"Y'all are stupid!" Umber said to them.
"Now now, Umber… let me handle this." Dedede said, patting him on the head with a chuckle before turning to the group and cleared his throat. "WHAT IN SAM HILL IS WRONG WITH Y'ALL?!" He yelled. "DON'T YOU KNOW THAT IF SOME IMPORTANT ITEM BREAKS, IT AIN'T A GOOD IDEA TO REBUILD IT?! IT MIGHT HOLD AN ANCIENT EVIL FOR SAKURAI'S SAKE! IT ALREADY HAPPENED TWICE WITH US! FIRST IT WAS KIRBY BEATING THE SNOT OUT OF ME AT FOUNTAIN OF DREAMS AND THEN RELEASING NIGHTMARE INTO THE WORLD AFTER HE PUT THE STAR ROD BACK AND THE SECOND TIME WAS WHEN THE SQUEAKS STOLE KIRBY'S STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE AND THEN RELEASED DARK NEBULA IN THE WORLD SOMETIME LATER!"
"Technically that was my doing." Daroach pointed out.
"Yeah! But Kirby had a hand in it after beatin' the crap out of Meta Knight and leaving the chest exposed!"
"Fair point."
"Poyo…" Kirby rubbed his head.
"So, again! What were y'all THINKING?!" Dedede continued. "You nearly got the Mushroom Kingdom destroyed and dragged us into your mess after we destroyed Void Termina! We got sucked up in a UFO and had to fight a whole army of Shroobs, including a general!"
Ruby looked at Bowser, who was looking quite intimidated by Dedede. "Bowser, why are you intimidated?"
"Kid, you weren't there during the Subspace Incident!" Bowser shuddered. "Trust me… it's not a good idea to fight Dedede when he's completely annoyed…"
"You're darn tootin', ya shouldn't!" Dedede said and then took a deep breath. "Alright… that's all I have to say on the matter."

"Well then… now that you got that out of your system." Esdeath walked over to the mushroom. "Time to destroy this thing once and for all." She said, covering it in ice and then snapping her fingers to shatter the mushroom… but suddenly, dark purple smoke surrounded the group before forming into the spirit of Elder Princess Shroob.
BGM: Boss Prelude (Kirby's Return to Dreamland)
"FOOOOOOOOOLS!" Elder Princess Shroob roared.
"Oh, you gotta be KIDDING me!" Weiss groaned.
"I may be dead, but I can still fight! I'll just need to possess someone and then you are all doomed! You hear me?! DOOOOOOOMED!" She roared.
"Yeah yeah, we know… we're doomed." Luigi rolled his eyes and started sucking up her spirit in his Poltergust.

"Wh-what?! What are you doing?! No! NOOOO!" She yelled as she was getting sucked in from the Poltergust. "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" She was then sucked into the Poltergust. "Mmmph! Mmmmph!"
"Had just about enough of your nonsense for one day." Luigi said.
"Well, that settles that." Bowser chuckled and patted Luigi on the shoulder. "Good job, green 'stache." He said.
"Aww… I wanted to see what would happen if she possessed someone. Would have made good research!" Jade Gadd said, earning a bop on the head from Iris. "Ooof!"
"Jade, no."
"I was only joking…"
"By the way, who's this lady?" Dedede asked, referring to Esdeath.
"Oh, she is General Esdeath of the Atlas Military." Winter said.
"Es…Death…?" Taranza blinked. "Uuuuh…"
"Okay, does anyone else have warning sirens blaring in their head?" Marisa spoke up. "Something about having "Death" in their name runs a chill through my spine…"
"Yup, I hear 'em too." Reimu said.
"Whatever do you mean?" Esdeath smiled sweetly. "There's nothing wrong with me." She said, causing a majority of them to sweatdrop.
"Riiiiight…" Daisy said as Baby Bowser walked over to the Mushrooms that were once Kamek and General Guy.
"They… they sacrificed themselves to save me…" He whispered to himself and teared up. "Guys… come back… please! I never got the chance to say thank you!" He said, as tears ran down his cheeks and started crying as the tears dropped on the mushrooms, which suddenly the mushrooms began to glow as Kamek and General Guy were brought back.
"Ooogh… my head…" Kamek groaned.
"What happened?" General Guy asked as they then looked around and saw everyone's shocked faced. "Oh hello everyone! …Why are we in a gigantic crater?" He wondered as the two were suddenly hugged by Baby Bowser. "Oh!"
"Thank you… thank you so much for saving me! Both of you!" He said.
"You're welcome." Kamek said as the two hugged them back.
"Baby tears bringing them back… huh…" Jade Gadd wondered and then had an idea. "Wait! That gives me an idea!"
"Let's all head back to the castle… and while we do so, we can introduce ourselves!" Peach said as they walked off, but Reimu stopped as she looked at the castle.
"Hmm? Reimu, what's up?" Marisa asked.
"Something about this castle is… strangely familiar." She said.
"Eh? What are you talking about?"
"I don't know… but it feels like I've been here before." She mused before shrugging it off. "Eh, probably dreamt about it once." She said and walked in.
"Never had that dream before." Marisa said and looked up. "Doesn't look familiar at all." She added and walked after Reimu.
Sometime later…
BGM: Peach's Castle (Fortune Street)
"Just turn this on…" E. Gadd said, pushing the button as the Hydrogush roared to life once more and started gushing into the Time Holes. "Thank goodness the Hydrogush has the same chemical makeup as baby tears, but to think the Shroobs are done in by baby tears of all things." He chuckled as a few Toads aimed at the mushrooms and Deoxys as the water started spraying, but it started flailing all over the place as the Toads went for a wild ride.
"WAAAAAAAAH!" They all yelled, but were held in place with Arceus.
"Phew… thanks." A Toad smiled.
"You're welcome." Arceus said as the water hit the mushrooms and Deoxys, where a Toad turned the faucet to make the hose stop squirting water as Toadiko, Toadbert and Kylie Koopa were brought back to normal.
"Hup! I'm back to normal, by boogity!" Toadbert exclaimed.
"Whew, good to be back!" Toadiko grinned.
"KYLIE!" Scoop Swoop glomped Kylie. "Oh, it's so good to see you again!"
