Animal Crossing In Action: Live At The Island
Chapter 10: Island Representatives Got Kidnapped?
At the dark, deserted island, Natasha and the Deadly Stars were watching the video recently. The first scene was the people and animals were fighting against each other during the Autumn Moon party. The second scene was Riza's henchmen were trying to turn Franklin into a crisp before the Duo of Justice showed up. The third scene was all the residents of Triforce were starting to laugh at Marcus's bad jokes by force due to the laughing gas being activated. The final scene was Sirius and his men were throwing the sleeping cream pies at the employees and customers of Triforce. When the movie ended, the Deadly Stars were laughing so hard that they couldn't stop. Natasha found it impressive, but not very much for her opinion. Sirius and Marissa started to have a chat after the movie was over.
"Geez, Sirius, I wasn't expecting Phantom Angel killed your older brother, Black Krow from two years ago," said Marissa. "You must've been bloodthirsty for revenge, right?"
"Of course, it makes my blood boiled alright!" Sirius exclaimed. "She's going to pay for that anyways! What about you, Marissa? I've heard that you have a little sister, right? And you've never mentioned about her ever since! What was her name again?"
Marissa was getting irritated after what she heard from Sirius's mouth. She was starting to glare at him eye to eye. "Listen, you! Don't you dare comparing me to my little, bratty sister! I don't deserve to be Charlene's big sister anyways!"
"Temper, temper, temper, my fair model...Didn't you get a chance to hear from her ever since?"
"No, we never did ever since last year! Even if something did happened to her, then I would've cared less!"
"Enough, both of you!" Natasha shouted, as she was breaking up the argument between Sirius and Marissa. "Honestly, you two, we have a main goal to focus on!"
"W-We apologized for our inconvenience, Mistress Natasha!" said Sirius and Marissa in unison. "P-Please do forgive us!"
In Triforce Island, Vicki and Robert were building the snowman after all the snow fell from the sky and covered up the ground. Robert put up the medium-sized snowball on top of the large-sized one and Vicki decorated the snowman's face with some coals and the carrot. They were very glad that their snowman was now completed. They decided to take a picture together with the perfectly-made snowman. After that, they sent it to their siblings and friends with their smartphones.
"Well, that should do it," said Vicki happily. "Say, Robert, Toy Day is in about a week or two! What kind of a present do you want?"
"Oh well, um, that's a good question..." Robert replied. "Hmm, I don't really know, to be honest...W-What do you want for Toy Day, Vicki?"
"Ah well...a-anything will be fine with me. J-Just surprise me already?"
"To tell you the truth, Vicki, my thoughts are exactly the same as yours..."
Vicki chuckled nervously. "R-Really, Robert? Well, I guess we don't know what we really want for Toy Day, huh?"
Robert sighed desperately. "I guess not...yet though."
One hour later, Vicki was inside of her house and called one of her best friends, Lorelei on her smartphone. After she dialed her phone number, she waited for her to respond until she picked up the phone.
"Hello?" Lorelei answered on her smartphone.
"Hi, Lorelei," Vicki called, "how are you today?"
"I'm doing well, and you?"
"I'm doing good, thanks. Say, Lorelei, there's something I have to tell you."
"What's that, Vicki?"
Vicki explained the situation to Lorelei that she didn't know of what kind of present Robert wanted for Toy Day. She needed his little sister's help on what kind of gift she could give him. Perhaps, Vicki would ask Lorelei a hint of what Robert liked the most.
"A hint, eh?" Lorelei mumbled softly, as she was trying to think. "Let's see...Oh, I think I remember something!"
"Yes, what is it?" Vicki asked, as she wanted to know the answer from her friend.
"I remembered the time when Robert was so interested in comic books! He would never shut up about them because he's a comic book fan!"
"Oh really? Then, do you remember the title of the comic book he liked or his favorite?"
"Well, he has different sorts of comic books he like, especially in different titles..."
"Does he have a favorite comic book in mind?"
"His favorite comic book, you asked? Ah well...To be honest, Vicki, I never paid attention to him reading comic books. I always ignored him while he was reading them. S-Sorry..."
"Ouch...but oh well! It's fine anyways, Lorelei, and thanks for the hint..."
