Braska looked at me, his eyes going wide. Auron looked surprised, and Jecht chuckled and congratulated Braska.
"Now comes the fun, eh Braska?" Jecht asked. Braska was in shock, I guess, because he didn't answer.
"I guess this will be a experience, do you not think so Roselyn?" Braska asked me. I nodded and got sick again.
It took two months to get a boat to Kilika Island. But we waited patiently. My morning sickness was gone by the time we got on the boat, so that was good. The downside was that I was starting to show.
Getting to Kilika was peaceful enough, and after 2 days we were there. The town was pretty with huts everywhere. There were people everywhere, laughing and playing. Ten years from now everything would be destroyed, and smiles wiped from their faces. But for now, it was a happy scene.
I led Braska towards the forest, and of course the other two followed. Getting there was easy and soon we were in the dark foilage of Kilika Woods.
"Roselyn, if you know the way. Lead on." Auron spoke. So I headed toward the bridge. After the bridge, I turned to the right. The fiends were easier here, so we had no trouble at all.
After following the path for a while, the stone steps loomed. We climbed the steps and made our way to the temple proper.
The temple was beautiful. It seemed like we were expected, since the priests were out waiting on us. The clicks of our shoes against the marble floor echoed as we approached them.
" We had heard you had arrived, Lord Braska and guardians. The Cloister of Trials is ready if you would like to enter immediately." The head priest explained, gesturing toward the doors to the temple proper.
The inside of the temple was simple and held statues of High Summoners. Then there was the stairs leading to the Trials. Braska looked at me, and I nodded. It was time to brave the Trials.
