Blaze again: The new queen of her tribe? Part 1.

The mailman has just arrived and put the mail in the mailbox. It was Blazes turn to get the mail so she got the mail and went inside. She saw that one of the envelopes was purple and her name on it. She opened it up and the letter said;

"Blaze; we sent you this letter to inform you that that our queen, Shadrack has passed away. You are next in line to rule as queen for the Habib tribe; we are counting on you to come to Desert Trap Valley and take the crown.

P.S: it is against your tradition to marry somebody out of our tribe. We will put a temporary pentagram in public on your forehead as a symbol of shame"

Blaze couldn't believe it. She was going to be queen of her own tribe. Sure, she would have a temporary pentagram on her forehead, but still, queen. Amazing; and she couldn't wait to see her family once again. (She hasn't seen them for almost 10 years.) She decided to walk there because she used to walk to school with her mom; she also decided to bring Silver (her husband) along as well.

When she got to Desert Trap Valley, the first thing she noticed was the king carrying a wooden box. "Who knows what could be in there, snake skins" she thought (It was a tradition for royalty to wear snake skins for special occasions) when Blaze got to the king she knelled in front of him and lowered her head. Silver just stared.

The king told her "You can get up and explore desert trap before you become our new queen tomorrow. I'll show you what's in the box tomorrow." And she explored desert trap once again. First, she went to go visit her parents, (and were they glad to see her) they welcomed her and told her "Hope you're ready for tomorrow, it's going to be a big day." And Silver; well, her family wouldn't go near him or even look at him; Except Blaze's dad. He thought that Silver looked interesting, like nothing he had seen before; He just stared at Silver awkwardly.

Meanwhile, Blaze is talking to her mom, Anushka, and Anushka told her "Shame on you for marrying somebody from the city." Blaze responded "But mother, we've already been married for 5 years now." Anushka responded "Yes; I know, but still, you need to carry on the family tradition, you're the only female I ever made and I can't make any others." Blaze got so furious that she couldn't stop herself the truth "I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR F#%*#%& "TRADITION"." Blaze exclaimed as quiet as possible. Anushka paused and stood there; speechless.

While Silver and Blaze's dad were talking, they heard Blaze's voice and thought something went terribly wrong. They went to see what was happening and saw Anushka standing as still as a statue. "यहां क्या चल रहा है?" (You translate yourself) Blaze's dad yelled. Blaze was speaking Hindi (her first language) to her dad and said "मैं क्या मैं हबीब परंपरा के बारे में सोच के बारे में सच मां से कहा. I hope she's ok." Her dad replied. "आप अपनी मां को जानते हैं, वह बुरी खबर से नफरत करता है."

Silver was confused; he didn't know what they were saying "What are you trying to hide from me?" he asked suspiciously. Blaze responded "Oh my father doesn't speak English, so I have to speak in Hindi." Silver just nodded okay. Blaze went to her mother and shook her while saying. "बाहर आओ और मुझे बुराई राक्षस से लड़ने।. मैं जानता हूं कि तुम वहां में हो." But nothing happened.

Then suddenly, Anushka started moving again "Huh, what happened?" Blaze Responded "You scared me. I thought you were dead." They just laughed. Anushka looked at the clock; it was Worship time for Baal. Blazes parents told her to come with them; but Blaze refused. "I don't believe in your wooden "god"." She replied. So they left without her.

Silver and Blaze were alone; they looked out the window to see the people bowing down to the giant wooden idol. "This is sad. I can't believe I was doing this when I was a kid." Blaze thought. Silver couldn't stop looking at them. He never thought people would give gifts to a piece of wood.

After the worship hour was finished, Blaze's parents came back, and it was 8:00 P.M, and they were all tired from the bowing and exercises they did for the giant wooden sculpture. Anushka said to Blaze "*Yawn* I pretty tired. I think you should get some sleep for your big day tomorrow." Blaze agreed and they fell asleep on the floor.
