There she stood. Starring down at the bathroom counter. Positive. It said positive. She hasn't even talked to Robert about having kids. What if he doesn't want kids? Will he make her raise the baby alone? Will he leave her? All her thoughts are disturb when there is a knock at the bathroom door.

"Hey Andy are you ok?" he asked.

"Umm yeah. I'll be out in one second Bobby." she said quickly stuffing the test in her pocket. "You ready to head to work?" He asked. "Almost. I just need to pack my uniform and work out clothes then I'll be ready." She said, walking out of the bathroom.

"You know...I was thinking the other day." he said as Andy went over to the closet and got out her uniform.

"About what?" she asked.

"Well we have two extra rooms in the house, and we have been married for almost 4 years. What if I said I wanted to expand our family?" he said, wrapping his arms around Andy's waist.

"Like-like a baby?" she asked.

"Well maybe not right now. I won't push you because I know you love your job but yes, some day in the future, I would love to have a baby with you." he said kissing her.

She was speechless. Just a few minutes ago she was in the bathroom, stressing over a test and whether he would leave her or not.

"Andy whats wrong." he said, seeing a mixture of happiness, stress, and a little bit of a scared look in her eye.

"Oh umm nothings wrong." she said, biting her lip.

"Then what is it?" he asked.

"Well ummm what if said you would only have to wait a few months." she said fidgeting with the stick in her pocket, looking into his eyes with a nervous smile.

"Wait...Andy are you?" he said, a huge smile growing across his face.

"Well according to the test I took a few minutes ago," she said pulling it out of her pocket, "I am!"

"I love you so much!" he said, leaning in and kissing her passionately.

"I'm so glad your happy. After it showed up positive I was so nervous because we hadn't talked about having kids yet. I thought that you might leave me and I don't know what I would do if I ever lost you." she said, resting her head on his chest and her arms around his neck.

"Andy don't think like that. You won't lose me. I am going to be here with you every step of the way." he said, lifting her head to look her in the eyes.

"I guess we should get going. Don't want to be late." she said, grabbing her bag off the bed. "Please be careful today." he said as they walked down the stairs.

"I will. I think I might call Grey Sloan and see if they could fit me in for an appointment sometime next week." she said.

"Ok. Let me know when you find out what day." He said.

"Ok now we really should get going we have 15 minutes." She said walking out the door.

"Ok." He said unlocking the car.

The drive to the station was comfortably silent. With their hands connected, resting on Robert's leg. When they reached the station Robert went to his office and Andy went to get a cup of coffee.

"Someone's happy this morning." Maya said, seeing Andy walk into the beanery with a smile.

"What?"Andy said pouring her coffee.

"Well you just walked in with a big smile and I bet if anyone else was in here they would have found it weird to." She said walking over to Andy.

"This is what I usually look like when I walk in. I don't know what your talking about." She said, taking a sip of her coffee.

"Andy, we all know you don't smile in the morning so why are you so happy?" Maya asked.

"Fine, you promise not to tell anyone?" She said.

"I promise." She said.

"Ok let's go to your office." She said heading out the beanery.

"Why did we have to come down here?" Maya asked as they walked into her bunk.

"Because I still want to keep this from the team for right now." She said.

"And what exactly are you keeping?" She asked.

"Well...this morning I took a pregnancy test and it showed up positive. I'm pregnant Maya." She said with a smile.

"Omg Andy!" She said pulling her into a hug. "Does Sullivan know?"

"Yea. I was freaking out in the bathroom this morning and then he knocked and I had to stop freaking out. Then he talked about expanding our family in the next few years and then I said what if he only had to wait a few months." She said.

"Have you booked your first appointment yet?" She asked.

"No but I'm going to try to this afternoon to get an appointment for next week." She said, "I think I'm going to head to the beanery because the team is going to bug us with questions if we don't head up there soon."

"Yeah they will." She said standing up.

"Can I be on desk duty today?" She asked as they walked up the stairs.

"Sure." She said as they reached the beanery.

"So where have you two been?" Travis asked as they walked through the door.

"We just needed to talk." Andy said fixing her a bowl of cereal.

"Ooo gossip please spill." Vic said, sitting down next to Andy and Maya.

"There's no gossip." She said.

"Good morning 19." Robert said, walking into the beanery.

"Morning chief." They said.

"I'll be back. I'm going to see if he'll eat with us." She said getting up.

"Come in." He said, hearing the knock at the door.

"Hey." She said.

"Hey." He said.

"Are you going to eat breakfast with us?" She asked.

"I might in a few minutes." He said.

~1 week later~

"I'm so excited to see the baby today!" Andy said as she scooted closer to her husband.

"Me too." He said, placing a kiss on her shoulder.

"But what something is wrong with the baby Robert or what if we end up losing it?" She said, a tear falling down her face.

"Hey," he said, cupping her cheek and whipping away the single tear. "Let's not think like that. I bet we are going to go in that room and find out that the baby is perfectly healthy. So until we having something to worry about, calm down." He said, placing a gentle kiss on her lips.

"I just- I just can't loose anyone else in my life Robert." she said, tears forming in her life.

"Oh Andy." he said, pulling her as close as possible, comforting her while she cried.

It was 8 am when Andy cried herself to sleep and they had to be at the hospital at 1 pm. Robert soon fell asleep with Andy laying on top of him.

"Hey I just about to come wake you so you could get in the shower." Andy said as Robert walked into the bathroom.

It was now 11:30 and Andy wanted to leave around 12:30-12:45 just in case there is traffic.

"How long have you been up?" he asked, getting his towel out of the bathroom closet.

"Only about an hour. I made us some lunch and then hopped in the shower." she said.

"Ok let's eat and then I will get in." he said.

"Ok." she said.

They left the house at 12:40 and made it to the hospital at 12:55. They didn't have to wait that long when they got in to see Dr.Harper.

"So is this y'alls first baby?" Dr.Harper asked.

"Yes." she said with a smile.

"Well congratulations! I have 2 kids of my own and they are amazing." she said as she got the ultrasound machine ready. "The gel is going to be a little cold at first but after a while you will get used to it."

"So it looks like you are about 12 weeks along and there's your baby." she said, pointing to the small dot on the screen.

"Wow." Andy said as tears formed in her eyes.

"Every thing looks good. You and your baby are perfectly healthy." she said. "I will go print you guys some pictures and then you are free to go."

"Thank you." they both said.

"No problem." she said as she left the room.

"Dr.Harper had to go deliever a baby but here are the pictures." a nurse said as she handed them the pictures.

"Thank you." Robert said.

"Have a good rest of your day." she said before heading back to the nurses desk.

Andy was so mesmerized by the picture that she didn't even notice that they had made it home until Robert came over and opened her car door.

"Come on lets go fix some lunch." he said.

"Ok." she said as she got out the car.

They spent the rest of the day chilling around the house and tidying up a little bit.
