Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom or Spider-Man. I do not own the original story this is based on.

The heroes walked in circles as they wait for the first strike. Their glares were provoking one another to move. Each one had negative thoughts as they eyed each other distrustfully.

All the while, Black Cat watched from a safe distance. Her eyes flicked with excitement. And while Spiderman had been cute in the past, the cat wanted the ghost boy to come out on top. It was a small girlish part of her that cheered wildly for her boyfriend.

"Good luck, Blue Eyes," Black Cat said softly.

Danny Phantom and Spider-Man were growing irritated from the circling and provoked each other in the first move.

"Bring it, Web-Head!" Danny said, cracking his knuckles. "I'll stomp you like a bug."

"Spiders eat bugs. I guess there's no ectomentary school where you come from," Spidey quipped.

"At least I spin better puns!"

Spider-Man dodged an incoming ectoplasm. He jumped up and used his webbing to pull himself into the ghost boy, who posed with a cocky smile as the attack went through him.

"What the heck? That's not scientifically possible!"

Danny smirked, happy to have caught him off guard.

"I guess you haven't been paying attention to classes," Danny quipped.

Insulted, Spider-Man leaped forward. The ghost boy threw a punch but was surprised when the red and blue hero used webbing to pull himself back.

The ghost boy spun around from the force of his punch before settling down. His glowing green eyes narrowed to his foe.

"I guess I've never fought a ghost before..."Spidey said.

"Don't worry, they never are easy," Danny said as he sent more blasts to the wall-crawler. Though the thought of a specific box ghost came to mind, he wouldn't tell the spider hero that.

Thankfully, Spidey dodged them and tried to formulate a plan. He needed something to bring him an edge.

One would think Danny had the fight in the bag, but Spider-Man proved too elusive for him. The ghost boy was confounded at the reflexes his red and blue opponent used to evade him. And while his punches went through the boy, none ever swatted the spider.

"This is getting nowhere," Danny muttered.

It was then the ghost boy had a plan. Flying up, he blasted the ceiling with frost, making a rink on the roof.

"If you wanted to go ice skating, then you found the wrong partner," Spidey swung over to try and attack Danny, but like before, it went through him, and the ghost boy blasted his swing. This had the spider landing on the ice, slipping down.

"Let me guess. You're not the slickest spider?" Danny quipped with a smile.

Spiderman heard this and was beginning to lose his patience.

"We'll see about that," He said as he shot another web.

Danny dodged it, and he was beginning to grow tired of this too. He decided to get more offensive now.

The two rushed to each other at full speed. Black Cat was at the edge of her seat as she watched Danny and Spidey punch with one hand and grabbed the fist with the other.

"You're going down, ghost boy!" Spider-Man said as he and his opponent locked hands. They were now mere feet away, and while Danny could go intangible, he did not want to lose sight of his opponent.

"I don't care what you are after. I am not letting you and Black Cat get away with this!" Danny yelled

Hearing that made Spiderman stop and look shocked. He lessened his strength, allowing the ghost boy to step past. Spidey stared at the ghostly hero, who noticed his look.

"Wait, you mean you aren't Black Cat's partner?..."The arachnid theme hero asked.

Hearing this made Danny dispel his ecto charge.

"N-No, I thought you were her partner," He said.

"No, I'm your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man," Spiderman said.

"And I'm Danny Phantom, ghostly superhero of Amity Park," Danny said.

Realization dawned on the two of them. Spider-Man was mostly down, given he heard of the hero earlier today.

"So...you're not the bad guy?"

"What the heck made you think I'm a bad guy?"

"Black cat said..."

That made both of them stop, realize the situation, and both hung their heads in shame. It was evident of the scam they had fallen for and slowly gazed at each other.

"She tricked us, didn't she?" Danny said.

"Looks like it," Spiderman said.

Both male superheroes groaned as they felt very foolish now, something that they usually felt thanks to one no good cat burglar and her tricks.

That cat... Spiderman thought, feeling annoyed now.

I can't believe I fell for that... Danny thought, feeling so stupid now.

She made a fool out of him again.

