna realised this, she blushed madly as she tried to keep her cool*
Yuuya: I'll do what I can, I promise and you just make sure that you keep your schedule open for me whenever I'm around, okay?
Luna: *She smiled innocently and hugged the boy in bed* Okay!
Yuuya: *He'd lightly poke the girl's nose as he would then get up and get off of the bed* Alright, I need to head to the city for a bit.
Luna: Eh? W-Why?
Yuuya: I'm going to go see the others.
Luna: Oh can I come, nora?
Yuuya: Are you allowed to leave the castle?
Luna: Noel-san doesn't need to know, nanora~
Yuuya: Fine but just make sure you don't cause any trouble, okay?
Luna: Don't worry, Luna won't cause any trouble, nora~! *She said with a big smile on her face as she got out of bed and ran towards Yuuya as she held his hand tightly as the two would teleport right in front of the entrance of the city*
As Yuuya and Luna entered the city together, Luna would hold onto Yuuya's hand and stick close to him as Yuuya was then greeted by the people within the city as there were a large group of girls singing and dancing on a large stage in the middle of the city as the girls were singing the song "Star!".

As Yuuya and Luna walked together, they met up with many of the other Vtubers such as Okayu, Subaru, Mel, Aki and many of the others as all of the girls would follow him while Luna continued to hog him the entire time despite that he was talking to the other girls while walking around the massive city. Within the passing moments, the group met up with the many members of Nijisanji and the other hundreds of Vtubers. As Yuuya got around and met up with Rushia, the girl held hands with Yuuya on the other end and stuck close to him as well as Luna would pull him away from her but Rushia did the same as the two glared at each other.
Rushia: Why are you holding him?
Luna: He promised me that he'll be with me all day today, nanora~
Rushia: Oh? But he promised me that he'll sleep in my home when he comes back.
Luna: H-He saved my life from a giant beast!
Rushia: He saved me from my trauma!
Luna: H-He uh….
Okayu: He gave me a kiss~ *She joined in the argument with a smug-like smile on her face as she looked at both Luna and Rushia as Yuuya paid no attention to them and continued walking while the others listened*
Luna: Huh?
Rushia: A kiss? *Both Luna and Rushia would then turn and let go of Yuuya as they stared at Okayu with the intent to kill while the cat girl smiled and stick close to Yuuya* Why would you kiss him?
Okayu: No no~ He kissed me~
Luna: Is this true, Yuuyan?
Yuuya: Of course not. Besides, why would you listen to her? You know that she's a very sly person to begin with.
Okayu: Usopyon~~ {Just kidding~~} *She said as she held Yuuya's hand and as Yuuya stopped walking, he looked up ahead and saw the sight of Aqua as she was out shopping for groceries. The girl would look to the side and noticed Yuuya*
Aqua: Yuuya-kun?
Yuuya:...Rushia.
Rushia: Yes?
Yuuya: Do you like-No...Do you love me?
Rushia: Eh?! W-Well uh….Um… *She blushed as she got embarrassed and stuttered* I...Uh..
Yuuya: So you don't, huh? Okayu.
Okayu: Hm~?
Rushia: Ahh! Okay! Okay! Don't let the cat answer! I do love you! *She said loudly as everyone behind clapped and cheered loudly as they all teased Rushia while the Necromancer blushed madly out of embarrassment as Yuuya would then turn to Rushia and walk up to the girl as he placed both of his hands on her cheeks and look into her eyes closely as she blushed madly* Eh? Y-Yuuya-kun?
Yuuya: You're beautiful. *As the boy said with a straight face, Rushia screamed loudly as she blushed madly and would turn to the back towards Coco and punch the dragon in the stomach and break her knuckles*
Rushia: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! *She screamed in pain after breaking her knuckles*
Coco: Oh! How sad~
Yuuya would then hold onto Rushia's hand and would lightly place his lips on it and as he did, everyone gasped at the sight as Rushia skipped multiple heartbeats as she stared at Yuuya and noticed that her knuckles were then healed. From a distance, Aqua could be seen running towards the two with great speed as Rushia then created a magic barrier and blocked Aqua's path as the Necromancer would hug the boy tightly.
Rushia: You're so sweet~
Aqua: Get your hands off of him!
Rushia: No!
Yuuya: *He turned his head to Okayu* You're right. This is fun.
Moments later, the entire population of Holographic city was having a massive celebration party for Yuuya's return within the city as fireworks were being shot into the air, there were men and women dancing and singing together as they all enjoyed themselves while Yuuya was sitting on top of a roof of a building and was watching everyone but as he was watching, the boy had no smile on his face until he was embraced from the back by a girl with long thick black hair and wolf-like ears on her head as it was none other than Ookami Mio who had hugged the boy from behind and would sit beside him as the two watched the people enjoying themselves.
Mio: It's your "Welcome Home" party, aren't you going to enjoy yourself?
Yuuya: I can't do that.
Mio: Why not?
Yuuya: I don't deserve to have a home here.
Mio: Eh?
Yuuya: Over a quarter of a million of lives were lost during the First Impact and I knew it was coming but didn't do anything to stop it, I seriously don't deserve to be here with everyone.
Mio: *She lightly flicked the boy's forehead* Stupid. You can't say that. What happened in the past may hurt you now and in the future but you cannot change that fact. What matters now is that you have already saved the lives here and that you gave everyone here a future that they can see. There's no need to think about what had happened before, if God decided to kill us then there is nothing that we can do as it is our fate. You can change your destiny but not your fate, Yuu-chan.
Yuuya: Mio..
Mio: So just enjoy yourself! Mybe you can't eat or drink but I'm sure there's like a spell or something that will give you the ability to taste at least.
Yuuya: W-Why are you so eager to have me eat and drink? You've been asking this ever since I stayed over at your apartment.
Mio: Th-That's because I want you to try my cooking! *She said loudly as she blushed out of embarrassment as Yuuya lso blushed slightly and nodded*
Yuuya: O-Okay then, I'll try and find something..
Mio: That's good~ But how long do you plan to stay?
Yuuya: Well..How long do you want me to stay?
Mio: Eh? Y-You're asking m-m-me? *She stuttered as she got flustered*
Yuuya: Yes, I am.
Mio: Uh….Um...I can't be selfish, you need to go save the universe after all, so just stay as long as you like! *She said with a smile on her face as Yuuya smiled back and the two would get up and head down to the party with everyone else.
"If I could, I'd stay here forever. I feel like I have found a proper home after so many years of travelling through the multiverse. This is a nice place to be in. Kind people, comfortable planet with no problems whatsoever. Though, nothing in life can be perfect." Yuuya thought to himself within the darkness that shrouded his mind as the sound of a dragon's roar was then heard coming from the darkness.

The story that started in this part of the chapter took place two weeks after chapter 8 and each time Yuuya travels to a different universe, he has gone over 15 years into the future of an alternate time and 35 years into the past from his current time which in normal terms, he has been travelling in time to go through the multidimensional universes like Shan and his army but has yet to perfect the ability.
