"Heheh….looks like our plan has just gotten started." DaDan , watching video feed of Lila speaking with Chloe.
"And we're sure we can use this girl?" Shigaraki asked.
"Yeah. A liar like her can easily persuade even the biggest idiot what is true with her lies." Techno said. "Problem is we need a way to keep the real heroes distracted."
"I've already taken care of it." Mayura said switching to the feed of a giant lollipop sentimonster wreaking havoc.
"How...interesting. Using Gigantitan's uncontrollable emotions to your advantage." Techno said, visibly weirded out.
"It's only meant to serve long enough for that girl to become crestfallen so that Hawk Moth can akumatize her." Mayura said.
"Very well, just make sure to watch yourself." Techno cautioned. "Don't overexert yourself. With any luck, it shouldn't take too much to push her over the edge."
"I know." Mayura said as she headed out.
Back outside, the heroes were dealing with the sentimonster as they tried to get to August's pacifier to release the Amok. A few of the heroes saw the Bee Signal in the air as they fought.
"I thought you said you were gonna tell Chloe today about this." Zephyr said.
"I was!" Ladybug said dodging a smashing fist. "But the sentimonster got in the way!"
"Can we not blame each other about this right now?" Shanoa said. "Sectonia, could you go talk to her? We'll hold things here."
"That seems like a bad idea...considering we have our hands full here." Rainbow said.
"Rainbow is right. I feel bad for Chloe, but we have to deal with this right now. I'll apologize to her about this later." Sectonia said.
"Then what should we do?" Al asked.
"For one, stop asking that." David said.
"I got this!" Ladybug said making a tripwire as the sentimonster walked right into it and fell to the ground.
"Oh...here we go." Hope said finding the pacifier on the ground as he smashed it and freed the amok which Ladybug caught and purified. "Still...doesn't it seem a little strange to be fighting just the sentimonster and not the villain alongside it?"
"Be on your guard, Hope… I don't think it's over yet." David said.
Meanwhile in the mansion…
"They defeated it." DaDan said.
"So what? It was only meant to distract anyway. And the akuma is on its way." Spinner said.
"Chloe Bourgeois...help me and we shall reclaim the Bee Miraculous and you can be a hero once again." Hawk Moth said.
"No...I am a superheroine now. I will always be Queen Bee. She'll call on me. I know it!" Chloe said as the akuma left her.
"She's got a stronger will than we thought." Compress said.
"She's certainly unique… in her own way." Hawk Moth said. "Luckily, I sense another distraught soul." he said as the akuma went into Sabrina's pole. "Miraculer, your friend has rejected you because she's only interested in those with powers. You will be given the power to steal them. You'll get your friend back but in exchange, I require the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses."
"It will be done, Hawk Moth. Chloe and I will be real friends at last." Sabrina said as she was transformed into Miraculer.
It was back at the park she then made her presence known to the heroes.
"Yep. Called it." David said.
"Always the intuitive one, David Ishihara." Miraculer mocked as she jumped down. "You all have ignored Chloe for the last time."
"That's not true, we were about to go see her, when…!" Hope started.
"Hope, she's akumatized. She's not going to listen to reason." David said.
"I know, wasting my breath…" Hope said.
"And you're supposed to be a big shot hero?" Miraculer asked.
"Oh, will you stop it?" Ladybug said going at her only to be hit by Miraculer's tonfa as Ladybug symbols appeared all over her outfit.
"Oh… This is not a good sign." Yoko said.
"And she could steal Cat Noir's powers too if given the chance." Saaya said.
"Think we might need some backup. I'll go to Master Fu's." Glimmer said.
"No, you won't." Sectonia said. "Don't you get it? Don't you understand the reason she's acting like this?"
"She's trying to defend her friend who was ignored. She wants to be on equal footing with her." Asta said.
"Exactly… Which no one has been doing lately. That's why I'll be the one to go to Master Fu's...because I'm the only one Chloe trusts." Sectonia said.
"You realize that might change after this, correct?" Vegeta asked.
"Vegeta, enough." David said. "Sectonia is right. We are going to need everyone for this, INCLUDING Chloe. And she's going through with this, whether we have a say in it or not."
"Okay...just go and get them. We'll keep tabs on Miraculer." Jexi said.
"Right. I'll be back soon." Sectonia said as she headed off.
"*sigh* Why is it that history repeats when Chloe enters the topic?" David asked.