Darn it. First, she gets away with her loot, toys with me every chance she gets, forces a kiss on me, and now this?! Danny thought, angry.

He was about to search for that troublemaking cat before a certain maniac decided to join the scene

"Oh my gosh! My common sense is tingling!" screamed a voice from the side. The heroes turned to see Deadpool, the merc with a mouth, in his signature red and black suit.

"You!?" Spiderman exclaimed

Danny blinked in confusion.

"Who is that guy?" He asked.

"Just some nutcase. Ignore him," Spider-Man said, but that just gave rise for the merc to get up in his face.

"Now, don't say that, Spidey," Deadpool moaned dramatically. "I thought we were pals after everything we've been through."

"You mean after you had us exposed to gang members who proceed to thank you with their guns, then you decided to rush off while I cleaned up the mess," Spiderman said, still mad about that incident. He was fortunate to have his mind to get him out of that fight.

Deadpool waved him off.

"Oh, it's all in the past..."He said in his usual way.

Spiderman frowned and refused to tolerant the merc.

"Deadpool, leave," Spider-Man commanded his best friend(Deadpool no.)—the merc in the red suit. Who feigned pains as he waltzes over to Danny.

"Now that's not how you talk to your bestest buddy, right Danny?"

"Dude, leave me out of this," Phantom replied, not wanting anything to do with the merc's "friends."

"Of course, Deadpool, you really can't resist bombarding a scene, can you?..." A certain someone who only the merc could hear said.

Deadpool grinned.

"Hey FP, I thought this style was familiar..." The merc said. "So, how have you been?..."

"Oh, the usual...and you?..."She asked.

"Having fun appearing in the story," Deadpool said.

"We could tell,"

Another voice said.

"Hey there, Fuzzy..." DP said.

"Hey, Wade," BeConFuzzled Writer or "Fuzzy," said in annoyance.

"Aww, don't be like that," Deadpool whined.

However, only he can hear the two authors. All Danny and Spidey saw was the guy talking to himself.

"Uh, who is he talking to?" Danny asked in a weirded out tone.

"I told you he's a nut case," Spidey said as he watched his "friend" continue to talk to whoever he is talking to.

"Hey! I'm talking to the authors!" Deadpool said before looking to the sky. "Seriously!?...alright yeah. Good point."

Deadpool walked to the two heroes, who had their guard up. In contrast, the red-suited man looks somewhat gleeful but made no move to fight.

"Anyway, I gotta go. Got some #%* to deal with. And by deal with, I mean horrifically mutilate them, so see ya!" The merc said before leaving.

Once he was gone, Spiderman shook his head, and Danny still looked weirded out.

"Okay, I think I have officially met the craziest guy ever, and with my life, that is saying a lot," Danny said.

The teen heroes laughed awkwardly, trying to make sense of everything that had happened. There was no such luck with Deadpool, but the rest had one thing in common.

They were both fooled by Black Cat or jumped to conclusions.

Spiderman rubbed his arm, a part where Danny had hit. The ghost boy felt guilty now.

"Sorry about that," He said, feeling guilty.

"No worries, this isn't the first time Black Cat pulled something like this," Spider said.

The two stared at each other silently while Black Cat continued watching.

"What was that all about?" she commented.

After a few moments of silence, they began talking again.

"Sorry about this," Danny said with his head down.

"No worries, I'm sure this is just another ghostly phase," Spider-Man quipped.

And that when it started.

"Yeah, I'm sure that thief pulls a lot of cats outta the bag," Danny replied.

"You'd think she'd be kitten you, but that cat really plays hard yarn."

This continued for a good few minutes, much to the chagrin of a watchful kitty.

"I'll sling you later," Danny said with a wave.

"Next time, I'll make sure to have a ghost of a chance," Spidey added.

Both boys wore wide grins as their teeth shined a bit in the moonlight.

Black Cat groaned. She liked the ghost boy and spider but had enough of the puns. She left the scene in seconds as the boys continued for a while before finally saying goodbye.

"Danny is lucky he's cute," Black Cat added before leaving the scene.