"It's good to see you too!" Kylie smiled. "…Uh… Swoop?"
"Yes?"
"Why are you covered in lipstick?"
"Aheheh… well… I think it comes with the territory of saving the world." He said, pointing over to two Succubats who were giggling.
"Ohohoho~!" Kylie nudged him. "You ladies man, you!" She teased, causing Scoop Swoop to blush.
"Aheheheh… well, uh… ya know…"
It was then that Deoxys opened his eyes, fully back to normal as it stood up and looked around in confusion. "It is good to have you back, Deoxys." Arceus said as Deoxys slowly nodded before flying up back to space.
"I have to say, I like your hair." Yang said.
"Aww, thanks!" Marisa smiled. "You two look pretty good yourselves!"
"Aw, thanks Marisa!" Leone smiled.
"Welp, I'm gonna take a good look around the castle. Feel free to stop by Gensokyo! We'll show ya around!" She said and walked off, only to accidentally bump into Kamek.
"Ooof!"
"Oh, my bad." Marisa said as they stared directly at each other.
"You ever thought about getting a hat? Your look screams "witch"."
"I actually do… it's just that I was… forced out of bed before taking it with me."
"Ah, I see. I can sense great magic power from you. You a magician?"
"Dang straight!" Marisa grinned. "I'm the badass magician of Gensokyo! Though I just call myself a witch."
"Well, if you call yourself a "badass", then I'm sure you got some pretty strong magic up your sleeves… but, perhaps we can expand your repertoire a bit!"
"Oh?"
"Imagine having the ability to heal others, or to cast fire, lightning, ice and other such magic."
Marisa's eyes sparkled. "Oooooh! Really? That's a good idea!"
"Heheh, I thought you might like that." Kamek chuckled.
"Hey grandpa!" Jade Gadd walked over to him.
"Hmm? Oh hello Jade. What can I do for you?" He asked.
"I have a surprise for you!" Jade smiled, side stepping to the left to reveal Amelia.
"A-AMELIA?!" E. Gadd exclaimed in shock.
"Hello honey. It's been too long." Amelia smiled.
"I… I assumed the worse that you were…"
"No, I wasn't dead. I went to Dreamland for research and then the next thing I know, I hop onto a Warp Star and it takes me all the way to another planet with no chance of ever coming back."
"Oh… well, that would put a damper on things."
"It would." Amelia nodded and then hugged him. "It's so good to see you again."
"It's good to see you too." E. Gadd smiled and hugged her back.
"…So… Elvin… what's this I hear about you building a time machine?"
"Eeep!" E. Gadd paled and parted from the hug. "I… uh…. Well…"
"You went through with it, didn't you? Despite my protests!"
"Now now, honey… let's not get too hasty here…"
"Not too hasty?! After what you did?! That was reckless of you, you could've been on the wrong end of Dialga's wrath and wouldn't you know it, he's already here!"
"Uh…" He started sweating nervously. "Well…"
"Elvin…"
"Aheheheh… why don't we discuss this over a nice cup of tea?" He suggested as he felt a glare from his wife. "I'll take that as a no." He said and then took off running.
"Honey, you get back here right now!" She said, running after him while Jade started laughing.
"Oh, I missed this." She giggled while Rotom flew around Golurk happily.
"Roto! Roto!"
"Lurk!" Golurk said, gently petting Rotom on the head.

Sometime later, after Amelia calmed down…
"Well then, we must be off back to our own timeline." Young Toadsworth said. "It has been an honor to be with you."
"Miss you!" Baby Peach said, hugging her adult self as Peach patted her on the head.
"Go have fun and be an awesome princess, alright?" Peach smiled with a smile.
"It's been great working with you, Minerva." Young Minerva said.
"Indeed." Minerva nodded, the two of them shaking hands while the White Wings hugged their younger selves, as the Baby Bros hugged their adult selves as did Baby Daisy as the Sonics gave each other a bro hug.
"See ya around, big guy! Say hi to Tails for me!" He said as Classic Sonic nodded, giving him a thumbs up.
"This is where we part ways." Young Samus turned her back on her adult self. "Farewell."
"Wait, Samus." Samus spoke up as she turned around, only to get hugged by her adult self.
"Mmmph!"
"Take care." She smiled as Pikachu and Pichu hugged her as well while the Metroid nuzzled against her.
"Mmm… you… you too." She said, hesitantly hugging her adult self before parting.
"Welp, we'll see you guys later!" Kylie waved as Celebi opened up a portal.
"Wait!" Ruby spoke up. "Scoop Swoop!"
"Yes?"
"Do you mind if we… take a group photo?"
"Oh! Of course!" He grinned. "We may never meet again, but we'll definitely have the memories." He said as Ruby handed him the scroll as everyone gathered around for a photo, even the Star Allies got involved as did Arceus and Dialga. "Alright… how do you work this thing?" Scoop Swoop wondered as he fiddled around with it until he found what he was looking for. "Okay, touch screens are gonna take a while to get used to! Can't believe this is the future…" He mumbled. "Alright, got it on a timer!" He said as he put it on a tripod and then flew over to the group, landing on Kylie's head. "Smile~!" He said as everyone smiled for the camera.

"Oh goodness! I didn't think there'd be a flash!" Scoop Swoop said.
"My eyes…" Blake groaned as Scoop Swoop flew over, nearly bumping the tripod as he gave the scroll back to Ruby.
"Thank you." Ruby said with a smile, then forwarded it to her friends.
"Bi bi!" Celebi said to the others.
"Wight!" Baby Mario nodded.
"Togipriiii!" Young Parfait waved to Togekiss as one by one, they went through the time portal, saying farewell to the others as they went inside.
"Hey, little dude!" Bowser said to Baby Bowser before he went inside.
"Hmm?" Baby Bowser turned to him.
"Stay awesome!"
Baby Bowser chuckled and then pointed back at Bowser. "Right back at ya, big dude!" He said and then went inside the portal.
"Bi bi!" Celebi waved and then flew off.
"It is time we leave as well. Farewell, everyone." Arceus said as he went off as Dialga did the same thing, but not before destroying the time machine with a Roar of Time before taking off.
