Kris and Haru were working on their tasks while the drama club members lit up the statue.

"Wow. That's beautiful." Kris said as they looked at the statue.

"Yea, they did a great job on that." Soon the drama club members were leaving as Kris and Haru were becoming the only ones.

"Hey girly!" Haru looks to see a carnivore, "You're a student from Cherryton school right? The drama club members are leaving! You should leave too since it's dangerous outside!" Kris rolled his eyes as Haru did the same, "You might get unlucky enough to get eaten alive if you're not careful!"

"Why don't you worry about yourself and go with the other drama club people?" Kris defended.

"Hey, I'm just saying."

"Well, you can take your "just saying" and shove it back in that big mouth of yours before it gets shoved back in there by somebody else. No one asked you." The carnivore put his hands up and backed away.

"You didn't have to do that," Haru said.

"I know, but it's just annoying."

"Yea." Haru then looks around, "Huh, seems like it really is just us. Guess we really should get going."

"Yea. It'll be good going back to the herbivore dorms." Haru was a bit confused but remembered "the truth", which reminded her of whether or not she wanted to ask about that. When they were about to walk off…

"Oh, Legosi," Kris said. Haru turned to see Legosi looking at them, "What brings you here? Everyone else is gone. We were just about to leave as well."

"Oh, right." Legosi muttered a bit, "Well let's go to school together." Kris and Haru looked at each other.

"Uh sure," Kris said.

"But why?" Asked Haru.

"Well...because it's dangerous outside." Kris raised an eyebrow at that thinking whether Legosi was joking or not.

They made their way to the subway right when the doors closed and it left.

"Well, there it goes..." Kris said as he and Haru sighed.

"Sorry," Legosi said as if he did something wrong. They then sat on the chairs near the brick wall in complete silence with Legosi looking around trying not to stare at Kris or Haru, Haru just looking forward, and Kris looking downward. It became one of those usual awkward silences as if they were trying to read each other's thoughts until Kris spoke up.

"Y'know, sometimes I think back to when we first encountered each other." Legosi and Haru looked at him. Legosi was a bit fidgety when he heard that.

"You mean back at the Gardening Club?" Haru said. Kris didn't speak for a bit and then nodded.

"Yea. You remember, Legosi?"

"Uh, yeah. Yea I do." Legosi said, trying to keep calm.

"Did you and Legosi ever meet before we did?" Haru asked.

"Yea. Back at the memorial. We didn't really talk much until I joined the Drama club. Hehe, I was kind of a zombie back then." Haru chuckled along with Kris as Legosi followed, though a bit awkwardly.

"Hey so, about what you said before, Kris." Haru began, "I've been hearing about it a lot and I wanted to ask you...is it really true?" Kris raised an eyebrow but then knew what she was talking about and he nods, "It must be good. Being treated like a carnivore for so long and now people know who you really are. Though I can imagine how hard it may get. Especially when you have a feeling like you're always in danger."

Kris soon felt a bit uncomfortable from that as his body started to burn up a bit.

"Could get eaten by a carnivore while being unloved." Haru continued.

Kris felt cramped between Legosi and Haru. Legosi, meanwhile, was still fidgety, especially after hearing Haru say that. The memory of that night with Legosi almost attacking Haru, Kris preventing him, and ending up getting attacked, all came back to Kris and Legosi. Kris's heart was a bass drum in his chest as his hands were shaking a bit. He soon felt like all eyes were watching him now. Since he's an herbivore, he's practically prey to all the carnivores, and from what he heard from Gouhin, who knows who'll snap and go after him. He shot up and walked away from them and as soon as the train came by, coming to a halt, he quickly made his way to it until he felt Haru grab his hand.

"Kris, wait, I'm sorry." She said, pulling him.

"Haru, please…"

"Just wait Kris, I just wanna talk for a bit more."

Legosi watched, feeling more awkward about the situation as looked around to see some people were watching.

"Please just let go of my hand, Haru. I don't wanna talk right now."

"But we really need to talk about this. I really want to know more from my friend!"

"We can talk later…" Kris tried to step towards the train.

"I want to know now!" Haru gave a big tug making herself fall as Kris, who was thrown off by Haru's big pull, tripped and fell but caught himself. He then looked to see he was towering over Haru. They looked at each other as Kris noticed his hands were covering hers.

"Hey, is there a problem?" An animal spoke up.

"No, no sir," Kris said, getting up.

"Hey, you!" Kris then turned around to see the Conductor, "What do you think you're doing?!"

"It's nothing, sir." Legosi spoke up, "It was just an argument is all." Haru then gets up tugging on Kris again.

"Come on! We need to leave!"

"What?"

"Just trust me." Soon Haru and Kris ran off as Legosi soon followed.

"Someone call the police!" Was heard throughout as they kept running. Kris was trying his best not to fall considering he was bigger than Haru, so her pulling him into running was a bit troublesome.

"Why are we running?" Legosi asked, "We'll be even more suspicious!"

"Are you stupid? These days if a carnivore is seen aggressive towards a herbivore, even by simply towering over them, they could get arrested!" Kris's eyes widened. He soon heard more footsteps chase after them and had to do something, though he knew it would be stupid. He grabbed Haru, carried her, and ran as fast as his legs could carry him.

"Hey, wait up!" Legosi said as he kept running. They ran and quickly turned a corner heading into a bathroom. Kris opened a stall and sat Haru on the toilet.

"You guys hide here." Legosi got on top of the toilet as Kris ran out.

"Wait, what about-" Legosi tried to say.

"Just stay put!" Kris said as he ran out of the bathroom and continued running. He could hear the footsteps coming after him but didn't stop despite how sore his legs were getting. Soon he felt something shock him as he tripped and fell to the ground. He soon felt the hands of a cop grab his arms and put them behind his back.

"I must admit you're pretty fast, kid." Kris had no struggle in him as he looked at the cop who was an albino wolf.

"What's your name, kid?"

"Kris…" Kris said. The albino wolf forced Kris up, putting him against a wall looking closely at him. Kris braced for whatever was coming until he heard sniffing and looked to see the wolf was smelling him. Kris had a confused look as the wolf's eyes widened.

"Your scent…" The wolf said.

"Wh-what about it?"

"You're a hybrid aren't you?" Kris's eyes widened. He determined that from sniffing him.

"Uh, yea."

"Sir, we have yet to find the other two." Was heard on the wolf's speaker mic.

"I got the fox. I'll get him to tell us where they are. Alright kid, start talking."
