"It's no secret that the chill of death is a horrifying fate." Wiz stated.
"Especially by the hands of these two COOL masters of cold!" Joked Boomstick.
"Sub-Zero, the icy assassin from Mortal Kombat." Wiz introduced.
"And the Ice King, the frosty princess pilferer of Adventure Time." Boomstick introduced. "He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick."
"And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armour, and skills to find out who would win a DEATH BATTLE!" Wiz added.
(Sub-Zero)
"In the world of Mortal Kombat, there was a war going on between two clans of assassins." Wiz explained. "The Shirai Ryu and the Lin Kuei."
"Yeah, the Lin Kuei were kind of desperate for warriors to fight in their armies, so even resorted to kidnapping children to use in their war." Boomstick added.
"As it turns out, two of these children were descendants from beings who mastered in ice magic." Wiz added. "These two children were Bi-Han and Kuai Liang."
"These two young ice mages went on to become fierce warriors for the Lin Kuei gang." Boomstick explained. "Eventually, for reasons unknown, Bi-Han adopted the name: Sub-Zero."
"Sub-Zero was a deadly warrior who annihilated the majority of the rival Shirai Ryu clan." Wiz explained. "Unfortunately for Bi-Han, one of them named Scorpion was left, and murdered Bi-Han in a fit of rage."
"Kuai Liang was obviously pissed at that." Boomstick added.
"To honour his fallen brother, Kuai Liang assumed his late brother's mantle, and went on to become champion of the Lin Kuei." Wiz explained. "Sub-Zero had been reborn."

"By freezing the moisture from thin air, Sub-Zero has tons to choose from." Wiz added. "Such as sliding for surprise attacks, near-instant teleportation, making ice clones for additional attacks, and even make ice weapons such as daggers, swords, axes, and hammers."
"On top of all of that, he can make ice so cold, it almost instantly freezes whoever touches it!" Boomstick added.

"His teleportation keeps him one step ahead, that ability even baffles his fellow Lin Kuei assassins." Boomstick added. "Oh, and he can even turn into a damn Polar Bear! How the hell does he do that?!"
"To trump all of that, Sub-Zero is anything but merciful when it comes to his brutal fatalities." Wiz added. "Like Bi-Han before him, Sub-Zero can brutally rip off a victim's head with their spine still attached."
"And when he is feeling even more brutal, Sub-Zero's got cold options up his sleeve." Boomstick added. "Most of his other fatalities revolve around his signature Ice, and even freezing half or more of the victim. Some of deep freezes are as fragile as a glass window!"
"It mostly takes Sub-Zero four seconds to freeze a single person solid." Wiz explained. "That is impossible in the real world. To freeze a person that fast means he would be lowering the surrounding temperatures to negative six and a half million degrees fahrenheit!"
"That's thirteen thousand times colder than absolute zero!" Boomstick added. "That means it's a temperature that can never hope to exist!"
"Ol' Subby has quite a reputation as a fearsome warrior." Wiz added.

Boomstick listed.
"That's just scratching the surface compared to his durability." Wiz added. "He once got torched in the face by a flamethrower, double impaled through the torso, then torched again, and his greatest durability feat of all: after being turned into a cyborg, he was blown to a bloody mess, then reassembled into his human self while still conscious."
"That. Is. BADASS!" Yelled Boomstick.
"Try not to overestimate him, Boomstick." Wiz replied. "While Sub-Zero may have all of that power, he is still a mortal man. Not to mention, his emotional journey to live up to his late brother's mantle clouded his judgement of others time and time again."
"You think that stopped him from becoming the Lin Kuei's grandmaster?!" Boomstick replied. "And even finding Dragons?! He changed their allignment, and formed an alliance with Scorpion and the Shirai Ryu clan! Sub-Zero is one cool cryomancer."
"I would kill you, but that is not my purpose here." Sub-Zero stated.
(Ice King)
"In the distant Land of Ooo, there was a Mushroom War going on." Wiz explained.
"But before this war, there was a man who travelled with a little girl whom he wanted to protect." Boomstick added. "This man was... Simon."

It turns out the crown granted him powers beyond his comprehension." Boomstick added. "Suffice to say his fiancé disappeared, he abandoned Marcy, and he became the king of cold that is: Ice King."
"This crown has lead Simon to rule a kingdom full of Ice and Penguins." Wiz added.
"Sounds like the weirdest Club Penguin server ever made." Boomstick added.

