Amity, Skara, Boscha and Gus sat in the Treasure Shack. Willow said that this was important. Willow walked in with Amelia and were bombarded with questions.

"Is Luz okay?"

"What did you see?"

"What happened?"

"Will you guys stop asking questions for five seconds?" Willow said, "We found out a lot about Luz. But I think we deserve an explanation from Luz herself."

Luz walked into the Shack and Amity immediately tackled her with a hug.

"Luz, I was so worried about you." Amity said.

"I know. I'm sorry I worried you so much, Ami." Luz said, wrapping her arms around Amity.

"So, Willow said something about an explanation." Boscha said.

"Right. There's a reason that I haven't told you, or anyone, about myself. I... when I was a newborn, someone sent an assassin after me." Luz stopped and noticed the looks of horror on her friends faces, "Yeah, so anyway, I keep almost everything about me a secret so others don't get hurt just by knowing me."

"D-do you know who sent them?" Skara asked.

"No, my parents have spent the better part of 14 years trying to figure out who did it." Luz said, "So I think it goes without saying, but stop trying to find out my secrets before they come after you."

"Oh, you know about our little... meeting?" Amity asked.

"Yes, I know about your meeting... I guess I should be allowed to tell you small things about my family." Luz said, "Is there anything you have been wondering?"

"How do you afford the gifts you give us?" Boscha asked.

"I should've expected that one. The truth is, my family is rich. I figured I could use it to get you guys nice gifts."

As Luz answered questions that don't give away too much, the man that tried to burn Luz's memories stood in front of a shadowy figure.

"Well, it would seem that your mission was unsuccessful. Shame, really, but you know the consequences for failure."

The man sent a knife through the chest of his assassin. The man bled out on the floor as the man walked towards a window.

"Soon, Princess. Soon you'll meet your end."

Luz walked into the castle where her mother immediately pulled her into a hug.

"Oh, Mija, we were so worried when we heard what happened."

"Mom, I'm fine. I feel like someone hit me with a frying pan but other than that I'm good. No need to worry."

"I spent 9 hours pushing you out of my body, I'm always going to worry. When you become a mom, you'll understand."

Camilia held on to Luz for nearly five minutes before Luz tried to get out of the hug.

"Uh, mom? I have to get Skara a present for her birthday this weekend. Can you let me go now?"

Camilia had an evil smile that Luz couldn't see. She let go only for Belos to sneak up behind Luz and pull her into another hug.

"Oh, come on!" Luz said.

Her parents just laughed at her annoyance. Despite how annoying they can be, Luz couldn't help but laugh with them.