"All those resources for nothing…" E. Gadd sighed.
"It's for the best." Amelia said.
"Soooo um… Mr. Pink Meta Knight?" Ruby spoke up, turning to Galacta Knight.
"Please, call me Galacta Knight."
"Um… okay… Galacta Knight… where's Penny?"
A wave of awkwardness hit the Star Allies as they looked at each other awkwardly. "Well… that's… you're just gonna have to come with us." Meta Knight said.
Later, at the Halberd…
BGM: Roxas (Kingdom Hearts II)
Galacta Knight was shoved into a wall. "Oooof!"
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO PENNY?!" Ruby screamed, tears in her eyes and holding Galacta Knight to the wall. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!"
"She was specifically built for combat and you destroyed her?!" Ironwood yelled, his hand immediately on his gun.
"Break it up!" Susie got between them as Galacta Knight fell to the ground.
"Manhandled by another teenager… truly, this is not your day." Marx teased, earning an elbow from Magolor. "Ooof!"
"Penny is… a robot…?!" Yang said as they looked at Penny on the operating table.
"Oh my goodness…" Weiss whispered.
"I knew there was something off about her, but I never thought she was a robot… oh my gosh…" Nora whispered.
"If I may interject…" Hyness said. "It all started when I summoned him to keep the Allies at bay when I was summoning Void Termina. I called upon the Greatest Star Warrior in the galaxy… I don't remember much after that. I was long gone."
"We fought him and it was a hard battle. Xena's sword shattered as she fought Galacta Knight, and Penny stepped in to save her, but he quickly overwhelmed her and impaled her." Meta Knight explained. "Do not blame Galacta Knight. He was under mind control."
Ruby looked away, closing her eyes as tears rolled down her cheeks. "Penny…"
"Hey, she's still alive. We're working hard to keep her that way." Susie said. "The problem is… the wiring is all busted."
"I do know a guy who can fix her up. His name is Pietro." Ironwood said. "He was the one who built her."
"Send him here. I do not think Penny will survive the trip."
"I agree." Ironwood pulled out his scroll.
"Ah ah ah! Let me." Esdeath said, conjuring up an icy phoenix. "I'll be sure to bring Pietro here." She said and then flew off.
Yang put her hand on Ruby's shoulder. "It's gonna be okay. They'll save her."
Ruby sniffed a little. "Yeah…" She said, hugging her sister as they looked at Penny who was comatose in the other room.

A few hours later, in Toad Town…
BGM: Toad Town (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story)
"Alright, we rounded up every last Shroob in Toad Town." Captain Toad said to Mario. "They suddenly dropped their weapons the moment that ugly Shroob was defeated… but there are fifty Shroobs in total!"
"I see." Mario mused.
"Please! Don't kill us!" A Shroob begged.
"Yeah, we were just following orders from our boss! Now that she's dead, we don't have anyone to listen to… we don't have a ruler!" Another said.
"They mind controlled us!"
"Well, Mario… what's your verdict?" Captain Toad asked.
Mario closed his eyes. "My verdict… is to spare you." He said. "You do not deserve extinction."
"Oh thank goodness!" A Shroob sighed with relief.
"Mind if we stay here? All our UFOs have been destroyed!"
"I'm sure we could arrange that." Mario said. "As long as you promise not to do anything malicious."
"We promise!" All the Shroobs said with a salute.
"Oh wow, I guess they're gonna prosper here." Captain Toad said.
"Yup. I'm gonna have to discuss this with Peach." He said and then walked off.

Meanwhile, at Peach's Castle…
Peach was sitting down at the table, drinking tea with Sienna, Kali and Ghira. Blake, Leone and Sun were also with them, drinking tea with them as well. "I have to say Peach… all the stuff I've heard about you are true. You are fair as they say." Sienna said.
"Mhm!" Peach smiled.
"Now then, let's talk about this peace treaty you have in mind." Sienna said.
"Ah yes, I had just wrote it up after talking with Ghira." Peach said, pulling out a document and handing it over to Sienna for her to read.
This peace treaty has been made for the purpose of uniting the White Fang and the humans. Contention between the two will come to an end between the Faunus and the humans. There will be peace amongst the White Fang and the humans. No need for violence. Discrimination will not be tolerated with the faunus. The faunus are more than welcome to build homes here in the Mushroom Kingdom and not be so crowded at Menagerie.
Signed - Princess Peach Toadstool
Sienna let out a chuckle, pulling the treaty down as tears rolled down her eyes. "It's beautiful." She said, taking out a pen. "It's a start, but it'll work." She signed her name as the two stood up and shook hands.
"I'll have this be laminated and let the whole kingdom know!" Peach smiled.
"Sienna!" A voice said as they turned to see Ilia approaching them with Snake behind her. "…Oh! Hello, you must be the princess."
"Hello there!" Peach smiled.
"What is it, Ilia? You look like you have to tell me something urgently."
"We do." Ilia nodded as Snake had the Metal Gear Mk. II walk over. "We have the footage." She said as Snake pressed the play button, and everyone had their mouths open in shock while Sienna's shock slowly turned into rage.
"That good for nothing…!" Sienna snarled and stormed out.
"Sienna, wait a minute!" Peach ran after her, but not before pulling out her phone to call someone.
"This can't be good." Blake said as she went off.
"Wait up!" Sun said, but was stopped by Ghira's hand touching her shoulder. "Huh?"
"Mr. Wukong, mind if I have a word?"
"Uh… sure…" Sun paled a bit.
"I will admit, I've acted too rashly with you over what happened with you and Blake. I hate to admit it… but… you make Blake happy and…" He let out a small gulp, seeming to swallow his pride. "You two are perfect for each other. Take good care of her."
Sun grinned. "Thank you! I will, Mr. B… or should I say… Ghira?"
"Don't press your luck. I still do not like you." Ghira said and then walked off.
"Uh… noted!"
"Don't mind him. Deep down, he likes you." Kali winked and walked off.
"Phew…"
"Well, that went well!" Leone giggled and then headed off with Sun.
At Mushroom Fields…
Adam walked on the grass, seeing Toad Town in front of him. "There it is." He smirked and then spotted Sienna and the others approaching him. "Ah, if it isn't Sienna."
