Here the story starts
(Flashback starts)
Diya was living all alone in Bangalore and she was working as college professor at morning and at night , she would teach poor children without any fees. Diya was very glad to see the children studying and learning something. Diya was loving her job as teacher for small kids and college students. One thursday morning, Diya was teaching her students in the college, suddenly there was a knock on the door and Diya and her students see at the door and see police officers and the collage principal. Diya ask
Diya - How may I help you?
Police officer - Are you Diya Shetty?
Diya - Yes, that's me. How can I help you officer
Police officer - You are under arrest so don't even try to escape from us
Diya - But why? What did I do that you are arresting me?
Police officer - Rest we will talk in station
Diya -
Diya was packing her stuffs and the principal comes to her and say
Principal - Don't worry Diya, I will let your family know about this
Diya - It's sir, I will manage everything myself but can you please keep some teacher for them (seeing the students) they are doing great, if you leave it now, they could not complete the course this term
Principal - I will see a teacher until you come back
Diya - Thank you sir
Diya follow the police officers. Diya was not scared or ashamed because she knew she did not do anything wrong. At the police station, Diya was enquire about a murder, two attempts of killing and three threatening of killing. Diya was not understanding anything but she knows that she was being framed for something she didn't do. Diya ask
Diya - Can I please call someone?
Police officer - Whom do you want to call? (strictly)
Diya - My friend, he is a police officer too
Police officer - Call in front of us and speaker (giving her phone )
Diya -
Diya calls for Jai and Jai picks up the call and say
Jai - Hey girlfriend, you called me at the right time, I was planning to have my lunch
Diya - I don't damn care about your lunch time (irritated)
Jai - What happened Diya? Your voice is different than usual
Diya - I need you here with a lawyer
Jai - What happened? (seriously)
Diya told everything to Jai, Jai ask
Jai - Who is the officer handling the case?
Police officer - Jai, I'm senior inspector Santosh from CID Bangalore.
Jai - Good afternoon sir. Sir I think you have caught the wrong person
Santosh - Why do you say that?
Jai - Diya is not capable of hurting anyone and killing someone is out of her books
Santosh - How do you believe her?
Jai - I know her since my childhood days and she is almost like my elder sister. I know her very well and she is not a girl like that.
Santosh - All the evidence is against her. Her phone was tracked near the crime spot. She has sent two mask person to kill the died person's friends and andwshe has sent threatening letters to died person's friends.
Jai - Sir, Diya is not that type of girl, someone is trying to frame her in this
Santosh - Who would do that and why?
Jai - I have no idea but can you please tell me who died
Santosh - Mr. Ajay Agrawal
Jai - Ajay Agrawal?
Santosh - Yes, he is the son of bangalore CM's son. His wife filed the case against Diya
Jai - I think you should contact CID senior inspector Daya for this case
Santosh - Why? (confused )

In Mumbai, Jai was driving his car to CID beauro, he had meet lots of times for cases but they never tried to be personal, they both just did their jobs as professional and parted their ways but now he has to go personally for Diya's sake because he knew only Daya can save her from this nasty mess. Jai's car stopped in front of CID beauro, the CID beauro where he hates to enter no matter what but he has to do it for Diya's sake. Jai enter the CID beauro and see Daya was not in his desk so he guessed to wait until he meets him. Freddy and Vivek enter the beauro and see Jai and ask
Freddy - Jai what brings you here?
Jai see Freddy and say
Jai - Came to see Daya sir for a work but I can't find him
Vivek - Daya and Abhijeet sir must be in ACP sir cabin
Jai follow them and they were right, Daya was with Abhijeet in ACP Pradyuman's cabin. Jai thought to wait until Daya comes out of ACP sir's cabin but right now every second was precious so without knocking he enter ACP sir's cabin. Trio look at Jai shocked because Jai won't come there without a case file but today he has came empty hands. Before trio can ask anything, Jai went to Daya and say
Jai - I need to talk to you in private
Daya - What?
Jai - I need to urgently talk to you in private
Daya - Talk in front of them
Jai - Don't waste our time, every second is precious for Diya
Daya immediately got Jai was here for Diya. Daya ask
Daya - What do you want?
Jai - I can't tell this in front of everyone, please come with me for few minutes only (desperately)
Daya - Say in front of them (firmly)
Jai - I need you to call Bangalore Santosh and tell him that Diya is not capable of killing anyone
Daya - What?
Jai - Call him and say it or else we can't do anything
Daya - How do you know where she is right now?
Jai - Few minutes ago only she called me
Daya - Tell your brother to do it