"How in the hell?!" Exclaimed Boomstick. "I wanna do that?!"
"It's not as easy as it looks, Boomstick." Wiz replied.
"Wait, did he just summon Ice weapons?!" Boomed Boomstick. "Where have I seen that before?..."
"Anyways, Ice King also has the ability to summon a snowstorm which infected the entire Candy Kingdom." Wiz added.
"You'd think with these abilities, Ice King would have no problem taking over Ooo." Boomstick stated.
"Oh contraire, Boomstick." Wiz replied. "His schemes are always stopped by a certain boy and his dog."

"Yeah, that King of Cold mainly sees those two as a burden." Boomstick added. "They're always there to halt his princess pilfering. But, why would he need to kidnap a princess to marry one? Hasn't he ever heard of online dating?"
"Probably not." Wiz replied. "He may be the ruler of an icy empire, but his arrogance and rage could lead to him being distracted from his goals, and lose focus on his enemies. Regardless, who better to rule the Ice Kingdom than a bearded ice mage with a big nose?"
"No one sucks the life from my Penguins except me... and maybe Polar Bears, because that's just nature, Gunter." Ice King stated.
"Alright, the combatants are set, and we've run the data through all possibilities." Wiz stated.
"It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!" Yelled Boomstick.
(The battle)
The scene was the Ice Kingdom. Ice King was talking to his Ice minions.
"Alright, who's ready for the big princess raid?" He asked.
Suddenly, Sub-Zero used his teleportation to appear a few meters away from Ice King and his minions.
"You misuse your cryomancer abilities." He informed.
"My what?" Ice King replied.
"Instead of using your ice magic for the benefit of others, you use them for your own gains." Sub-Zero replied. "Now, I shall teach you true cryomancer powers."
(FIGHT!)
Sub-Zero fired an Ice Ball at Ice King, who dodged it.
"Oh, so you wanna go, huh?!" He replied. "Ice minions, attack!"
The Ice King sent his minions to attack Sub-Zero, who drew an ice sword, and fought back.
"Guess what, I can make ice weapons too!" Ice King exclaimed.
Ice King made ice nun chucks appear on his hand, and tried to knock out Sub-Zero, only for them to shatter, and then get knocked into the mountains by Sub-Zero's ice hammer.
Sub-Zero used his slide ability to rush to the mountain to find Ice King, who, not to Kuai Liang's knowledge, was flying in the air, and launched an ice attack at Sub-Zero, freezing his leg.
"I have you now!" Ice King yelled.
Sub-Zero unthawed his frozen leg, and teleported away.
"Now where did he go?!" Ice King demanded.
After searching around the Ice kingdom, Ice King thought he found Sub-Zero, and rushed to it, only to be frozen in place because it was an Ice Klone. Sub-Zero then appeared out of nowhere, and knocked Ice King away, knocking off his crown in the process.
"Now I'll show you!" Ice King yelled.
Ice King tried to use his ice magic, but it didn't work. By the time he realised his crown was knocked off, Sub-Zero fired an Ice Ball, which froze Ice King solid.
It was time for Sub-Zero to FINISH HIM! Sub-Zero teleported behind Ice King, grabbed his frozen throat from behind, and ripped off Ice King's frozen head with his spine in tow. Sub-Zero then shattered Ice King's frozen body with a single kick, then held Ice King's head in the air.
FATALITY!
(K.O.!)
"Now this battle was COOL, pun intended!" Boomstick joked.
"While Kuai Liang and Simon were both skilled in Ice Magic, only one of them was more prepared for this battle." Wiz explained. "First off, shattering titanium with a single chop more than gives Sub-Zero the advantage in strength since Ice King's reliance on his Ice Magic made this factor perfectly clear."
"Sub-Zero has fought ninjas, robot ninjas, sorcerers, ghosts, aliens, monsters, fellow assassins, and other Ice Mages. Simon didn't have anything Kuai Liang could counter. Besides, Sub-Zero could take blow after blow after blow, so it would be tricky to take him down quickly." Boomstick added. "While Ice King could go down after a few blows."
"Ice King's greatest weakness what that his crown is the main source of his magic." Wiz explained. "If it was to get knocked off, he would not be able to use his Ice Magic. Given Sub-Zero's talents and skills, it's easy to believe he could do the same."
"Sub-Zero had better manoeuvre ability on land given his sliding skills, while Ice King had better manoeuvre in the air given his flight." Boomstick added. "However, Sub-Zero's teleportation and Ice Klone ability kept him one step ahead of Ice King, preventing him from getting a solid hit on him."
"Ice King was a memorable character and unique Ice Mage, but Sub-Zero's superior strength, durability, and abilities tipped the scales in his favour." Wiz explained.
"In the end, Ice King got the cold shoulder." Boomstick joked.
"The winner is Sub-Zero." Wiz stated.
Now that I finished this battle, I can read my next two Skatoony chapters. Also, next time on DEATH BATTLE:
