Two of Us
Author's Note: Hey everyone and welcome back to Two of Us! So Kamino Ward time! So we are kinda doing this thing where we do an arc per chapter for the canon part of MHA (with the exception of Internships and the Final Exams since we were focusing on our main characters). Not really much of an author's note. This is also going to go over Katsuki's time with the League too which we saw maybe a couple of minutes worth originally. Well here we go!
Additional Notes: Please note that not all events will be the same as the anime/manga and won't be going fully into some of the events since we've seen them/read them! Since this chapter is going to be so long, I'm condensing the Bakugou Rescue Squad scenes down and just doing a run through except for certain parts! I also want to thank you guys so much for your patience with waiting on us to update! I've been away due to being in the hospital and being sick. So thank you so much guys! - Phoenix
Chapter Warnings: The usual, Canon everything basically, freaking Katsuki. Because it's Katsuki and his potty mouth.
Chapter Eleven: Savior (by Black Veil Brides)
Chapter Summary: Rescue operations are underway to rescue Katsuki and Ragdoll. Midoriya, Todoroki, Kirishima, Iida, and Yaoyorozu decide to do a rescue operation of their own despite the rest of the class telling them not to. Toshinori's worst fears are coming to light as he encounters All for One for the first time since getting his injury. and the world finds out about not only his weakened state but his family.
Toshinori had never felt so useless in his life. Sitting in the conference room at U.A. just waiting on information. Going over plans for the school. He sulked in his seat with his head in his hands. He could feel the anger radiating off of Yamada in waves from where his son in law was sitting. The tension was high in the room as Nezu spoke about the incident and the possible reason that Katsuki had been targeted by the villains.
Katsuki.
His grandson had been kidnapped by villains during the night. His students fighting for their lives in the woods at their training camp. A camp that he had been excluded from because he had been a known target for the League of Villains. This was his fault. These villains weren't interested in U.A. or the students until he arrived.
Shouta was still at the police station along with Vlad going over the information that they had gathered at the camp during the attack so he had yet to see his son. He couldn't imagine the pain that Shouta must be feeling in that moment.
He could barely hear the conversation going on around him. His mind raced as the thoughts flowed through him. How did this happen? Why Katsuki? Did they somehow know of Katsuki's personal connection to him or was it something else? Most importantly, how did the villains even find them? The training camp was supposed to be hidden and a secret within the faculty and the Pussycats. Not even the students were notified of where they would be going. None of this was making sense to him. So many questions but so little information to go off of.
No matter what, U.A. had failed. A student had been kidnapped while in their care. Not just any student. The winner of the Sports Festival and a hero course student. He had been all but ignoring the media, knowing that U.A. was being condemned by society over the kidnapping. It didn't matter to him what the media was saying. All that matter was getting Katsuki back.
"There's no easy way to say this, but there is a traitor at this school." Hizashi growled, his voice low as he spoke. His statement completely ripping Toshinori out of his thoughts.
"Mic." Kayama warned.
"What?! I can't be the only one thinking it! Only the teachers and the Pussycats knew where the camp was. Yeah, maybe a student could of used their phone to message a villian." Hizashi exclaimed, slamming his palms on the table in front of him. Toshinori could feel the anger seeping out of him in waves from where he was sitting.
"Stop this, Mic!" Kayama snapped.
Hizashi growled, throwing his arms up in frustration. "What's your problem?! We have to find out who the leak is!"
Snipe spoke up, "How can we be sure that you are one hundred percent? How can we know everyone in this room is an ally? Something as serious as a traitor can't be taken lightly." The man stated. "If we start doubting each other, we will tear ourselves apart from the inside."
Hizashi tsked as he sat back down, crossing his arms over his chest. "At the very least, I trust everyone sitting at this table. Though, I also can't prove that I am also one hundred percent innocent. For the moment, as a school we need to focus on the safety of our students. This is the perfect time to implement something I've been wanting to do for a while. You see-" Nezu was cut off short by the ring of a phone.
A phone call is here! A phone call is here!
All eyes turned to Toshinori as he finished his phone out of his pocket. Grumbles coming from a few of them as he silenced it and looked at the caller ID: Tsukauchi Naomasa. Toshinori uttered a quick apology as he jumped up from the table and started out of the room.
He took in a deep breath as he closed the door behind him with a sigh. Clicking the accept button, he put the phone to his ear. "Sorry, what is it Tsukauchi?"
"We finally finished taking comprehensive statements from Aizawa and Vlad King and I think we found something." Tsukauchi's voice called through the receiver. "It's possible we have a lead on where the League of Villains is hiding."
Toshinori felt his heart skip a beat as his eyes widened. "Wait? Are you serious?"
"Yeah. About two weeks ago, I sent an officer out to gather some information. A bystander said that he saw a man with a patchwork face entering a building that was supposed to be vacant. The man looked to be in his twenties but we didn't find any plausible matches in criminal records. We spoke with the owner of the building though, and found that there is some sort of hidden bar there. My men thought this was unrelated to our kidnapping case and didn't investigate further, but remember the description of that villain from the attack? He had a patchwork face. Once we get the green light, we will move it. This is top secret but I'm only telling you this cause it's you. We plan to ask for cooperation from many heroes for this rescue and inevitable clean up mission. All Might, we need your power."
Toshinori felt the power of One for All bubbling inside of him as his muscle form started to grow over his lanky body. Hearing Tsukauchi once more though the receiver to make sure he was still there, he finally spoke, "Tsukauchi, you are a wonderful friend and I know just what I will say when I find them. I am here! To make you pay for what you've done!"

Shouta felt like he couldn't breathe. He hadn't been able to since the second Todoroki had uttered those words to him. He felt as if he was running on auto pilot since that moment. Every part of him urged to be the one who went after the League to get Katsuki back, but they had their own plans so the rescue operation could go as smoothly as possible. He just wanted his son home, safe and sound. He knew Katsuki was strong and that anything those bastards said to him wouldn't sway him. That didn't make it hurt any less.
He stepped out of the room that Tsukauchi and Vlad still remained in, taking in a deep breath as he leaned against the wall for a moment before starting off towards the bathroom. He felt as if he were floating out of his body, watching himself walk but not actually feeling the movements.
The walk to the bathroom seemed to go by in just the blink of an eye. He braced his hands on the bathroom sink, staring at his reflection in the mirror. His hair was disheveled and his eyes even more bloodshot than normal. The bruises under his eyes sunk deeper into his skin, showing the deep contrast of dark purple compared to his pale skin tone.
Turning on the tap, he ran his hands under the cool water. Trying to feel anything. He couldn't let his mind slip. He had to keep his mind clear. They already had a lead to where the villains might be hiding. According to Todoroki, it had been the patchwork face villain known as Dabi that had taken Katsuki through the warp gate. The same villain who Shouta fought clones of. The irony made him sick to his stomach.
Tears came to Shouta's eyes as he looked away from his own reflection and down to the flowing water. A sob racked through his body as he crouched down, still holding onto the sink.
"I'm so sorry, Katsuki."
x
Katsuki strained against the handcuffs and bindings those little fuckers hoped to hold him down with. He bit against cloth stuffing his mouth, eager to shout out his gathered anger at them. To shout it all out. Dad was probably worried dead over him. He couldn't waste any more time trying to get out of here.
After a few minutes he gave up his study in futility. Somebody had been worth his money in doing Katsuki's restraints. So all he was left with doing was having a closer look at his surroundings. As it seemed he was in an old pub or bar, some place his dads sometimes visited when they had some spare time at their hand on a late Friday evening. If anything applied then the words dusty and musty. How anyone would voluntarily go to such a location Katsuki couldn't fathom; but what he understood was he wasn't going to dwell here any longer. The first instance one of these suckers of villains dared to pass him, he'd blow them to pieces. However, his determination dwindled as quickly as it had come up.
Villains had that tedious tendency to come and run in clusters. You rarely found them roaming about alone nowadays. Just as the Heroes had they adopted some sense of concept making for their schemes and that in group they were less vulnerable. Or, the risk for the single villain to get hit sank drastically with more target points in one place. Katsuki growled when the whole palette of his kidnappers entered the pub room.
"My, my, what hot head do we have here?" The villain Katsuki knew as Dabi paroled. That little shit was enjoying his predicament. His stifled growls trickled through the fabric in his mouth, less intimidating than he'd hoped for. "Quite funny blondy, aren't we?"
The weird hands guy shoved Dabi aside, making himself some space, followed by that floating mist thing. It had two small, yellowish slits for eyes and two legs to walk, so Kurogiri probably counted as a human being. Whatever Quirk made the guy look like this. But Katsuki had to focus. Count his enemies, watch their position.
He growled again to distract from the fact he was lowkey analysing the villains.
"There," Shigaraki seated himself at the counter, waving a diminishing gesture towards Dabi "you've got him unnecessarily riled up. Get him down at once."
Dabi rolled his eyes, sighing out loud. He ruffled a hand through his spiky, unruly hair. "Well, first: you're sure it's not the entire situation making him hot. And second: no. You see, I don't exactly cool people down."
Katsuki wished he could have beaten the crap out of both of them together. Discussing about him as though he weren't there. Those sick bastards.
Just before more anger clouded his reason however, something odd struck him about that Dabi guy. First, Katsuki couldn't pinpoint what exactly. But then, Dabi's demeanour, his Quirk, and his...eyes suddenly reminded the blond aspiring hero of someone else. Someone he held dear.
Life couldn't be serious with him.