"Part of it cause she's a brat, another cause she's like Sectonia that first time we fought her." Pit said.
"And the fact that constantly talking her down leads to someone being akumatized where we actually need her." Jesse said.
"But we know she can't keep being Queen Bee. Everyone knows who she is. She'll just end up endangering her family and friends." Elementa said.
"Yeah… You guys have a point there. But...I just wish we wouldn't have to keep going in circles about this." David said.
"I know, David. I'm sorry, but like it or not, even history has to repeat itself sometimes." Miriam said.
"Let's stop and focus on the bad guy then." Eijiro said as they kept track on Miraculer.
Miraculer had soon returned to the hotel.
"Chloe! Look at it! I've just become a powered up hero. Now I'm Ladybug and Cat Noir. But you can still be Ladybug." Miraculer said.
"You dumb girl. You can't be Ladybug. And I don't wanna be Ladybug. I wanna be…" Chloe said before seeing Sectonia arrive with the Bee Miraculous. "It's about time!"
"Sorry I'm late. Traffic was a real pain this time of day." Sectonia said.
"Whatever. Just give me my…" Chloe said before the Bee Miraculous was taken from Sectonia's hand as standing next to Miraculer was Mayura. "Who are you supposed to be?"
"I am Mayura. And you can be Queen Bee again. Just do it on our side." Mayura said.
"Chloe… I'm sorry. I know how hard it is to feel like you're just staying on the sidelines. But… Not once have I ever given up on you, even when it felt like everyone else did." Sectonia said.
"Ugh. Enough from you." Miraculer said as she and Mayura went to attack Sectonia only for her to vanish. "Huh? She exploded!"
"No...she wasn't real. An illusion!" Mayura said, turning to see Sectonia behind her.
"Surprise!" Sectonia said as she dealt a swift kick at Mayura. "I'll be taking this." she said, grabbing the Bee Miraculous and tossing it to Chloe who then became Queen Bee.
"Oh yeah. Now it's my time!" Queen Bee said as she gave chase to Mayura.
"Well, now that we got her out of the way." Sectonia said.
"Don't even think of it. Right now, I got the powers of creation and destruction. I can easily get rid of you." Miraculer said.
"If you are so sure, then go ahead and try." Sectonia said.
"Okay. You asked for it. Cataclysm!" she said, rushing at Sectonia.
"Shell-ter!" she said being protected.
"What? But you can't…" Miraculer said before the illusion faded to show it was Carapace.
"She can't. But I can." Carapace said.
"Smooth...real smooth." Rena Rouge said standing with the real Sectonia.
"Hey, it was hard getting into her character." Carapace said before kicking the tonfa out of Miraculer's hands.
"Show's over!" Sectonia said cutting right through it, releasing the Akuma and the stolen powers.
Back at the mansion…
"Ugh…we lost again." Pete said. "Our plan failed."
"Not entirely. True Miraculer was defeated but...the seeds of doubt have been planted within young Chloe...as have the seeds to the big plan." Techno said.
"Sectonia doesn't know it yet, but Chloe's faith in her and Ladybug are slowly dwindling. And very soon, she's going to have a much bigger role to play in all of this." Hawk Moth said.
After the damage was fixed…
"Chloe, can… Can I talk to you for a minute?" Sectonia asked. "I… I know I can't speak for everyone on this, but…"
"What? Are you trying to convince me that your friends don't see me as a great hero?" Chloe asked.
"Th-that's not it at all. It's just that, well… We were just worried about you. Especially since everyone knows your identity, including Hawk Moth." Sectonia said. "You probably think that I'm no different from them right now, do you? But sometimes...I wonder if it was my fault for encouraging this in the first place."
"It's...fine. Really. I understand perfectly." Chloe said.
"Really?" Sectonia asked.
"Yeah...I understand. I can never be Queen Bee again but it's for protecting everyone." Chloe said.
"That's the gist of it, yeah. But no matter what happens, I still haven't given up on you. Even if you won't be Queen Bee anymore… I will always think about you when I'm out fighting. Because that's what real friends do, right?" Sectonia asked.
"Right." Chloe said.
"Take care of yourself Chloe." Sectonia said as she took off.
Chloe waved her off before looking at the photos of her with Ladybug and her with Sectonia. When Sectonia was out of sight, she tore up the Ladybug Photo but with the Sectonia one, she hesitated before deciding to just put it back for now as she went back inside.