BGM: Villains of a Sort (Kingdom Hearts)
"Cut the crap, Adam!" Sienna ordered. "I know that you went out of your way to say those awful things."
"What do you mean?"
"I've heard it all… you were planning to kill me and make it look like an accident!"
Adam sneered. "So… you've seen the footage that the traitor took?"
"Ilia is no traitor. You are!" Sienna said.
"It is not my fault that you have gotten soft. The humans should serve us. WE should walk all over them just like they did with us. You are not worthy of the title High Leader!" He said.
"Well, guess what? I just signed a peace treaty with Princess Peach. As of today, the White Fang is going back to their roots."
"You WHAT?!" Adam yelled and then glared at Peach. "You signed a treaty with that human bimbo?!" He said and then spotted Blake. "Ah… hello there Blake. You going to run away from me again like the coward you are?"
"I'm no coward. Cowards kill one another. I am not like you." Blake said, standing her ground.
"Tch… I see."
"Adam, you have gone too far." Sienna said. "As of today, you are hereby expelled from the White Fang, along with your followers!"
"What… you are going to expel me after what I did to the White Fang? Of all the things I contributed, you're going to ignore all of that?! Of all the things I did for you… this is how you repay me?!"
"Blake is right. Cowards assassinate others. Cowards will do anything in their power, even if it means enslaving!" Sienna said. "This is goodbye, Adam! You are dismissed!"

"You… you good for nothing…" Adam trembled with rage as he unsheathed his sword.
BGM: Face It! (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories)
"YOU WILL REGRET THAT!" He yelled, getting in his stance.
"Adam! What are you doing?!" Blake yelled.
"Going to make sure things are set right… and if you don't see it my way, then you are all traitors!" He yelled as he lunged directly at the group. "HAAAAAAAAH!"

"Mmph!" Adam was knocked back and landed on his butt. "Who dares?!"
"Now what seems to be the ruckus here?" A voice asked as they saw a hand floating from the ground… Master Hand.
"A floating hand?!" Ilia said.
"Peach called me, saying it was urgent that I come over." Master Hand explained. "It is a good thing I did, because I just witnessed a man nearly killing three of my Smashers! What is the meaning of this?" He demanded as it was explained to him. "…I see."
"Get out of my way, you miserable hand! I will not let you get in my way!" Adam lunged ahead toward Master Hand, but he slapped him down. "Mmmph!"
"This tiny little thing?" Master Hand picked up Adam's sword. "Truly… you could do better than a toothpick." He said, crushing it with his fingers and shattering it, then he picked him up. "Farewell!" He said and then threw Adam across the Mushroom Kingdom.
"Whoa… impressive." Sienna said.
"Now then…" Master Hand turned to Sienna. "I have no doubt in my mind that Adam will come back to assassinate you." He explained.
"I don't doubt it either."
"So, here's what I suggest. Why don't I take you to the Smash Mansion where you will be fully protected from harm. It could be your new home."
Sienna looked at him in surprise. "A-are you sure?"
"Positive! It's either you stay out and risk being killed, or you can be well protected in the mansion."
Sienna closed her eyes and then chuckled. "Very well, I accept your invitation."
"Terrific! Let's get you situated." Master Hand said and turned to Ilia. "Young Ilia, let's get you to the mansion as well."
"Wha- me?!" Ilia said in surprise.
"Yes, you!" Master Hand said as he picked her up.
"Wah!" She yelped as she was placed on top of the back of his… er… hand. Sienna hopped on board as well as Master Hand flew off to the Mansion.
"Well, I guess we'll be seeing them more often." Blake chuckled as she walked off.
With Adam…
Adam slammed into the ground in a forest, groaning to himself. "Ugh…" He groaned
"Adam! Are you okay?" A White Fang member asked. "What happened?"
"I just found out that Sienna expelled all of us from the White Fang… and then I got manhandled by a damn hand! Do I LOOK okay to you?!"
"What?! What are we gonna do now?"
"It's simple… we start our own faction with me as high leader." Adam said. "As of now, we are the Crimson Fang!"
"Yes sir, high leader!" The White Fang-now Crimson Fang troops saluted and bowed.
"First, I'm going to need a new weapon. Second of all, we need to raise our ranks."
"How are we going to do that?"
Adam turned his head, seeing a Slime bounce around nearby. "I have an idea." He said as he walked over to the Slime as it looked over to Adam in curiosity. "We will raise our ranks with these monsters. Starting with this one." He said with malice in his voice as the Slime looked at Adam with fear, shaking in terror as Adam reached down for it.
With the Schnees…
"YOU WHAT?!" Weiss and Winter yelled at the same time.
"That is correct. I wish to have a home here in Toad Town. Atlas is too painful to go back to… so we are building a home here." Willow said. "As a family."
"It was her idea the moment you left." Klein said.
"Mother… are you drunk again?" Weiss asked.
"No. I've sworn off alcohol the moment you saved me from your doppelganger. I think it is high time for me to stop." She said. "How can I be a good mother if I'm constantly an alcoholic? It is time to change."
Winter softly smiled and then turned to Whitley who was back to his old self. "And you are okay with this?"
"Yes." Whitley nodded. "It's time we became a family again. Father tore us apart… but no longer."
Weiss smiled. "That's great!" She said as the family hugged each other tightly. "I love you guys…"
"We love you too, Weiss." Willow smiled, kissing her kids on the cheek.
With Dante…
Dante walked along the Mushroom Fields, humming to himself when he heard a honking sound nearby. "Hmm?" He turned around and saw a van quickly approaching him and then it swerved before coming to a complete stop, inches from Dante's face… and he didn't even budge.
"Dante!" A voice called out from the van.
"Ah, Nero. Good to see ya." Dante said as Nero got out of the passenger seat. "How's my favorite knuckleheaded nephew doing?"
"Looking for you." Nero responded. "In fact, all of us were."
"Oh?"
"Sup!" A voice waved from the driver's seat.
"Hey Nico."
"These two ladies were looking for you too." He said as two women stepped out of the vehicle.
"Ah! Lady! Trish!" Dante greeted as the woman walked up to him… and then slapped him on the cheek. "Mmph!"