After Vicki talked to Lorelei on the phone, she hung up her smartphone and lied down on her bed. She learned from Lorelei that Robert liked comic books so much he couldn't stop reading them. But the only problem was she didn't know what his favorite comic book could be. To put that aside, she tried her best to find the best comic book for Robert's Toy Day present.
Meanwhile, Robert was inside of his house and started walking around the couch while he was thinking very hard. Suddenly, something struck his mind so he took out his smartphone to call one of his friends, Nick. He waited for him to pick up his phone until he responded.
"Hello?" Nick answered on his smartphone.
"'Hey Nick!" Robert called. "How was the mayor life in StarLily going so far?"
"Going well, thanks. And how's life in Triforce as the island representative going?"
"Both busy and tired, but I'm getting used to it though. But anyways, that's not important; and the thing is I need your advice if it's possible for you..."
"Okay, dude, so what's the problem?"
Robert explained to Nick that he didn't know of what to give Vicki for Toy Day. The StarLily's mayor asked the Triforce's island representative if he already asked her that question. He told Vicki's little brother that he already did, but she wasn't sure about what kind of gift she wanted. Nick was so slumped about this situation and so did Robert. Until suddenly, he found the solution that could solve Robert's problem.
"Oh, I think I've got an idea!" said Nick enthusiastically. "Although, it may not be the best answer, but it can be quite helpful to you!"
"Sounds alright to me, dude," said Robert. "So, do you know what Vicki likes for Toy Day? Any recommendations will do me good!"
"Well, every time I visited her bedroom, I saw some collection of light novels in her bookshelf. Most of them are anime-based though, which they're driving me crazy by looking through them! Talk about sore eyes..."
"I-I see...do you remember the titles of the light novels?"
"Ugh, not really, Robert...All those titles, she had so far, gave me quite of headache!"
"Oh well...But anyways, thanks for the helpful hint, Nick! I finally know what she really wanted for Toy Day!"
"Hey, no problem at all! Oh yeah, there's one more thing I have to tell you...for your sister, Lorelei's sake."
Robert sighed. "And what could that be?"
"Well, you see...she enforced me to tell you for her that she's in a misery when she always missed out the action between the dynamic duo and the evil forces. I know it's because we're living farther apart from each other, but why not tell her a story or two whenever you have the time? And I'll probably be listening for sure..."
Robert didn't give Nick a reason and refused to explain the whole situation to Lorelei, but instead, he hung up his smartphone this instant. The island representative finally found the clue of what Vicki liked the most for Toy Day. So, he was searching for the best light novel online on his laptop. He didn't care of what the title of the light novels could be, even it was one of Vicki's favorites. He looked up to find of what's number one best light novel or there might be a discount from the regular price.
In the middle of the night, Marissa and her lackeys were on board the ship and started to set off sailing. Magpie flew down on one of her shoulders and asked her of what her plan was. Before the model could respond, she summoned the fog to surround the ship.
"You want to know what my plan is this time?" Marissa asked, winking at Magpie. "Well then, I'll tell you! My objective is to capture every island representative from their own islands!"
"And how do you supposed to do that exactly?" Magpie asked.
"It's very simple! All you have to do is lure them in by giving them a fake invitation."
"Ah, that's an excellent idea, Marissa! You know, not only you're the charming model, but you're also a sly one as your own little sister."
Marissa immediately grabbed Magpie and glared at her in rage. "Don't you dare compare to my sister, you got that?!" she yelled, while she was shaking the evil crow furiously.
"Y-Yeah, I-I think I-I got it now..." Magpie replied, getting dizzy from Marissa's shaking grip. "S-Sorry...I-I should've kept my big beak shut...ahh..."
The next day, Vicki and Robert were having a hot breakfast together inside of Vicki's house. As soo as she turned on the TV, they were watching the morning show while they were eating. Until suddenly, the breaking news appeared and started to interrupt the show. The news reported that the island representatives were gone missing early in the morning. According to the witnesses of the targeted islands, they were taken by the mysterious lady who was in charge of the mysterious ship. The residents believed that they described it as the ghost ship because it was somehow surrounded by the thick fog. They also said she took the island representatives into the ship, started to set sail, and never returned to their own island, which it was way beyond mystery.
"That sounds...like a creepy breaking news to me," said Vicki anxiously. "Oh Robert, I don't want you to get caught by the lady of the ghost ship! Otherwise, you're going to end up like one of the island victims!"
