I have been lucky enough to have been nominated for a course. Finally. It only took like four year. I was going to be away for 5 days to do advance driving. We would be staying at the venue as well. It felt good getting out of the house because I felt like I was suffocating. I felt bad for feeling like that but I didn't feel guilty about it.
This was just a break to get my head on straight. To get my thoughts in order. This course couldn't have come on a better time.
I was finished for the day, and finished with the homework we were given as well, now I was just laying there on my bed looking at the ceiling. I wish I had brought my laptop, to have kept me entertained or well busy.
I grab for my phone and move to my messenger, our group chat has been pretty active. So Lucy had this idea to do a group chat for our team, we can share information on it, when we work operations and other stuff that is work related. It was a good idea on her behalf and I do not understand why we didn't we think of it earlier. I mean Erza didn't even think of it.
I go over my contact, my wife wasn't very chatty as she was currently at work and it seems that I had no other person to speak to. I sigh as I continue to scroll down my phone and that is until I stop at Lucy's name. I look at her profile picture. A picture of her and Chaise smiling side by side with each other. Her status only being a Start with the letter 'C' and a heart. They made a good match, that I could say. But somehow I didn't think he was the right fit for her.
'Hi' was my simple first text to her. She was rather fast when replying.
'Hello' I smile somewhat as I read her greeting.
'What are you up to?' I find myself asking and I see instantly she is typing.
'Just watching some TV, you? How is the training?' she asks and I smile as I contemplate my next text but my train of thought is interrupted, my phone ringing. Truecaller showing me that it was Lucy. I shake my head from side to side as I swipe left and bring the phone to my ear.
"Hello," I answer and I can hear in the background that she had something on.
"Hello fuck nut." She replies and I frown, when the fuck did I inherit this new name that she was calling me?
"The fuck?" I ask and I hear her giggle at that. "Any way," I continue as I prop myself up on my elbows.
"How is the training going?" she asks and I smile as I place the phone on speaker and sit up straight.
"Good, done with day two, three days left." I reply.
"It's boring at the station without you." She says and for a moment I actually feel missed. "I have no one to talk shit with." She continues and I smile at this.
"Oh come on, I am sure you can last a few days without me." I reply back and I hear her sigh.
"Probably." She replies and I chuckle. "So what's up?" she asks and for a moment I frown.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"Well you called?" she asks and for a moment I am confused because she called me. I raise a brow.
"I think it's the other way around Miss Heartfelia." I reply and there is a moment of silence on her side and then I hear some movement.
"Oh…" she replies and then I think it really sunk in. "Ohhh." Was her reply and I just continue to chuckle. "I'm just lazy to type, so yeah." Came a rushed answer. Quick thinking there but it was already to late.
"No you just wanted to call to hear my voice?" I ask and at this she gives a giggle.
"Never." She replies. "But I gather that you are bored and can do with some company since you messaged me first." Which was actually true and on point.
"Yeah, tis true." I reply and move back on the bed. Something in the back of my mind spiked as I look to the window of my room then to the door. "So… Have you thought about what we spoke about?" I ask almost nervously.
"Hmm?" she probes.
"You know… about the friends with benefits?" I ask and almost feel like stuttering. I won't lie and say I wouldn't feel disappointed if she did refuse it.
I hear some movement on the other side of the line. "I have thought about it." She stops as I continue to listen, waiting not so patiently. I was getting my hopes and I know that I should not, but deep down inside of me I just knew I wanted this with Lucy. "I am not declining, but we see how it goes and see if it leads up to it." Came her reply and I wouldn't lie and say I wasn't surprised.
"So you would be fine if this happened?" I ask a bit unsure.
"Yeah, I would be fine with it. Would you?" she asks and I am torn because I wanted this but knew I should not do it.
"Yeah." I reply back,
"I know it's going to be hard on you if we did it and you felt guilty for cheating on your wife. So do what you think is right." Came her answer and for a moment I just sit there thinking that we would be in the same boat but she was worried about me.
"You would be cheating on Chaise." I replies and there is a sigh on the other side.
"Stop ruining the mood and tell me what your wearing." Came her fast reply and I almost get whiplash from how fast the conversation turned around. But I smile.
"I am wearing normal clothes and you?" I ask knowing that I sounded lamer then I was at the moment.
"Lingerie." Came her one word reply, I bite the inside of my. Just imagining her in lingerie made me want to see her even more. "Black lingerie, my bra has a little bowtie on it so does my panties." At this I stop breathing. Fuck I could see her in some sexy as fuck lingerie right now. My thoughts were in overdrive and my heart started to pump more blood which just went to my groin.
"Are you really telling me you're at home only wearing lingerie?" I ask and I know my voice is breaking a bit.
"Yes." She replies and then there is a ping from my phone and I frown.
"Hold on." I say as I look down to my phone, seeing the notification of a message. I look and see the message is from Lucy and its not a message but a picture. I open it and I am instantly in awe and completely rock hard as I see her in the black lingerie she was just speaking about. Perfection. I had no other way to explain it. God she was something else. I am at a loss of words as I look at the picture, She is laying on her bed, the picture taken in such an angle that I see her small smile, the curve of her breasts and curves of her hips. "Natsu?" I hear her small voice but I am still admiring this picture she sent me, but a few minutes later she unsends the picture. I frown bringing the phone to my ear.
"Why did you delete it?" I ask as I look back to my screen, her side is completely silent as I continue to listen.
"Maybe I shouldn't have sent that. Sorry. Came her quick reply and to this I just chuckle. Silly woman.
"No, I loved it." I manage to say trying hard to keep the picture in my mind because I will need it a bit later to take care of my problem that was current going on in my pants. "Why did you delete it?" I ask.
"I just… I don't know. I need to go." She states on the other side and I frown as I have no idea what just happened. And how this conversation took a turn for the worst. "I'll speak to you soon. Bye Natsu." She states and she lingers a while longer.
"Speak to you soon Lucy, bye." I say and after that she ends the call.
What had just happened? I sit back and look to the ceiling as I contemplate on what I could have possibly done wrong for her to just leave like that. I sign turning to my side, about ready to place my phone on my bed side table when it vibrates in my hand, I look and see another picture from Lucy, this on she is upright, but it only shows from her breasts to her head, her eyes open, her tongue out and a peace sign with her hand to the right. I chuckle and shake my head. Silly woman.