Todoroki stood in silence as his fellow classmates filled Midoriya's room, noticing the green haired boy was finally awake. Todoroki took in the sight of the teenager that he could call his first friend. The Alpha's head was wrapped in bandages and his arms were in casts similar to what Aizawa's had been after the USJ. He noticed quickly just how spaced out that Midoriya was. It was clear in the normal shining green eyes of the Alpha, they were clouded completely over and dark. Midoriya spoke to them, replying to them but it was like the Alpha's mind wasn't fully there. Like he hadn't processed the shock from the training camp.
Todoroki kept his eyes on his friend as he half-listened to the others talking. Hagakure and Jirou were still unconscious from the poisonous gas. Yaoyorozu had finally woken up the day before from her head injury that rendered her unconscious for the day following the camp. And… Katsuki… he was gone.
It's your fault, Shouto. He was right there and you let him slip away. You weren't fast enough. Todoroki bit his lip as he managed to say, "And Shirakumo is gone."
Those four words seemed to snap Midoriya back to reality as Todoroki watched the light come back to his eyes. The green eyes widening as Uraraka exclaimed to him that Midoriya already knew. Todoroki had a gut feeling that Midoriya needed to hear those words. Despite how painful they would be to the Alpha. Midoriya was disconnected from the world, and this way he could find some way to ground himself.
The room filled with tension as the words settled over all of them. An all too terrifying reality. One of their own was gone. Taken by villains. Midoriya moved his head to the side, looking out the window as he muttered, "All Might once told me that there will always be people out of our reach... that we can't protect even though we want to." Todoroki felt the words hit him in the gut. The guilt filling him once more. His hand had been right there. His fingertips were only millimeters away from saving him. Saving Katsuki. Yet that flame villain had been quicker, snatching Katsuki in a blink of an eye. Todoroki had to force the lump in his throat down as Midoriya continued to talk. "Which is why we have to save the people we can reach. I was so close to being able to save him… I needed to save him. Had too. That is the entire reason I have my quirk. That's exactly like what Aizawa-sensei said to me… I couldn't move and because of that I couldn't save someone right in front of me. And because of that… he's gone." The large tears spilt over the rim of Midoriya's eyes and down his cheeks.
Todoroki looked over to Kirishima for a moment. Knowing exactly how Midoriya felt. How Kirishima felt. They all had some sort of connection to Katsuki. Midoriya and Katsuki having a strange relationship but were childhood friends. Kirishima and Katsuki creating a bond since day one of U.A. Him and Katsuki… whatever you could call their relationship. Todoroki only knew that he felt a bubbling in the pit of his stomach whenever he was near the Alpha. How good he felt around him. Being able to smile freely. Seeing another side to the Alpha that he was sure that only Midoriya and Kirishima have seen. They all had parts in this. Each of them having their own reasons. In the end, they all had the same goal. Todoroki knew that much from just knowing Midoriya. Kirishima had already made his intentions clear to him before they met up with the rest of their classmates.
"Alright, then let's go get him." Kirishima stated, catching everyone but Todoroki off guard. They had made their plan before they ever entered this room. Todoroki was going to back up Kirishima completely. No matter the cost. "I was here yesterday and I ran into Todoroki. We were on our way to visit you when we saw All Might and some police officer talking to Yaoyorozu." He said, recounting the scene they had witnessed the day before to the others. With how they had both seen Yaoyorozu talking to All Might and the police officer, talking about how she had Awaze from Class B attach a tracking device to a villain and making a device to receive the signal location.
"This means you are going to have Yaoyorozu make another receiver for you, doesn't it." Iida growled, a glare leveled on both him and Kirishima. Todoroki knew where this anger was coming from. Iida didn't even have to say anything to him and he knew. Hosu. When Iida's drive for vengeance got the best of him and he went after the Hero Killer.
"What if it does?" Todoroki challenged.
Iida bit his lip, the anger flooding over his face. "You should listen to what All Might said! We should leave this to the professionals! It's not the right time for us to get involved! You idiots!" Iida yelled.
"Maybe! But all I know is at camp, I couldn't do anything! I heard my friend was targeted and I just stood by!" Kirishima retorted, his own anger and frustrations flowing out of him as he stared down Iida. Todoroki even had jumped back at the pure shock of hearing Kirishima raise his voice in that tone. "Helpless. So if I stand by now, how am I supposed to call myself a hero or a man?!"
Kaminari was the first to intervene. "Kirishima, calm down dude. This is a hospital. There is another time and place for this."
"What Iida said is true." Asui added. Their words only fueling the fire that Todoroki watched build up in Kirishima. The red haired Alpha getting increasingly angry by the moment.
"All of you… listen to me for a second. I know what you guys are right… but…" He paused, turning to face Midoriya with his hand held out. "Still, c'mon Midoriya, he is still within your reach. We can save Shirakumo."

Tonight was the night. All it took was two days. Two long days. They would be moving in on the League's hideout. They could do this. Toshinori's eyes were settled on Shouta, watching his son's movements closely. The air in the room was tense. No one had said a word when Toshinori arrived. Not that he expected them too. Not after Katsuki.
"Shouta?" Toshinori questioned softly, catching his son's attention. Shouta had his back to him but he could see the clear tension throughout the Omega. His shoulder and back completely straight as his hands gripped the kitchen counter, his hair shielding his face from view. "The operation is set in stone. We move out tonight." Toshinori stated.
Hizashi wasn't far from them, leaning against the counter in abnormal silence as he looked between his mate and the Number One hero. His face grim and downcast.
Shouta still didn't say a word, his grip on the marble of the counter only getting tighter. Toshinori could swear that he heard Shouta's teeth grind together. He had no idea how Shouta was keeping his composure as well as he was. If it had been Shouta, Toshinori probably would have just broken down completely. Toshinori could still feel the anger flaring through him, knowing that Katsuki was at the hands of villains. He had to do everything in his power to get Katsuki back. The only calming factor to him was knowing Katsuki was head-strong and his temper was another. He wouldn't easily be swayed. The heroes were concerned that the villains were trying to recruit him, that was the only possible explanation to why they had taken him. Best Jeanist said it best. Katsuki's ego and determination fell into the grey area that was seen in aspiring heroes. His temper was definitely one that people would shy away from.
"Shouta?" Toshinori tried again. It pained him to know that Shouta wasn't directly involved with the operation. He would be standing alongside Vlad King and Nezu doing a cover up media conference while the other pros moved in. Their plan was to have the villains think they were clueless before the pros involved in the raid made their move. Toshinori was positive that Shouta wished for everything to be involved with the initial raid. He couldn't even imagine what Shouta was feeling in that moment. "We will get him back. I promise you that."
Those words seemed to strike something in the Omega. Shouta's entire body language changed as he turned on his feet and leveled a glare on his father. "Promise? You promise?" He whispered. "I've heard enough of promises."
Toshinori sighed. Wrong choice of words apparently. "Shouta, this is going to work."
The Omega bit his lip with a slight growl. "I'm not worried about it not working." Shouta muttered. "I'm confident that this is going to work. This isn't about the operation, don't you see? I failed. I failed my son. I failed my students. I allowed myself to fall for that fucking villain's antics and I couldn't get to him. When he needed me the most. I wasn't there."
Hizashi stepped forward, placing his hands on either side of Shouta's shoulders. "Shou.."
Shouta moved out of his mate's grip, now looking between the two of them. "My students… Vlad's students were out there fighting for their lives. My son gets taken. Ragdoll… Pixie Bob. That camp was supposed to be safe. I didn't think of the possibility that villains would show up." Shouta paused. Toshinori's eyes widened as tears spilled over the rims of his son's eyes. "I should of been there. I should of been faster. God knows what is happening to Katsuki right now. When Todoroki told me… I felt like my world just shattered…. I feel like I can't breathe. Every single thought I have is of him. I haven't been able to sleep. Nothing. Katsuki is gone and I'm stuck standing in front of the fucking press acting like I don't know shit." Shouta's voice slowly started to raise with each word. "I can't allow myself to fall apart. I need to keep my head up for Katsuki… for those kids. I need to be strong for all of them because I failed them."
Toshinori sighed softly, stepping forward and wrapping his arms around Shouta's shoulders and pulling his son close to him. "You don't have to carry this burden on your own. You did everything that you could with what information you had. You gave the permission for those children to fight. Had you not made that choice, the camp probably would have been worse." He paused as Shouta's arms wrapped around him. The Omega's grip getting tighter. "Shouta, I will get him back."