"That was for disappearing on us!" Trish said.
"Heh, good to see you too." He said. "So, found yourselves a portal and got yourself into this world?"
"Pretty much." Lady said.
"Well, so did I… and Vergil's here somewhere. Last I saw him, he was taking care of some monsters but who know where he's at. Don't worry, he's his usual ol' grumpy self."
Nero rolled his eyes. "Figures."
"So! Since the whole gang is here, how about we set up a new Devil May Cry somewhere? There's plenty of monsters here to kill, and trust me, there's plenty of 'em."
"Ooooh! Yes!" Lady grinned.
"Where do you have in mind?" Trish asked.
"Oh, I have a few ideas…" Dante chuckled as he walked inside the van. "Let's go see what this place has to offer!"
"Hell yeah! I'll drive us around until we find somethin' good!" Nico said as Nero hopped in and then drove off.
With Luigi…
Luigi walked over to the Portificationizer with a whistle, inserting his Poltergust into the machine and injected Elder Princess Shroob as it started doing the process. "MMMMPH! MMMMPH!" Elder Princess Shroob yelled as she was ejected out of the machine, only to get pounded, and then electrified, and then crushed inside the machine… until a gold portrait of a sad Elder Princess Shroob popped out.
"So that's how it's done." Marnie said. "Neat!"
"Heheheh." Luigi chuckled as he walked through the gallery with Marnie and Neo followed him as he opened a door and placed Elder Princess Shroob next to King Boo's portrait. "There, now you have a roommate!" He grinned.
"Cool!" Neo signed.
"Soooo… ice cream then?" Marnie asked.
"Yeah!" Luigi nodded as the three of them took off.
At the Smash Mansion…
"Whooooooa!" Ilia said in awe. "This is incredible!"
"It sure is." Sienna said. "I think I'll like it here." She said as she went off to take a look around.
"Hey Ilia!" Blake walked over to her as she turned around. "There's someone I'd like you to meet." She said and motioned to her friend next to her.
"Hello! You must be Ilia. I'm Mercedes!"
"O-oh! Hello there…" Ilia said. "Blake… can we talk?" She asked, reaching for her and pulling her away from Mercedes.
"Wah!" Blake yelped.
"You never told me how hot she is!" She whispered. "She's drop dead gorgeous!"
"I've talked with her before and I couldn't help but admire how pretty she is." Blake said. "Reconciling with you made me think that you two would be a good couple."
"A-are you sure?"
"Positive."
"O-okay." Ilia nodded and looked to Mercedes. "H-hi…" She greeted with a shy blush as Blake pushed her forward a bit.
Mercedes smiled sweetly. "Hello!" She said and then took Ilia's hand. "Come on, I'll show you around the monastery and have you meet Annette!" She said.
Oh gosh, she's holding my hand! Ilia thought as steam came out of her ears. This is happening all so fast! "O-okay!" Ilia nodded as Mercedes happily walked back to her world with Ilia behind her. Ilia looked behind her as Blake gave her a reassuring thumbs up and a wink.
"She'll be good for her." Blake chuckled.
With Jaune and Pyrrha…
"Pyrrha… um… there's something I want to ask you." He said, nervously tugging at his collar and blushing a bit.
"Yes?"
"Um… I was wondering if… if you would like to… hang out together… alone?"
Pyrrha blushed a deep red. Oh goodness! She thought. "S-sure! What do you have in mind?"
"We could uh… watch a movie or… have dinner or… uh… goodness, I'm bad at this…"
Pyrrha giggled a bit. "How's about we just walk around the park later tonight and do some stargazing?"
"O-oh, sure… I'd like that."
Pyrrha smiled. "It's a date then!"
"…W-wait a minute! I should've been asking that!"
"I just thought I'd give you a little push." Pyrrha smiled, winking at him and then suddenly leaned closer to his ear. "By the way, I'm glad you listened to Luigi and not Roman and Kamek."
"Huh?!" Jaune looked at her in surprise as Pyrrha kissed him on the cheek.
"Let me know when you're ready to go tonight!" Pyrrha smiled and walked off.
"…Wow…" Jaune whispered as he turned around and fist pumped while breathing a sigh of relief. "Nailed it! …Kinda…" He said as he walked off while Nora watched this all unfold.
"Well, it's ABOUT time!"
Meanwhile, with Ozpin…
"Ozpin, someone is here to see you."
"Send 'em in." Ozpin requested… and then Mewtwo teleported in. "Oh, it's you."
"Yes, it's me. I've heard what happened at Dreamland. Meta Knight told me everything." He said, aiming his hand at Ozpin. "Do you remember what I said last time."
"Yes, and I deeply regret what I have done with Xena. However, I suggest we talk it out instead of you attempting to kill me."
"Why? Dark Xena is getting more and more powerful to where she can disguise herself! Xena is running out of time."
"Yes, but I have a solution. Instead of finding a good place to relax and to help her be calm… we should actually help her confront her issue. Make her confront her fears."
Mewtwo put his hand down. "I'm listening."
Ozpin chuckled. "Good, I knew you would listen to reason." He said. "I realized that after our meeting that I was in the wrong and you had a point. I had unintentionally worsened Xena's predicament when I thought she was well enough to go out into the world. But I was wrong. So I came up with a solution… what if Xena confronted her dark self personally? It would be the best course of action."
"It would, but I'm not entirely positive that it will work. Dark Xena is getting stronger and stronger."
"Well, so is she." Ozpin pointed out. "If we have the two confront each other, then I'm pretty sure this whole ordeal will be over… and no one will have to die."
"Hmm…" Mewtwo folded his arms and closed his eyes. "There are a group of idiots who tend to hang out with the Phantom Thieves. They call themselves the Investigation Team and they too have Personas. When I questioned how they got them, they saw they confronted their dark selves."
"Fascinating…" Ozpin mused.
"And the Phantom Thieves have the power to get into Mementos, so this idea of yours is entirely possible." Mewtwo said. "However, I am still not sure if Xena is strong enough."
"Maybe if you stopped being cynical, you'd understand that Xena is a strong capable woman."
"You may have a point." Mewtwo said. "Still, you may be on to something… Ozma."
