Chapter 19 : Taking The Notice Of The Evil Dragonlord
It's been four days since the two elites of Senryuu-dou manage to escape with their lives at the hands of Ayumi. Though it was more like Ayumi forces them to retreat.
Hyuuzaki Koda was just moving to the main quarters where their big boss is residing.
Hyuuzaki Koda is one of the four close aides of their big boss. He was also aware of the Other Side, just like every close aides of the leader of Senryuu-dou.
He was walking through a traditional looking Japanese mansion. Inside it's walls, it easily have twenty structures inside it. With twelve of it being used as a residence.
He was currently walking on the hallway of the largest house in this residence. It easily reaches up to five floors.
Due to this being a modern world, this traditional looking mansion already undergoes many changes. One of it having an elevator. Still, it still retains the traditional atmosphere inside of it.
Koda stops in his steps as he got to the largest door that leads to the room of their Big Boss. This is located at the fifth floor of the largest house of this residence.
"Oyabun, this is Koda. May I come in?"
He heard a grunt on the other side of the door. He took that as an affirmative as he slowly opens the door.
From there he can see a large room with a large traditional bed in the middle of it and many traditional painting, japanese lamps, and ornamental furnitures dotting the whole room.
Sitting on the bed is his Oyabun, the one known as the Thousand Year Dragonlord, Senryuu Jin.
If someone wants to describe him in simple words, he looks like a teenage punk. Complete with the dyed hair and the opened up gakuran. There is also a tattoo running through his right arm. He also have a sharp look with a grin on his face that shows his sharp pointy teeth.
But his appearance doesn't display his true identity.
In reality, he was a dragon who has lived for thousands of years. Specifically, an evil serpentine dragon who has lived in ancient China. He has moved on Japan and took control of one of the regions of Kyoto.
After some hundreds of years, he learned to take shapeshift into a human and he took different forms depending on what's common on the current era.
And he took this punk look due to how people perceive modern gangsters in this days.
"Yo brat! How's it going?" The dragon in a human form asks with a cheeky grin.
"I have come to convey the report of two of my elite agents."
"So, out with it!"
"Yes. They have tried reclaiming the stolen artifact from the girl's hand but it was passed by a godly being, is what they explained to me."
"... A godly being?" Jin took notice of that statement and became curious about it.
"Yes. They said that it was passed by a being assuming the form of a child of twelve or thirteen years of age. The being have shown them the futility of fighting against her using a power that they can't understand other than out of this world. After that, the being has let them leave with their lives intact with a warning of not disturbing her again." Koda said all that with a neutral seriousness on his face.
"What kind of power? Divine? Conceptual?"
"... They said that it can't be understood. They only feel that it might be all of the above and none of the above at the same time."
"Haaaaa?" Jin stands up on his sitting position while letting out a punk-like tone like he was bullying someone. "What kind of bullshit is that?" He asks with his grin turning into a frown, his forehead wrinkling in irritation.
"... I am sorry. The both of them can't also understand about the being other than that."
"Hmph! How useless!" Jin spat. "I think they are an Eldritch Spawn. Or an avatar of a Cosmic Being." He muttered to himself before going back to sitting on his bed.
Cosmic Beings and Eldritch Abominations are all beings outside the realms of understanding. No one can look at them other than those who can comprehend them.
While Eldritch Abominations are monsters who came from great beyond, Cosmic Beings are an entirely different matter. Still, both of them are as much of a threat as a real god.
In this world, they know that these beings are just roaming the vast sea of stars, doing whatever malicious or vile things in any planet that they encounter. A normal type of Eldritch Abomination will either assimilate a planet to their body or just corrupt every living thing inside it and turn them into something horrendous.
Cosmic Beings are just that, entities who are as wide as the cosmos. They are either made of concept, just literally an entity, or even a sentient phenomena on space. They are much scarier than an Eldritch Abomination due to the massive reach of their destructiveness.
One example is the legend of S'vobodra. A massive dark being made of black flesh that moves like a tentacle. It is said that it was a being who casually overrun a whole universe with just it's sheer mass, collapsing the whole fabric of reality because it can't contain it's mass.