Recent events ate away at Shouta's mood.
Not to get the wrong idea; what he called his mood was barely scratching at the average cheerfulness of other people. The few scratches of a nice demeanour he managed to get together, existed more or less involuntarily to fulfill the minimum of social interaction he still had to attend to in his already media-depriven field of work. Without them, though, just as he was being right now, he didn't expect to have enough of a mental bolster to survive ravenous reporters.
How was he to voice an upright account of remorse, when his body was an acute case of sleep deprivation and moodiness?
All of Japan was going to doubt his integrity, and the jungle of social media would make sure he would have to face his excuse of an apology for the rest of his life.
And that didn't yet touch upon the worst of it all.
Namely, the devastating consequences for UA's reputation. They were already immeasurable as off now in light of the previous encounter with the League of Villains. That, paired with an unconvincing statement of apology, would mean UA's downfall from its prestigious stand.
Shouta was egoistic enough to worry about a near future where he wouldn't do either of the jobs he loved; but what was about his students? Parents would most definitely take their kids off the school, and block for the future generation the path to become pro heroes, resulting in a mass exodus from heroism. Furthermore, would false rumors spread that UA didn't have the money for proper employment, and the staff would get into a hell of a trouble. Therefore, with the current prospects in mind, Shouta prepared to wave his official farewell to his jobs and all the hours of sleep he was certainly going to miss.
For the last remaining hour, the coffee machine of the television studio's break room had become Shouta's temporary sanctum. He had been lingering in front of it, after Tsukauchi had taken his account on the events at the Training Camp. Under the pretext of making some phone calls outside, the detective had had half a heart to give the still-a-pro hero a much needed breather on his own.
However, Shouta didn't think these ten minutes of solemn quietness would provide him with enough energy to stainlessly overcome the impending official statement by UA concerning the latest LoV attack. The raid had already been a bitch to do and given Shouta a nice burn at his left arm, which he was going to need to get tended to by Recovery Girl. Compared to the LoV, the Japanese media was another bitch to do; only that Shouta felt more suited to combat the LoV-type of bitch than the media one.
Shouta didn't expect the events to even remotely take an optimal course. The reporters were going to tear him up this or that way, and he wouldn't be able to dodge any of their bullets. He was freshly accused and already sentenced all at once; but could Shouta blame them for it. When did he ever provide them with an opportunity to vent their frustrations on Eraserhead?
"Eraser, you're ready to go?" Tsukauchi peeked his head through the open door. "The interview's about to start."
Shouta nodded solemnly, and rose from his place. He saw the detective's surprised expression when he noticed the untouched cup of coffee.
"You letting that go to waste?" He asked, an obvious question mark written on his face.
Shouta shrugged his shoulders. It wasn't yet the time to reveal his second pregnancy; it barely had been that long of a time for himself to know of it. His sitting before the coffee machine just as the cup of coffee itself had been nothing more than an alibi.
"The fourth one's for later." Shouta mumbled, painting a lie, before leaving the room past the detective.
Tsukauchi's squeamish face at the thought of drinking cold coffee was one of those rare moments he chose to let his thoughts shine through. If keeping his secret for now meant Aizawa would attract some irritated faces, he was ready to embrace them all, and even more. In fact, anything the world held in store for him, such as having to play the scapegoat for UA and apology to the whole of Japan.
On their way to the conference room, Shouta was thankful for the detective not attempting to start any forced small talk. They both had had long enough of a shared history that they knew the other's oddities and perks admirably well. All their little peculiarities were just as being respected as each other's strengths.
"It's going to be a pain in the Blazes." Tsukauchi was skimming through his dog-eared notepad, while they were walking.
Few people expected the detective to have an ironic stroke, or anything only touching upon sarcasm. Fact was Tsukauchi kept that side of him securely hidden away, subordinating it to his stoic air of professionalism; but sometimes he let loose, and harnessed that beast to the carts. The bluntness Shouta lived off was a warm welcome to the detective to pat his locked up nature. Shouta had never witnessed the detective to swear at any occasion, though, and that he thought was buffed expert.
x
The conference room was buzzing with excited chatter and malintent. Shouta felt like prey the first ravens had already set their eye on, preparing in mind the numerous ways Shouta could be devoured and digested properly.
As Shouta proceeded to the conference table at one end of the room, Tsukauchi stayed behind wishing him luck. It was an irrational feeling, but without the detective, Shouta was suddenly very lonely. Truth be spoken, director Nedzu and Shouta's colleague Vlad were in his immediate wake and took their seats right after Shouta had sat down; but the detective had an intuitive understanding of Shouta's mindwork.
Before the interview began, Vlad murmured to Shouta,"How's your arm?"
So, Tsukauchi had told Vlad that Dabi, a fire quirk wielder in the League of Villains, had gotten Shouta quite unfavourably. Until now, Shouta had managed to ignore the throbbing along the entire length of his arm, though, soon after being reminded of it, the pain returned with a vengeance. Given the circumstances, he worked to maintain his poker face, still costing him more resolve than usual since his pain tolerance was accustomed to even worse.
After the first round of apologising and bowing down deeply, the UA staff members could finally sit down behind the podium. The press conference turned out a lengthy affair, and mor than once the dark-haired teacher had to remind himself not to squirm at his place behind the podium. Gladly, they were provided with one after all. His normally loose waistband of the seldom-worn suit pants was digging into the underside of his abdomen in a way he couldn't ignore that easily. How he had been that oblivious until the Training Camp, he didn't know to explain; but fact was that he had less symptoms early on as he'd had with Katsuki. Some things simply went under in the heat of everyday stress, and to be honest, sometimes, he even forgot he hadn't been birth control anymore.
Aizawa didn't intend to let anyone know of his pregnancy, for now; though, there hadn't been enough time to provide him with a better-fitting suit. Just before the TV conference, he had thrown a critical glimpse at his reflection to confirm he would still pass as chubby. Which he gladly did. He didn't like the notion of having anything of his private life slip out to the ravenous public but expected to survive a short column on slight overweight in tomorrow's yellow press.
As expected, the reporters' questions came in crushing tides. One of them questioned Aizawa about Katsuki, and wouldn't let loose. The reporter kept pointing out his doubts and fears about the possibility that Katsuki could be being led astray just at that moment. Behind the obscuring podium, Aizawa clenched his hands into fists as to not let his face betray him of the anger flaring up inside him.
"Seeing Shirakumo's displays of short temper and what can be considered unheroic behaviour on TV, how do you know the villains won't be successful in exploiting just these spots?" The reporter was probing Aizawa's own temper.
Aizawa tunneled his tensed muscles into his jaw, hoping it wasn't visible as another wave of rage roared up inside him, threatening to break free.
Vlad beside him was eyeing him worriedly; Aizawa was aware of that much, but he couldn't let a wannabe reporter insult Katsuki that easily, and escape without consequences. Truth be told, the public didn't know of his relationship to Katsuki; however, Aizawa was knowingly still the blonde's teacher, and his duty was to stand in for his students.
Aizawa rose to a stand, the vehemence and anger showing in each and every fibre of his form. He let a brooding, expecting silence fill the room, while the reporters were already ticking it off as their score. Then he bowed deeper than ever, deeper than anyone had expected him to do.
Aizawa's torso was almost horizontal to the podium surface when he spoke, "As Shirakumo's teacher, I am aware of his temperamental nature, and will take full responsibility for not having tamed his wild behaviour so far. As Shirakumo Katuski's teacher I can assure you that he tries more than anyone in his pursuit to become a formidable hero."
Heavy murmurs filled the ranks of the reporters, and Aizawa felt as though he had moved a rock; yet, he didn't dare to get out of his bowing position too soon.
The reporter's voice had grown a tad sweaty, if voice could ever assume such phenotype; but Aizawa still thought to hear the faintest hint of agitation in his words, "You are aware, Mr Eraserhead, that I didn't ask for your feelings about your student. Giving vague assurances and estimations doesn't provide us with solid facts. And solid facts is what we and the citizens want."
Aizawa lifted his head, dead-panning the reporter. "Working with UA students and our future heroes twenty-four seven of my week provides me with the authority to let my words be facts in anything related to my students."
The reporter sunk into a deep, brooding silence while none of his colleagues dared to lance another attack at Aizawa. The teacher, satisfied with his effect on the media ravens, got back down, collecting a look of acknowledgment from Vlad.
"Quite the speech you served them," Vlad, head still facing forward to the cameras, whispered to Aizawa,
Aizawa had still the bitter aftertaste of the notion the reporter had tried to seed in all of them on his tongue. There was no chance Katsuki would ever turn on his dream to become the number one hero. Even if the smallest of possibility for it existed, Aizawa was sure that his words had reached his son wherever he was being held captive. As soon as his son heard his message, Aizawa knew he would fight the villains from the League. He just needed to have faith in Katsuki.
Besides, having faith in his son was all Aizawa could currently do for Katsuki while the police worked on tracking down his potential location.
x
"Ha! Did you hear that?" Katsuki growled satisfied, a confident smile overflowing his features. "My dad-...teacher believes in me, you morons. Come on, face me straight on, Scar-y Face."
The villains were gathered around the small television screen on the counter of the bar, behind which Kurogiri was polishing some glasses. Katsuki noticed how Scar Face was trembling from whatever thoughts were going through the other's mind. It had probably something to do with being challenged by a tied up captive who wouldn't shut up.
A satisfied smile passed over Katsuki`s lips. His father believed in him, and Katsuki would give him no less than a victory over these bad-asses that had dared abduct him. Shigaraki's raspy voice propelled the blonde back into reality.
"Say, Kurogiri, don't you think something seems off about Eraserhead?"
The undulating, misty mass playing the analogy of a head for Kurogiri turned towards the TV screen.
"How so?" Had the guy had eyebrows, one would have been perking up.
Truth be told, now also Katsuki's curiosity had been stirred. What would be off about dad-
"Look closer, dumb mist. Who told me again that Eraser was an Omega?" Shigaraki scratched at his battered chin, grew impatient.
"Obviously me because I had the information," Kurogiri answered duly without further expansion on the implication.
"You're quite the practical guy, not? Well, listen. I tell you that dude's been knocked up."
"What?" It burst out of Katsuki. So, that's why the scent around his dad had been so off lately. He was carrying another pup.
Curious, Shigaraki turned around to his prisoner. "Quite an interest you're showing there in your teach," he remarked, grinning.
"I-I don't know what you mean." Katsuki hated how defensive his voice sounded. He worked hard not to look to the side, standing strong against the villain's intense stare
"My suspicions were right all along," Shigaraki stated, amused, and approached the young hero. He pressed his index finger against the blonde's forehead, "Take that. You daddy's got a kiddo in him."
Sweat gathered in Katsuki's palms, but he feared to detonate them while still being restrained.
"He's not my-"
"Don't deny it. Afterall, you did go into a rage at the USJ screaming for him. Remember? Not all of us are dumbos," Shigaraki cast a glance towards Kurogiri, "but apparently, your daddy is. Revealing himself so easily like that. So, so dumb."
Anger and rage filled Katsuki at the demeaning way Shigaraki spoke about his dad.
"Shut up! You don't get to speak about my teacher that way!"
"You really are a kiddo, and nothing but a kiddo. Listen, hero, whatever you say, it doesn't change anything." Shigaraki made a broad gesture with his hands. "Everything lays bare on the hand. I cannot believe you're the pup of such a weakling. You've got way too much luck with your genes for that."
Tears overflowed Katsuki's eyes, threatening to break the dam.
"He's not a weakling!" If he could of sent off an explosion in that moment. He would have. Shigaraki continued to smirk at him.
The villain turned on his chair and looked at him. "You see all of these people around here." The villain paused for a moment. "Each of them have been hurt somehow by this society. By rules, heroes, what ever you could think of. You are being held back-"
Shigaraki wasn't able to finish as Katsuki snapped with, "You think you could provide me with something better?"
The villains didn't say a word. Compress stepped forward, making the gesture that they might be able to speak to him easier if he were out of his bindings. Which took Katsuki by surprise. Why release him if that meant the chance that he could escape? There was a door right behind him. If he moved quick enough, caused a big enough distraction, maybe just maybe he could slip out before Kurogiri could open a warp gate. Shigaraki gave the go ahead and Compress stepped forward to release him.
Idiots.