BGM: Scent of Silence (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories)
Ozpin let out a gasp and stood up. "When did you-"
"During our last meeting, I looked into your memories and saw your past."
"So… that means you saw Salem."
"I have."
"And you know that she cannot be killed, correct?"
"By you. That is what Jinn referred to. She never said that the rest of us can kill her. You can't kill her… but the rest of us can. And for the record, defeat does not always mean death. Even if she can't be killed, we can knock her down a few pegs if we beat her intelligently. Did you not realize that?"
Ozpin let out a sigh. "I will admit… it hadn't crossed my mind."
"Of course you haven't. Not that I blame you considering anyone would fall into despair after hearing such an answer. Still, Salem can be defeated."
"Even if we could, there's still the Gods we have to worry about."
"Those Gods are nothing but trouble." Mewtwo said. "We are all doomed if everyone isn't united? Forgive my language, but that is incredibly Tauros shit. I think the Gods need to be knocked down a few pegs as well. Not with weapons, but with words. They need to realize that they are in the wrong. No one can truly be united. It is impossible."
"Indeed, but… if something isn't done, then all of us will be wiped out."
"We have other gods. The Hands, Arceus, and Palutena. I know without a doubt that they can be reasoned with by other gods."
"And what if they can't be persuaded?"
"We have Shulk, Ike, and Bayonetta. They're God Slayers. I'm pretty sure they can persuade them if all else fails."
"I imagine so." Ozpin nodded. "Mind if I make a request? Can you keep that a secret between us?"
"I have kept thousands of secrets. One more wouldn't hurt." He said. "By the way… where's Xena?"

Somewhere at Mushroom Hills…
"Oh Xena…" Ruby hugged her tightly. "You poor thing!"
"I'm okay, Ruby… but thanks." Xena said and hugged Ruby. "It's just gonna be more difficult to keep her at bay, but… I'll manage. Definitely going to need more therapy though."
"Yeah, we'll get through this together." Ruby said.
"Yeah!" Xena smiled.
"Oh hey, you two are already here." A voice said as they turned to see Byleth approaching them with Dorothea next to her.
"Oh hey Byleth!" Ruby smiled. "Who's this?"
"Oh, didn't I introduce you to her?" Byleth wondered as Dorothea shook her head. "Oh, well, Ruby, Xena, this is Dorothea."
"Nice to meet you!" Dorothea smiled.
"Good friend of yours?" Ruby asked as Xena looked down and saw the two holding hands.
"Ooooooh, more than good friends~!" Xena giggled.
"It's funny…" Dorothea giggled. "The first time I laid eyes on Byleth, she was just my new teacher in Black Eagles, but then one day as she was teaching me how to control fire, she suddenly invited me out for tea, then we hung out more and next thing we knew… we started to fall in love."
"Whoa whoa WHOA! Time out! Teacher/Student pairing? Is that even legal?" Ruby asked.
"Would it help that I'm 19?" Dorothea winked. "Perfectly fine."
Ruby sweatdropped. "I guess… does anyone else know about this?"
"Well… we do try to keep it a secret but uh… I think everyone knows." Byleth shrugged it off. "Oh well, everyone's fine with it."
"I blame Sylvain…" Dorothea shrugged. "Oh well."
"Well… alright… time to train." Ruby said as she pulled out scythe and started swinging it while Xena watched on as did Byleth and Dorothea.
"Sooooo, have you two kissed yet?" Xena said.
"As a matter of fact, we have." Dorothea said and then wrapped her arms around Byleth. "Want proof?" She winked as Byleth smiled sweetly at her and then the two shared a kiss, closing their eyes as they did so as Xena let out a giggle.
"Yup, I ship it." Xena chuckled as Ruby turned her head and saw it.
"Aww…" Ruby smiled and then spotted something near the trees. "Hmm?"
"Hmm?" Byleth parted from Dorothea. "What is it?"
Ruby looked over at the trees. "Hey little guy! Come on over here, we won't bite!" She called out to it as the creature emerged from the trees and curiously walked over to it. Ruby knelt down and extended her hand to it. "What's your name, little guy?"
"Kub Kub? Kubfu!"
"Aww, Kubfu? Such a cute name!" Ruby smiled as she went to pat it on the head as it shyly took a step back. "Huh? Oh no no no, I won't hurt you." She smiled as the Kufbu cautiously reached its hand out to Ruby, seeming to examine it.
"Kub!" The Kubfu smiled.
"Aww, such a cutie!" Dorothea squealed. "I want one!"
Kubfu went over to examine the others out of curiosity while Ruby went back to training… until she was suddenly shot in the shoulder. "AAAAGH!" Ruby yelped, alerting the other three.
"What happened?" Xena asked.
"Why hello there, bitch. It's been too long since we've met."
Ruby's eyes widened when she heard the voice. "Oh no…" She whimpered as they turned to see Dark Ruby approaching her.
"Is this her?" Byleth asked as Ruby nodded. "I thought so."
"Aw, look at that cute face… you're whimpering. It's music to my ears."
Ruby gripped her scythe. "No… I'm going to stop you… right here and now!"
"Oh, you think so?" Dark Ruby readied her own scythe. "Well then… let's see if you've gotten stronger!"
"You got this!" Byleth told her.
Ruby took a deep breath. "You're right… I do got this." She said and got in her stance.
BGM: Miracle (RWBY)
The Alpha Bitch - Dark Ruby
Ruby and Dark Ruby lunged at each other, slashing at each other and colliding their blades against each other as they jumped back as Ruby turned her scythe into a gun and shot her repeatedly but Dark Ruby deflected this with her scythe, making sure the bullets hit Ruby, which it did as she let out a wince. Dark Ruby lunged at her and slashed at her repeatedly, as Ruby blocked these attacks as she tried to kick her but Dark Ruby hardly felt it as she quickly sweep kicked Ruby to knock her to the ground. She then jumped up in the air to try and stab her, but Ruby summoned her Rose Palm and blasted Dark Ruby away.
Ruby got back up and switched to her Crescent Boomerang and threw it at her but Dark Ruby avoided the attack. "Oh, a new toy? Cute!" Dark Ruby grabbed a hold of it as she disappeared in front of her eyes, and then cut Ruby in the gut with the sharp blade and then kicked her back.
