Vah Ruta roars as Me and Mipha are raised up in the air from the trunk, I look off the side of the trunk, that is a really far drop. I try to see further and- WOAH, I start to slip and try to regain my balance, there isn't much room on the trunk and hear.
"Lynk!" I hear Mipha yell my name before I slip off the trunk, DIN. I manage to grab the edge of the trunk as it's still rising, I look at the arms that are holding on and see blood, I must have reopened a wound, that is going to hurt later. I look down and see a giant drop, I should have been more careful, if I fell I might pass out and drown, never to see the solid ground again, I have to hold on. I try to get my other hand on the raising trunk but it slips off due to the water residue. Of course by Dins name today is the day that it rains.
"Grab my hand, Lynk!" I hear Mipha yell and I use my free hand to grab it, I try not to swing my feet too much as we both pull. I managed to get one leg up and that's when I knew I was good, I used the rest of my strength to pull up my other leg, once I got up I sit down on the place where Vah Ruta's water comes out.
"Are you ok?" Mipha asks me as she sits next to me. I show her my bloodied arm and she gasps.
"Did you reopen a wound?" I nod as she puts her hand near my arm and starts emitting a blue aura.
"You need to be more careful, you could have gotten hurt if you fell." She starts to lecture me but I look at her healing my arm. It's amazing what Mipha can do with her powers. I tune back in to hear her say.
"You know, I was thinking, this reminds me of when we first met," I remember that day clearly, it was before mother died and father became obsessed with me becoming a knight and trained me ruthlessly, sometimes I think I'm a bad person for being happy he died.
"You were just a reckless child, always getting yourself hurt at every turn." I can't lie and say I wasn't reckless, I would go to a pile of leaves and somehow come out with a thousand scratches.
"Every time, I would heal you, just as I'm doing right now" It has been a while since Mipha healed me, I haven't seen her for a while, since I became a knight.
"It's funny how, being a Hylian, you looked grown-up so much faster than I did." It seems like those height genes just disappeared then since I'm the same height as you Mipha and a little shorter than Zelda.
"I was, I was always willing to heal your wounds, even back then," Mipha says, I look at my arm, to see that almost done healing my arm from my little 'fall', then the wound just disappears like nothing ever happened, amazing.
"So if this Calamity Ganon does, in fact, return. What can we really do?" I roll my sleeve back up and look at Mipha, what can we really do though. Besides, wait for Zelda to unlock her power
"We just don't seem to know much about what we'll be up against.' Can agree on that one, all that we know is that the sword on my back and Zelda's divine powers will help %100.
"But know this: that no matter how difficult the battle might get, if you - if anyone tries to do you harm, then I will heal you." Mipha is really sweet.
"No matter when, or how bad the wound, I hope you know, that I will always protect you." I stare at Mipha for a second before smiling to myself.
"Once this whole thing is over, maybe things can go back to how they used to be when we were young." I doubt my life will ever be like it was when I was young, I just hope everyone else's lives will be better, that's the reason I drew the Master Sword.
"You know, perhaps we can spend some time together." Mipha stared into my eyes when she said that true friendship is to be able to reconnect no matter how long ago you disconnected. I look down before saying.
"I would love to, Mipha." Mipha seems surprised for a second before smiling and saying.
"Then let's be prepared for what to come." Then Vah Ruta's trunk starts to lower under us, Zelda must be done. I hope everything will happen out how planned, but something is telling me it won't be the case.