She made sure to give the ghost boy a little bad luck as he went home. He could not get there before her. A girl has to get changed.

Back at the apartment, Tucker had been checking out any high tech equipment as Sam glared at him to stop.

"You know, Sam, if you didn't try to stop me, you'd have notice Danny and Felicia were gone for a few hours," the tech living boy commented.

In seconds, the goth girl left to find Danny and Felicia making out. The girl gave a harsh noise to bring attention.

Felicia gave a victorious smirk, and Danny smiled nervously.

"So...movie?" The boy asked.

The morning was rough as the ghost boy wanted nothing to do but stay in bed. After what happened with Black Cat, Danny was not sure what would happen next. He's chase after her, but she knew this city well. And what were the odds of him finding her in a densely populated city?

His survey had the answer, but the boy would not think of it.

"Morning, sleepyhead," came a soft voice. It was sweet music to the boy that he thought he was still dreaming.

Though it was not loud, the gentleness woke the ghost boy from his oh most pleasant dream, that and the curtain opening up to let the sunlight in. Danny grabbed a pillow to cover his eyes, wanting to go back to the dream, but just as swiftly, the soft object was taken.

"Still sleepy? Maybe a kiss would work."

Now Danny felt a pair of soft lips on his cheek and realized the reality of the situation. Sitting up straight, the ghost boy turned to see a fully dressed Felicia staring at him.

"Hoping to see my pajamas?" she asked coyly, making the boy blush all over. "Or was it what I was wearing in your dream?"

Realizing that he was indeed awake, his eyes widen, and he was blushing.

"F-Felicia..."

Danny stammered as he noticed his girlfriend's attire. It was a simple ensemble, once again. A Blue button-up blouse with the top buttons undone and a white skirt with sneakers. He had never seen the blonder girl in a skirt before and was happy at the sight. It wasn't as short as Paulina's. It went to her knees, but the boy's hormones enjoyed the view.

"Wow..."

He realized he said that out loud when Felicia smirked.

"See something you like?..."She teased.

To accent her attire, the girl shook her hips. The moderate skirt dances appropriately as the ghost boy stared with a red head.

"Or maybe...something else?"

"Uh...I...well..." Danny stuttered, still blushing. His eyes locked with his girlfriend's.

Felicia giggled as the boy tried to form a coherent sentence.

"Well?"

"I might be enjoying the view," Danny admired with a straight face. "I take it you wouldn't mind to a late wake-up?"

Felicia walked into the bed with her arms and legs. She seemingly towered over the boy as she leaned in, her face a breath away. The boy blushed harder as she leaned in with a kiss on the cheek and got off.

"Maybe later, now go get ready. Mother is going to be joining us for breakfast..."The blonde said as she went to the door.

After a moment, Danny's brain registered everything as he got out and dressed. Once washed and dressed, he walked out of the guest room, joining Felicia, Tucker, and Sam.

The goth girl had a face ready to kill as she eyes Felicia. But the blonde girl ignored her as Tucker distracted himself with food.

"Hey, Danny," the boy greeted his friend. "I take it you slept well?"

Danny blushed as he shook his head and answer.

"Uh, yeah..."He said.

Sam saw this and sent a dirty look to Felicia, who ignored it.

Soon, they heard a voice coming from the next room

"Felicia, breakfast is ready. Be sure your guests eat," The voice, clearly Felicia's mom, said.

Danny felt a spike of anxiety rocket into the air. An obvious reaction since he was going to meet his girlfriend's mother.

Felicia must have noticed his tension as she held his hand.

"Don't worry, Mother won't bite," Felicia said.

But Danny noticed he wasn't the only one shaking. He took a quick look and could have sworn his girlfriend was sweating a bit.

It was weird. She always seems so calm and collected. Sure, he has seen her mad but not nervous before.

Felicia shook it off and guided them to the dining room.

There, Danny finally saw the mysterious Mrs. Hardy.

She looked like a taller version of Felicia with shorter hair, with a face that was strong, and a more business suited attire. Her entire being told everyone of her high position in the industry.

Danny felt very nervous again while Felicia began the introductions.