Horrified, Hizashi followed the TV conference and UA's official apology.
Oh, Sho.
He had never wanted for Shouta to ever have to go through something demeaning like this. His husband always gave his best, and that was what he should yield from it?
Hizashi gritted his teeth. "This is so unfair."
Nemuri came by his side, taking the blonde into her arms. The TV in the staff lounge flared in high definition, but Hizashi thought he didn't need to see all the details of it so clearly.
"All I've got was a short notice from Sho. That he was fine, and the students as well." The words left Hizashi like a waterfall. Nemuri turned her head to Hizashi, squeezing his frame reassuringly. "And he also wanted to tell me something. He had sounded agitated. But he wanted to do this when everything has calmed down."
"You've got any idea what this might be?"
Gently, Hizashi shook his head. Not by his life could he fathom what Shouta wanted to tell him. His mind was running in circles from worry over his mate that he couldn't draw any good guesses or conclusions.
Nemuri smiled all of a sudden. She was a good friend of them, and with her keen eyes, sometimes picked up on what was going on between the partners before they themselves.
"Stupid, look at him."
A grievous laugh would have escaped from the blond, if he hadn't been so devastated about his husband's situation. It wasn't fair that Shouta was to play the scapegoat, and Hizashi's eyes had been more than glued to his figure for the past half an hour. Hizashi even thought to see a slight tremble from outrage to the calm frame Shouta usually wore.
"I'm practically staring him down, Nem, and it doesn't change his situation. I want to be by his side through this, and yet, standing here and stare is all I can do." Hizashi let himself drop into the couch of the seating group right before the TV screen. His arms hung down like dead weight beside the arm rests.
In response, Nemuri crouched down by his side, and patted his shoulder soothingly. "You know that this is a diversion for Tsukauchi and the other pros. But the most important you still haven't realised, right?"
"What is it? You're grating my nerves with this secrecy."
Nemuri smiled, incredulous.
"You really are that oblivious, aren't you?" She considered it a moment. "Or the two of you. Shouta must have learned it during the medical check up for the Training Camp. Otherwise, he would already have told you."
Hizashi was getting impatient. "Tell me what?"
The R-rated Hero hated to break it to others, preferring to watch soap operas play out naturally; but she had always known. Shouta and Hizashi were a hopeless combination.
"Jeez, was your partner on birth control for the last three months?"
Hizashi's expression froze for a moment, gears in his head turning before his sunglasses almost dropped to the floor with the realisation.
"Oh."
"Exactly." She patted the blonde the shoulder playfully and chuckled lightly, despite the personally dire circumstances for Aizawa.

All Might waited for Tsukauchi's signal to raid the hideout. Gran Torino and several other pro heroes were eagerly waiting in his wake, all burning to hear the detective's final words.
Hold on, Katsuki. I'm only mere seconds away from you.
He clenched his hands into fists at the thought of his grandson having to live through whatever the villains had the itch of doing with him. In the distance, the voices of the ongoing press conference had echoed through the city from the huge, public TV screens. His stomach had started churning at one of the reporter's implications that the villains might try and convert Katsuki to their side. Pure anger had flooded his system in response. An anger he now used and channeled towards the villains they'd soon overthrow in their not so secret base anymore.
Then, finally, Tsukauchi's voice rose to life on the speaker system. The tone was distorted and grainy, it didn't stop the heroes though to take up the spoken words' meaning.
"You can start."
Never had All Might yearned to hear a voice more than at that moment. He dashed forward, followed by the swarm of pro heroes, breaking in right through the front door. Whatever would greet him behind that door, he'd made sure Katsuki waa safe.
The interior of a pub came into his view, a bar counter, lounge chairs and a few tables with chairs placed on the other side of the room. Then his gaze fell onto the Mist Quirk user behind the counter, who was polishing a glass. The young villain Shigaraki and a few others of the LoV had gathered in one corner of the room. They stood circled around...Katsuki!
"Villains, you are arrested!" All Might boasted out while Edgeshot and Kamuri Woods appeared by his side.
The two pro heroes readied their Quirks, were on the verge to take aim, when Kurogiri disappeared only to appear a second later around the cluster of LoV villains. Then they were gone, and with them Katsuki.
All Might growled out in frustration.

