This chapter was intended to be chapter 8 but I found it easier to push it back. Still kinda strange being up here. I also want to apologize for some people not being able to see CH7 around Halloween, the severs are all screwy from what I've been told. Anyways, I hope to be back on schedule for the upcoming chapters.

Nightmare

'You're not what she wants'

'You're holding her back'

'She could never love you'

The voices came from all around him. Ezra ran through the black, trying to find away to escape the voices. He eventually fell into a hole that was blacker than black. As he sat back against nothing, the voices grew faces.

"You failed me padawan!" Kanan yelled.

"You killed the love of my life!" he heard Hear scream.

"You abandoned me! You broke my heart" Sabine scream at him.

"You have failed your friends." The calm voice of Thrawn broke through next.

"Come my apprentice fulfill your destiny." Maul

"My daughter deserves more than a Jedi!" Ursa

"How could I ever love you." Sabine

That broke his heart, he could not believe what he was hearing. Suddenly the vision changed and Sabine stood in front of him, Darksaber drawn.

"You know what? My mother was right, I wasted my time with a poor excuse for a Jedi. I mean you left me for your own stupid quest into the unknown. Why did I ever come and find you!" Sabine swung the ancient black sword at Ezra's chest, but he rolled away. He didn't want to hurt her.

"Sabine, I love you. I always have, I always will." Ezra said standing.

Sabine appeared behind him and knocked him to the ground. "I should have killed you when I had the chance, time to right that wrong."

"I'm sorry Sabine." He cried as he reached for his saber to block her strike.

Sabine had heard him talking in his sleep, so she reached out to his arm. He was thrashing around with his eyes squeezed tight. "No" she heard him say. "Ezra?... Ezra!" she attempted to wake him. When he reached his hand out, she should have guessed what would happen next. The lightsaber flew from across the room and into his hands. It ignited, the blade grazing Sabine's left cheek. She screamed as she jumped back from the emerald energy beam.

It was only hearing her scream that Ezra was pulled from his horrendous night terror. Looking to his girlfriend, he saw she was holding her face and blood was leaking under her hand. He moved to comfort her when he heard a familiar hum of his lightsaber, it was pointed at her. Standing and realizing what he had done, Ezra ran out of the room and to his meditation chamber (once a storage room). He locked the door behind him and cried in the corner. He knew this life was too good to last, he was doomed to screw it up somehow. It was about 0430 (4:30 am) when he heard a soft knock at the door. Refusing to get up, he just laid back down.

"Ezra please open up." Sabine said softly. She had gotten an ice pack and was holding it to her cheek. She has already gotten bacta patches and ointment to apply to her cheek, but it would leave a scar. Much like Ezra's double scar.

"No, I will only hurt you again." Ezra said through muffled sobs.

"Alright I'm coming in whether you like it or not." Sabine declared as she pulled out her WESTAR-35 and set it to stun. She shot the door lock and it slid open to reveal Ezra curled up in one corner, and his lightsaber across the room. Carefully, Sabine moved to him, not wanting him to be alone. "Ezra, I'm okay see?" she soothed as he pulled his head up and looked at her. Seeing the bacta patch he curled back up, muttering apologies. "Ezra Bridger look at me!" Sabine yelled, drawing his attention. Calming back down she moved to where was and laid up against him. "I'm not afraid of you Ezra. It was a nightmare, a horrible one I can assume."

"I don't want to talk about it." Ezra mumbled.

"You don't have to, but let me help you. I love you and that won't change." She declared as she snuggled up against him. And there they laid until dawn broke. Ezra never went back to sleep, not wanting a repeat of earlier. After a while he carefully picked Sabine up and carried her to the bed. He laid her down and went into the living room. He eventually fell asleep due to not sleeping half the night, and the stress of the nightmare wearing him out.

Sabine woke hours later finding herself alone in the large bed. Wondering how she got there and where Ezra could be, she ventured out into the living room. She found her lover sitting in the chair with his little radio on quietly playing on the shelf next to him. Deciding to start the day, she made her morning caf and made some breakfast.

Ezra woke to the smell of caf, and saw Sabine standing in the kitchen. Not really wanting to talk about last night he stayed quiet, listening to her sing "Warmness on the Soul". He listened and realized that even though he could have killed her, she still loved him and was willing to help him through this event.

Sabine was unaware Ezra had awakened and kept singing. "You'll never feel alone again, with you by my side. You're the one. And in you I confide." She then felt eyes on her and turned to find Ezra staring at her. Tears in his eyes. She slowly made her way towards him, seeing him tense up. She sat in front of him. Reaching for his hand, she pulled it to her cheek and let it rest on the bacta patch.

Ezra didn't want to look her in the eye. He had hurt her, and he could never forgive himself for that. After a little while she stood and sat in his lap. That was when it hit him, a connection through the force. It felt like the day he met Kanan. He looked up at her in confusion. "S-Sabine?" he stuttered out.

"Yes, my love." She cooed as she leaned to him more.

"Why do I feel a force connection from you? Its like the day I met Kanan,, but from you." He asked still confused.

She was even more confused, yet she had an idea. She had been off of her contraceptives for about a week. The morning her parents called was 3 days ago. She gasped at the realization.

"What? What is it?" Ezra looked at her more worried.

"Ezra I-I.." She got off of him and ran to the refresher, not closing the door. After about a minute Ezra walked in after her, to see her sitting against the wall with a small device in her hands.

"S-Sabine? What is that?" Ezra questioned.

She turned and looked at him with a smile to rival a star. "Ezra, I'm pregnant."

This chapter felt very bi-polar. I was just going to have them talk about what happened, but I figured I'd end it on a happy note. Hope you all had a Wizard Halloween and I will see you all next time. TurboKnight out!
