but then he heard a loud laugh.. which came out of rajat's mouth.. daya nd just looked at his face in a little anger... nd a little disbelief...
"hehee.. super.. hhehee.. supernatural.. ye.. kya bol rhe h aap..!?" rajat tried to mess up in between his laughs...
"dekhiye.. mr.. mai jaanta h ki aap cid vala log.. inn cheezo mei believe nahi rkhta... pr.. iss kitab mei toh likha h ki ye ring sirf VAM..." before could complete a familiar phone ringtone echoed...
"yes sir..!" daya picked his own phone..

"areee... yr... calm down kuch nahi hoga... unse bachke hi rhenge hum dono..!" abhi calmed him down while assuring alex..
"wese... kisi mission ki baat kr rhe the tum...? kb se start hoga?" alex changed the topic
"hm.. kuch teen-chaar din baad se.. sirf yehi nahi.. pehla mission h..,, and do aur officers join karenge..!"
"hm.. all the best..! meri naak katne mat dena...!" alex said teasingly while rubbing his nose with his first finger...
"tumhari naak.. (jumped on him) woh toh abhi hi todh deta h..!" abhi started beating him.. coz he always used to tease him like this... joking on his small experience...

"haan daya..! aur rajat..! tum dono ko ek mission k liye prepare rhne h.."
"mission?" both simultanouely
"haan... ek underworld mission k liye jaana h... kuch ajeeb sa case h voh..." acp said while rubbing his finger on his front forehead.. and wrinkling his forehead skin
"ajeeb matlb..?" both first looked at each other and then at acp sir.. and daya asked him this..
"are.. pata nhi badhe hi ajeeb tarah se murders ho rhe h.. voh vaha file rkhi h, dekh lo tum dono..!"
"YES SIR..! (picked the file and glanced at it) ye.. ye kya h sir? iss tarah se khoon..!" daya asked placing the file back on the table
"haan.. aur kuch pata bhi nhi chal rha h iske baare mei... isliye hq ne tum dono ko aur ek aur officer h.. use appoint kiya h... undercover to nhi h..,, lekin case solve ho jana chahiye..!"
"aap bilkul bhi chinta mat kijiye sir.. hum apko shikayat ka mauka nhi denge..!"
he was sitting on the couch silently, constantly looking at the gem and rotating it in his thumb and first two fingers...
"kya soch rhe ho yr..?" rajat said entering inside...
"huh?.. nahi kuch nahi.. bs ese hi..!" and he immediately hide the gem in his fist.. and tried to act normal
"ussi k baare mei soch rhe ho na?.. (a little laugh) kya yr... mazaak h ye sb..!" rajat said while getting settled on the other couch...
"maanta toh mai bhi nhi hu rajat, lekin iss baar ye cheej... pta nhi kyu..? pr dil keh rha h ki ek baar k liye ispr vishwaas kr lu.."
"daya..! isse kuch nahi.. (changed) achha chalo thik h..,, humne ye fantasy maan bhi li,, lekin usse kya ho jayega?.. na hi tumhe abhijeet milega aur ni hi abeer...!"
"jaanta hu mai yr rajat... kyuki abhijeet toh jis tarah se gayab hua tha uske baad use dhoondna mushqil ho gya... aur abeer.. (sadly smiled) usse toh mai bachpn se hi dhoond rha hu... mujhe koi yaad nhi h,,! bs yaad h toh abeer..!"
"hm... toh ab hum kya kr skte h? hain?" rajat sighed heavily while convincing daya as
"bhul jao yr.. usse, abeer ko... ateet mai kuch nhi rkha.. aur agar unhe tumhare aaj mei jeena hote na voh kabhi tumse duur hote hi nahi..! aur tum hi toh kehte ho na..! ki agar unhe tumse milna hoga toh tumse kabhi na kbhi, kahi na kahi mil hi jayenge...!"
"hmm.. shayad tum sahi keh rhe ho..! chalo! (stood up) mission ki tayaari bhi toh krnni h...!"
