So, it looks like we'll be going to Chapter six. It may take us a while, but I believe we can do it. Nonetheless whims and wishes can be so frustrating sometimes.

Leon couldn't help from smiling as he lifted his gaze from the letter in his hands.

His mother was great at describing things that happened at Adamant to the point he had no trouble picturing it in his mind. It was something he noticed shortly after the first couple of letters he got from her, and was something he had grown a little jealous of. He didn't know how she was able to summarize things while still giving great detail, but it was something he was trying to teach himself when he had free time.

"It's a shame I'm not there to witness these things myself, but I'm not sad about it. There are things here that I wouldn't want to miss like Jon scaring Sansa that one time."

he could still remember the way Sansa yelped in fright, and how Robb laughed as their younger brother Brandon looked around with confusion. the youngest Stark had no idea what had caused his sister to shriek like that or what caused his older brother to laugh like that, but that was a given since he was nothing but a little baby.

"Now that I think about it, my brother did something similar to me a few years back." He said aloud as he recalled a certain not so pleasant memory that made him scowl and furrow his brows.

He didn't know what had possessed his older brother that night, but one night Leo had snuck into his bedroom and spoke in this creepy voice before eventually grabbing him by the legs and pulling him off and underneath the bed. He had never screamed or cried so hard before, at least from what he could remember, and had nightmares about it for nearly two months which resulted in him sleeping in his parents' bed with them.

"Of course what had happened to me was far more scarier than what had happened to Sansa in the crypt." He muttered to himself after realizing that while Sansa yelped in surprise he actually screamed and cried which could be seen as sad and pathetic in other people's eyes.

Shaking his head a little, Leon thought about starting his response letter when there was a knock on the door.

"It's open!" He shouted slightly after turning his attention towards it.

The person that had knocked had been Jon Snow who right now was carrying a more sullen expression than he usually did.

"Is everything alright?" Inquired Leon, a hint of concern in his voice as Jon entered the room while closing the door behind him.

"Depends on who you're asking." Answered Jon as he made his way to Leon's bed and took a seat on it.

"Uh, you?" Said a slightly confused Leon.

"Heh, well then I guess I'm alright, just a little annoyed." Declared Jon as he sighed. "I was playing with Robb not too long ago and I said that I was the Lord of Winterfell only for him to end up saying to me that I can't be the Lord of Winterfell due to me being a bastard."

"I mean, he's not wrong," admitted Leon before adding. "But didn't he know you guys were playing and that you weren't actually being serious about it?"

"That's what I thought, but..." Began Jon before pausing and sighing. "But I don't know. I don't think he meant to upset me, but that doesn't mean I'm not upset about it."

"I see, well, um, I honestly don't know what to say." Said Leon with a small frown. "I mean, I don't know why you came to me about this, it's not like I can do anything to fix it or whatever. All I can do is simply lend you my ear."

"I know I just..." Started Jon before letting loose another sigh that had more frustration than his last one. "I just thought I could talk to someone about it. Usually, I would keep to myself, but I thought maybe you could understand where I'm coming from a little."

"On what exactly?" Inquired Leon. "About being told I can't be the Lord of my ancestral home? Because while that may be highly unlikely it is not exactly impossible for me."

"... Forget it, you don't understand." Claimed Jon as he got up and began to make his way to the door.

"That's because I don't know what it is you exactly want me to do." Declared Leon with a tiny bit of irritation seeping into his voice. "No one has ever come to me to voice their problems or whatever, so I don't know what to say or do really."

"I just wanted someone to talk to who could possibly understand what it feels like to be a bastard. I didn't expect you to understand completely, but at the very least, I thought you could understand a little bit." Said Jon after stopping right before the door and glancing at Leon.

"Well then let's talk!" Stated Leon in a somewhat loud tone as he gestured for Jon to take a seat once more. "A conversation requires two people trading their thoughts on the matter, not just one. It can be annoying sometimes when the other person doesn't understand where you're coming from, but sometimes you have to enlighten them a bit."

"Uh-huh, and you've never had to do this before you say?" Questioned Jon with an eyebrow raised and a hint of skepticism in his voice.