"Mother, this is Danny, the guy I told you about, and these are his friends," Felicia said, turning to the ghost boy. "Danny, this is my mother..."

Felicia's mother eyed the boy, and Danny felt like he was being forced onto a wall and patted down for contraband.

"Lydia Anastasia Hardy, how do you do?"The woman said.

The ghost boy tensed up as he held his hand forward. Getting his nerves together, the boy spoke.

"Umm...hi, Mrs. Hardy," Danny said meekly as he stood in front of Felicia. "It's nice to finally meet you, and I'm sorry to have the first meeting like this, but I heard you were busy last night."

The mother paused and eyed the hand before shaking it with a small smile.

"Hmmm...I must say when Felicia first told me of you, I didn't know what to make of you," Ms. Hardy said calmly with a soft face. "But, I don't know any boys who stayed with Felicia long enough to meet me."

The ghost boy blushed as his girlfriend giggled. Felicia was more than happy to introduce Danny.

Ms. Hardy gave a last look over before she walked away. Before she left, the mother got a good look at her daughter and narrowed her eyes.

Nothing was said...yet.

The gang would have questioned the meeting, particularly with Felicia, but Foley's enthusiasm for the meal reminded them of their food. It was not worth it to let good eggs, tofu, fruit, toast, and bacon to go to waste.

Not even Sam could resist the smell, and she never took her eyes off Felicia. The blonde smirked but never did anything.

"This is great!" Tucker exclaimed in joy. "We should eat here more often."

"Definitely," Danny added in agreement.

Though they wondered where Ms. Hardy was the whole time. She cooked the meal, but the gang hadn't seen her much.

I wonder what she does... Sam thought.

But that was a story for another day.

After breakfast, Danny and Felicia were about to leave on their tour, but Felicia's mother stood in front of the door. The woman tapped her foot as she glared at her daughter.

"Felicia, do you think that attire is appropriate?" The mother asked.

Felicia heard this and sighed.

"Mother! I'm sixteen years old. I am—"

Her mother sent her a stern look.

"Felicia, I will not repeat myself, so go change..."The adult ordered.

Sam heard this and frowned.

As much as she hates Felicia and as much as she hates how she looks right now, she also hates controlling parents trying to tell their child want to do. She had a mind to tell the woman off.

"And last time I checked, this is the twenty-first century," Sam snarked. "Women have the right to wear what they want."

Lydia sent the goth a glare, with more power than what her parents would give. It threw the goth girl off.

"Since when are you an authority on manners?!" Ms. Hardy snapped back. "Last I checked, the Mansons were a family of socialites. So, where do you get off telling me what's right when you don't listen to your parents?"

Sam shot back a few feet figuratively. No one had ever talked to her like that. Not even her parents could manage such a tone.

"Excuse me?!" Sam exclaimed.

Mrs. Hardy just gave the harshest glare. And while the rebellious goth girl could stand up to her parents, they had nothing on an ambitious woman who worked the many hours of the days. Youthful anarchy had nothing against actually parental power, and Sam soon backed away.

Danny and Tucker were in sight awe but took a step in fear. The two boys found the mother to be impressive.

Felicia nodded sadly, knowing this was to be the outcome and braced herself for her mother's gaze.

"As for you, Felicia," the mother's face was stern again. "If you want to go out like that—" Ms. Hardy pointed to her daughter's exposed legs. "—then I suggest a dress instead. You are a Hardy, and I am doing everything I can for this family. So, I expect you to hold yourself higher."

Felicia cringed at her mother's conservative nature. The girl had the confidence to pull off any look she wanted but did not enjoy the restriction her mother had for certain things, like the dress code.

But, since her mom is providing the credit card, with only a few restrictions, Felicia conceded. She might be following in her father's footsteps, but her mother ruled the household and took care of her.

Felicia left and returned, dressed in a simple aquamarine dress with a small slit on the right side. Despite the simplicity, the gang could tell it was a brand name dress due to the cloth's material.

Her mother seemed to approve and let them go.

"Anyway, it has been nice meeting you, Danny..."Mrs.Hardy said. "Try not to have too much fun."