"Vicki, will you calm down already?" Robert asked hoarsely, while his girlfriend hugged him very tightly and started to cry. "Nothing will happen to me right now, so everything will be fine. Do you recall what Wisp said about the mind communication?"
"Oh yeah, I sure do..."
"Exactly! If what the news said is true, then we'll have to make the preparations first!"
Vicki slightly nodded. "Right!"
Few hours later, Vicki and Robert were heading outside to keep a lookout on the ghost ship. They were walking past Sammy and Jimmy who were disguised themselves as snowmen. Their eyes moved to the different direction one way or another while they were looking for the ghost ship, too.
"Sammy, do you think we'll find the ghost ship at anytime?" Jimmy asked.
"Of course we'll find the ghost ship, Jimmy," Sammy replied. "Once the ghost ship will arrive, we'll start recording the video and take a picture of it!"
"Oh yeah!"
Sammy and Jimmy shook off the snow from their arms and gave each a fist to fist in agreement.
One day later, Vicki was looking for the comic book online for Robert's Toy Day present on her laptop. She didn't care what the title it was, but she was searching for either a discounted price or the best-selling comic book. Until she found the perfect one, she ordered it right away. All of the sudden, she heard her smartphone ringing. So, she immediately picked up the phone and answered.
"Hello?" Vicki answered.
"Hey Vicki, it's Lorelei!" Lorelei called on her phone. "Did you hear about the ghost ship yesterday?"
"Yes, I already heard. You saw the news, too?"
"Yeah, I sure did! I've heard that the ghost ship, which it came out of nowhere, just stopped by at the island and waited for the island representative to show up..."
"Then, this island representative came on board and the ghost ship suddenly sets off without letting him or her know..." Vicki added.
"That was just the case, Vicki. Do you know how many island representatives were gone missing during the ghost ship incident?"
"Well, according to the news from today, it's reporting that there are fifty of them missing!"
Lorelei was shocked that there were numerous of island representatives had gone missing. "Oh my, I didn't expect that many! Was my big brother captured, too?!"
"No, no, he's still in Triforce with me. Don't worry about it, Lorelei. I will always keep in touch with him no matter what!"
"Oh, that's good to hear. S-Sorry about that..."
"No, it's fine really. I should be going out with him now. I'll talk to you later, Lorelei!"
After Vicki had a long talk with Lorelei on the phone, she stopped by at Robert's house and knocked on the door. He answered the door and saw Vicki standing by. So, he stepped out of his house and joined her for a walk at the beach. There's still no sign of the ghost ship anywhere while they were strolling at the beach. They didn't even noticed Sammy and Jimmy who were hiding in the bushes this time. They were still looking for the ghost ship, too, but they had no luck either after they moved one place to another.
"Ugh, still no sign of the ghost ship..." Sammy sighed in frustration.
"Why can't we just give it up already?" Jimmy asked.
"You nincompoop, we're not going to give up, understand? Even if it's going to arrive about a month or so, we'll be waiting for it no matter what!"
"Y-Yeah, you're absolutely right! We'll be waiting for the ghost ship even if it takes a long time to arrive!" Jimmy chuckled.
Meanwhile at the ghost ship, Marissa and Magpie were watching the island representatives who were fallen into a deep sleep. The model was looking through the telescope and found the next island as her target. The evil crow looked very closely at the island; and somehow, it looked very familiar to her.
"Say, Marissa, doesn't this island looked awfully familiar to you?" Magpie asked.
"Why yes, of course it does, Magpie!" Marissa answered joyfully. "It's none other than Triforce itself! Let's get there right away!"
"Aye, aye, milady!"
It's been three whole days since the news reported about the ghost ship and the numerous of island representatives went missing. Vicki and Robert were walking around the island as usual while Sammy and Jimmy were hiding behind the trees this time. The duo glanced at the twins and asked them a curious question.
"Guys, what do you think you're doing?" Robert asked, raising his eyebrow at the twins.
"Waiting for the ghost ship to show up, that's what," Sammy answered. "And what are you lovey-dovey geeks up to?"
"We were just, um, taking a day off from improving the island," Vicki replied, as she didn't want the twins to know that she and Robert were searching for the ghost ship as well. That was their secret plan.