"Wait… did she just… teleport?!" Dorothea asked in shock.
Come on, Ruby! Byleth thought as Ruby growled and then slashed at Dark Ruby with her scythe but she gracefully avoided it as her eyes flashed and stopped time, then she appeared behind Ruby and stabbed her in the back with the boomerang while time resumed.
"AGH!" Ruby cried as she turned around and countered with a slash with her scythe as she tried to disarm her dark self to get her, but Dark Ruby had disappeared in front of her and then she reappeared from the side and slashed her away, then she slashed her up in the air as Dark Ruby jumped up and slashed her down to the ground, and while in midair, she aimed her scythe at her and shot her in the gut and shoulders, making Ruby cry out in pain as Dark Ruby then slammed into her gut and then kicked her away.
"Come on! Is that the best you can do? Face it, you're nothing but a pathetic wimp! You'll never surpass me!" Dark Ruby taunted.
Byleth let out a deep throaty growl. "She's worse than I thought…" She said.
"What do we do?" Dorothea asked.
Byleth pulled out the Sword of the Creator. "We help her!" She said as she ran over as Dorothea ran off to join her as Xena pulled out the Fire hat and then put it on her head, then she ran over to join the trio while Kubfu only watched.
Dark Ruby raised her scythe up in the air while towering over Ruby, but suddenly the Sword of the Creator hit her and knocked her away. She turned around and glared at Byleth, Dorothea and Xena ready to fight. "You have the replicas that Sothis gave you?" Dorothea asked.
"Yes." Byleth nodded as she ran over and slashed at Dark Ruby but she disappeared and reappeared behind Byleth with a smirk, but then was hit in the back with a Thoron from Dorothea and then hit her with an Arcfire that knocked her back. Byleth ran over to Dark Ruby and pulled out a replica Areadbhar, quickly lunging at her with it but she jumped up and stood on top of it as she aimed her scythe directly at her face, but fire hit her in the side that knocked her off.
"I got your back!" Xena said, jumping up and then throwing a massive fireball at her but Dark Ruby quickly cut through it and then jumped over and slashed her down to send her crashing to the ground. She then flashed her eyes as time stopped, then she quickly cut through Xena, Byleth and Dorothea and then she resumed time, making the three cry out in pain as they fell on the ground.
"Don't interfere!" She said, kicking Byleth's hand to kick the Sword of the Creator out of her hand, then she walked over and kicked Ruby in the gut, and then proceeded to shoot her in the gut a few more times just for good measure.
"A-agh…" Ruby groaned as pained tears rolled down her cheek and then was kicked away.
"Kub! Kub kub!" Kubfu ran over and got between her and Dark Ruby. "Kubfu Kub!"
"Out of my way, ya teddy bear!" She said, punting Kubfu to a tree.
"No!" Ruby said and then a foot slammed into her gut. "NNNGH!"
"Time for you to die… bitch." She smirked and aimed her blade at her chest and raised her scythe up in the air… when suddenly a fireball hit her in the side. "Mmmph!" She grunted and turned to her attack. "Who dares?!" She yelled, only to get a massive kick to the gut by a Cinderace. "MMMPH!" She grunted, hitting a tree.
End BGM
"Race!"
"Nice one, lad!" A voice said as Gloria walked over. "Now what the fok do you think you're doing?!" She yelled at Dark Ruby.
"Gloria… be careful… that's her dark self! She's… she's much stronger than she looks." Byleth said.
"So this is the lass who's been troubling Ruby? Of all the nerve…" Gloria glared and aimed her Pokeball at Cinderace. "Cinderace, return!" She ordered as she then called out her Zacian. "Alright, ye mess with one of me friends, ya mess with me!" Gloria said.
"Hahahahaha! You think you have what it takes to beat me?! Cute!" Dark Ruby smirked. "You're nothing but one Scottish gal! I can take you!" She said and then rushed at Gloria who readied herself with her pipe.
"Look out!" Xena yelled as Dark Ruby swung down at Gloria but she blocked with her metal pipe and then knee'd her in the gut and then Zacian slashed at her.
"Heh… you think you'll do it alone with your mutt?"
"Oh no, I happened to bring a friend along to show her around the Mushroom Kingdom and I just so happened to see this whole thing unfold." Gloria said.
"HA! We'll see about that!" Dark Ruby said, disappearing from her eyes and then reappearing behind Gloria. "DIE!" She yelled, when suddenly she was grabbed from behind. "Wha?!"
"MAAACHAAAAMP!" Suddenly, a Machamp suplexed her to the ground.
"OOOOF!" Dark Ruby grunted as she got back up, only to get a flying knee kick from a girl shortly after. "Nnngh!"
"There she is now!" Gloria smiled. "Bitch, meet Bea. Bea, meet the bitch."
Bea got in a fighting stance. "Hello there." She said.
"Rrrgh… you think you can hit me with those pot shots? See about THIS!" Dark Ruby yelled, swinging her scythe down at Bea.
BGM: Battle! Gym Leader (Pokemon Sword & Shield)
Bea clapped her hands, catching the blade easily and then yanking the scythe away from her and then delivered a hard right hook to her cheek, then an uppercut to her gut and then followed it up with a flip kick that knocked her up in the air. "Machamp!" Bea said as Machamp jumped up in the air and swung his arms down on her to send her crashing to the ground.
Dark Ruby got back up as she rushed at Bea and attempted to punch her, but she blocked it with her hand and delivered a nasty punch to her gut and then a roundhouse kick to the face shortly after to knock her to the ground. "Oooogh…" Dark Ruby groaned.
"Clearly, I can see your weakness already. You crumple the minute you get into hand to hand combat." Bea said.
"Shut up!" Dark Ruby grunted as she rushed at Bea and punched her, but she weaved her head and then kicked her in the knee to make it buckle. "Nnngh!"
"Machamp… take out the trash." Bea said as Machamp then picked her up and then threw her across the Mushroom Kingdom, and then threw her scythe in the general direction as well.

"Too easy." Bea said, dusting her hands off and high fiving her Machamp.