That night they had put their plans in action. Midoriya had been discharged from the hospital, his arms freshly healed thanks to Recovery Girl. His arms wrapped in bandages as well as his head. Todoroki, Kirishima, and Midoriya had all agreed that they were going after Katsuki, each having their own reason to break the rules and go find their friend. They already had their minds made up whether their classmates agreed or not. They knew what they were risking but they were willing to do it.
Words from Uraraka did more to fuel the fire within Todoroki. Hearing her mutter the words he never thought he would hear from her. "I dunno guys, think about what Shirakumo would want." Before she had continued with talking about the professional heroes. How could she possibly think that Katsuki would want to stay with the villains? Or even had been taken by them? Did she mean let him be saved by the pros? Or try to fight his way out on his own? Todoroki was sure she didn't mean harm in her words but from the time he's spent with Katsuki, he knew better.
So many of their classmates were against them going but they all knew they couldn't stop them. Yaoyorozu had agreed to help them by making another receiver but only if she went with them under the terms they would leave if it got too dangerous. Iida had been the most surprising. After a swift punch to the face to Midoriya, Iida announced he would also be going. Though he was going to make sure they didn't break more laws than they already were. Iida had spoken about Hosu. How vengeance shouldn't be their drive. Couldn't he see that wasn't what was fueling any of them? They were supposed to be heroes after all.
With that, they were on their way.
They had taken a train to Kamino Ward, where the signal from the receiver was pinging from. Todoroki sat in silence on the train as the others went over their plan. His mind racing and flashes of Katsuki's face right in front of his eyes. The guilt clawing its way through him. He should have been faster. This could have all been avoided.
He had spaced out the entire train ride with Midoriya shaking his shoulder to notify him that they were in Kamino. They were quick to notice just how much they stuck out. They were recognizable from the Sports Festival. Yaoyorozu was quick to pay for disguises for them. Todoroki knew that she could have made the clothes and the excuse she had given was just so she could shop. Out of their outfits, probably Todoroki was the only one who wasn't completely recognizable. Kirishima and Midoriya didn't look much different despite the new clothes and Midoriya's fake facial hair. Iida still looked similar but lacked his glasses, added on slicked back hair and facial hair. Yaoyorozu wore a dress and sunglasses to hide her appearance. Maybe he was biased but he could recognize those four easily as themselves.
He was quickly proven wrong when they left the store and two drunk men started to hit on Yaoyorozu, with the other guys taking charge to get them away, he decided to start in the direction that his classmate had said the signal was from. The others quickly followed and they started on their journey once more.
It seemed like the world had stopped for a moment as they heard one of the televisions that were on the streets rang out about the U.A. Press Conference. Todoroki felt his jaw drop as he watched Aizawa-sensei showed up on the screen alongside Vlad-sensei and Principal Nezu. Mumbling broke out in the crowd as Aizawa stated a public apology before the conference continued. Todoroki could hear Kirishima whisper beside him about Aizawa's hatred of the media. Todoroki's eyes were glued to his sensei. It was stubble but he could see the quiver in Aizawa's stature. He couldn't even begin to process how Aizawa was standing in front of media vultures and listen to them talk about Katsuki as if he were a villain.
He had felt the anger flare in him as the media continued on against their teachers but before long they were finally on their way once more. Following Yaoyorozu's instructions as they continued on. Todoroki could feel his the skin on his palms almost breaking underneath the pressure of his nails digging in.
He wasn't even sure how long they had been traveling for when they had came up to a group of abandoned buildings. Yaoyorozu confirmed they were at the correct location. Midoriya noted the door hadn't been opened in ages unless they were somehow concealing the entrance way. The group opted to head towards the side and look into a window to see if the villains were there. At least one of them were there, that Yaoyorozu was confident about.
Scaling the side of the building, Kirishima got onto Iida's shoulders and Midoriya climbed onto Todoroki's own. Todoroki wrapped his hands firmly around Midoriya's ankles, hoping with every part of him that the older teen didn't fall over. He could barely hear exactly what they were saying but he could catch something about night vision goggles but Todoroki's mind was still completely clouded. Like every word coming from someone was distant.
A sudden gasp from Kirishima had him looking up to him. Kirishima's face was completely pale with wide eyes as he shakily handed over the night vision goggles. "What's wrong? You weren't stopped were you?!" Todoroki exclaimed.
"The back left corner." Kirishima whispered.
Midoriya quickly took them and Todoroki quickly had to adjust his stance. A second later, Midoriya also gasped and muttered out, "Are those… nomu?"
Sudden movement in the corner of his eye made him look over. The movement also caught the rest of his classmates' attention as they watched a truck, worn like a shoe, was lifted in the air before a second later went crashing into the building with the nomu. Todoroki's grip on Midoriya tightened as wind gushed around them, threatening to blow them out of the small confined space.
With the wind around them now stilled, Todoroki felt a sigh of relief as his eyes settled on Best Jeanist, Gang Orca, Mount Lady, and Tiger. "The heroes were on it long before we were! Let's get home. Now we won't have to explain ours." Iida stated, the relief clear in his voice.
Todoroki agreed, thought the bubbling feeling of uncertainty remained as they started back towards where they had originally came from. The Omega halted his movements as a chill ran down his spine. He turned his head, looking back in the direction of the warehouse, Midoriya also doing the same, as foot steps rang out through the air.
"Someone get us a light!" Tiger hollered.
The sudden pit of fear filled Todoroki's stomach as he heard the voice following behind it. The new voice taunting Tiger over Ragdoll's quirk. He couldn't see what was going on but he barely picked up on Mount Lady and Best Jeanist arguing before suddenly an explosion erupted.
They were thrown off of their feet, Todoroki crashing into the wall with a gasp of pain. As the dust and debris settled, a slow clap came in as the newcomer spoke once more. This time targeting Best Jeanist. Todoroki's eyes widened as he looked up to see the man. The man's face covered by a mask as he floated in the air above the pro heroes.
With a finger out, the villain caused Best Jeanist's stomach to explode outward and the pro hero slumped to the ground. Todoroki quickly moved himself against the wall, the absolute fear coursing through his veins. He couldn't even move as his back hit the wall in that moment, listening to the villain's taunts towards the heroes.
Who is this guy… he just took out three pros like it was nothing. Todoroki thought, bracing his hands against the wall as his body shook. His friends were in no better shape. Yaoyorozu holding her breath, Kirishima trembling, Iida's face completely pale and terror stricken, even MIdoriya looked rattled. This is the main villain… he has to be the leader of the League… behind the entire thing.

Tsukauchi froze at the sight of the emerging Nomus. There was a whole bunch of them gathering midtown! He grabbed at the hem of his police vest where the communicator was secured to and brought the device near his mouth. Pressing down the button, he requested backup. Endeavour was already at site, fighting down one of the bioengineered creatures. Though, even someone as strong and capable as him couldn't hold down an entire horde of them.
"Tsukauchi," All Might's distorted voice appeared on the communication line.
"What is it, All Might?"
"I'll be going after Shirakumo and the villains. Endeavour and the other pro heroes will handle the Nomus."
Endeavours' infuriated voice sounded up, "Of course, I will! You better save the student, All Might."

Katsuki gagged at the foul taste that erupted in his mouth, hunched over coughing as his feet hit the ground once more. Grey goo sliding off of him and hitting the group as he heaved. "What the hell?!" He exclaimed, completely unsure of what had just transpired. The hairs on the back of his neck stood, a shiver escaping down his spine as a presence, an extremely powerful and dominating presence made themselves known.
His eyes widened as he looked over his shoulder to see a tall man, an Alpha male, with some sort of mask on his face. Kneeling in front of him was Shigaraki and the rest of the League were spread out a few feet away from them. Each of them also in the same position as him with their dry heaves and gagging.
"Oh god, that was so gross." Toga whined, a hand over her mouth and her face green.
"So disgusting! I love it!" Twice exclaimed.
Katsuki looked around, hoping to find some opening to get away from them. His grandfather was so close. Right within arms reach and now he was at an unfamiliar location with no idea what the hell he was going to do to get out of this mess.
His eyes scanned the area in an attempt to still find a flight route, something sneaky and fast where the villains couldn't chase him too easily. That hope shattered soon though while his spirits dropped when his eyes widened as they stopped to rest upon a dark, floating figure nearby. A faceless man clad in a fully dark attire, tubes and cables emerging from his head, which had been slipped over with a glassy socket.
The man's gaze, despite the missing irises giving away a clear direction, seemed to burn on Katsuki's skin, his back hair shooting up, teeth quivering against his will. That opponent, whatever or whoever it was, wasn't on par with the remaining bunch of League villains. That man was on an entirely different level, and Katsuki feared that if he made only a single wrong move, he'd be evaporated instantly, without any moment's hesitation from that enemy.
Against Katsuki's expectations, the man started to speak to him, the voice distorted and sounding artificial, "So, you are the boy with the great temper?"
Katsuki gulped thickly, not knowing if he was expected to answer. "The Pro Heroes will be here soon. You better let me go." Katsuki growled lowly, deep down hoping the other didn't hear the threat.
"I see most of my underlings are out cold. Did you finish them off?"
Katsuki slowly gathered his bearings and had scrambled up enough of courage to stand up and stay standing.
"If I had gotten the chance, I bet I would have kicked all their asses."
The gross guy laughed wholeheartedly, amused by Katsuki's confidence, which send a chill down the blond boy's spine. "I bet you would have...Like father, like son I dare claim." Another menacing chuckle followed.
"Wh-what do you mean!?"
"I mean genetics. Simple as that." The man made a broad gesture, placing a hand over his heart at the end of it. "My father could have taught me all kinds of combat tricks, and it wouldn't have made any difference. He was a total loser in fighting with his fists just as I am. But you…"
Katsuki clenched his hands into fists, facing the boss villain with a contorted face, clearly annoyed. "What's with me, heh!? Cut your creep talk and go hit the road with your freak show."
The villain continued, unfazed by the provocation, "You could say your daddy mastered close-ranged combat out of a physical necessity. Lacking a strength-based Quirk nowadays is hard. Yet he managed to compensate his short-comings, because it lays in his genes, fighting with his fists."
Katsuki wanted to ignore the allusions, but a deep-rooted fear for his family was already pooling in his stomach. "Dunno what you're talking about.
The blond boy didn't receive an answer back, instead the villain looked up into the sky muttering, "Ah, there you are."
"No step further, All for One!"
A flash of white came shooting down at All for One in a straight, unwavering line.
The scene erupted into an explosion of dust and flying debris, which Katsuki had to shield his eyes with his hands against.
"You're finally here," All for One singsonged.

