If Aizawa expelled…
Chapter nine: I don't know what
Talespinner69, a Realmcrafter of some note, once more stood in his theater room. He wove some ninja hand signs and got everyone in his usual audience, plus Kotaro, back. He then proceeded to send lights into the heads of everyone to get them caught up on everything.
"Yeah, things resolved themselves, so now we can resume the show," Tale explained to his now returned audience.
Raising a hand, Itsuka asked, "Is this the show where we see realms that have different versions of me and the other girls in the first year hero course, or the show where we see realms where Aizawa-sensei expels a different student from class 1-A?"
"The second one," Kotaro replied; Tale turned to look at the manager of a zombie idol group and gave him a look of mild confusion, but then gently shook his head. Tale remembered that Kotaro literally is the textbook definition of eccentric.
To the audience, Tale explained, "We still have twelve other realms to get through before we're done seeing how all certain choices Aizawa can make will come back to bite him in his rear."
Aizawa, as he gently face palmed due to dreading how badly he'll be shown screwing up in the remaining twelve realms, simply said, "...Just get on with it."
Nodding in understanding, Tale and Kotaro both turned to face the big theater screen and got it started up. It made some sounds like a coffee machine just being turned on and percolating as it was making coffee, but it soon started sounding like it was running smoothly.
"...Sorry, it needed to get warmed up a bit," Tale said sheepishly as the ninth realm finally started to play for the audience's viewing pleasure.
...
(If Aizawa expelled Yuga Aoyama)
"Oh my, it would appear that I'm next on the proverbial chopping block,, Aoyama in the audience remarked.
Snickering to himself, Dabi said, "Try not to get mistaken for a girl this time around, huh?" This drew an embarrassed blushing out of Aoyama.
Turning to give Dabi a wry look, Tale said, "...You know, I can always tell everyone here the truth about you if you'd like." Seeing Dabi's expression pale a bit upon recognizing the hint of knowing in his tone, Tale said, "Yeah. I know the truth. You want I should tell daddy dearest?" Seeing the blue flame villain go quiet, the Realmcrafter said, "Yeah, that's what I thought."
It was a normal enough day over at Japan's top heroics academy, UA high school. Over in the classroom for class 1-A, everyone in the class was gathered. ...Well, everyone thought that everyone had gathered until class vice-rep Yaoyorozu pointed out that Aoyama was nowhere to be seen in class.
"Maybe he's sick?" Shoji offered, shrugging as he did so.
Before anyone could offer anything else, the students were cut off when their teacher Aizawa came walking into the classroom. "Alright brats, let's take our seats," Aizawa greeted in a couldn't care less kind of tone. When he got to the front of the class and stood before all of his students, Aizawa said, "Any questions before we get started?"
Seeing a number of hands shoot up, Aizawa picked the first one that caught his eye, that being Shoji. "Sir, I think that Aoyama may be out sick today."
"Oh, one of you noticed that Aoyama isn't here," Aizawa remarked casually, "Yeah, I had to expel him." Hearing this made the remaining class 1-A students all gasp in shock.
Leaning forward in eager anticipation, Hizashi in the audience said, "And now for the moment of truth, seeing Sho's reason for booting his student!"
"...You're actually looking forward to seeing me screw up?" Aizawa asked as he turned to face his co-worker and friend.
Looking confused, Yaoyorozu asked, "Wait a minute there, Aizawa-sensei, why was Aoyama expelled? Did he mess up badly somehow?"
Sighing in a resigned tone, the underground hero proceeded to explain, "The reason that I had to expel Aoyama is because-"
Aizawa was cut off when Hizashi and Nemuri came barreling into the classroom, both of them wearing panicked looks of worry on their respective faces. "Yo Sho, we're in some super-deep shit right now!" Hizashi exclaimed.
Everyone in 1-A all turned to face Hizashi and Nemuri when Aizawa turned to see his co-workers. "The hell's going on now, you two?" Aizawa asked.
"Nezu will explain," Nemuri said as she gestured for Aizawa to follow her and Hizashi. Sighing, Aizawa told his students to wait in the classroom while he went with the other senseis to go see Nezu for the lowdown.
"Wait, so we don't learn what excuse I had for expelling Aoyama?" Aizawa in the audience asked, looking genuinely surprised.
Shrugging, Shinso offered, "Maybe it'll come up later in this realm, Aizawa-sensei."
...