"But don't you guys want to see the ghost ship?" Jimmy asked.
"Uh...actually, we don't want to waste our time looking for the ghost ship," Robert answered. "Right now, we have to keep on moving..."
"Okay then, but it's your loss," said Sammy, as he and Jimmy saw Vicki and Robert were walking away from them.
After the small chat with the Slapjack twins, Vicki and Robert immediately crossed their fingers in front of each other without anyone noticing their motives. When they immediately saw the fog over the horizons, this could only mean that the ghost ship was now coming to Triforce. As soon as it arrived, the duo were walking on the pier and started to check it out. Especially, Sammy and Jimmy finally saw the ghost ship with their own eyes. The woman appeared from the ghost ship and smiled at them daintily.
"Hello there, I'm only here for the island representative of this island," said the woman politely. "So, which one of you is the island representative?"
"I am!" Robert answered, as the mysterious lady took him by the hand and brought him to the ghost ship.
Vicki wanted to go with Robert, but the lady of the ghost ship immediately stopped her and pushed her away from it. "Sorry, little girl, only island representatives are allowed to enter the ghost ship."
Sammy and Jimmy took out their smartphones to take a picture of the ghost ship right away. While they were doing that, something knocked down their smartphones from their hands and dropped them on the sand. The twins quickly grabbed their smartphones from losing them, but they noticed that one of their hands got a big scratch and started to bleed. When they didn't realized the pain in their hands, they quickly went home to heal them up. Magpie was watching them go and started to sneer.
"Ha, that should do the trick," said Magpie. "Those nutty twins wouldn't dare interfere our plan! Whatever they're plotting that is, but at least they're so lame..."
As soon as the ghost ship started to depart, Magpie flew to the ship right away. Vicki hurried to follow the ghost ship and see of where it's going. Marissa and Magpie watched her following them, but they completely ignored her and focused on Robert who was now captured by her lackeys.
Vicki quickly used her newly heart compact to disguise herself as the sailor girl. She was still following the ghost ship without losing the sight of it. She leapt over the wooden fence, then one of the airplane's wings, rushed to another wing, and made a big jump to reach the ghost ship. Although, she couldn't reach to the deck; but luckily, she grabbed the end of the rope which it was always hanging around by the round window. She climbed by the rope to reach the window and took a peek to see if anyone's inside. Since nobody's here at the moment, she went through the window and start investigating the ship.
At the bottom of the ship, Marissa, Magpie, and her lackeys took Robert to the compartment where the island representatives were being held as prisoners. He was horrified that all of them were unconscious and didn't realized that they were inside of the ship. The model took out the perfume and told him that it would make him fall into a deep sleep, just like the others. When Robert found out of what she was planning to do with him next, he refused to hold back. He quickly released himself from the henchmen and got away from them as fast as he could.
"Man, this one is feisty than the others!" Marissa exclaimed. "Boys, don't you just stand there! Hurry up and stop him!"
Robert ran as fast as he could in order to reach the deck, but he has a long way to get there. Instead, he had to go to the compartment to transform before Marissa's henchmen appeared. As soon as the henchmen showed up, they checked every compartment to find him. When they reached to the last door, they found Masked Swordmaster who gave them a quite of punch on their faces. After he owed them some beating, Marissa quietly appeared right behind him and gave him a sting on his neck with one of her pointy nails.
Vicki walked to the hallway to search for clues. She went every compartment to find one, but all she found was nothing at all. Suddenly, she heard a noise that came from below. She quietly checked it out to see of what's going on.
"Gentlemen, take this knightly brute to the different compartment somewhere!" Marissa ordered. "I don't really know of how he got here, but I'll deal with him in a minute or two!"
Vicki spied on Marissa and her henchmen as they took Masked Swordmaster to the compartment elsewhere. Vicki quietly entered the empty compartment that was near her without getting caught. The henchmen dragged the unconscious swordsman to the upper floor to find the suitable compartment. Magpie and Marissa were following them, but the evil crow suddenly sensed the presence from one of the compartments. She quickly rubbed it off and focused on the main objective without any distraction or interference.
After the villains were gone to the upper floor, Vicki peeked through the door and checked the hallway to see if no one's in sight. Since the close was clear, she closed the door once again and transformed into Phantom Angel right away. She used her heart dream staff to summon the portal and jumped in to find Masked Swordmaster.