Daya - She disowned me years ago so her elder brother now is Arjun so it's his job not mine
Jai - He just took care of her because you were being careless (angrily )
Daya - I was calling and texting her whenever I was
Jai - She needed you not your stupid calling and texting
Abhijeet - Don't you both argue. Daya just call Santosh and ask him everything
Daya - Let Arjun do it, it's his responsibility now not mine (angrily )
Jai - When that person is not available forever then how can I ask him
Daya - What do you mean? What happened to Arjun?
Jai - He, his wife and son are no longer in this world
Daya - When? (shocked )
Jai - A year ago they were killed by bhaiya's some wanted criminals so Diya is all your responsibility. I can bail her easily but your college so-called friends are being threatened and one has been murdered or killed so it would be good if you get involved in this
Daya - Who's died? (checking his file )
Jai - Ajay Agrawal
Daya looked at him shocked and Jai say
Jai - He is CM's son and Ajay's wife has filed a case against Diya because of that thing I think so, I just want you to call CID Bangalore and tell the officer that Diya is not that type of person, rest I will manage
Abhijeet - Daya, you should go there and talk to her
Daya - She doesn't want me then why should I help her (stubbornly)
Jai - Because your college friends are dying, if you don't take the action sooner you will regret it
ACP Pradyuman - Daya what Jai is saying is right so go to Bangalore and solve the case and this is my order
Daya - But sir... (got cut by ACP Pradyuman)
ACP Pradyuman - Daya do as I told you and don't return until the case is over there

Jai and Daya went to Daya's and Jai's house and they pack few things and went to Bangalore. In Bangalore, in a cell, Diya was sitting on the bench and keep thinking what happened for last few days. She just hoped that Daya would believe her and help her to get out of this situation but she did not have high hopes too. Suddenly the cell's gate got open and a officer enter the cell with food and say
Officer - Here have your lunch
Diya - I'm not hungry
Officer - I'm keeping the food here (keep it on the floor) when you get hungry have it
Diya -
The officer leaves the cell. Diya sits there quietly and just hoped that Daya would come for her but she was angry on herself for keeping false hopes that her elder brother would come for her rescue but her heart kept saying that Daya would come for her. In car , Daya was driving the car in restlessness. He could not understand why he was getting restless. Jai stamp on the break and Daya look at him angrily and Jai say
Jai - Get out of the driver's seat before you kill both of us before we reach Bangalore
Daya got out of the car and sit in the passenger seat and look out of the window. This was the eighth time that he almost crashed or over-drived the traffic lights . Jai can understand Daya's state right now but he could not do anything or say anything because whenever he tries to talk to Daya, it gets awkward or Daya snaps at him. Daya went into the time when he was accused for a murder case.
(Memory starts)
Diya was planning to go to Mumbai as surprise to Daya. It's been months since saw her bade bhaiya. Diya sits in front of computer and check her train ticket and to her relief the ticket has been confirmed. The next day, Diya was packing her last things in her bag and suddenly there was knock on her door and Diya see Jai and Jai ask
Jai - Ready for bhaiya's love and care paradise?
Diya - I can't wait to see Daya
Jai - Next year we both will be in 12th. I just hope I pass this year or else my bhai will kill me
Diya - Why fear when Diya is here
Jai - So what plans have you made?
Diya - Nothing much. Just some, just spending some quality time with Daya and taking care of him.
Jai - Once in a while, I get confused that if he is older or you
Diya - Once in a while if I become older than him, it's not wrong
Jai - No one can understand you. I will leave you at railway station then go home
Diya - Thanks Jai (smiling )
Jai - Do you have Daya's house address?
Diya - Yeah, I have it
Jai - Let's go then!
Jai drops Diya at railway station and went back to his house where his elder brother was waiting for him. In train, Diya was excitedly reading a crime novel. For half an hour Diya was reading her novel and suddenly someone taps on her shoulder and Diya see a young guy and a old lady and the guy ask
Guy - If you don't mind can I ask you for a help?
Diya - Sure
Guy - This is my grandmother (seeing the old lady) she is travelling alone to Mumbai so can you please help her once in a while?
Diya - I would love to help her with anything.
Guy - Thank you very much. I will leave now dadi (keeping her bag under the seat)
Dadi sit in her seat and they both start to talk about random stuffs and suddenly the dadi ask
Dadi - Why are you going to Mumbai?
Diya - To see my bade bhaiya. He is working as police officer
Dadi - Then how are you living here alone?
Diya - No, I'm living with my friend and his elder brother who is my bhaiya's best friend. I live in my own house. My friend always used to stay overnight.
Dadi - What does your parents do beta?
Diya - I don't have parents, just my elder brother since I was born