Aizawa, Hizashi and Nemuri all got to Nezu's office, where Nezu himself and Sekijiro were already waiting. Sighing in a troubled tone, Nezu said, "Thank you all for coming on such short notice. UA is in the midst of facing its gravest challenge yet."
"What's the beef, boss?" Hizashi asked.
Looking at everyone standing before his desk, Nezu said, "...Showstopper is coming to UA."
While the men all looked confused as all get out, Nemuri gasped in frightened shock as she stumbled back a few steps. This prompted Aizawa, Sekijiro and Hizashi to all turn to face their female co-worker. "Is...is this Showstopper person that big of a deal, Nemuri?" Sekijiro asked as he regarded the eighteen only hero.
"I'm surprised that you don't know who Showstopper is," Nemuri replied, "He's a god in the fashion world. Trends come and go on his word alone! It would be safe to say that he's the most fabulous pro hero in Japan!"
"...I get the feeling that this Showstopper guy being a fashion icon has something to do with what will make the me in this realm regret expelling Aoyama," Aizawa in the audience said, "I mean, Aoyama is keen on that sort of stuff, right?" Aoyama nodded in the affirmative to his homeroom teacher.
Crossing his arms over his chest, Stain said with a scowl on his face, "...It sounds like this Showstopper guy is one of the lowest of the low. The kind of person that, fake hero or no, I'd take pleasure in killing."
"Like Re-Destro," Spinner said.
Gently shaking his head, Stain commented, "I don't know what this Re-Destro person is, but he sounds disappointing."
"Indeed," Nezu said, "But we're getting off subject. We're going to be under the scrutinizing eye of the fashion world when Showstopper comes to UA."
"Wait, why should we care?" Hizashi asked, "I mean, we're a hero school, not a fashion school. Who cares how fashionable we are or aren't when we're saving the lives of the innocent folks here in Japan?"
Turning to face Hizashi, Nezu said, "Enough people to put political pressure onto UA to force us to gussy up." Turning to face Aizawa, the quirked animal principal said, "Now here is where you come in, Aizawa. Your student Aoyama is rather keen on the fashion world himself, even enough to meet Showstopper's firm standards. I'm going to need Aoyama to-"
"Uhh, Nezu," Aizawa interrupted, "I expelled Aoyama, remember?"
Nezu stopped short in the middle of what he was saying, looked straight up at Aizawa with a somewhat wide-eyed look of shocked surprise on his face. After a few moments of silence had passed, Nezu said, "...I have doomed us all. Doomed us by giving you that authority back when you were hired here."
Folding his arms over his chest, Nezu in the audience said, "Indeed. I'm seeing a lot here that has made me question why I had given that authority to Aizawa in the first place."
"Yeah, that reminds me," Sekijiro said. Turning to face Aizawa, the blood hero asked, "Why did you expel Aoyama again?"
"It doesn't matter," Nemuri interrupted, "What does matter here is that Showstopper is on his way here to UA, and he'll call us so uncamp that enrollment rates will drop simply because he thinks we aren't to his specifications for being chic and manufique!"
Shrugging, Hizashi asked, "Again, why should we care about why that fashion business ought to matter to UA since we're a hero academy?"
"I never thought I'd say this, but Hizashi is being rational!" Aizawa in the audience exclaimed, drawing some barks of laughter from a lot of the people in the audience, Hizashi included.
Sekijiro, his arms folded over his chest, said, "And an interruption occurred before we were able to hear why Aizawa in this realm decided to expel Aoyama."
"At the very least, I hope it's a good reason that has no strings attached," Aizawa commented.
...
Later that day, Aizawa's nineteen students and Sekijiro's twenty students were all gathered in Gym Gamma, which was completely empty so as to give everyone as much space as possible. Standing before the thirty-nine first year hero course students were Aizawa, Sekijiro, Hizashi and Nemuri. The men stepped back and allowed Nemuri to step up to address the students.
"Alright everyone, here's the deal," began the eighteen only hero, "The pro hero known as Showstopper is on his way here to UA. When he gets here, he will scrutinize how fashionable our school is, so we need to gussy up as much as possible. Any questions?"
Nemuri saw a few hands go up, so she picked the first one that caught her eye, that being Setsuna's hand since she was using her quirk to detach the hand from the end of her arm to make it fly up into the air a bit. "Uhh, question about that, teach," Setsuna began when her hand came back down and reattached itself to the end of her arm, "Why the hell should we care what some fashion man says about UA? We're a heroics academy slash standard public high school, not a fashion college."
"Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with Tokage on this one, Nemuri-sensei," Izuku spoke up as he raised his hand, "In fact, I could write an entire essay on the history of incidents in the field of pro heroics that had sprung up solely because a pro hero tried to make their costume be fashionable over being practical."
In the audience, Izuku folded his arms over his chest as he said, "Actually, I could legit do that in real life. The history of hero costumes being flashy over practical leading to incidents is rather large."
"It is one of the issues that I have with fakes that dare to dishonestly bear the title of hero," Stain commented from where he sat, nodding in agreement with Izuku.
Mina, with an annoyed look on her face, said, "Well maybe there wouldn't be as much cause for alarm about this guy coming if somebody didn't kick the only fashion expert we had in class out of UA!"
Sighing in an annoyed tone as he rolled his eyes, Aizawa shot back, "I had to expel Aoyama after what Nemuri told me about what he did, alright?"
"So Nemuri-sensei also knows," Yaoyorozu remarked. Turning to face Nemuri, Yaoyorozu asked, "Hey Nemuri-sensei, what did Aoyama do for you to tell Aizawa-sensei that he ought to expel Aoyama?"
Waving a hand in a dismissive manner, Nemuri said, "We'll cover that when we get to it! But rest assured that it's a legitimate reason!"
"...I'm getting the feeling that Nemuri in this realm either did something bad and pinned the blame on Aoyama," Aizawa in the audience began in a suspicious tone, "Or that she made up a lie about something and used it to get me to expel Aoyama in order to cover something up."
Nemuri, where she sat in the audience, began sinking into her seat out of a mix of embarrassment and dreading worry. "...Hoo boy, I am not looking forward to what the reveal is going to be here..."
"Assuming that we do get a reveal," Hizashi commented, "Because we've been jerked around all this time thus far and got nothing. Who's to say we'll be getting an answer at this rate?"
The first year hero course students mostly rolled their eyes at Nemuri's dismissive attitude, but they all decided to roll with it for the time being and get on with getting ready for the arrival of Showstopper.
As things were under way, Mina and Setsuna saw Kinoko off to the side, flipping through an artist sketch pad. "Yo Kinoko," Setsuna began when she and Mina got up to the mushroom girl. Snatching the pad out of Kinoko's hands and eliciting a yelp of surprise from her in the process, Setsuna asked, "What are you-"
Setsuna and Mina stopped short when the two of them saw that Kinoko had drawn a rather stylishly dressed boy in a pose that had his hands against the back of his head as his elbows stuck out. "Wow, did you draw this?" Setsuna asked, legitimately sounding impressed, "The clothes this dude is wearing look damn good!"
"Yeah, I have to..." Mina began, but she stopped short when she noticed something about the scrutinizing sketch in Kinoko's sketch pad that she and Setsuna were looking at. "...That's Kirishima that you drew all well dressed and posing sexily."
Kinoko in the audience cried out in embarrassment as she shrank into her theater seat. As for some of the other folks in the audience, they reacted in various ways to the fact that Kinoko was shown having the hots for Kirishima.
"...Well Komori did go yandere in that realm where Aizawa-sensei expelled Kirishima," Mina said, "Maybe it's some manner of carry over?"
As the girls were looking at the other sketches in Kinoko's book, all of them depicting Kirishima, the first year hero course students were alerted by the senseis. Looking up, the students all saw Aizawa, Hizashi, Sekijiro and Nemuri come walking over to them. While Aizawa, Sekijiro and Nemuri were all dressed normally, Hizashi was most certainly not in an outfit that was general considered normal.
Hizashi was wearing a mostly black leather outfit that looked kind of scrappy and, from a distance, seemed to be made of a few torn up black trash bags. Hizashi had also done away with his shades for the time being, showing more clearly that he had bluish sparkly eye shadow around his eyes, and he was wearing some bluish silvery shade of lip stick.
Holding his arms out at length at his sides, Hizashi declared, "Behold, for I am now fabulosity itself!"
In the audience, Aizawa burst out laughing while holding one arm over his gut as he pointed at the big theater screen. "Holy crap, Hizashi looks ridiculous!"
"...I feel ridiculous," Hizashi said in a somewhat sad tone.
Seeing the look of confusion on the faces of the students, Aizawa rolled his eyes while pointing to Hizashi and explaining, "Apparently, that's his quote unquote fabulous outfit."
"I gotta look my best for when Showstopper gets here," Hizashi replied.
The students had no idea what to make of Hizashi's outfit. ...Well, Mina and Setsuna were both still distracted by the various sketches of Kirishima that Kinoko had drawn in her book.