The fear seemed to leave Todoroki's body as he heard Katsuki's voice ringing out. His body still trembled despite the lessening fear as the possible ways to get to Katsuki went through his mind. He could hear Katsuki fighting back against the League, trying to keep his distance.
We need to get to him… they are going to take him again. Todoroki's mind raced, the thought of Katsuki slipping away again made him panic. All Might was getting held back by the big villain, Katsuki was fighting against six people of his own. They were running out of options of what to do. Todoroki knew they couldn't fight the villains without risking their own futures but they had to somehow get Katsuki out of there so All Might could focus on his fight.
Suddenly Midoriya's face lit up as he looked over to Iida. Todoroki's eyes completely glued to him as he said, "I think I know a way of getting Kaachan back and avoiding combat." Even Iida lightened up, surprise on his face.
"Tell us your plan." Todoroki stated, finally finding his voice again.
Midoriya nodded, looking away for a moment. "The thing is… it's all gonna rely on him. Kirishima, you are the key to this being a success." He replied.
"We need details, Midoriya." Todoroki added.
Midoriya nodded, relaying his plan in detail. Each of them agreeing quickly. They moved into position as quick as possible. Iida and Midoriya wrapping their arms around Kirishima. Todoroki standing in front of them, prepared to do an ice wall as Yaoyorozu stood on standby to watch out for the villains.
Todoroki took in a deep breath as he watched Iida's engines heat up and Midoriya's body light up in green lightning. Kirishima hardened his body, ready to go through the wall. Midoriya nodded to him and the Omega felt the cold come to his right side. The three broke through the concrete wall and quickly he cast an ice wall as high as he could get it to go.
The three slid up the ice until they cleared the distance and were flying high in the air.
Todoroki held a baited breath as he watched Kirishima look down at the battlefield and held his hand out, yelling out, "COME ON!"
C'mon Katsuki… listen to him. Please.
Todoroki's eyes landed on Katsuki. He couldn't see the Alpha's face but he could see the smoke building up in his palms as the League started to circle around him. Just as the League members got close, Katsuki let out a shout as he was launched into the air. Todoroki felt like he could breathe again as another explosion followed and Katsuki grabbed ahold of Kirishima's hand.
We actually did. We saved him.
"Just like we thought. All eyes on them. This is our chance." Todoroki muttered.
"C'mon let's get out of here!" Yaoyorozu stated. Todoroki nodded, allowing the Alpha female to pull him away from the ledge.

At one moment, Shouta had been in the studio backroom with Vlad and Nedzu, glad to have survived the diversion tactic of a press conference, just to get horrified by the next stage of the operation: All Might battling All for One. And then, at the next, he was suddenly nauseous, a dull sensation pooling in his stomach as he felt like getting sucked out of existence. He closed his eyes, hoping for the dull ache to pass, but when he opened them again, what met them wasn't the quiet backroom anymore. Neither Vlad nor Nedzu were standing by his side. Instead the remnants and ruins of a broken city bowed its crumbling head before the great threat brought upon by Peace's nemesis. A destroyed battlefield and deafening silence surrounded, encaged, Shouta.
He tried to look around, making out his exact location. All he registered was that mist head, but nothing of his pup, Shouta clenched his fists, hard, and his nails dug into his palm. He gritted his teeth and took Kurogiri next to him into a death stare.
"You. You abducted him." He growled lowly, deeply, like the rage of all protective Omegas in the world was flowing through him.
Kurogiri floated calmly in his spot. Dark mist whirling where his head should have been. "I act only on commands, Eraser. There's no use in blaming me."
Shouta loosened his fists and looked down at his hands. Under his fingernails was red he had drawn from where they had dug into the flesh of his palm. The mist was right. Although he hated admitting as much, he was being illogical. He had to focus on finding his son and bring him back to safety.
Shouta's gaze trailed over the battlefield, frantically, searching the dust and rubbles that had been whirled up in the heat of battle in fear of a corpse with spiky, blonde hair. Over his concern, however, he forgot to break his mind on the purpose of him being transported here. Only when an all too well-known voice raised its might did he flinch and shudder in recognition. His inner Omega running haywire in face of the concentrated fragrance of overheated Alphas near-by. All Might was up-close to him, but who was even nearer was All for One. Dread pooled in Shouta as he realised the enemy standing no more than a few feet away from him.
"No need to shiver, Omega," Kurogiri suddenly said beside Shouta, who pricked his ears, sitting stiffly. "All for One brings destruction only upon those who deserve it."
The words barely wanted to form in Shouta's throat, "How...how do you know?"
The LoV servant was still for a moment before he answered, "Your behaviour indeed doesn't give you away, but your scent is more than inquisitive and—"
"Ah, I see our guest has arrived."
The battlefield seemed to slow down to a slow motion picture as the focus was placed on Shouta. His eyes gaped wide open when All for One considered him a tad too long.
"Leave him out of this," All Might growled in the distance, low, threatening, although his current state was anything but suited for barking out threats.
All for One chuckled bemused. "You're quite caring for just another Omega hero in your ranks." He stretched out his hands in a wide gesture. "You've ever seen an Omega last over the long run in the pro hero business? I haven't."
A chill crept up Shouta's spine, his teeth clenching together in anger. He was just as good a pro hero as everybody else. Also his father wasn't overly happy about that statement as his hands had started trembling, curling into unforgiving fists.
"Say, All Might," came All for One's mocking voice, "aren't you disappointed? Having such a no one being called your comrade and so—"
"Stop it!" All Might shouted out. "You don't get to diminish any of the pro heroes."
"Why so worked up, All Might? Couldn't you care less for such a small fly? Let me help you with one worry less."
All for One raised one arm, the palm of his hand aiming straight at Shouta. The Omega crawled back until he bumped into Kurogiri's legs. The mist whirled calmly in its spot.
"End of line, Omega" Mock dripped from Kurogiri's monotone voice.
Breathing suddenly became hard for Shouta, a thing of impossibility, as hitches crawled their way up in his throat.
Not enough oxygen.
"No, I can't…"
There was no option left for Shouta to escape. He'd be the reason his pup with Hizashi died before the other had even known of their luck.
Just when the sizzling energy gathered in All for One's hand shooted off, Shouta squeezed his eyes shut, anticipating the final blow finishing his life. The impact, however, never came.
"No!"
A voice shouted. Whose voice!?
A gust of wind followed. Something rattled Shouta's frame. Movement.
Then, everything went still.
The Omega barley dared to open his eyes, hardly wanted to try if he could still open them. But that he was still breathing, was a good sign, lungs sucking in air, albeit still too frantic and inefficiently. 'Come on, Shouta, you're a damn pro. You should be able to breathe in no matter what the situation is.' Although the thought wasn't much, its logic seemed to calm his shooting nerves. After that was managed, he pried his eyes open. Slowly.
To his surprise, he wasn't at Kurogiri's feet anymore. Instead, he was some metres away from the villain, cradled in… Endeavour's arms!
"Endeavour…" Shouta's voice was still weak from shock.
"Thought you were a tough one, Eraserhead," Endeavour mused in an, for him, oddly calm voice. The Flame Hero's mind was elsewhere, distracted by All Might. By the recent revelation. He shifted slightly, not letting go of Shouta as he turned to watch another pro hero arrive and occupy One for All.
Edgeshot formed and threw several thin blades toward the enemy, who in turn dodged the effort all too easily.
"Damn it, All for One is a tough one. You stay here, Eraser, until we've taken care of him." Endeavour placed the smaller pro hero on the edge of the ruins of a destroyed building, serving as a platform in a safe distance.
Shouta wanted to protest, but before he could even raise a word, Endeavour was already gone.
x
"No, master," were the last words heard from Shigaraki before he disappeared with the warp gate.
All for One chuckled loudly. "Foolish boy. I like him." He turned back to All Might, probably smirking. "They are the next generation that will carry on our fight."
"I won't let that happen," All Might protested.
All for One bowed mockingly in face of All Might's determination. "What will you do, crush my underling? Go and try it. But before that, have a small talk with the boy."
"What do you mean?"
"What do I mean...I get that a lot today," All for One scratched his head in mock puzzlement. "I mean this would be quite enlightening for you. Not literally so. But I'd be curious if you still want to fight Shigaraki afterwards."
All Might grit his teeth. "I'll fight whatever stands in the way to peace."
"Even Nana Shimura's grandson?"
"What…?"
x
Shouta could feel his heart beating against his chest, echoing in his ears as he listened to All for One speak to his father. Toshinori stood across from them, in his shrunken and weak state with a shaky fist held out in front of him.
Whatever All for One was telling Toshinori, the former Symbol of Peace had frozen into a still life. Toshinori's face was a blank mask in disbelief and horror. Even Edgeshot and Endeavour didn't dare to interrupt the conversation, when they realized All Might's reaction. Shouta used that moment of distraction to climb back his way to a nearer spot to the battlefield. He had to fight at some places, especially at higher rocks that needed to be climbed over so that his suit was giving him troubles. After a few minutes, however, he was finally in hearing range to pick up on a few words exchanged between the two fighters.
"No...that isn't true…"
"And how true it is. I raised and groomed Shigaraki to hate heroes, especially the Symbol of Fake Peace."
Shouta ducked low behind a ruin as to not be spotted by their enemies nor by Endeavour. Still, he had a clear view on his father's outraged face from his vantage point. This all had to have something to do with the villain he'd been fighting back at USJ. His elbow started throbbing at the memory.
All Might's spirits dwindled the longer the conversation dwelled on. Shouta was helpless, could only follow on until Endeavour's voice sounded up.
"Don't let him fool you All Might. Smash that bastard!" A stream of fire in All for One's direction followed, serving to accentuate Endeavour's words. The villain, bored, waved the flames away with a simple motion of his hand. Although the action in itself had seemed futile, Shouta recognized the old fire flaring in his father's eyes.
It wasn't a hard guess that All for One was probably smirking beneath his mask of flesh. Toshinori's nemesis underestimated the former Symbol of Peace, thinking he was merely toying with All Might now. But he would be proven wrong as soon as Toshinori's will had translated into every fibre of his muscles. Shouta's father would fight back!
Aware that he would give his position foolishly away, Shouta placed both hands at the sides of his mouth and shouted, "Fight back, All Might!"
Endeavour sharply turned towards him, eyes wide with surprise and anger. Shouta had calculated the Flame Hero's fury at his refusal of cooperation, but he could catch a glance at his father's former determination. Hearing his son cheering for him had sparked something within him.
x
No. Shouta didn't want to leave his father behind on the battlefield against All for One!
Let me go, Edgeshot, Endeavour.
The pro heroes, however, had a too strong grip on him so that any resistance from his side was fruitless. He still wriggled around in his place between Endeavour's hot arms from Quirk usage, while Edgeshot distracted All for One trying to pierce through the latter in the form of a thin yet sharp sword. The flame hero grunted from Shouta's protests.
"Endeavour, you need my Quirk." Shouta appealed to his reason, hiding his ulterior motives. "Don't drag me away."
"Eraser, you heard All Might. We have to create a distance to All for One, so he can fight without unnecessary distractions." Calm and logical words for a hot-headed man as him. Shouta could see the sense in it, and usually he would have suggested it himself, but that was his father out there. And he wouldn't bear to see him for a second time so beaten up and broken down. Not when he could make a difference in the fight this time.
"No!" Shouta simply shouted out, his maximum effort of argument.
Endeavour strengthened his grip around him. "Damn, what's up with you today. You're not acting yourself." The flame hero looked up to confirm how Edgeshot was faring. They still had a moment. "Listen, right now you, us, being here is a mere burden to All Might."
Tears started gathering in the corners of Shouta's eyes. I know, but still…
"I still need to help him." He hated how pathetic and wet his voice sounded, almost pleading the other Alpha to let go. Shouta made a point in never showing off too much of his caring and submissive Omega side in public, but right now it couldn't be helped. His father was in danger!
The Alpha stayed unfazed by it though, setting duty over any emotional involvement in this brisque situation. Although Eraserhead used to take that position in missions, it was now Endeavor's turn to take it when the other was compromised for whatever reason.
"No further discussion." Endeavour made sure that All for One was still busied with the other pro hero before he concentrated his Quirk around the lower part of his body to shoot the both of them off into the distance. He was careful to not singe the Omega by the heat and controlled his flames meticulously during their flight off. All Might had seemed more than concerned over the Omega so that Endeavor would better not let any additional harm come to the other.
Under the rustling of wind and the blood rushing in Shouta's ears, the Omega barely heard what the Alpha mutter under his breath,
"You better not lose, All Might."

The battle raged on, the two trading powerful blows back and forth. All for One's taunts about Tomura Shigaraki. His taunts about Izuku Midoriya. His taunts about Shouta and Katsuki. Despite all of that. He couldn't give up.
"That was even weaker then the last one, All Might." All for One drawled.
Toshinori huffed as he slammed his foot into the ground. This was it. His final stand. His final smash. He groaned as he turned slightly, barely dodging the next attack from his nemesis. Toshinori activated the last remaining embers of One for All into his right arm with a shout of, "That's because I didn't put my back into it that time!" The power surged through him as he took his stance, stomping his foot into the ground and sending out the punch. "Goodbye, All for One." The hit landing directly in the middle of All for One's mask. The mask shattering underneath the shear force of the hit. "UNITED STATES OF SMASH!"
The wind around them swirled around them like a tornado, throwing debris and rock throughout the dusty air. The ground crumbled underneath the force of All for One's body hitting the concrete.
Toshinori took in a deep breath as he felt the embers dying inside of him. This was it. All Might's last battle.
Goodbye, One for All.

It was dead silent. The wind had completely died down and not a sound could be heard. Shouta lifted his head up from where Endeavor had shielded him away from the flying debris. The other heroes were standing nearby, in the same state of astonishment. Shouta's heart pounded against his chest as he forced himself to his feet, Endeavor doing the same next to him.
His heart almost completely stopped as his eyes settled on the shrunken form of his father. Toshinori stood over an unmoving All for One, the blood dripping from his mouth as he was slumped over the villain. Shakily, Shouta watched on as Toshinori's right arm slowly started moving up until his fist was held high in the air. A second later, All Might was standing tall with his fist held high.
His father was victorious.
He could hear Edgeshot and Endeavor protesting his father continuing to push himself. Shouta could barely think of the fact that Toshinori definitely should be taking a seat and getting medical attention of his own. Rather, he was watching his father's last stand as a hero. All Might was done.
"Leave him be. This is his last job as the Symbol of Peace." Gran Torino stated, cutting off the worried pro heroes.
Shouta didn't care anymore as he found himself running to his father's side. The underlying fear that his father would end up just like his mother was long gone as the sense of relief came over him. A second later, his arms were wrapped around his father as the man wept in his ear.
"You did it, dad. Rest now. Let us handle this now." Shouta whispered as he helped his father stay standing. Toshinori just gave him a large grin.

Shouta's heart was beating in his ears as he ran through the mass of people as he went down the streets near Kamino. His mind set on one thing. Katsuki. His problem children. If not for them, he was sure that this mission wouldn't have been successful. He didn't have to see all of them to know each of the students involved. Kirishima, Iida, and Midoriya were obvious. Todoroki also had been obvious. The one he would say shocked him the most had been Yaoyorozu. She would have been the only one who could have led them there.
He felt his heart stop as he caught sight of his son standing with the police officers. The others standing not far from him in a small group. "Katsuki!" He shouted. His son turned, looking at him and it only took a second before the two were running towards each other. Shouta buried his face in Katsuki's hair as soon as his arms were wrapped around his pup. Katsuki's arms were wrapped tightly around his midsection, his pup's hands gripping tightly to his jacket. "My sweet pup." Shouta found himself whispering as he clung to his son. Katsuki didn't say a word but leaned his head against Shouta's shoulder, nose buried in the comfort of his father's warmth.
Katsuki pulled away from him, looking up with curious eyes. "Dad… are you pregnant?" He questioned.
Shouta blinked at him, caught off guard that Katsuki would know already. Instead of questioning how he knew, he smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I am."
Katsuki returned a smile to him. "I'm happy for you, dad. Did you know at the training camp?" Once again Shouta nodded. The man running his fingers through his son's hair as they fully pulled away from each other. "Kinda figures you would still kick ass despite it." The boy said, cocking his head to the side.
Shouta rolled his eyes but a smile remained on his face. The Omega turned on his heel, looking straight over to the self-proclaimed Bakugou Rescue Squad and leveled the best glare that he could on them. Instantly, the five of them were looking at the ground with hunched shoulders.
"We're expelled, aren't we?" Kirishima questioned, gulping before looking back up with determination on his face. "I don't regret it, sensei. I would do it again. I had to do something. My friend was targeted and there was nothing I could do."
Instead of saying words, Shouta walked forward and wrapped his arms around Kirishima and Midoriya. Midoriya being the one who just so happened to be standing there. He pulled away from them, moving onto Iida and Yaoyorozu before finally moving onto Todoroki.
"Sensei? You're not mad?" Midoriya questioned, the confusion clear on his face.
Shouta sighed. "I'm furious." He stated, watching as their faces dropped again. "But… you guys didn't break the law, technically." He paused, taking in a deep breath. "What the hell were you five thinking?! What would of happened if you came up on the League? Did you even think this through?"
"We didn't exactly have everything planned but we had to do something." Todoroki stated. "I… we couldn't sit around and do nothing. We saw the pros at Kamino and were about the leave until we saw Shirakumo get cornered and All Might couldn't get to him. We had too."
Shouta nodded. "I should expel each of you. I'm guessing that your classmates also knew." He gained a nod from all of them.
Midoriya's mouth dropped open. "Wait, should?"
"With tonight's events, we are going to need as many heroes as we can. All Might's career is over and villains are going to take advantage of that." Shouta stopped again, looking down at his feet for a moment. "But, you managed to save your classmate, your friend… all without breaking the law. Despite that fear, you still did it and my son and All Might are here because of you all. Now, get home before I change my mind."
Without room for an argument, Shouta watched as the five bowed to him before starting off in the direction of the nearest train station. A smile came to his face as he shook his head. His foolish students.

"Shouta!" The blonde Voice Hero called out, running towards his mate and encasing the victim of his affections into a tight embrace. "I thought I'd lose you and Katsuki."
Shouta flinched slightly. "Oi, not so firm." He snuggled out of Hizashi's hug. "I've already been feeling constricted all day long."
In a rush, Hizashi loosened his grasp for dear life around his partner and sprang a step back, apologizing heftily as though he had thrown over an expensive vase. But no sooner than a second, the blonde was at Shouta again, mustering the other's face for some scratches and smallish amounts of dried blood. He skipped pondering whose blood. His hands moved franticly, touching and driving over every inch across Shouta's face until his mate reached a hand up himself to wipe away a forming tear at the corner of Hizashi's eye.
"Zashi...Katsuki is alright. I'm alright. And about father...we'll have to see. That idiot let himself get provoked." Shouta mumbled lowly. Hizashi simply nodded silently, taking in Aizawa's calming words, although he had planned on cooling his mate down, and not vice versa.
After some minutes into their reunion, Hizashi still wasn't sure how to tackle his next question. In all of his concern about seeing his mate on a battlefield via TV, unable to help him, Hizashi had forgotten about what Nemuri had revealed to him during the press conference. Now, however, with the short luxury of a breather, the notion came returning with a vengeance, ringing louder than ever in his mind. Involuntarily, his eyes glided down towards the indeed snug area of Shouta's suit pants. So, they really were going to become...parents again.
Inconspicuously, Hizashi dragged Shouta after him into a narrow but secluded side alley. The whirlwind abruptly going on within him at the realisation of having his own pup made any coherent thoughts in him cease to matter, any trains of thought hit the brick.
In lack of any words, Hizashi stepped closer to his mate and, out of sight for anybody, placed a gentle palm against Shouta's stomach. His whisper ghosted over Shouta's ear, "How long?"
Shouta didn't reply immediately, a considerate moment before his response came out murmured, "Swear you won't laugh."
The Alpha let his hand go off Shota and placed it, crossing his fingers, over his heart. "On my life." He smirked lightly at the usually stoic man's ridiculous behaviour.
"Chiyo estimates about three months."
Three entire fucking months; and neither of them had been clocking in? Now that was news.
Although Hizashi wouldn't have loved anything more than to burst out into laughter at how right Nemuri was about them being oblivious as Hell, he stayed collected. He reached for the other's belt to loosen it into the next hole, seeing they were hidden in an alleyway out of view from reporters or any unwanted spectators, only to find the accessory already at its final limits. Shota noticed him realising.
"Yeah. There wasn't exactly much time before the conference." He huffed out. "And wearing suit pants without the accompanying belt is, as you always word it, 'a sin of fashion'."
Hizashi didn't know what to be more amazed at. That Shouta had paid his ramblings on such topic any attention at all, or that his mate went as far as to give it a heart. All in all, he felt terrible for Shouta enduring it all silently and having to go through so much inconvenience in one day, paired with shock and horror over the League of Villain's attack, All for One and Katsuki's abduction. He could only graze upon what must have been going on in the other.
"How about I make you a warm, nice coffee at home while I take care of Katsuki?" The blonde offered, feeling disgusted at the weak compensation he could only make for his partner's traumaful day.
Shouta retreated a step backwards to take the Alpha into a stern gaze. "No coffee."
No coffee?
"What do you mean? You love coffee."
"But Tiny One doesn't."
Now it clicked in Hizashi. Of course. He had heard of it somewhere that caffeine wasn't good for pups and their development. How stupid of him. Three months into being a parent, and Hizashi would almost hurt his little girl or boy. Oh damn. It was getting harder for him to stay calm. He was brimming with excitement, practically overflowing his limits, no longer able to contain it, but first, they needed to tend to Katsuki's well-being.
Aizawa squeezed his mate's hand lightly in reassurance. Everything was going to be fine. The Omega guided them both out of the side alley and released his grip on his mate's hand as soon as prying eyes threatened to spot them.
"Will you take Katsuki home?" Shouta tugged uncomfortably at the all day long worn suit, not looking forward to the prospect of more interviews. "I'll have to cover more questions from reporters."
Hizashi smiled at the Omega, reaching out and taking a small lock of black hair between his fingers for just a second before dropping it. "Of course. You take care of things here and I'll make sure Katsuki and the others get home." He muttered.
"Thank you. I won't be long." Shouta replied, taking one last look at Hizashi before he disappeared in the crowd.

Shouta was exhausted by the time he dragged himself home. Toshinori had been taken to the hospital and the other heroes who weren't injured stayed behind to assist with rescue and recovery as well as clean up. He stayed long enough to see his father taken by ambulance to the hospital and then he had left. He had gotten messages from Hizashi telling him that Katsuki had spoken to the police and while he was there Hizashi had escorted the five problem children back to their homes. The last message he had received had been an hour before that they had made it home.
The Omega crept into the house, tiptoeing to be as quiet as possible. The sun was peering through the pulled blinds but the house was quiet. Shouta toed out of his shoes, dropping his jacket on the bench. He groaned as he stretched, his stiff bones popping.
He walked through the house and started down the hall. Stopping at Katsuki's door, which surprisingly was left cracked open. His son was notorious for making sure his door was closed. Reaching out, he pushed open the door, feeling the breeze from the wind coming through Katsuki's window. Shouta stopped completely, leaning against the doorframe and just watching his son for a moment. Katsuki sat on his window seal with Stormie in his lap. The boy was looking out the window, mindlessly petting at the cat. He could hear Stormie's soft purrs from where he was standing.
"Are you just going to stand there or are you going to come in?" Katsuki questioned.
Shouta sighed softly, walking into the room completely. "Sorry I couldn't come home with you."
Katsuki shrugged. "You had grandpa to deal with and that complete mess of being warped to Kamino."
Shouta nodded, closing the distance between him and Katsuki. Wrapping his arm around the blonde's shoulder and pulling him close. "Not a second went by that I didn't want to be by you." He whispered.
"I'm not upset about that. Grandpa needed you and Papa had me. It was fine." Katsuki replied, pulling away from his father to look him in the eye. "I'm just glad to be home."