"Nope, but I have had to try explaining to my mother before why it is I go outside of the castle by myself once." Responded Leon with a smile. "It wasn't the greatest explanation, but I believe she understood to an extent where I was coming from and that's good. Of course, that didn't stop her from lecturing me though and telling me not to do it again."

At this, Jon laughed a little. It wasn't a burst of loud and booming laughter and was more along the lines of a chuckle which was enough to make Leon's grin widen a bit.

"What is your mother like? Is she like Lady Stark or...?" He trailed off leaving the rest of it open to suggestion.

"She's a wonderful person." Answered Leon as he cracked a half-smile. "I can't say she is like Lady Stark, but they do have some similarities with one another, but that's just it. Why? Would you like to see her one day?"

"No, I just..." Started Jon before sighing and saying in a slightly frustrated and embarrassed manner. "I never knew my mother. I don't know what she looked like, what she liked to wear or anything. Father never talks about her, and won't tell me anything even when I ask about her."

"I'm sorry to hear that, Jon." Said Leon in an apologetic tone in response to this information, "I'm sure she was quite beautiful and would be a lovely and caring mother if she were here today."

"Yeah, I'd like to think so too, but I just... I just wish I could find out something about her. Like if she's alive or not." Admitted Jon.

"Yeah, I know." Said Leon with a tiny smile.

"Anyways, thanks for the talk and sorry for-" Began Jon as he opened the door and started to make his way out the doorway only to abruptly stop and say in a somewhat surprised tone. "-Lady Stark."

The woman that was standing right in front of the doorway said nothing at first to Jon, but after a while, she said in a slightly curt tone that didn't go unnoticed by Leon.

"I need to speak with Leon alone."

"I was just leaving, Lady Stark." Said Jon in response before hurrying past her.

Lady Stark didn't respond this time and simply entered the room while closing the door behind her.

Once in, Leon finally greeted her.

"Lady Stark," he said before adding, "am I in trouble?"

"No, not in the slightest." Quickly answered the Lady of Winterfell before frowning and saying. "Why? Why do you ask?"

"I don't know, you just never really came to speak to me before, so I had thought I done something wrong." Hesitantly admitted Leon.

"What you say is true, but surely you can understand with the circumstances going on?" Stated Lady Stark as she moved to take a seat on Leon's bed.

"Of course, I'm not expecting you to come and talk to me everyday or anything, I was just surprised by your visit is all." Declared Leon swiftly.

"I see..." Was all Lady Stark said in response.

Several seconds of silence followed after that before Leon broke it by asking her what was on his mind.

"So, what did you need to see me before? Is it about what happened a few days when I was playing with Robb or-"

"-No, it's nothing of that sort, Leon." Interrupted Lady Stark before putting a hand on her forehead and saying. "It's about something else."

"Okay, so what is it?" Queried Leon with a bit of wariness and concern.

At this, Lady Stark dodged the question and said. "Why don't you come and sit next to me first?"

"Okay..." Said an uncertain Leon before getting up from the seat he was in and taking a seat next to her on the bed. He didn't have the slightest clue what was going on, but how she was acting was starting to making him a little uneasy.

After planting his behind down next to her, Lady Stark took a couple of seconds before pulling out a piece of paper that had the King's seal unbroken.

Leon stared at it with confusion, and after a while, he looked up at Lady Stark who began to talk.

"We received this along with a raven from my husband, it's... It's about your father, Leon."

A sense of dread started to fill Leon as his hands started to shake.

"what do you mean?" He questioned, his voice holding back the emotions he was feeling. "What happened to my father?"

"I'm, I'm sorry, Leon." Started Lady Stark in a sympathetic tone.

"No..." He whispered as he shook his head practically begging for her not to say what he was thinking.

Unfortunately, it was a fruitless attempt, for his silent plead did not stop her from saying to him. "But your father died giving his life to protect his Grace, the King. I don't know the full details, but that"s what my husband told me in his letter."

At this, Leon did the one thing a boy his age could do. He cried his heart out in anguish and despair, all while Lady Stark did her best to comfort him.

And Cut. This chapter is now finished and I got nothing to say, so see ya.