Gloria turned to Ruby after all was said and done and then knelt down, seeing that she was bleeding everywhere from her wounds. "Shite… this is bad…" Gloria said and then grabbed Ruby's scroll and called up her team. "Hey! Get your arses over to Peach's Castle pronto! Your team leader got severely beaten up by her bitchy dark self!" She said as she turned to Peach's Castle. "Let's just hope she has an infirmary." She said as Bea picked up Ruby.
"Let's go." Bea said as they rushed to Peach's Castle with everyone, including Kubfu, to the castle. It was then that they met up with WBY and they were horrified to see Ruby in such a state.
A few minutes later, at the castle infirmary…
"Goodness me, this is awful!" Peach said as she and Mario quickly took care of the wounds as they were also checking on Xena, Byleth and Dorothea's wounds. They weren't nearly as bad as Ruby's.
"Damn that good for nothing…!" Yang punched a wall in frustration.
"I… I had no idea Dark Ruby was this bad…" Byleth said.
"It's not your fault, don't beat yourself up." Blake said. "Dark Ruby is in a league of her own, it's understandable that you didn't know what was going on with her."
"Yeah…" Byleth nodded. "Mmm… how is she?"
"She's stable, but she's completely exhausted. We'll have to keep her in here overnight." Mario explained.
"That's too bad…" Weiss said.
"You guys are welcome to stay overnight. I won't mind at all." Peach said as they nodded as Peach, Mario and Parfait went out the door as everyone looked at Ruby.
"Ruby… I am so sorry…" Byleth whispered.
"It's… it's okay…" Ruby quietly said.
"Shhh, save your strength." Yang said. "Just rest."
"Okay…" Ruby nodded as one by one, they started to walk out the door as Byleth was the last one out, looking at Ruby with a hint of guilt in her eyes.
I nearly had her killed… Byleth thought as she walked off, finding a couch to sit on and put her hands on her face in frustration. Dorothea sat down next to her and gently rubbed her back while hugging her.
Later that night…
Ruby hardly slept through the night, getting nightmares from Dark Ruby. "No… no…!" She quietly said.
"You're weak! You'll never surpass me! You'll always be weak!" Dark Ruby taunted her in her dreams. "You aren't strong!"
"Nnngh… agh…!" Ruby teared up, shivering in fright. She suddenly shot up awake and panted, wiping the sweat off her forehead.
"Kub?" A voice nearly startled her as she turned her head to see Kubfu climbing up on the bed in concern. "Kub Kub…"
"Sorry Kubfu… I didn't mean to worry you…" She said as she laid back down, tears running down her cheeks. Kubfu immediately laid down and wrapped his arm around her, gently nuzzling against her as Ruby wrapped her arm around Kubfu as well, seeming to calm down… but Dark Ruby still plagued her mind.
Early the next morning…
Ruby woke up, seeing that it was about 6:20 in the morning. Dark Ruby kept plaguing her mind. "What… what if I'm not strong enough…" She whispered and then thought of Bea who was easily able to take down Dark Ruby easily. She clenched her fists… she knew what she had to do. She slowly got out of bed, wincing from the pain her wounds gave her, but not as painful as it was earlier.
"Kub?" Kubfu wondered as he rose from his slumber.
"…You want to come with? I need some air."
"Kub!" Kubfu nodded, hopping on Ruby's shoulder as they snuck outside where they found a tent nearby as Bea was outside doing some stretches and shadow boxing while Gloria was out cooking breakfast with a yawn. Bea turned her head to see Ruby approaching her.
"Oh, Ruby! You're up early." Bea said. "…Wait, are you sure you should be out here?"
"Yes… I need to ask something."
"What is it?"
"I… I want to go to Galar with you. I feel like I need to get stronger…"
Gloria immediately snapped out of her sleepiness when Ruby mentioned Galar. "You wanna go to Galar? Alright then, lass!"
"Wait, hold on a second! Are you sure you want to fight in your conditions?"
"Yes!"
"Mmm… I dunno…" Bea said, seeing a look in Ruby's eyes before sighing. "Alright… we'll take you to Galar."
"Just let me finish this and we'll be good!" Gloria said, making some delicious omelettes and hashbrowns as they ate breakfast before taking off to Galar.
Later in the morning…
"Oh Ruuuby~!" Peach said in a sing songy voice. "It might not be the ideal breakfast, but I made some soup for you!" She said and then opened the curtains. "Hey, wake-" She let out a gasp, dropping the soup as the bowl shattered on the ground. "RUBY!" She shrieked, which was enough to catch WBY's attention as Xena, Byleth and Dorothea had gone back home.
"What's up?" Yang asked.
"Ruby's gone!" Peach said.
"WHAT?!" Weiss yelled. "Please tell me she went somewhere like the bathroom!"
"I don't think so… look!" Blake said, pointing to the front doors as it was opened up a crack. "Was that open earlier?"
"Oh no…" Yang said, fearing the worst as she ran down the door, seeing that Ruby was nowhere to be found. "RUBY! WHERE ARE YOU?!" She screamed.
At Galar…
"Hah… hah…" Ruby panted, her scythe tightly gripped in her hands as she was facing a Dynamaxed Pokemon in front of her in a Den.
"ZEROOOOOOAR!"
"I'll get stronger… and I'm going to do whatever it takes!" Ruby said to the Dynamaxed Zeraora in front of her. She then leapt up in the air and let out a loud scream, swinging her scythe down before fading to black.

Oh man oh man, I had so much fun writing this story and I hope you guys enjoyed this! Partners in Time was my very first Mario & Luigi game so it holds a special place in my heart. It's so much fun!

Ya know, it's funny... as Partners in Time was being written (Like the first chapter or so.) we were discussing what to do with Ruby's new look after we finished up Weiss'. One of my friends suggested "Oh, why not we give her a gi like from Isle of Armor?" and as my friends discussed Ruby's new look, gears were turning in my head and I went "...Ya know, why don't we just make an Isle of Armor story? It'd make sense!" and it just snowballed from there.
So yeah, next up is Isle of Armor!
And for those asking me about Galaxy because, ya know, 3D All-Stars... I will say this: "Good things come to those who wait."