Dadi - What time is it?
Diya see her watch and say
Diya - It's 12:30pm
Dadi - Can you please take my bag under the seat?
Diya - No need to ask like that.
Diya helped dadi to have her lunch and other stuffs. After an hour later Diya have her lunch which she bought from the train canteen. Rest of the journey Diya and dadi talked about lots of things. The next day, Diya was very much excited. Diya was reading her book and was looking out of the window every few minutes. Dadi laughs at Diya and say
Dadi - Beta we won't reach until 2pm so relax
Diya - I can't wait to see my bhai
Dadi - I just wish my kids and my grandkids and their family were like you and your bhai
Diya - One day everything will be alright. Some bonding are not close but when other needs each other, the other will stay with other. Sibling rivalry and bonding is all about support when the other needs something
Dadi - I hope your words come true! (smiling )
At evening the train stopped at Mumbai station. Diya helped the dadi to get down from the train and help with her bags. Diya sit with dadi until dadi's son came to pick her up. Diya went to Daya's house. Diya took a taxi to Daya's house. After 45 minutes later, she was in front of a small house. Diya rings the bell but Daya did not open the door so she rings the bell again and after a minute, Diya was shocked to see Daya because she can say something was wrong with Daya. Daya was completely shocked to see Diya. Before Diya can ask anything, Daya dragged her in the house and hugs her tightly and starts to cry. Daya say
Daya - I missed you so much
Diya - It's Daya, I'm here for you no matter what (rubbing his back)
Daya - What are you doing here? (separating from the hug)
Diya - Just came to see you and spend some quality time with you. What happened Daya, is everything alright here? (worried)
Daya - You go and get freshen up then I will tell you everything
Diya -
Diya went to Daya's room to get freshened. Diya went to kitchen and see Daya was a bit upset. Diya sit on the floor and Daya join her few minutes later later with tea and small snacks. They have their tea with silent and Daya ask
Daya - How did your exams go?
Diya - Great. I will go to 12th (confidently)
Daya - Good.
Diya - Is everything Daya?
Daya - Not much. I'm accused for a murder. I don't know what to do. No one believes me
Diya - What happened?
Daya - I was kidnapped for few hours and when I wake up, I was in hospital bed and after few hours later, I was in CID beauro and then I came to know that someone has used my revolver to kill someone and there is no finger prints on the gun , it has my finger prints
Diya - It's a good news
Daya looks at Diya in 'your unbelievable' look. Diya say
Diya - We can have extra quality time together or else I was worried what I would do after you went to work
Daya - I am suspended from my job, now I don't know what to do.
Diya - Don't worry about anything. Until I leave, you got to eat whatever I make.
Daya - I would love that (smiling )
Diya - Come on let's go to beach
Daya - I'm not in mood for anything
Diya - Daya don't spoil our quality time because it is very much rare and soon I will go to college and it will be very hard for both of us to be able to see each other and spend time together so choice between your sad story or our quality time together
Daya just smile and both of them went to beach. Both of them spent most of their time together. Diya kept Daya busy with something so Daya won't feel bad or anything near bad. Daya was very much glad that Diya was with him continually. Every now and then Daya would go to CID beauro for update or investigation. A week later Daya was proved innocent and Diya went back to her home.