There are a few avatars of Cosmic Beings staying on the planet Earth due to unknown reasons. There are also cases of Eldritch Spawns, a part of an Eldritch Abomination, who were encountered on some parts of this planet.
If they are talking about beings whose powers can't be understood, it would be one of those two types of creatures.
"Doesn't matter. I'll look into that shit and see if it was truly some hot stuff." He grinned with a cheeky look again.
"... Do you want someone to come with you?"
"Nah, that's a fucking waste of time." He rebukes his suggestion with a wave of his hand. "So anything else?"
"... There is none, Oyabun."
"Then move out. I'll be gone for awhile."
"Of course Oyabun." Koda only replied with a bow of his head before he moves out of the room.
After the door was closed, Jin crossed his legs with his hands leaning on the bed as he looks at the ceilings.
"Hah, this sounds interesting." His eyes lights up in a strange glimmer as his grin grew wider.
"I am glad Shirakami-san was talking to me." Ayumi said with a smile on her face.
She was currently alone in the kitchen, cleaning the dishes on the sink after her and Fubuki finishes eating their meal.
Though, after Fubuki finishes her meal, she quickly goes back to her room to play with her computer.
Because Ayumi was very happy when Fubuki talks to her so she personally made a bank account for Fubuki and transferred ten million yen in her account.
Well, she already have an account when she was still a human and by just searching on her name for a bit on the official Japanese Citizen Registry, and also using her full knowledge to crack the password of her account, she manages to open her bank account and enables Fubuki to use it once again.
Yes, Ayumi literally did what she won't do when she was still alone. She hacks into a government-related site just to make Fubuki happy. And for Ayumi, Fubuki's happiness is now one of her priorities.
It might have to do with her being spoken to by one of the person that she sees as an idol, so she was doing her best to impress Fubuki. Of course Ayumi just thinks that it would be bad if Fubuki became sad because she didn't accept her request.
"Anyway, I should go back to streaming. I think I should start making some requested arts this time." She said to herself as she finishes cleaning all of the dishes.
When she booted up her computer, she got some prompts in her vision indicating that she finishes some of her objectives.

Acquiring 1,000+ Subscribers is not an easy feat now in this world, even if they are a Vtuber. They really need to do everything they can, along with having a lot of patience before they can acquire that amount of subscribers.
Only new Vtubers who got popular since their first week are those part of a famous Vtuber group or even a famous company handling Vtubers.
It's been a decade since a Solo Vtuber got this much attention. There is a factor of her having a ridiculous amount if Charisma and Talent, but the deciding factor is still her viewers being loyal to her.
So she was glad for having them support her till now.

Sorry for the short chapter. I swear I was planning to make it long but it ended with just that...
So someone asks me why I am making this complicated even though it's alright as it is when she was just streaming alone.
My answer is this, I might have finish the story then and there if I didn't make any plot points.
Kotomi will stream, viewers will watch her stream and be amazed, then rinse and repeat. If I do that on every chapters, that would get too boring. Imagine seeing only that kind of scene for a hundred times, and you won't become satisfied anymore.
You would prefer watching a real Vtuber's stream than reading my poorly explained streaming scenes right?
Also, I did make a promise on the summary that this world have some mysteries lurking on it. I would be contradicting that statement if I throw all of that out of the window.
Yes, I know light hearted Slice of Life stories are good. I even read a lot of it because I was done getting broken hearted and being plainly dissatisfied due to the dark tones of the stories that I read on the past.
But it seems like I can't make a decent story that I will be satisfied if I just stayed with a story that doesn't have any interesting events in it. I just can't think of anything to write next when the story stagnated to the same formula.
It might have something to do with me being an incompetent writer. So I am so sorry if it was like that.
If you want, you can also make your own twist with this story. Make it like an AU of this story. A What If of Ayumi when she does things differently. Or make a different story altogether with this kind of promise. I would love to read a story like that.
Well... I am more of a reader than a writer anyway xD
Oh, and about the question if I watch the trailer on Kumo Desu Ga, Nani ka?
Well, I've already watch it for a long time. I think it's last year that it was released. What I am waiting is the anime itself. And I hope to anything holy out there that they wouldn't make it worse just like what they did to my favorite Isekai series like Arifureta and Death March! (I hope 2nd season happens!)
