What happens when Percy gets back to school? How will everyone react?

Percy PoV

I was standing with the rest of the US swim team. I've never done this before, so I have no idea what it's like. I've heard that they just give announcements and medals.

They did that national anthem thing and all those parades. It was boring.

Finally, they were going to give out the medals.

The announcers spoke, "For the USA swim team. We have 29 medals gold medals."

He went on, "Ryan Murphy has 4 medals. David Patrick (AN: Is that a swimmer's name? Idk, I just thought of a random one) has 4 medals, Michael Phelps has 9 medals, and Percy Jackson has 13 medals while breaking 10 records!"

Everyone clapped and gave us our medals. Man, those 13 medals weigh a ton!

They gave out silver and bronze medals. I got 4 silver ones, but not any bronze. I liked my medals though.

They did a lot of announcing and commenting, and then the press came rushing in.

Even when monsters attacked, had I never been so scared as I was now. Uh-oh, I thought as around 30 reporters flocked to me.

They bombarded me with questions, while I just watched them argue with each other. Then they started yelling, so loud they were louder than Annabeth when she was mad.

"Guys, stop it. Otherwise, I won't take any interviews."

That got them quiet.

I pointed to the one that came first, "You, what was your question?"

She asked, "Mr. Jackson, do you have anyone to dedicate this Olympics to?"

I smiled and responded, "Annabeth Chase. My girlfriend."

"How long have you been dating?", she questioned.

I replied, "About...2 and a half years."

Out of the corner, I saw the glare of a swimmer on the women's swim team. Huh?, I wondered. What did I do wrong?

Then the next reporter came, and then the next reporter. This lasted the entire day as more and more reporters came.

After it was over, I trudged back to Jason, Leo, and Frank, exhausted.

I groaned, "I have never been this tired in my life before! Except, maybe you-know-where."

They nodded. Jason slapped my back, "Nice job man! You going to hand out one of those medals?"

I smiled weakly, "Sure."

I handed each of them a gold medal. Their eyes widened in surprise.

Frank choked, "One to each of us?"

I grinned, "I still got 10 gold ones left Zhang. Plue 4 silver ones. Calm down."

He looked a bit better, but still in shock. I slapped his back, "Drive us back, Zhang."

Frank drove us back while we were laughing about the stupid questions I was being asked.

When we got back, I collapsed on my bed and called Annabeth on my alpha-Phone.

"What up Wise Girl?", I asked.

"Seaweed Brain!", she screamed, and I had to cover my ears.

"Ears!", I complained.

"Oh right.", she replied.

"I dedicated my Olympics to you. Did you see it?", I asked.

"No Seaweed Brain, I didn't. OF COURSE, I SAW IT!", she yelled.

"How'd you like it then?", I asked.

"I loved it. Except for the fact that another female swimmer was staring at you.", she replied.

"You saw that too?", I asked, surprised.

"Uh-huh, I think she has a crush on you.", she responded.

I groaned, "Not another one!"

She agreed, "Yeah, and also, there's a new queen bee at school. Sarah got ousted when the YouTube video Leo posted went viral."

"And she's going to crush on me as well", I complained.

"Yeah, now good night Seaweed Brain. Love you", said Annabeth.

"Love you too Wise Girl.", I replied.

I hung up and went to sleep. The plane ride back home was tomorrow early in the morning. I would make it back in the middle of the second period. And with that, I fell asleep.

-Time Skip to almost at school-

I was about 3 minutes away from seeing Annabeth. I'll probably fall asleep in class because that flight was pretty early.

I was going to give a gold and silver medal to Annabeth during class today, Just had to keep a low profile until then. Who knows what the paparazzi might do.

I got into class along with Jason, Leo, and Frank. I think it was an Astrophysics class. Man, that one was soooo boring.

I got to class with three medals in my hand. Two gold and one silver.

Everyone stared in shock at me including the teacher. I walked over to him and squatted on the stool.

I spread my hands out, "Why are you guys looking at me like that. I still go to Goode High you know."

A girl spluttered out, "You literally got 17 medals from one Olympic game."

"Ok, well I have two medals to hand out to someone in the class", and I have two other for some teachers.

The Astrophysics teacher eyed my medals greedily.

I winked at Jason. My plan was to throw the two medals, and Jason would fly them onto Annabeth's neck.

He winked back, so the plan went into action.

I threw two medals in the air. One gold and one silver, and they landed on Annabeth's neck.

Everyone groaned, and then the teacher made a grab for my other medal. I noticed it right before he touched it. I somersaulted into my old seat, next to Annabeth.

"Mr. Jonas, just because you want a medal doesn't mean you have to steal mine! I could file attempted robbery on you.", I complained.

I put my own medal on and kissed Annabeth on the cheek. I whispered into her year, "I got it signed by everyone on the swim team."

She grinned at me while I put my arm over her.

The teacher was glaring daggers at me. "Hey Mr. Jonas, those medals are for Mr. Blofis, and the marine biology teacher, Ms. Kate.", I called out to him, "And next time, try to earn these things yourself rather than stealing it from others."

The class was boring, as usual.

While going to the next class, a girl came up to me. I think her name was Mary.

"Hey Perce. How about you dump that dumb blonde and date me instead?", she flirted. Then leaned in and whispered in my ear, "I can get you expelled if you don't."

She laughed and walked off, "Take time to consider that Perce!"

I glanced at Annabeth who looked like something weird happened.

"Well, let's find out how that bitch does that.", I sighed