In the different compartment, Masked Swordmaster was awakened and found himself strapped down to the stretcher. He was struggling to get himself out of there, but the belt was too strong to break through. Suddenly, Marissa showed up and was surprised when she saw him fully awakened. He was not very happy to see her after he witnessed of what she did to all of the island representatives who were trapped inside of the ghost ship.
"You wicked witch, let the island representatives go now!" said Masked Swordmaster angrily. "I don't know what you're planning to do with them, but you're not going to get away with this!"
"Like, as if, but I'm not going to let them go!" Marissa explained. "They're trapped in the nightmare world, and they'll never wake up in reality once they are inside of the ghost ship!"
"Well, you caught me already...J-Just let them go this instant!"
"Like, you offered me a deal? Fat chance, handsome! Unless, how about I'll give you a kiss instead?"
Masked Swordmaster groaned in agony and shook his head. "F-Forget it, lady! There's no way you're going to kiss me! You reminded me of someone I know...someone who was most annoying and selfish like you! Quick question though...do you have a little sister by any chance?"
Marissa's eyes were widened in rage and was very furious. She clutched Masked Swordmaster's face and glared at him. "So, you know my half sister, Charlene, correct?"
"Y-Yes, I knew about her...Phantom Angel and I fought against her and killed her off last year in order to save the world! M-My guts tell me that you're just jealous of your own little sister, am I right?"
"M-Me?! Jealous of my own sister?! Grr, I would rather not talk about my sister, and neither should you! Got that?!"
Marissa was still clutching Masked Swordmaster's face really hard and forced him to kiss her. He tried to remove her grip from his face and kept his lips sealed from kissing her. All of the sudden, the portal appeared above them and Phantom Angel immediately fell from it. She crashed onto Marissa and landed on her in the silly way. The angel finally found Masked Swordmaster strapped down to the stretcher. So, she quickly set him free, but the model quickly pushed her away.
"Hey Phantom Angel, that was a dramatic entrance you got there!" Marissa exclaimed. "And you even broke your fall, which it was pretty lame!"
"Back off, Marissa!" Phantom Angel argued. "Not only you captured all the island representatives, but why do you have to capture him, too?"
"Like, you want to know the answer? Fine, I'll explain everything!"
Marissa started to explain everything to Phantom Angel, just like she explained it to Masked Swordmaster. As for her plan to do with the masked white knight, she was about to kiss him until the angel dropped by literally. The model was pissed off because one of her plans failed because Phantom Angel interfered her. She began using her dark magic powers to attack the angel. Phantom Angel dodged her attack and rushed to the evil model. She gave her a kick from behind and used her heavenly light attack at her opponent. Marissa got a direct hit and slammed onto the wall. Once she was on the floor out cold, Phantom Angel quickly released Masked Swordmaster before the villainess regained her consciousness. Finally, they quickly got away from her and had to save the island representatives right away.
Phantom Angel and Masked Swordmaster reached to the bottom of the ghost ship where all the island representatives fell asleep into the eternal nightmare. Masked Swordmaster used his star cannon to shoot up the ship right above them. Then, Phantom Angel used her heart dream staff to teleport all the island representatives back to their own islands. The magical bubbles carried them and began floating away from the ghost ship. As the Duo of Justice watched them go in the air, they were hoping that all of them would be returning home safe and sound.
The next day, Vicki and Robert were watching the news on TV. The news had reported that all of the island representatives had return to their own islands by the unknown mystical force. Surprisingly, none of them seemed to remember about the incident of the ghost ship or whatever happened to themselves when they got on board the ship. But the very good thing was everything went back to normal as always. This was the end of the news report before Vicki turned off the TV right away.
"Well, it looks like all the island representatives are now safe back to their own islands, including you, Robert!" said Vicki, winking at her boyfriend.
"Yeah, it's true alright!" said Robert. "But first things first, we've got to save all the innocent people before we saved ourselves as I always say!"
"Absolutely! But anyways, are you excited for Toy Day? Because I sure do!"
"Oh yeah, by all means!"
Vicki and Robert were very excited that Toy Day would be arriving soon. They couldn't wait to open their presents, which they were under the big festive tree, until the day has come.