Daya comes out of his memory land and see Jai, Jai say
Jai - We have reached Bangalore police station where they have kept Diya
Daya and Jai went into the police station and see Diya. Diya see Daya with defeated eyes and looks down again with a sign. Jai say
Jai - I will go and ask about officer Santosh, until I come try to talk to her about the matter
Before Daya can say anything Jai leave to see Santosh. Daya see Diya and he can clearly say that she has lots of changes from the last time he saw her. Daya ask
Daya - How are you? (without any emotions)
Diya - How do I look for you
Daya can see tiredness on her face. Daya ask
Daya - Did you do it? (without looking at her)
Diya - What do you think?
Daya - Talking to you is a waste of time for me
Diya - Like I wanted to talk to you in the first place.
Daya wait for Jai for minutes and Jai join him with Santosh. Santosh told a constable to open Diya's cell and they went into Santosh cabin. Santosh say
Santosh - Just few minutes ago, Mrs. Agrawal came here to ask me about updates but I just told her that we are doing our work and she was continually said that Diya did it
Jai - Any evidence?
Santosh - There was video cameras and Diya has been recorded in it but she is keep saying that she was not there
Daya - Can we see the video please?
Santosh - Sure
Jai and Daya see the video again and again and they were dumbfounded because they can't believe what they were seeing. Santosh ask
Santosh - Daya, I know what you are thinking but the video can't lie.
Daya - I don't want to handle this case because I am related to Diya so they won't allow me to handle the case so why waste my time and energy so I prefer to stay away from this case
Jai and Diya look at Daya with shock 😲 and Daya continues
Daya - I think I should leave now
Santosh - Thank you so much for coming here Inspector
Jai - Inspector Santosh, can you please leave us alone for a while
Santosh - Sure
Santosh went out of the cabin and Jai see at Daya with anger and shout
Jai - Why the hell did you even come here if you didn't want to help me to bail Diya (angrily 😡)
Daya - I didn't want to come here, you forced me (angrily 😡)
Jai - Why you don't want to help me in Diya's case?
Daya - Because I believe the video because you also know that Diya sleep walks whenever she has anxiety and whenever she has that, she does anything in her sleep and she won't even know what did she do or did. You saw the video, she was sleep walking and you know that they won't let me to handle the case if they came to know that I'm Diya's brother so let's end this topic right now. I think I should leave now
Jai - Answer my question then you can leave
Daya - Ask!
Jai - What are you going to tell your seniors back in Mumbai?
Daya - That I will manage
Jai - Why did you come here if you didn't want to help? (angrily 😡)
Daya - Because you won't let me live in peace
Jai was about to say something, but Diya stopped him by saying
Diya - It's 🆗 Jai, let him go (seeing Daya)
Jai - Just sign the bail papers then you can leave
Daya - So she can kill some of my friends

Daya got up and left the room and heard Jai say

Daya felt hurt to hear Diya's voice but he had to be strong. Daya went to Santosh. After five 🖐️ minutes later, Jai join them and Daya say

Jai - I will stay here and help you with the case

Daya went to a hotel 🏩 and book a room for the evening. In Daya's room, Daya sit on the bed 🛏 against bed rest and think about Diya's case. He can't believe that Diya has done something like this. He could not decide what to believe, the video or his younger sister. He clearly saw that Diya was sleep walking but on the other hand he knew his behen is not capable of killing someone. He remember the days when Diya sleep walk and all he can remember is Diya would harm herself than others. Daya's thoughts were disturbed by a phone call from Abhijeet. Daya answer the call
Daya - Hello Abhijeet
Abhijeet - Hello Daya, have you reached Bangalore?
Daya - Yes
Abhijeet - Have you met your behen and talk about the case?
Daya - Yes
Abhijeet felt something was wrong with Daya and ask
Abhijeet - Is everything OK there?
Daya - Yes (sign heavily)
Abhijeet - Daya, do you want me to come there?
Daya - No. It's just that the case is very much complicated and Ajay's wife is putting too much pressure on the case
Abhijeet - What did Diya say, I mean does she remember anything?
Daya - She said that she did not do it and the video was showing another story

Daya rest his head on the bed rest and think about Diya's case, like that he slept. Daya wakes up by his phone alarm and check the time. It was 9pm 🕘, Daya got refreshed and went down to restaurant and have his dinner, while having dinner he couldn't stop thinking about Diya. After dinner Daya went to his room and pack his bag and went to the train station. Two ✌️ days later in CID beauro, in ACP sir cabin, ACP Pradyuman ask
ACP Pradyuman - Abhijeet did you talk to Daya?
Abhijeet - Yes sir
ACP Pradyuman - Any 🆕 update?
Abhijeet - No sir. After that last call Daya's phone is switched off 📴

Suddenly they hear Freddy saying
Freddy - Daya sir, you are back soon (happily)
ACP Pradyuman and Abhijeet were shocked 😲 to see Daya. Abhijeet went to Daya and say
Abhijeet - Daya come in ACP sir cabin now (ordering tone)
Duo went in ACP Pradyuman sir's cabin and ACP Pradyuman ask

Daya - I didn't want to handle the case so I came back

Daya - Yesterday night
ACP Pradyuman - Did you bail Diya?
Daya - No sir. Ajay's wife is putting too much pressure and I did not want to get involved in Diya's life. They won't let me handle the case if they come to know that I'm Diya's brother so what is the use of staying there so I came back.
ACP Pradyuman - Is Jai is back with you?
Daya - No sir, he said he would stay there until the case is over

Duo - Yes sir
Abhijeet dragged Daya in file room and see Daya and ask
Abhijeet - Say the truth, why did you come back?
Daya - No one can save her and I don't believe in her even a bit

Daya - Abhijeet please don't force me and let us just forget that Diya is in jail

