Late that day, Briar was going to the Dragon Barn where Hopper had asked her to meet him.

"What did you want to talk… about?" asked Briar as she walked in but found Faybelle there instead of Hopper.

"Did Hopper ask you here too?" asked Feybelle.

"He did, but now I think he was setting us up," said Briar whose cheeks had turned a slight shade of pink while thinking of what he was trying to do.

"What the hex do you mean he's setting us up?" asked Faybelle.

"He probably did this to get me alone with you so I would admit that I have a crush on you," said Briar as her face started to turn even redder and she began to think of strangling Hopper the next time she saw him.

"You what?" asked Faybelle as she stood there with a shocked expression while her cheeks turned a deeper shade of blue.

"I have a crush on you, Faybelle, I have for a long time now," said Briar while looking away from her.

"Wow, I did not hexpect this," said Faybelle as she covered her face with her right hand.

"I'll understand if you don't feel the same way about me, after all you actually like your destiny," said Briar.

"No, I don't," said Faybelle which surprised Briar.

"I've only ever acted mean because that's what everyone thinks I should do, in truth I never wanted to put you to sleep for a hundred years," said Faybelle as she started to walk closer to Briar.

"Instead I've always wanted to make you mine for a hundred years," said Faybelle while standing right in front of the daughter of Sleeping Beauty and smiling at her.

"Re… really?" asked Briar who was as bright as Raven had been that morning.

"Really," said Faybelle before kissing Briar.

"Hex it, now I have to thank Hopper the next time I see him," thought Briar as she kissed the dark fairy back.
