Todoroki dreaded leaving Midoriya, especially with how hurt he still was because of Bakugou's anger problem. He could have never expected to be worried about someone else, let alone actually going out of his way to help him to the point that he had every urge to make sure he was in his sights and not near Bakugou. At first, he thought protecting him was merely just because he wants to be a hero, a hero that helps anyone who is clearly in danger of something. Midoriya is constantly getting bullied by Bakugou even when he doesn't do or say anything to him. But then...once he told him about how he was alone for most of his life and barely had anyone to be there for him, besides Bakugou - who was barely any help, it just snapped something inside him. It was almost instinct to be around him and help him no matter what it was, then...the kiss...it just felt so right. Todoroki gently touched his bottom lip, remembering the kiss he gave him before he left to head back to his house. His expression quickly changed into his same cold one once he realized he was in front of his door, he almost forgot why he had to leave Midoriya to head back the rest of the way back to his house. His father had messaged him about needing to rush back home and told him any excuse would just add to more training time. Letting out a sigh, he finally entered his home, announcing to his family that he just arrived while taking off his shoes and placed them to the side before walking in further down the hall and stopped when he saw Endeavour sitting on the couch, arms crossed in front of his chest.
"I told you to come home right after school ended." the man said in a rough voice before Todoroki scoffed and placed his school bag on the ground.
"I have to walk home from school, old man, I can't teleport. That's not my quirk," he replied back, clearly annoyed by him before he started to walk to the kitchen to get something to drink.
"Yet you have no problem taking your time walking with a boy and kissing him?" Endeavor suddenly asked, his voice sounding just as annoyed as him. Todoroki froze in his tracks, barely entering the kitchen as he heard his father stand up from the couch and get closer, seeing a phone appear in front of his face. On the screen, he saw a picture taken of him kissing Midoriya, just moments before he had to leave him to go back home the rest of the way himself.
"Are you stalking me now? Do I have no sense of privacy?" Todoroki asked, trying to hold back some anger in his voice while clenching his fists. Endeavor scoffed and pulled his phone away, seeing Todoroki turn to face him a bit - or more so, glare at him.
"Be glad I don't actually stalk you. I was around the area while on a mission and I managed to see this. THIS isn't what you should be focusing on at all. I'd understand a girl but a BOY? Even if it was a girl, you are forbidden to see this boy at all, ESPECIALLY romantically. Your only focus is training to be better than All Might and be the next number 1 hero." Endeavor said as if there was no rejection to what he was making him do.
"What?! Like hell I'm going to-" Todoroki yelled out before flinching a bit when Endeavour turned his body to him and quickly showed him the phone with the picture, but it zoomed more onto Midoriya.
"If I see you with this boy, especially doing something like THIS." he motioned to the phone with the kissing while his hand started to flame up along with the phone.
"I will PERSONALLY handle that problem for you," he growled out lowly while the phone screen broke from the heat of the flames and fell to the ground. Todoroki could only glare at him as he said this, clenching his fists tightly.
"I can't, I was told by Aizawa-sensei that I have to watch over him and take care of him since he got hurt by someone in our class," he growled out lowly.
"Then do nothing romantic with him and avoid him at all costs after he's recovered, which I know won't be long since he's supposed to be training to be a hero anyway. If you don't then I'm not so sure how long he will last being in that school." Endeavor said in a dark tone before turning again and walked away before he could respond back to him. Todoroki stayed silent as he watched him walk away before his legs suddenly gave out and let himself sit roughly on the floor. His eyes widen in fear and worry about thinking of what his father would try to do to him. His heart was beating so fast, it was the only thing he could hear before his gaze slowly went to the floor.
"I'm sorry...Midoriya…"