...
Later, everyone was tense when a limo pulled up and Showstopper got out. He wore an elaborate high-collared coat that was sparkly deep pink and had purple boa fur trim. He also had on a swimming cap, wore thick gold hoop earrings, and he looked to have sparkly gold spray on tan. He walked as if he not only had all the confidence in the world, but he knew it that full well.
"Well now, shall we begin the evaluation of this school's fabulosity?" Showstopper asked in a rhetoric manner.
Gesturing to the big screen, Endeavor in the audience said, "UA's fate is in the hands of that fruit cake? What manner of farce is this?"
"As much as I hate the flaming dumpster fire of a man who just spoke up, I have to agree with him," Dabi said, "That guy on screen looks so dumb, I bet that me and all of the villains here would have to hold a lottery to determine who gets to kill him!"
"Could I buy into the lottery multiple times?" Toga asked.
As the folks of UA were nearly sweating bullets, they all heard a familiar voice laugh out loud in a sinister manner. Looking over, they all saw the villain Shigaraki. "You're at the top of that bastard Hero Killer's list of heroes to kill, Showstopper!" Shigaraki yelled, "That's why I'm going to kill you here and now today! Stealing Stain's kill is bound to piss him off!"
"Oh lordy, I'm gonna die!" Showstopper exclaimed out of fighter he held his hands up.
Shigaraki took out a throwing star and, with a surprising amount of skill, threw it right at the fabulous pro hero. But before the star could reach Showstopper, Hizashi leaped in to intercept the shinobi's traditional thrown weapon. Hizashi, as he seemingly gave off some manner of aura, then gave a wide-eyed stare as he looked at the star as it flew right at him.
The throwing star stopped in place a few inches from Hizashi's face, seemingly frozen midair. It then dropped harmlessly to the ground.
Pointing to the big theater screen, Shigaraki in the audience said, "Alright, even though I'm pissed that my attempt to kill that fruit cake was foiled, the way that Present Mic foiled it was pretty damn epic."
A few more villains also gave props to how Hizashi was shown saving Showstopper; Toga even gave it a standing ovation, saying, "He stopped it with his sheer sexy!"
"No!" Shigaraki exclaimed, "He stopped me from stealing Stain's kill! This cannot be! Now I can't get to-" Shigaraki was cut off when a meteor fell from space and landed on him, crushing his head and killing him before he could do anything.
"What the fuck?!" Shigaraki in the audience exclaimed, "I'm killed by a fucking meteor?!"
Sighing in a sympathetic tone, Mineta said, "I know your pain."
...
"Due to the incident with Shigaraki," Aizawa said to the students as he, Sekijiro, Hizashi and Nemuri all talked to the students, "Showstopper was unable to do his thing. However, he apparently gave UA a passing score anyway out of gratitude for Hizashi saving his life."
"Indeed," Hizashi, still in his outfit he wore when he saved Showstopper, commented.
Holding up a hand, Bakugo said in a mildly irritated tone, "Yes, fine, sure! Just tell us why you had Sparkles Fantastic kicked out of UA already!" All of the other students cried out in unison in a way that showed they all agreed with Bakugo.
Shrugging, Aizawa said, "Oh, that. Yeah, Nemuri told me that she saw Aoyama make a ten year old autistic girl cry because he belittled her sense of fashion over wearing an oversized baggy hoodie themed after said girl's favorite pro hero." With a hand on his hip, the underground hero said while holding up an index finger, "Bullying children like that for whatever reason at all will not be tolerated here at UA."
Hizashi, with a mildly surprised look on his face, turned to face Aizawa and said, "Wait, you mean to tell me that Nemuri pinned the blame for her ridiculing that autistic girl over her choice of wearing that oversized Fat Gum hoodie on Aoyama?" Aizawa, as well as everyone else who was present, all turned to look at Nemuri, who wore a blatant 'shit I just fucked up' look on her face.
FIN
In the audience, everyone turned to look at Nemuri, who shrank into her seat out of embarrassment over what her alternative realm self on screen had apparently done. "...I will break you," Aizawa in the audience said to Nemuri.
END OF CHAPTER
Author's notes;
Yeah, I didn't have much for Aoyama. Sorry about that. Hopefully the next one will help to compensate for it. Anyway, in case any of you missed them, chapters seven and eight can now be seen. I'm going to get working on chapter ten in the meanwhile, but first I need to get the okay to borrow an idea that I saw someone leave in a signed comment on this story.