"I'll keep that in mind, ma'am," Danny said.

The teens left, going into the elevators as they process the person that was Ms. Hardy.

Sam was stunned silent, unable to hold her own against an actual parental figure. Danny held onto Felicia's hand, rubbing it slightly. The blonde girl looked to the boy and smiled, appreciating what he was doing. Tucker remained silent and stealthily until he was sure to be out of earshot of the apartment.

Once they were out, Danny turned to the blonde beauty.

"Sorry," Danny said, unable to think of something better to say.

Felicia waved it off. "It's okay. Mother is just doing her job. She has been working on something new and wants me to have a good life—" the blonde girl stared off for a moment. "—Even if we don't see eye to eye all the time."

She noticed the ghost boy's sad expression and wanted to change the subject. Now wasn't the time for family drama.

"Come on, let's hit the city! New York has so much to show!"

Danny and his friends smiled, save for Sam.

"Lead the way," He said. "By the way, if it means anything, I like the way you look, no matter what," Danny added. This earned him another kiss on the cheek as Felicia thanked him.

This earned him jealous glares from the boys hawking at the girl. The goth girl, feeling their stares, turned and tried to steer attention away, to no avail.

She frowned in annoyance.

"Boys..." the goth muttered.

New York has plenty to do. Starting with Manhattan, which held the best pizza in town, if not America. An excellent place for lunch after seeing such sights as Central Park, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, and even the Avengers Tower.

The gang had to hold Tucker after the last one due to the boy's obsessive attempts to see the tech inside. Though it was unlikely he'd get a tour of the inner sanctum.

Eating the delicious cheesiness of pizza, the smell was just as intoxicating. People who walked by were just as mesmerized by Felicia as they were by the smell. Probably more so of the latter.

Predominantly for four roof jumpers that were making a path coincidentally among the neighborhood.

"Mikey, if you think you can sneak another pizza again—"

But the angry turtle in red was promptly silenced by his brother.

"Dude! I think we know that guy!"

A smack came upside the head as the young brother rubbed the sore spot.

"Mikey! We don't have time for this! Or know that guy! Now come on! We're not supposed to be out here at day!"

"But—"

Another smack cut him off by his irritated brother.

The other two glanced at Danny, agreeing there was something familiar, but decided to resume jumping rooftops. They would have a busy day ahead of them.

And so did Danny and Felicia.

Felicia was determined to give him the grand tour of New York and all it's best parts.

Manhattan to Brooklyn to Queens to Times Square, the girl had the teens riding the subway to every part they could. There was the occasional trouble and not just the kind that followed Felicia. But most were obstructed by a little bad luck, while others saw the incoming forms of superheroes, like the Fantastic Four.

All in all, New York was the place to be.

It was great. The only downside was Sam and Tucker insisting on coming.

If only Sam got a clue. Felicia thought, sending a dirty look to the pesky goth before going back to being affectionate with Danny.

"So, Blue Eyes. What do you think of the Big Apple so far?" She asked.

"Awesome," Danny said.

Felicia giggled.

"Glad you enjoyed it," She said as she held the boy's hand.

Sam saw this and glared at the scene. Tucker sighed.

This would have been nicer with Velma. He thought.

But the girl had been on a road trip, it involved some kind of mysteries with her friends. Maybe he could meet her at the girl's hometown

But the thought planning ended quickly.

Soon the familiar screams of panic and fear were heard as people swarmed away. The teens braces themselves as they handled the sea of street goers rushing past them while also making sure they did not get their pockets picked.

It IS New York, after all.

"What's happening?" Danny asked.

"I am guessing that," Felicia said as she pointed up ahead.

They all saw a ghastly abomination of a ghost flying around and lifting objects with its energy. It reveled in the screams of the people as it threw whatever it could raise. Panic was everywhere as an unusual siren was heard near the ectoplasmic being.

"You got to be kidding me," Sam scoffed.

"You think Amity Park is the only haunted place in America?" Felicia quipped as she looked for Danny.

Ever the hero, Danny searched around for a place to transform. He noticed an empty alleyway and proceeded to study it for anyone before walking in, only for Sam to yank him by the collar.

"Danny, what do you think you're doing?" Sam asked condescendingly.

"Uhhh...going ghost?" Danny replied, utterly confused with his friend. "Why?"

"May I remind you of a certain girl here who may not take it well that you-"

She was cut off when the certain girlfriend walked over and placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. Danny glanced at her, seeing a smile with a nodding head.

"Oh, it's fine. Take care of business..."She said.

Felicia's words shocked Sam's jaw open. Her mouth was large enough for a bird to bathe. Tucker took a photo for prosperity as Danny, happy his girlfriend is understanding.

"Go on, I'll make sure Tucker and Tam are safe."

"It's Sam," the goth corrected with a glare, but was ignored.

Danny smiled at her, before he left to transform. However, he sent one last look to the blonde.

"Thanks, I'll be back soon," He said.

"We can talk later," she said. She smiled at him.

He smiled back at her before leaving to face the ghost.

"What was that!?" Sam demanded.

"Danny's folks are ghost hunters. So I take it they'd want to know such details," Felicia answered matter o factly.

Sam wanted to argue about how she'd know, but a cover mouth, courtesy of Tucker, prevented any words.

"Sam, she pretty is aware of Danny's life," the boy dryly added. He was lying, something the girl quickly realized to be more critical.

But it didn't stop her from glaring at Felicia. This was not over for the goth.

In the alley came Danny's battle cry, "Going Ghost!" And the boy flew into the air, ready to tackle the trouble-making ghost.

Unaware of another team of ghost fighters had arrived.

"This thing really doesn't want to be canned," the one in a wheelchair, Garret, said as he rolled around, aiming.

"What gave it away? The constant screaming or the fact it's trying to kill us?!" Yelled Eduardo, the taller Latino boy.

There were blasting at the ghost with their weapons, but the thing was fast, sneaky, and had a blast using telekinesis to lift and throw objects. And it would not be long before it would use larger projectiles.

Right now, there was a flurry of small but hard object flung at the four person squad.

"Will you two knock it off!" the lead lady, Kylie, cried out. A device in her side went off as she pulled it out. She groaned loudly as another dot appears beside the already present one. "Great, just what we need, company."

"We got another ghost coming?" Asked an African American boy, Roland. "I thought this one was alone.

"Well, I'll guess we'll find out," Kylie snarked.

To their surprise, a green exit blast hit their spook dead on, and flying in was Danny Phantom with glowing fists.

"Who the heck is that?" Garret asked.

"It can't be..." Kylie muttered.

Eduardo eyed Phantom suspiciously as Roland looked from his cover.

"Don't know him, but he doesn't like our ghost," the mechanic commented. Danny flew circles around the ghost. His weaker opponent screamed in annoyance as the ghost boy grabbed him.

"Sheesh, I don't know who's worse, you are or the Box Ghost," Danny commented.

The ghost screamed again, but no one wanted it. So, Danny produced the thermos and promptly captured it. With a loud clamp, the seal was set, and the people were safe.

The ghost fighters came from their cover as they walked closer. Kylie took a few more steps than most.

"Did he just defeat that ghost with soup?" Eduardo dryly commented. He didn't want an answer, but Roland's curiosity got the better of him.

"We could ask," Roland said.

Garret beat him to the punch with a loud "Hey!" As he waved to the ghost boy.

Cautious, Danny flew close for a better look but recognized ghost hunters when he saw them.

"Who the heck are you guys?" Danny asked, not happy at almost being so close..

"We're the Extreme Ghostbusters," Garret proclaimed. "Who are you? Some kind of superhero?"

"Ghostbusters?" Danny muttered, the name was familiar, but that was not important right now. "Um...yeah, I'm—"

"Danny Phantom," Kylie said in awe. She stared at the ghost boy with a reddish tint on her face.

Said ghost boy noticed, especially since another buster had his weapon out, as the rest did as well.

"Oh boy," Danny said as he realized things.

Another day, another chapter. Hope Danny doesn't get into too much trouble with the Ghostbusters.