Daya hugs him tightly and cry and say
Daya - I can't help her and if I do, they will kill her and I can't lose her. I just happy that she is happy somewhere so please Abhijeet, let us just forget about Diya
Few weeks later Jai enter CID beauro and went into ACP Pradyuman cabin and see Daya and say
Jai - Here is the last hearing for Diya's case (giving a paper) I did my best but your friends are smarter than I thought. You have one last chance to save her from jail. Here is a another paper (giving another paper and cheque and say) this is a settlement letter. After the court hearing, Diya does not want you in her life forever. She has paid all of your money with interests which you have spent on her. I hope you will live happily now
Jai left the beauro and in ACP sir cabin, Daya sit on the chair and kept looking at the cheque and the settlement letter. ACP Pradyuman and Abhijeet just look at Daya and didn't know what to say to console him. Abhijeet ask
Abhijeet - Sir can we go to the hearing? (seeing ACP Pradyuman)
ACP Pradyuman - Yes. Daya when is the hearing date?
Daya did not answer so Abhijeet took the court letter from Daya and read it carefully and say
Abhijeet - A week later on friday morning at 🔟am 🕙 in Bangalore
ACP Pradyuman - 🆗. At wednesday evening we will leave for Bangalore by train
Abhijeet - Yes sir
ACP Pradyuman - Back to your work, both of you (ordering tone)
Duo went to their desk before the team returns from their lunch break. A week later, Jai was shocked 😲 to see Daya in court with ACP Pradyuman and Abhijeet. Jai went to them and say
Jai - I wasn't expecting that you would come (without looking at Daya) either way, I'm glad you came. If you want to meet her, go to room six. Santosh will be there. I will meet you at hearing
Abhijeet - Thank you Jai
Jai - I didn't have high hopes on him but Diya did even if she knew, Daya might not come. If you will kindly excuse me, I have a court hearing at room eight
Jai went away, trio went to room six and ask Santosh for permission to see Diya and he say
Santosh - Only one can go in and see her
ACP Pradyuman - Daya, you go and see her
Daya just nods his head and went in the room and see Diya was sitting with handcuffs and she was looking at the floor. Daya clear his throat and Diya looked at in disbelief but there was happiness too in her eyes. Diya say
Diya - I thought Jai was lying that he met you
Daya was quite and keep looking at his younger sister. Diya look at her elder brother and say
Diya - I didn't do it Daya. I'm your behen and I won't do anything that would ruin your life.
Daya - Why did you send me that letter and cheque?
Diya - I did not want to keep any debit if I go to jail so I settled everything. I'm sorry that I can not settle one thing with you
Daya look at her confused 😕. Diya say
Diya - The time we spent together as siblings and best friends forever. I wish I could give you back that time
Daya - I never regretted spending time with you
Diya - I forgot to give you something very much important for both of us
Daya - What?
Diya removed her watch ⌚ and give it to Daya and say
Diya - Our parent's last memory. Our parent's blood is running in my body to prove that I'm their daughter so have the watch ⌚. The watch ⌚ belongs to you either way because you are their son and it should not be in criminal hands
Daya take the watch ⌚ and went out of the room, Diya see Daya with sad smile and takes a deep breath of relief and close her eyes and enjoy her last moments of freedom. Daya join ACP Pradyuman and Abhijeet after keeping his dad's watch ⌚ in his pocket. After the court hearing, Diya went with Jai without looking at Daya. In Daya's room, Daya could not stop thinking about Diya and her words. Daya take his father's watch ⌚ and see back of the watch and see a permanent marker writing which he and Diya wrote (D+D=Forever) before he left for Mumbai to join CID. With his thoughts he went to sleep, the next day, Daya went to Diya's work place and was shocked to hear that Diya has quit the job when she was fighting for her innocence and now he didn't know where to find her. He tried to call Jai but Jai's phone was switched off 📴 or not reachable. Few months Jai and Daya met for a case and Daya asked about Diya and Jai said
Jai - I don't know where she is. After leaving the court she left for train and went to Chennai and after that I don't have any clue where she could she be. She has deactivated all of her accounts and she has changed her number.
After that meeting Jai got transferred to Gujarat. Daya never met Jai. Few years later, Abhijeet told him something that shocked him very much that he couldn't believe what Abhijeet was saying.

Daya was feeling guilty for not believing her in first place. Abhijeet ask
Abhijeet - Do you remember what I told you in the hospital 🏥?
Daya - How can I forget that... That only gave me hope that Diya still loves and cares for me.
Duo went into another memory land of their past.
